Year of Wonder Woman

Day 1043: Charon

God who ferries the dead into the afterlife across the river Styx which flows beneath Paradise Island, Charon would take those who have perished beyond into the land of the dead regardless of who or what they are once their time has come be they mortals or gods.


Helena Alexandros the former Greek terrorist turned Amazon after finding redemption and being accepted by Wonder Woman was living on Paradise Island training in the ways of the Amazons, dissatisfied by how hard it was coming to her despite the fact that she only had a few years at something her fellow Amazons had been practicing for thousands of years.


However one day while passing the temple of Athena, Helena overheard Hippolyta speaking with Paula Von Gunther, and discovered the secret truth. That they had tampered with Dianas memory to hide the death of Steve Trevor! Shortly prior to the goddess erasing those memories, Paula had copied Dianas memories to her memory files. Records which stored the collective memories of everyone whose come to the island so that their experiences would be recorded for all eternity.


Helena feeling she owed her life to Diana, had sworn her loyalty to her, not the Amazons nor Hippolyta. So discovering that they were lying to Wonder Woman and keeping secrets from her, Helena swore that she would uncover the truth and reveal it to Wonder Woman!


So traveling to Knowledge Island the Amazonian island of science in the dead of night, Helena Alexandros went through the memory files and playing them, discovered the truth of Dianas past. The secret of Steve Trevors death. And proof that Hippolyta had deceived her!


Paula Von Gunther however being the sort of scientist who scoffed at the notion of sleep and worshiped at the alter of midnight coffee, walked in on Helena and declaring her a traitor to the Amazons, attempted to defeat and capture the Greek.


The two fighting, Helena managed to come out on top thanks to one of Paulas paralysis rays and began to restrain Paula, however an alarm was tripped and the other Amazons were on their way!


Helena going to the mental radio called the invisible jet in order to led Diana know that she discovered her memory had been tampered with and that she discovered the death of Steve Trevor.


However Wonder Woman had given the invisible jet to Steve for him to use on his missions for letting your significant other drive your beloved vehicle is the surest sign of true love, and thus it was Steve not Diana who got the call. More than a little excitable about hearing that he was apparently dead, Steve and the gremlin Glitch headed for Knowledge island in the jet for answers!


The Amazons arriving, Helena strapped Paula into the memory chair and made it look as though Paulas memories were going to be erased and made a run for it to get the truth to Diana before she was stopped. Fleeing, Helena swam for safty and wound up caught in an underwater river which carried her beneath the island.


Steve spying her going under, took the jet down after her for the jet was capable of functioning underwater and found an unconscious Helena being ferried off by Charon to the underworld. Steve leaving the jet, swam after and as the ferryman made it to the gates, a mindless Helena stepped through into the land of the dead.


Steve not having any of this ran in, grabbed Helena, ran back to the ferry, slugged Charon and took off with his boat, accidentally bumping into Eros in the process, freeing him from the underworld after his untimely death...At the hands of Doctor Cyber.


And thus Steve with Helena in tow just arrived aboard the invisible jet once more when Wonder Woman in dire peril herself, telepathically called the invisible jet to her rescue, causing the jets auto pilot to fly to her. Unaware that Eros was following after.

Day 1045: Eros

Olympian god of love, Eros was the son of Aphrodite, patron of the Amazons and thus counted himself as one of their patrons by default. He would become involved with Wonder Woman when Aphrodite wanting to rewards Diana for the decades of service, decided to bring Steve Trevor back to life after one of the times he had died, knowing he was the one closest to Dianas heart.


So to do this, Aphrodite had Eros transfer himself into the fallen form of Steve who had died yet again, thus merging the two, bringing Steve back to life. However while this revived Steve had all the memories of Steve Trevor, he also had the arrogance of a god who expected others to bow before him. Viewed Wonder Woman as something that belonged to him. And saw nothing wrong with trying to kill anyone who even looked at Wonder Woman wistfully. This was the Steve Trevor of the silver age.


Killed by Doctor Cyber, this Eros/Steve Trevor would come back to life, now with a hatred and loathing for Doctor Cyber, only to be killed off even deader than before when he was used as a power source to revive the Dark Commander.


This leading to Eros himself dying and winding up in Tartarus, Eros went mad, his memories now merged with those of Steve Trevor so even with his own form he had the personality of silver age Steve Trevor.


Freed from Tartarus when the new Steve Trevor from another universe bumped into him, Eros left the afterlife and discovering that Wonder Woman was in danger, rushed to her aid for he had the mind of silver age Steve Trevor.


Meanwhile, Doctor Cyber had returned and getting plastic surgery to look like Diana Prince and was causing havock. Having created a shapeshifting robot to terrorize Washington DC by switching between the forms of a giant bird, a spiked ball, and a rocket, Doctor Cyber was working on a scheme to discredit her enemies identity of Diana Prince.


Breaking into the pentagon and killing some guards, Doctor Cyber stole the launch codes for Americas missiles as a distraction from her true goal of stealing American cyphers so that their top secret government communications could be spied upon. Well aware it would finance the revival of her empire.


Escaping and leaving Diana Prince to look the criminal, Doctor Cypher was gloating, unaware that Wonder Woman was in pursuit, having called her invisible jet which Steve and Glitch were still riding within. Steve tried to explain what he had discovered, presenting the unconscious Sophia, but Diana was to focused on capturing Doctor Cyber, tracking her down to a military bomb shelter which she was using as a hideout.


Sneaking inside, Diana and Steve plotted to use the element of surprise when Eros caught up, stormed in and loudly declared he was there to rescue Wonder Woman and tear Doctor Cybers head off!


Doctor Cyber using her spider robots which were designed to constrict around her enemies and increase in temperature the more someone struggled in order to burn them alive upon Eros, only for the god to overpower the restraints, forcing Doctor Cyber to make a break for it.


Wonder Woman attempted to stop him, lassoing the god but not before Eros blasted Doctor Cybers escape craft from the sky in a momentous explosion, presumably killing her but probably not.


Wonder Woman upset by this since unlike Superman she doesn't kill her enemies, demanded to know why and the addled Eros declared that he was Steve Trevor and Doctor Cyber had killed him!


Sophia regaining conciousness, revealed that Wonder Womans memories had been tampered with, and that her true memories were stored on knowledge island! Wonder Woman shocked by this and Steve disturbed by Eros, all hurried to Knowledge Island off the coast of Paradise Island for answers.


Hippolyta finding out Diana had returned, rushed to knowledge island to find that Sophia had Diana strapped into the memory transference device, and was uploading all of Wonder Womans memories prior to the god given amnesia which erased Dianas and the worlds memories of her being a superhero prior to three years ago. Now discovering she had been active since world war 2 and that she had been doing this for decades, only for all memory of her efforts to be erased from the minds of all save the Amazons who kept it a secret from Diana in an effort to make her resign as Wonder Woman.


Confronting her mother, Diana was outraged that Hippolyta did this, the queen of the Amazons explaining she was simply trying to protect Diana, pointing out how hurt and devastated she was by Steves death. Diana however seeing this as a betrayal declared that she wanted nothing to do with Hippolyta anymore and was about to say far harsher things when sounds of a fight errupted outside.


For Eros was outraged at Steve being there and told him to get lost, for Wonder Woman belonged to him! Steve declared that Eros was being a horses ass and that women are not something you own, a relationship is built out of mutual respect. This enraging Eros, the Steve Trevor of the silver age who grew to titanic height and attempted to squash Steve like a bug!


Wonder Woman rescuing Steve attempted to fight Eros which only enraged him further and soon the Amazons were gathered together in order to battle the mad god who destroyed the laboratory on science island, breaking the purple healing ray which became a laser!


As Diana and Eros fought, the god had grabbed Steve just as Diana pushed him backwards and both man and god were caught in the purple ray which was shooting up into the sky. The two caught in the purple ray together were deeply affected by this, causing a terrific explosion of energy!


When the hubabaloo died down, Eros was now standing five feet tall and looked at peace, for the memories of Steve Trevor had left him. Meanwhile the Steve from another universe had gained those memories, now knowing everything Steve knew and what Eros as Steve knew from world war 2 until that death.


Thus Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman were now complete, having shared memories of their many years together, with Steve once again knowing Wonder Womans secret identity of Diana Prince.


Eros apologizing for the mess he caused, used his powers to aid in the reconstruction of the island.


However not everything could be repaired, for Diana still feeling betrayed by her mother declared she was cutting ties with the island and left with Steve and Glitch.

Sophia though chose to stay for she had done what she did to aid Diana for she feared the Amazons were acting against her. Knowing the full story, Sophia realized it was done out of love and appreciating the effort Hippolyta took to help her daughter, she worked to console her.

Day 1046: Pussycat

Pet black panther of the Cheetah. The only black panther of her cat menagerie which otherwise consists of Cheetahs. Pussycat was sent out to assassinate Wonder Woman, being promised what every cat seemingly desires, Hostess cupcakes .

However shockingly enough despite the black panther having the element of surprise, it was no match for Wonder Woman who defeating the panther, lasso'd it and proceeded to tame it with the power of Hostess cupcakes

Thus giving Pussycat a basket full of Hostess cupcakes , Wonder Woman followed Pussycat back to the Cheetah's secret lair and lie in wait as Cheetah being given the basket, was thorouglhy distracted eating the Hostess cupcakes , giving Wonder Woman time to defeat Cheetah's cheetahs, lassoing the cats and the supervillain together.

And under the influence of the magic lasso, Cheetah declared that Hostess cupcakes were 'the treat that can't be beat.'

Day 1047: Eloise Abernathy

Daughter of Lisa Abernathy and granddaughter of Russell Abernathy, Eloise was around ten years old and when she wasnt being taken care of by her mother and doted on by her retired grandpa, Eloise would be seen to by their neighbors in the same building, Diana Prince and Etta Candy.


One day in the army intelligence office, Eloise was waiting while her mother conducted an interview when she saw Glitch the gremlin. The gremlin was supposed to be invisible to everyone except for Diana and Steve but somehow there was a glitch in his technologically advanced cloaking device that let children who were pure of heart see him even with his scientific invisibility of science.


Grabbing the little green man, Eloise ignored Glitch's protests and snuck out of the pentagon which is really easy to do and heading for the nearby park she proceeded to poke and prod at Glitch, getting him to introduce himself and explain what he was.


Instead of letting him go, the little girl immediately decided to seek out her friends in order to show them the cool alien gremlin she found!


Meanwhile Lisa Abernathy having finished her interview was shocked to discover Eloise was missing! Nobody saw her leaving the pentagon due to her sharing the gremlins invisibility when she held him. She didn't go back home and thus somehow, she was gone from one of the most secure buildings in the country! Panic ensued!

Day1048: Mark Byron

Friend of Eloise Abernathy, Mark is a young lad around the same age as Eloise who happens to have a boyhood crush on her. Imagining thrilling adventures around every corner, Mark is the sort to jump to conclusions. His parents owning an electronics store, Mark happens to have his own key to the place which he uses to play games on the giant televisions.


The young lad was introduced to the alien Gremlin Glitch whom Eloise had kidnapped. Shortly afterwards, Eloise, Mark, and Michelle were walking along when a hologram appeared before the three of an alien known as a Ytirflirk.


Glitch in a panic told them to run as the alien began to speak, turning its attention on the three and hiding out, Glitch explained to the children about how the Ytirflirk had enslaved the Gremlins long ago and were seeking to capture him once more.


The three children swearing to keep Glitch from being captured proceede to go on the run, finding places to hide out as the hologram beamed down from outer space in order to seek out Glitch and teleport him back up into space.


The holograms being invisible to everyone except for small children, gremlins, and young animals, the trio were incapable of getting anyone to believe them and thus were hiding out with no one to turn to.


Thus the four of them hid out in the electronics store of Marks family for the night, only for the Ytirflirk to hijack the electronics within in order to find them, forcing a quick escape early in the morning.

Day 1049: Michelle Smith

Friend of Eloise Abernathy, Michelle was the quiet more introverted of the group of friends. The one to be more cautious and advise against doing anything dangerous, only to be overruled by Eloise and Mark.


So when the three children banded together to protect Glitch the Gremlin from being captured by the Ytirflirks and enslaved, Michelle was the one who suggested caution and trying to find someone to tell. But being overruled, she went along with it until as the four of them were fleeing into the park, they were caught by a force field!


Michelle tripping, fell into a ditch as the forcefield began closing in, causing the field to miss her as it pushed Mark, Eloise, and Glitch into a confined space where the trio were taken through a gateway, captured to become slaves of the Ytirflirks!


Michelle seeing this, knew that she needed to get help! Doubting that her parents could do anything, she recalled that Eloises grandpa was a former senator and that Eloise would brag about all the generals and such who would often come by to visit. So heading straight there, Michelle pounded on the door and told Eloises mother everything. While Lisa Abernathy was reeling from this information, Diana Prince who happened to be coming home herself heard this and changing into Wonder Woman, went to confront the problem head on!


Heading to the park, Diana discovered traces of the alien teleporter which was still cracked open, but to small to enter. Thus Wonder Woman drawing her lasso, cast out one end of it through the portal and once it closed, the magic lasso stretched out hundreds of miles to where the spaceship was located. In space above Russia.


For the Ytirflirk were in search of something the Gremlins unknowingly stole when they made their escape.....

Day 1050: Robot Master

Criminal genius and thief, Robot Master using his knowledge of robotics created three life-like models of himself to act as decoys. Each one designed to look exactly like him and have his mental waves and mannerisms, they seemed to be truly autonomous robots.

With his trio of identical helpers, Robot Master planned to commit four crimes at once in order to confound law enforcement who would be baffled trying to figure out how he did it. for trying to pin four crimes on the same man simultaneously is simply not feasible.

However Wonder Woman catching wind of Robot Masters scheme cornered him and his robotic doubles in his hideout. However Robot master standing alongside his duplicates gloated that Wonder Woman would never be able to catch im for it was impossible for her to tell which of them was the real Robot Master!

However Wonder Woman cannily had a plan for defeating such nare do wells and had at hand Hostess twinkie cakes ! Throwing one at each of the four, Diana watched as the real Robot Master caught his, opened it, and greedily began gobbling it down while stealing the Hostess twinkie cakes from his robot duplicates.

Wonder Woman declared that his love of Hostess twinkie cakes was his undoing but Robot Master did not care for as he declared under the magic lassos power, "Hostess twinkie cakes are the delicious treat that can't be beat!"

Thus Wonder Woman escorted Robot Master away, leaving the three robots to mourn their inability to enjoy Hostess twinkie cakes . Their lives a hollow and pointless existence without the ability to enjoy a Hostess twinkie cake .

Day 1051: Cassandra

Immortal Greek woman cursed with the power of prophecy, Cassandra was the daughter of king Priam whose life was forever changed when Apollo hit on her and she refused, leading to the god cursing her to know everything that will happen but be cursed to have no one believe her. Presumably to keep her from telling everyone what a huge douche Apollo was.


Also being handed the curse of immortality so that she would be in a position to foresee the end of the world and be powerless to stop it, Cassandra spent thousands of years watching her fellow humans and over time developing magical powers allowing her to teleport, fly through the sky, and carry her voice through the wind.


But despite this any effort Cassandra might make to thwart fate herself would be foiled by Apollo who gave her the curse so that none would believe her, not so that she could act to prevent it.


However, Cassandra would come across an individual who shared the same cursed existence as herself. Gardner Grayle, a time traveling Atomic Knight from the future who would ride upon a mutant dalmatian in an atomic wasteland devastated by a thermonuclear war.


Flung back into the past and developing the power of precognition, Gardner knew that the world was doomed on the path he had been born and did everything in his power to warn everyone of what was to come. However everyone wrote him off as a deluded madman who was making up stories.


However despite viewing him as a deluded loon they were impressed by his ability to know when something would happen and the quality of his suit of armor. So upgrading it with flight, the Atomic Knight became a government sponsored superhero.


Due to the unique powers possessed by Gardner Grayle and the circumstances he was involved with, he was one of a select few people whom Cassandra could speak to about the future whom the curse would not affect.


Naturally having spent thousands of years unable to speak to anyone who would believe her, Cassandra was overjoyed by this. However she was also feeling a sense of schadenfreude to see someone else experiencing the same torture that she had suffered with for thousands of years.


Thus Cassandra proceeded to mercilessly troll the Atomic Knight about how much it sucks to know everyone is doomed but being unable to do anything about it. As much to make herself feel better as to motivate him. For unlike herself, the Atomic Knight had the power to act and realizing how pointless it was to try and use reason, the Atomic Knight flew off into action to avert the end of the world!


A doom which could only be averted by stopping Wonder Woman. Naturally Cassandra followed after, bemused to watch events unfold differently from how she had predicted for a change.

Day 1052: Albert Astor

Appearing during an unusual super short lived period where Wonder Woman was a private detective, Albert Astor came to the colorfully dressed seemingly noir detective in the hopes that Wonder Woman could help him in the most serious and only case in her detectiving career.


The search for the Maltese cupcake! A legendary confection which was supposed to be the forerunner that all cupcakes are modeled after, its taste foretold to be without peer! Craving this most supposedly delicious confection, Albert Astor was eager for the chance to make it his!


So coming to Wonder Woman, Albert sought her help to which Diana agreed. Though secretly Albert in the name of secrecy plotted to kill Wonder Woman once she discovered the maltese cupcake so that it would be his and none would know that it was in his possession!


However unbeknownst to Albert Astor, His efforts were well known in the cupcake black market and he had been trailed for weeks in the hopes that he would come across the most valuable of confections, the maltese cupcake.

Day 1053: Cindy Bluestreet

Aka: The 'Fat Lady' Cindy Bluestreet was the criminal kingpin of the largest black market cupcake empire in Uh-Oh district. Cindy Bluestreet caught wind of Astors quest for the legendary maltese cupcake and sought to make it hers so that she could turn around and sell it for a fortune.

Discovering that he had hired Wonder Woman in order to track down the fabled confection, Cindy sent her minion Petula Lorry to meet with Diana immediately afterwards and tells her that she knows where the maltese cupcake is. Diana follows, unaware that Astor hadn't walked out of earshot yet when Diana was approached.

Thus Wonder Woman followed Petula to the Uh-Oh district where she was introduced to Cindy Bluestreet who revealing herself, threatened to off Wonder Woman if she didn't drop the case of the maltese cupcake.

Astor sneaking into the attic of Cindy Bluestreets building, and thinking Diana had found the cupcake, spied a heavy statue and attempted to push it down, killing from Cindy BlueStreet, Petula Lorry, and Wonder Woman so that he could steal the maltese cupcake for himself!

Wonder Woman simply catching the statue, proceeded to lasso Astor, Bluestreet, and Lorry to send to jail for threats and attempted murder, giving everyone a Hostess cupcake for their trouble.

Day 1054: Alexi Petrovich

Russian lieutenant of the Soviet Union army, Alexi along with his platoon were assigned to stop an incoming American plane by any means necesaryk, thus putting the two countries on the brink of war as Steve Trevor flew the invisible jet into Russian airspace.


With Steve investigating a strange energy reading over Russia, he was heading right for it when he saw the magic lasso in the air and Wonder Woman quickly approaching as she wound the lasso in pursuit of the opposite end!


Steve landing the plane in the middle of a snowy plane, met with Wonder Woman to find out what was going on, only for the two of them to be attacked by the Atomic Knight who declared that Wonder Womans presence in Russia was going to kick off world war 3!


Wonder Woman and the Atomic Knight began to fight when Diana noticed Cassandra watching the fight with interested. Recognizing the mythological figure and realizing that the Atomic Knight must be telling the truth, Diana convinced the atomic powered precog to cease fighting and talk things out.


However as stories were swapped and understanding was achieved, the Russian platoon which included Alexi flew in and air dropped down onto the field in order to confront the two Americans and the Amazon!


Shots were soon fired and bullets deflected, a confrontation seemed destined to happen when the alien spacecraft following the magic lasso which was coming out of the ship. The Ytirflirks were invading and demanding the surrender of the puny humans!


Thus everyone assembled quickly putting aside their differences for the moment teamed up to take on the present danger!

Day 1055: Andre

Professional romancer of women and wealthy layabout, Andre and his friend Paul were neighbors who lived on Ise De Amour island which also happened to be the locale that the villain Multi-face was using as his evil headquarters because island lairs were in vogue.


When Paul had romanced Supergirl, convincing her to retire from superheroing for a life of being a model, Wonder Woman was contacted by Superman to check up on her in case this was one of your standard evil mind control plots.


Trying to speak with Supergirl, Kara ignored Wonder Woman thus Diana being hit on by Andre played along so she could keep an eye on Kara, the two superheroes heading for Ise de amour island.


Multi-face spying the two superheroes begins to panic, thinking that the two wealthy layabouts had realized their neighbor was a supervillain and went to get the supers to foil his scheme! So preparing his full array of missiles and munitions, Multi-face began to attack with everything he had at the four of them!


Supergirl and Wonder Woman teaming up, effortlessly foiled the villains scheme and aprehended him. Though suspecting Andre and Paul of leading them into a trap by Multiface, the two women left them on the island with their homes which had been destroyed by Multi Face's attack.

Day 1056: Yuri Illyich Kolosenko

Russian commander of the soviet union platoon which was sent to stop Steve Trevor, Yuri and his men had Steve cornered and were about to end his life. An event which would have marked the start of world war 3 between the two nations.


That is were it not for a series of circumstances that resulted in an alien spaceship coming in and attempting to conquer the Earth! Yuri ordering Alexi to lead the group while he was gone, joined the Atomic Knight, Steve, and Wonder Woman in boarding the spacecraft, leading to the four of them fighting their way through the ogre-like aliens known as the Ytirflirks!


Discovering Glitch and the two children on the ships bridge having escaped their cage and in the process of playing cat and mouse with their commander, Yuri and the others proceeded to defeat the last of the villains and stowed them away in their own gallows.


However even with the aliens freed this was not the end of things for Glitch revealed why the Ytirflirks had kidnapped him again! For it turned out that without the Gremlins knowing, the ship they had stolen and crash landed on Earth contained a 'phlogiston bomb' which was capable of single handedly heavily irradiating a planet, killing 99.9999% of all life, and turning its oceans into deserts.


The bomb miraculously did not go off when the Gremlins crash landed on Earth seventy years ago, but the Earth was on borrowed time for should it ever go off the world was doomed!


With little time to spare, the heroes decided to split up. Thus after dropping off the two children back in Washington DC with the teleporter one group consisting of Steve, Etta, and Glitch took the spacecraft into space in search of the other Gremlins for help in defusing the bomb and removing it safely.


Meanwhile Yuri and the Atomic Knight were heading into Russia in order to find and destroy the bomb before it ended the Earth.

Day 1057: Grimmel

Aging gremlin who upon crashing on Earth discovered the phlogiston bomb seventy years ago, came to serve as its guardian to keep it from going off. Seperated from his fellow Gremlins and unable to search for them without leaving the bomb unprotected.


Grimmel wound up being found by humans who served the Russian monarchy of the time and explaining the situation to them and the true gravity of it all, they proceeded to have a palace constructed around the bomb in order to hide its presence. The palace itself constructed in secret and guarded by a private army sworn to keep the bomb safe.


When the monarchy died off the secret of the bomb and the existence of Grimmel died with them. Thus for seventy years Grimmel sat upon the massive bomb cloistered in a palace that was secretly guarded by the grandchildren of the soldiers who were first charged with protecting it. Told only that should anyone enter, the world would end.


Decades of being in solitary confinement with none to associate with and the slow poisoning of the bombs radiation took a toll on Grimmel who aged due to the bombs detrimental properties, mutating and becoming rather mad with the development of split personalities in order to keep himself company.


Yuri Kolosenko and Atomic Knight sought it out and between Yuris knowledge of Russia and military clearance. And the Atomic Knights suit which was able to track the phlogiston bombs energy, they were able to locate the bomb and fought their way inside of the palace to discover Grimmel who seeing them went into a mad panic and fought them until accidently stumbling outside and seeing the world for the first time in seventy years he curled up on the ground and wept.


However their small bout destabalized the bomb and threatened to set it off at any moment! The Atomic Knight not desiring to see his future once again grabbed the bomb and using the power of his upgraded atomic suit, grabs the bomb which was the size of a four story building, crashes it through the roof and carries it into space as it explodes, dying in the process!


Wonder Woman arrives with the gremlins shortly after, to late to diffuse the bomb and collect Grimmel whose now with his people and Glitch decides to leave with his fellow Gremlins for the stars, thanking Wonder Woman and Steve for including him in their many amazing adventures before the Gremlins depart, leaving everyone to give their last respects to the Atomic Knight who worked to avert his past, the future of a doomed world.

Day 1058: Amazon Guardian Angel
A random unexplained figure of questionable cosmological significance, This unnamed unexplained figure dressed in golden Spanish conquistador styled armor and bearing a pair of golden wings was apparently 'Wonder Womans guardian angel'

Supposed to in an unspecified way protect Wonder Woman from danger, this Amazon guardian angel seemingly was focused more upon giving vague warnings of possible danger from unspecified sources directed at Diana while visiting Gotham city. And encouraging driver safety.

Unseen by any aside from Diana, the Amazon Guardian angel never actually did anything, and would only appear to warn of danger before vanishing into thin air. Which would be more helpful except the danger could be referring to an immediate threat within the next few seconds or a more generalized omnipresent threat that isn't actually directed at anyone and wont happen for days. With no real clarification as to the level of magnitude or the time it would occur.

The Amazon Guardian angel popped up when Batman asked Wonder Woman to come in disguise to serve as the duenna for a girl named Senorita Conchita whose nursemaid Pilar had gotten hit by a car.

Conchita's family being associated with a revolution movement in the city of San Sebastian, they had come to the United States because they discovered that the atrocities being committed upon their people by the evil government was being supported by a number of wealthy elites in Gotham city who made their money on the blood of the oppressed by selling munitions through the black market into San Sebastian.

Batman convinced that all rich people are fine upstanding citizens who are supporting the economy and that Conchitas family are evil because their foreigners, had contacted Wonder Woman in order to spy on the girl so that he could catch them in the wrong and see them behind bars.

Wonder Woman naturally realizing that Batmans an idiot, foiled an assassination attempt by a crooked weapons manufacturer who also happened to run the gangs in control of Gotham harbor and proceeded to save Conchita and let Batman help out as she defeated the criminals and put an end to the munitions black market.

With the Amazon guardian angel popping up now and then to declare 'there is great danger in your future!" Before vanishing.

Day 1059: Baron Blitzkrieg

Prussian noble and nazi who was around during world war 2, Reiter Blitzkrieg was a favorite of hitlers, regularly inviting him to his castle in Rhineland. Building a comraderie in shared appreciation for mass genocide, hitler gave the baron a position of power within his regime.


Placed in charge of a concentration camp where jewish scientists would be imprisoned, he would force them to develop weapons for the nazis war effort, gunning down jewish children every time they refused or to punish them for taking to long.


One of the scientists hurling a bottle of acid at the baron, struck him dead in the face, causing the flesh of the barons face to melt away. hitler ordering Baron Blitzkrieg to be saved no matter the cost, the baron would undergo intensive operations and be injected with all manner of super soldier serums until he not only recovered, but gained incredible power in the process.


However this was not a complete recovery for his face was now scarred beyond all recovery. Thus he wore a mask at all times, eternally cursing his deformed visage.


Now faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, Baron Blitzkrieg was one of the most dangerous weapons the nazis possessed. With flight and heat vision amongst his array of abilities.


Ordered to assassinate Churchill and other high ranking officials of the allied forces, he wound up being stopped by Wonder Woman who blocking his occular lasers with her bracelets, by chance had his own heat vision reflect back, scarring Baron Blitzkriegs face even further in the process!


Managing to escape and requiring months to recover, the Baron would have developed new weapons for his planned return.....

Day 1060: Professor Adamson

Premier scientist in the field of hero stalking, Professor Adamson was around during world war 2 and made it his business to keep track of every hero and villain in the world, and keeping track of every big name superpowered figures every movement.


His job during the war became a constant effort to track superheroes movements and ensure that they were always focused on the enemy and never had the chance to dig to deeply into the governments affairs to discover the more nefarious things that their own country was plotting.


Thus when Wonder Woman happened to rescue a renowned scientist who was nearly kidnapped by Baron Blitzkrieg in an effort to steal information about 'project Manhattan' Wonder Woman became curious despite a full military platoon surrounding her and threatening to blast her to kingdom come should she mention it to anyone or even think about what it could be.


Using the guise of Diana Prince, Wonder Woman began to investigate using her security clearance and discovered Americas development of nuclear weapons capable of wiping out whole cities. Diana troubled by this went to Paradise Island for advice from Hippolyta on whether she should turn against those she saw as an ally if they were planning to cause even greater evils than those they fought against.


Meanwhile the government in a panic that a hero like Wonder Woman would find out about their nukes and try to stop them from nuking cities, decided to turn to a superhero who approved of their city nuking methods. Thus Superman was called by the president and having the situation explained to him, was deputized to stop Wonder Woman!


Diana returning to the states with the intention of confronting America about their city nuking plans, was attacked immediately by Superman without warning, the man of steel punching the invisible plane and sending it hurtling through a building. Thus a battle began of incredible proportions with Wonder Woman stating that America has no right to kill millions of people because doing such a thing was wrong and Superman declaring that if it is never wrong if America is doing it!


The battle causing terrible collateral damage, the two heroes agreed to settle things on the moon where no innocents would be harmed thus they flew up to the moon to battle in the wreckage of an ancient civilization which had been destroyed through nuclear war with one another to settle this dispute.


Their fight lasting for days, their fight was only paused when they noticed the lights for every city in the united states were blinking on and off in morse code to spell 'S.O.S' for Professor Adamson had been ordered to find and get the two heroes!


The pair returning, they discovered that while they were fighting, Sumo Samurai and Baron Blitzkrieg had stolen the two nukes! Thus putting aside their differences for the moment the two heroes teamed up to stop them.

Day 1061: Zoan Zwerg

Undercover spy for the OSS, Zoan Zwerg mannaged to infiltrate the ranks of the nazis forces to become Baron Blitzkriegs second in command. Uncovering their plan to steal Americas city destroying nukes during world war 2, Zwerg attempted to get word out only for his contact to wind up dead.


With no means of warning anyone, Zwerg instead concocted a plan in which he left out in the open nazi plans to upon conquering europe and defeating America, to betray Japan and use the nukes on them as well.


Sumo the Samurai discovering this, went along with the plan to steal Americas nukes but stole them for Japan at the last moment and made a break for it. Baron Blitzkrieg in pursuit, Zwerg saw his chance and leaked their secret nazi hideout in new orleans to authorities who rounded up the barons men and explained the situation to Superman and Wonder Woman who caught up with the villains on a deserted pacific island.


A fight ensued and the baron declaring that if he cannot have the nukes then no one could, detonated them! With Wonder Woman inside of her invisible plane which was impervious to radiation and Superman legging it, the heroes survived, and the villains were defeated.


And with the nukes destroyed, the whole issue seemed to be resolved. With Wonder Woman unaware that America secretly had two other nukes that whole time.

Day 1062: Zodor

Random run of the mill evil lord, Zodor seemingly ruled over a magic island near Paradise Island and would periodically attempt to invade the island of the Amazons with his army only to be driven back time and time again.


Leading an army of giants and using his powers of sorcery, Zodor failed time and again to set foot on the island but would always escape efforts by the Amazons to capture him thanks to his magical abilities which allowed him to teleport with his men away to a random location.


Somehow or other managing to capture Hippolyta with the power of off panel, this villainous sorcerer demanded the previously unmentioned and seemingly unimportant 'Pearl of the Amazons' which has no named abilities or properties beyond being something that Zodor wanted.

Day 1062: Carver D bratwurst

Eunuch doctor of mad science and medicine, Carver holds doctorates in witch doctoring, hypnosis, alchemy, medicine, surgery, homeopathy, and poisons. Having at one point served as the royal doctor for an unspecified king, Carver lost his position after an operation gone wrong which resulted in the loss of the royal heir.


With his life being something which the people also wanted to see removed from Carvers person, the rejected doctor developed a new appreciation for nautical exploration and proceeded to steal a vessel, high tailing it before anyone realized what he was up to.


Unfortunately due to a lack of actual nautical experience or knowledge, Carver wound up aimlessly sailing with no clear destination and would go on to crash the ship, launch a dingy, crash the dingy, and float on a plank of wood for seven days before washing ashore on Paradise Island.


Nursed back to health, Carver would be offered a place to stay on a neighboring island and the doctor certain that he would surely perish should he be found by authorities from the nation he had fled, readily accepted and would soon find a pleasant cave which he would redecorate with a new array of medical equipment he fashioned by hand.


Declaring that he would offer his services to any Amazon in need of medical aid, Carver would find not a single Amazon ever actually visited as they happened to have their own doctors already.


Thus Carver would pass his time with medical experiments and research into the secrets of his craft.

Day 1963: Mighty Bulque

Giant minion of the sorcerer Zodor, Bulque was a giant of a man who wielding a giant club and wearing a collection of pelts and a metal horned helm, Bulque was capable of lifting hundred ton boulders and tossing them with ease thanks to his incredible strength.


When Zodor kidnapped Hippolyta, the sorcerer demanded the 'Amazon pearl' and immediately certain that the Amazons would ignore his demand he sent Bulque to lead an army of giants to Paradise Island in order to destroy them and steal the pearl.


The villain despite numerous attempts which ended in his easy defeat exuded arrogant and baseless over confidence. Convinced that the only thing that was stopping them from defeating the Amazons in the past was the leadership of Hippolyta and that they would fall apart without her, Bulque stormed the beaches convinced that he would be victorious.


However despite Bulques assumption, the Amazons effortlessly defeated him and his men. Punching the lot of them so hard that they went flying into the air and back to the island they came from where upon they crashed through the ceiling of Zodors lair.

Day 1064: Brawnhilde

Amazon of Paradise Island with a curiously non Greekish name, Brawnhilde is built like a brick house and posesses incredible brawn to the point that she is often mistaken for a giant.


Possessing a bizarre obsession with Jerry Lewis and having trouble controlling her terrific strength, Brawnhilde would often break trees when grabbing for some fruit. Or destroy doors when trying to open them.


When Bulque invaded the island with his army, the giant mistook Brawnhilde for one of his people and attempted to woo her, leading to Brawnhilde braining him with a boulder. When the villain went flying back to his island, Brawnhilde swam off in pursuit to give him a piece of her mind.


With the muscled Amazon tearing a hold open in the walls of his lair, Zodor who was pinned beneath an unconcious army of giants in a panic, teleported to escape just as the wall to his lair came down. Marooning the lot of them in a palm tree in Tahiti.


And so with that Hippolyta was rescued and peace was restored once more with some help from Brawnhilde.

Day 1065: Anton Lupescu

Master sculptor of great talent, Lupescu was capable of carving anything from scale model statues of insects to ten story tall marvels. Considered by many to be the greatest sculptor in the world, there was no material Anton was hesitant to work with.


It was for this reason that Anton Lupescu would become unknowingly a puppet for an alien consciousness from beyond the stars! For years ago on the planet Skyrn, there existed a people made from ice and due to global warming they were dying out.


In a desperate effort to live, the greatest of Skyrn minds discovered the planet Earth and devised a machine which would convert the consciousness into a being of thought and used it on himself! Collecting and storing away the consciousness of his species, the scientist traveled to Earth and began working to mind control Anton Lupescu!


The good sculptor traveling to the frozen north, began working on a large ice sculpture the size of a two story building. Unaware that he was being controlled as he worked on recreating the body of the Skyrn scientist.


Once his work was completed, the scientist bid the sculptor to carve the rest of his species while the scientist set out to bring about a new ice age on the planet in order to prevent global warming.


Wonder Woman and Superman both teaming up, discovered the giant ice being bearing down on a city determined to end global warming by destroying the technology which causes it, and went to confront the being which was seemingly immune to any force used against it.


Driving it away, Wonder Woman and Superman pursued, looking for answers when Anton Lupescus caretaker Mrs Quinch waved them down and explained what happened.


So finding Anton, they snapped him from his hypnosis just as he finished the construction of another ice giant, with the original arriving in order to give it life. The heroes succeeding in destroying them, stopped them from foiling global warming.


As for the Skym consciousness, Superman would used his advanced technology to bottle it and gleefully declared he would put the screaming collection of imprisoned people in his zoo. For it brought Superman one step closer to his dream of one day putting the whole universe in a bottle.


As for Anton, he would be returned to his caretaker and spend some days recovering from his ordeal, declaring that it would be a long time before he would work with ice again.

Day 1066: Doctor Turhune

Brilliant scientist in the field of botany, Doctor Turhune wishing to do his part in bettering the world developed genetically altered plant life in order to allow it to not only grow, but flourish under the harshest of conditions!


Developing his process on jungle plants, Doctor Turhune planted them in the middle of a baren desert and watched them sprout and flourish into a full jungle in a matter of hours. The army taking an interest in this, volunteered to help test it and soon enough the jungle was being carpet bombed, followed by men with flamethrowers torching it and a barrage of tank fire upon the jungle.


Despite all of this however, the jungle within a few hours had completely regrown despite the lack of water or nutrition in the soil. The doctors serum turning out to be a great success.


However while Doctor Turhune took pride in his experiment thinking that this would help mankind to prosper, the military had different ideas for his little concoction. For someone who was capable of healing from any blow and surviving without food or water was would be a valuable asset to the military.


However despite the clever planning of the good doctor, he would not see coming the sudden attack as sand worms errupted from the ground in an effort to spirit him away!

Day 1067: Christine Cade

Brilliant scientist who was raised on Paradise Island and learned the secrets of their advanced science. Christine Cade was a young girl when she washed ashore on Paradise Island, the vessel she had been sailing on lost at sea and everyone aboard including her parents being lost to the tides save for herself.


Adopted by the Amazons, Christine would be raised alongside Diana who would come to see Christine as a sister. The pair of them developing a sisterly relationship as together they would be trained in the Amazonian way of life. Christine would be taught in the ways of the Amazons both physically and mentally.


Giving her not only a physical might and prowess surpassing most mortals, but a scientific knowledge far beyond the scope of what the minds of the outside world could ever hope to comprehend.


Christine having been in awe of Diana and her nature as being born from clay, sought to go beyond the scope of Amazonian knowledge itself and seek out secrets beyond the scope of mortals.


However Christines experiments and efforts would not go unnoticed and Athena would appear before her, warning Christine to cease her efforts. For "There were things man was not meant to know!"


In the end Athenas warnings would do nothing to deter Christine who prizing her research over all else, chose to flee the island in order to continue her research into the blessing of Aphrodite. Diana for years wondered what had happened to Christine, unaware of her research.


Christine would go on to continue her research into the secrets of giving life to clay and after years of effort, she would succeed! Though only after she began to use herself as a lab rat, resulting in her body becoming living clay which could be freely molded and altered temporarily in a surreal reversal of Diana.


A new form which would grant her a form of invulnerability, limited shapeshifting, flawed immortality, and the ability to control clay and things born from clay with her mind.


Thus Christine was now capable of creating clay statues and giving them life however this was not a complete success on Christines part for she had one terrible flaw which she never thought to overcome. Her inability when it comes to artistic expression.


Though she could lift ten tones, run faster than a cheetah, build a super computer from the contents of a tool shed and unlock the mysteries of life itself, Christine Cade was bad at art.


This flaw being a fatal one for Christine would undeterred, attempt to fashion clay statues to give them life. Where she went wrong would be a far longer list than where she went right which could be summed up in the malladies faced by her creations.


For these new beings which she gave life to did not have eyes. Instead they had two holes in their heads where someone just pushed in, making it look like they had their eyes carved out.

They could not speak for in place of a mouth they had a hole the size and shape of a finger pressed into them and no neck to separate the head from the chest, Meaning all they were capable of was a shrill and constant scream of uncontrollable agony.

They had trouble moving for they lacked joints or proper articulation. With their limbs never at matching lengths and hands which were just clumsily fashioned balls.

Their skin was folded in on itself and melted in a grotesque manner.


Undeterred by this and assuming it was a side effect, Christine proceeded to use cybernetics to augment her creations, only for them to begin dying out for their design and existance was one of constant pain and agony due to the ineptitude of their creator.


This would lead to Christine having her cybernetic clay minions kidnap Doctor Terhune in the hopes that his science could ensure her creations eternal existence. However this would draw the attention of Wonder Woman who coming to Terhunes rescue, was shocked to discover Christine.


Wonder Woman attempting to reach out to her childhood friend, tried helping her to see the light to which Christine viewing the Amazons as coveting this great secret, attempted to first command Wonder Woman to commit devastation, then later to try and slay Wonder Woman outright.


Had Christine been more conservative with her powers she would have lived on for ever but this strain was to much and Christine died from overextending her abilities. Thus was the end of Christine Cade.
