Year of Wonder Woman

Day 124: Scribla

Servant of the Duke of Deception, Scribla is the Dukes trusted assistant who oversees the lie factories in his name. Dutiful in her work, Scribla cares not that she is aiding in acts of war. She is loyal to the Duke of Deception and aids him without pause, convinced that he can do no wrong.


The lie factories, are office buildings on the planet Mars where the Duke of deception imprisons the brightest and most intelligent of those captured by Mars. Since the god of war looks down upon things like intelligence, and only views strength in battle as a worthwhile pursuit, he tosses those he considers worthless in the Duke of Deceptions direction and commands him to achieve results.

Aside from being in charge of the servants and the prisons and the weapon factories, The Duke of Deception also has his precious lie factories from which he has the best and brightest minds who were murdered in war chained to desks, never to leave as they toil to on the creation of sinister plans, schemes and mechanization at the Dukes bidding. Leading to the design of new and starling machines.

And when they are not doing that, those imprisoned geniuses are hard at work constructing propaganda and smoke screens to implant into the heads of mortals. To fuel their preconceptions and prejudices, and incite war due to hatred and bigotry of things they do not understand and fear due to a sense of 'different.'

It is thanks to Scribla that the Duke of Deception always has a dozen contingencies on hand for she is the one who combs through those inventions and reports, presenting the Duke of Deception with the ideas that would be most effective.

An unsung villain who operates in the shadows to prop up the sinister Duke of Deception, Scribla deserves alot of the credit for the terrible tragedies wrought by the Duke of Deception.

Day 125: Kibby Maxwell

A young lad whose mother works at a munitions factory, Kibby Maxwell is a rather ordinary child with a love of the snow and winter. One day while sledding down a hill a few miles out of town he happened upon Diana Prince who was writing her horse friend Sergei (Because of course Diana is friends with a horse.)


Seeing Kibby sliding down the hill, Diana was amazed. For Paradise Island happens to be in a more tropical climate, and this was her first winter. Introducing herself and keeping to her secret identity, Diana asked young Kibby what he was doing and showing off his sled, he explained the arte of sledding to Diana.

Fascinated, Diana asked the young lad to teach her how it was done and made for quite the fascinating sight as Diana Prince was soon zooming down a hill face first on a sled with a young child on her back.

With one of the basics of winter pass times explained to Diana, Kibby proceeded to make a snowman, introducing another curious concept to the Amazon who forgetting her own strength, made one that was twenty feet tall.

Finally as it grew late, Wonder Woman helpfully used the help of Sergei to pull Kibbys sleigh back to his home.

It would be some days later that a fire broke out at the munitions factory where Kibbys mother worked and thinking only of his mother, Kibby ran into the blazing inferno that had consumed the building to find his mother who had gotten trapped in the basement level! Helping his mother out of the basement, they were cut off with no escape as the fire had made it impossible to escape and all hope seemed lost!

That is until Wonder Woman riding upon a familiar looking horse arrived at the building and running into the fire, Diana carried the mother and child to the roof where her Invisible jet waited above with a rope ladder to rescue the imperiled pair!

And with Kibby and his mother safe from harm, Wonder Woman rode off into the sunset, as quickly as she arrived.

Day 126: Doctor Hezekiah Deacon
President of the Holliday College, Doctor Deacon was an esteemed doctor who professing a love of education and a desire to make the college successful, was offered the position as the college president.

Unbeknownst to everyone else however, Doctor Deacon was in reality obsessed with money and cared for nothing else. Upon obtaining the position he so desired, Hezekiah gleefully funneled money into his secret bank account, stealing from the college coffers to fill his wallet.

When the college treasurer Howard White found out about this, he confronted Hezekiah and threatened to go to the police if Doctor Deacon didn't turn himself in. Cornered and prepared to do anything for his ill gotten gain, Doctor Deacon murdered Howard White to keep his secret.

Seeing someone so obsessed with money that they would murder for it attracted the attention of the Earl of Greed who whispering in Hezekiah's ear, gaze the doctor a plan to make billions.

The next day, Howard White was reported missing, with Doctor Deacon declaring that the college coffers had been emptied! And that with no money, he would be forced to close the school immediately.

Quickly booting the students and teachers from the supposedly bankrupt college, Howard White brought in a group of people that the nagging voice of greed convinced him were trustworthy, and began construction on a tunnel which would go from the Holliday college basement, to come up below the federal gold reserve, which he intended to loot for his own gain!

And with the school abandoned, his plan seemed fool proof and guaranteed to succeed with no one the wiser!
However the one thing he did not count on was Wonder Woman acting out of charity and regaining the missing 50,000 dollars. For Wonder Woman was not about to let an institution of education fall to ruin, depriving people of a chance to broaden their knowledge.

So heading back to the college on the arms of a pair of Holliday girls, Wonder Woman was the center of a grand parade of students and teachers marching back to the school with the money in hand to give to the college president!

When they arrived they found a group of men carrying bars of gold out of the basement who pulled guns on the crowd, intending to silence the witnesses. After the lot of them were tidily lasso'd up, Wonder Woman commanded them to reveal the true mastermind and thus Hezekiah Deacon found himself jailed for his crimes. A victim of his own foolish greed.

Day 127: Professor Stimulus

Professor of psychology at the Holliday college (Because of course Marston would have made at least one psychologist.)

Professor Stimulus is a friendly face who teaches his students about the nature of the mind and the way trauma and confinement can negatively effect a persons mental well being.


Informing his students that a healthy body aids a healthy mind, he encourages them to be more active, lecturing that it will give them a more positive mental state.


He also applauds the shock treatment. The use of physical strain or an external force such as cold water to the face as a means of snapping people out of a catatonic state.

The most interesting thing about Professor Stimulus though, is that he specifically teaches a class on how to overcome mind control and how to overcome mental control affecting others.

This might seem like an unusual lesson plan, though with people like Doctor Psycho and Hypnota out there with powerful mental abilities, lessons in overcoming mind control are surprisingly practical and just go to show that a healthy amount of foreknowledge and preparation can go along way.

The usefullness of classes like this cannot be understated. And it leaves me wondering, in a superhero universe, what other lesson plans would students learn as a necessary part of their curriculum in order to avoid the dangers that come of living in a superhero universe?

Day 128: Marva Jane Gray

Otherwise known as Marva Psycho, Marva is the ex wife of Doctor Psycho, having been hypnotized by the fiend and forced to become his wife and virtual slave for years under his power.

Breaking free of his control after having years of her life stolen, Marva felt like she had no power over her life and as though she lost everything after all that Doctor Psycho did.

So filing for a divorce, Marva cast aside her powerful physic abilities which allowed her to create solid mass from astral energy, and her medical degree so she might put her past life behind her and start a new life.

Having her name legally changed to Jane Gray, Marva enlisted into the Womens Army Corps and after going through training, she was assigned as a switch board operator who would often be switched out to work as a mechanic, as she showed amazing aptitude for both roles.

Working hard without complaint in her new life in the military, Marva Jane Gray faced constant ridicule and harassment from people who objected to women being in the military, holding down jobs, and just existing in general. But not about to let the slander of fools weigh her down, Marva continued to work hard and became recognized as one of the most dedicated soldiers in the army.

Marva despite a ruined career, a dead husband, and a monster of an ex, was able to push forward, having paved a new life for herself with determination.

Day 129: Jake Dough

Owner of the baseball team 'The Pups', Jake Dough is a wealthy man whose made a fortune by having one of the best teams in the sport.


However when a nasty case of influenza manages to take out his entire team right before the next big game, Jake Dough was beside himself with grief for the lost money and the chance for the playoffs lost.

Desperate, Jake puts out an ad in the paper, calling for anyone with a talent for baseball to come in to play for him, promising a reward when who should appear but Wonder Woman!

For Wonder Woman at the time was trying to raise money to save a college from shutting its doors and she said she could give Jake Dough a top quality baseball team, if he gave her $25,000. Skeptical, but not about to say no to Wonder Woman, Jake Dough agrees, with the Earl of Greed whispering in his ear that he should just pocket the money, as he didn't owe Wonder Woman a penny.

Wonder Woman would assemble a team of Holliday girls and getting them ready for the big game, she lead them as their coach, with Etta and the girls blowing the other team away! Home run after home run, the new Pups mannaged to come out of it with a substantial win, and became an instant sensation for their talents.

Jake Dough, beside himself with wonder at what he saw, felt a moment of generosity and not even noticing the voice of the Earl of Greed screaming in his ear, he ran down to the field and gave Wonder Woman a check for double the amount she asked for, and declared that if any of the Holliday girls wanted to play for his team when they graduated, he would be happy to sign them up.

With that, Wonder Woman and the Holliday girls were able to save the college, while the Earl of Greed fumed. Enraged that greed was overpowered by a sense of wonder and an act of kindness.

Day 130: Arda Moore

In the year 3000, thanks to Wonder Womans hard work and Etta Candys discovery of the life vitamin of eternal youth, the Earth is at peace! The last war ended three hundred years ago, and the world has prospered for it.

In the United States, the country is led by president Arda Moore, of the womens party. For in the year 3000, the countries politics are divided along gender lines.

President Moore has in her cabinet Colonel Steve Trevor, her military aide. And General Darnell, the chief of police. For without war, there was little need for the army. So in the end, the military was merged with law enforcment, with the focus of those former military men now centered on protecting the peace.

Though in Steves case, he is serving as the head of the presidents security force.

Opposing president Moore are the leaders of the mens party, senator Heeman and Grafton Patronage. Who lead a group of fellow 'politicians from the mid 20th century whose goal is to take away womens rights'

At this point I just want to mention that Marston would subtly include his political views at times. Its so subtle that it is practically unnoticeable!

Also, I hardly ever give him any credit, but Harry Peter, the artist of Wonder Woman really is owed alot of due for this depiction of the future which was told just as strongly in its visuals.

In the year 3000, pants have been abolished in place of skirts and speedos. Smoking has been banned worldwide, and buildings are now more cylindical in shape. The white house for example is now a series of rounded towers with rounded roofs. With a constant stream of wireless signals being transmitted back and forth between super computers that keep the worlds leaders in constant communication.

Transportation in the year 3000 relies entirely on gondola, as in order to preserve the natural landscape, gondola lifts were developed on a nationwide network, with gondola ports in every city, allowing travel to any town or such in the city.

And the president herself has a private gondola lift which will travel straight to any of the government buildings in the countries forty eight states.

For those who don't want to use gondola, horses are also a common mode of transportation in the year 3000.

Likewise, newspapers still sell very well, with news boys going around hawking papers on the streets.

One of the more curious elements of this time period though, is the existence of wearable technology that respond to vocal commands and write messages on command.

Also, thanks to the mass replication of ressurection machines making medical technology far more capable of saving people, the more unsavory of people developed laser guns in order to counteract the advances in medicine by causing physical damage to severe to recover from.

Visions of the future are always fascinating to see. They paint the curious picture of what the creators ideal future can be. (Or greatest nightmare depending on the creative.) And this is no exception.

Day 131: Dorothy Dear

Warden of a federal rehabilitation institution in the year 3000, Dorothy Dear instead refers to herself as a hostess, tending to the needs of the troubled souls who find themselves in her little gated community.

For in the year 3000, prisons have been done away with because they cause lasting psychological harm which makes rehabilitation difficult, and can cause people to fall into an endless loop of unlawful behavior.

Instead, prisons of the future are more like a walled off community. People are not locked away or put in chains. Instead, they are allowed their own rooms and encouraged to participate in group exercises. With therapists and physchologists on hand, striving to rehabilitate those who commit unlawful acts and help them to realize that what they did was wrong, and offer them more positive outlets for their talents.

Dorothy Dear, being in charge of one of these institutions of rehabilitation, personally takes time out of her day to visit each and every one of the innmates whose names and histories she has learned by heart. She is always polite, offering home baked cookies for those being rehabilitated, and always shows nothing but kindness.

The concept behind Dorothy Dear and Marstons proposed prisons of the future are fascinating, and give an interesting look to what Marston theorized as a better alternative. And knowing that he viewed the concept of prisons as being injurious for the inmates and viewed rehabilitation as vital reflects in Wonder Woman and her efforts in reforming her enemies and striving to rehabilitate them herself.

Day 132: Professor Manly

In the year 3004, Steve Trevor was approached by Professor Manly, a vaunted professor of the human condition. He convinced Steve that he has the qualities of a great president, urging him to run.

Steve, taken with the idea, declared his decision to run in the next election, which would see Arda Moore stepping down having served her two terms. And sure enough, he would instantly gain the full support of the mens party. Steve, convinced that they simply agreed with his policies, had no idea that Professor Manly in reality controlled the entire political party from the shadows, and was even now twisting it to serve his ends.

Thus, Steve ran for president on a platform calling for the legalization of pants once more! Putting an end to the fashion trend of skirts and speedos.

Also, for the restoration of the military in the event of intersteller invasion, in case their neighbors in the solar system ever decided to invade. Steve at his core, is very military minded.

And finally, for a focus on children and their welfare.

Meanwhile Diana was convinced that professor Manly was up to no good. For arriving in her office, a dying undercover cop by the name of Agent X-7 with her dying words declared that Professor Manly intended to turn the nation into a dictatorship.

Diana tried to talk to Steve but blinded by the politics of things, he ignored Diana Prince and continued in his efforts to become president. He ended up gaining alot of support among single women for some reason.

Thus with no other choice....Diana declared she herself would run for president! Quickly gaining a large support base, Diana declared Etta Candy to be her running made and future vice president.

The two of them blew everyone away. Diana, making use of centuries of epic speeches, was focused on the core issues, wanting to make the world a better place and uplift mankind.

Etta for her part was adored by all for her infectious humor and generous good nature. For Etta Candy had a talent for making herself known that nobody could rival.

Thus the election begins and initially it seems Diana Prince would win by a landslide. But then the unexpected happened! For mobbing the polling stations were thousands of goons commanded by the foul professor who mobbing the stations, proceeded to take tens of thousands of people hostage, and began churning out votes in Steves name

And just like that, Steve became president, much to the shock of all.

Meeting with his cabinet which included Professor Manly in preperation for his inauguration, Steve professed eagernes to stengthen the country and focus on security and safty. Professor Manly then decided to reveal his true nature to Steve Trevor, explaining how he rigged the election. Declaring that he owned Steve, he smugly declared that Steve had better do what he said else the truth be known.

Steve, not being the sort to aid villainy (or give into threats for that matter) Slugged the professor and tried making a run for it to warn the public, only to be knocked unconscious and locked away with the thousands of people already jailed by the bad professor.

Thus claiming to be speaking in Steves name, Professor Manly declared a heavier police presence in the name of the public safty and without informing the public, he began wire tapping phones and intercepting correspondents. Forming an agency whose sole purpose was to sniff out insurrection and to make those who resisted him disappear.

And so it was that Diana Prince herself was jailed, caught en route to the polling stations, having suspicions that something dirty was afoot.

And to the shock and amazement of Professor Manly and his cohorts, shortly afterwards, Wonder Woman somehow discovered their criminal operations and captured the whole lot of them, saving the day!

With that, Professor Manly and his underlings were sent off to rehabilitation facilities, and with the true votes properly counted, Diana Prince was declared the president of the United States, with Etta Candy as her vice president. Steve would end up returning to his job as head of the presidents security detail, with pants never seeing their return.

Day 133: Queen Andra Moteeva
A brutal dictator of the year 3700, who conquered the island nation of Primal, Queen Monteeva revels in the suffering of other women, uncaring so long as she is living comfortably.

By the year 3700, Paula Von Gunther had invented the sun globe, a device which harnesses the 'magnetic pull of the sun' to create a seemingly infinite source of energy. Installing her device into spacecraft, she had invented a means of traveling to anywhere on the planet within minutes, With travel to other worlds possible within hours. And soon, this became the common mode of travel and energy, with these clean energy rocket ships becoming something everybody owned.

And at this point in history, The Earth had unified under a single united government that had evolved from the United Nations, thanks largely in part to the great Diana Prince who leading the United States into a utopian golden age, was unanimously voted to be granted a lifetime presidency.
In this new government, each country functions as a state overseen by its own world leader, headquartered on the island of Harmonia, where the world presidents conveen to discuss matters that involve the world, and strive to improve upon their world which has achieved true gender equality.
The world government is lead by Chief Earth Electess Paula Von Gunther who bears the responsibility of leading the world as part of her length penance.

Trouble stirs however when a call for help arrives from president Serva Faith (Who im assuming is the same Serva who is Hypnotas sister.) the leader of Primal Island. Who reports that a sudden coup has occurred, led by a savage dictator by the name of Andra Moteeva.

Upon discovering this, Paula orders Diana Prince to head for Primal Island. Officially to act as an ambassador, but since she knows Dianas true identity, it was actually to see what had happened.
For this sudden revolt was wholly unexpected. As there had not been a war on Earth since the year 2700.

Thus, Diana Prince heads for the island with her security aide Steve Trevor (Who now sports a giant 'U.S' on the front of his uniform) but before they could reach the island, they were shot out of the sky with a polarizing beam. A weapon which scrambled magnetic fields, rendering the rocket powerless and sending it crashing into the ocean.

Steve upon being captured, is taken before Queen Andra who reveals her methods. Caring not for the misfortune of other women so long as she prospered, Queen Andra had lobotomized much of the islands female population and offered them as mindless servants to those who joined her cause. One poor unfortunate who dared to speak out against this dreadful woman was chained to Andras throne like a dog, capable only of barking as Andra Moteeva had made her incapable of higher thought.

For Queen Andra is a woman who sees her fellow women as bargaining chips to tempt followers, and finds the idea of equality preposterous. For so long as she sits on top, Queen Andra could care less how other women suffer.
Not satisfied with one island nation, Andra intended to extend her reach globally and eventually conquer the world. Making it into a terrifying dictatorship where she sat on top, with much of the world little more than mindless slaves.

Offering Steve a place as her plaything if he served her, Queen Andra gleefully threatened to simply lobotomize him so he would serve her regardless if he refused. Only to grow outraged when Steve declined her offer. Threatening the death of her prisoners, Queen Andra was about to kill untold numbers of people when Wonder Woman arrived, having disappeared for a time to develop a means of stopping the army without violence!
For Wonder Woman invented a chemical gas known as 'Mus Relaxo' which would render temporarily paralysis with no long term effects upon those who inhaled it, and distributing it across the island, Wonder Woman mannaged to stop the army before it could stretch beyond the shores of Primal.

With the army stopped and Andra captured, Primal would once again see peace. With the would be dictator sentenced to spend her life in rehabilitation as a nurse, so she might learn to help people and feel concern for her fellows.

Day 134: Joan White

Former secretary of Doctor Psycho, Joan White unknowingly possessed powerful untapped psychic abilities identical to that of Marva Grey.

One day Doctor Psycho had the sudden thought to look for a secretary and specifically sought out Joan White, pleased to discover her psychic capabilities.

Convinced it was his own brilliance that drew him to seek Joan out (And unaware that his actions were being manipulated by his true master, the Duke of Deception.) Doctor Psycho bent her to his will using his hypnotic powers, convincing her that he had power over her, allowing him to harness her mental power.

Poor Joan would serve as Psychos slave, doing his bidding and fulfilling his twisted wishes.

When Doctor Psycho's evil plot was stopped by Wonder Woman, and the false doctor jailed, he tried to use his power to take control of Marva and force her to do his bidding. Only for his power over her to be broken once she realized that he had no real power over her.

Thus, Doctor Psycho turned his attention to Joan White who at his command, collapsed as she fell into a deep trance.

Drawing out her power, he manipulated the astral mass she projected, allowing him to shape mental constructs on the physical plane.

With that, a prison guard by the name of 'Guard Regan' called everyones attention to discover, Doctor Psychos body. Dead after having signed a confession for all of his crimes!

Pronounced dead, Doctor Psycho was buried in the prison yard (to serve his sentence even in death) With nobody aware that the body they buried evaporated back into the astral plane once it was in the ground.

Shortly afterwards, an assassin by the name of Buenos Noches began causing havoc. Murdering government officials, generals, any women who happened to be in his line of sight. Through the use of explosives and knives. People would fire upon him but he would seemingly vanish as if he was made of empty air. Impossible for anyone to catch.

Walking into the office of Philip Darnell and Steve Trevor carrying a bomb, Buenos Noches declared smugly that he could not be stopped. That he could kill anyone at anytime and all would be powerless to stop him.

Wonder Woman appearing just as suddenly as Buenos Noches did, grabbed for the fiend who slipped right through her finger, and disappeared with the end of a thought. Leaving behind the bomb he had carried with him. With a promise to see Wonder Woman dead,


Throwing the bomb miles into the air so it would not harm anyone, Wonder Woman quickly deduced that Buenos Noches must be somehow using astral energy! But with Doctor Psycho pronounced dead and Marva miles away, Diana was unsure of what to do.

So she called Etta, asking her to investigate if Doctor Psycho had any helpers. And with that, Wonder Woman headed for the prison to check on Psychos body, to confirm that he was truly dead.

Digging up the coffin and finding it to be empty, Wonder Woman is suddenly shot at by Guard Regan, who revealed himself to be none other than Doctor Psycho!

Thus began a dangerous game of cat and mouse as Doctor Psycho went after Wonder Woman. Being astral, Wonder Woman could not harm him. And she could not slip into the astral herself without leaving her body undefended. Thus Wonder Woman was forced to dodge, deflect and avoid Psychos attempts on her life, powerless to fight back against a virtual ghost.

Meanwhile however, Etta Candy had discovered that Psycho had a secretary who had been shipped to the hospital. Coming in to visit her, Etta immediately recognized it for a hypnotic trance and used techniques taught to her by her by her psychology professor Professor Stimulus, freeing Joan from Psychos power!

And with that, Psychos stolen astral form evaporated, with his hold over Joan broken and the villainous misogynist was left powerless. With Wonder Woman easily able to capture Doctor Psycho and hand him back to the prison.

As for Joan White, now freed at last of Psychos power, she went on to try putting her life together. Eventually getting a job as the deans secretary at the Holliday college.

Day 135: Giganta (Golden Age)

Very different from her modern age interpretation, Giganta started out as an eight hundred pound, nine foot tall gorilla in captivity at the New York Zoo. The largest known ape in the world, Giganta was a curious specimen to the scientific and ecological community.

Trying to breed her in order to produce more giant gorillas, Giganta soon had a child but tragedy struck as due to unexpected health complications, the poor thing passed shortly after being born.

Grief stricken, the gorilla became quiet and closed off. Huddled in her cage in mourning.

This drew the attention of Dotsie, Steve Trevorss young niece as they were visiting the zoo. Thinking the gorilla was hurt, Dotsie slipped into the cage to check on the poor thing before her uncle Steve could stop her.

Seeing the small child, Giganta imprinted upon Dotsie and became convinced that this was her child and grabbing Dotsie up, she began to mother over the young girl, refusing to let her go.

Panicking, Steve reached for his gun (Because Steve ALWAYS keeps a gun on hand, even when hes taking his niece to the zoo. ^^; ) And is about to shoot the gorilla, only to be stopped by the zoo keepers, who insist that they can retrieve the girl without being harmed.

However when they try to do so, Giganta becomes enraged, convinced that they are trying to steal away her child! Grabbing a wall of her cage, she tears the bars from their supports and with one fantastic leap, Giganta had left the zoo entirely!

Steve chasing after the gorilla intending to kill her, is soon outpaced by Wonder Woman who discovering the problem, rushed to the scene. Tracking Giganta, Wonder Woman eventually finds herself at the Holliday college, where Professor Zool was showing off his evolutionary machine.

Giganta leaping into the building through an open third floor window, paused, thinking she had escaped her pursuers, only to be confronted by a dozen Holliday girls lead by Etta Candy who seeing a nine hundred pound gorilla holding a crying child, dog pile the huge behemoth in order to save Dotsie!

Giganta easily throwing them off, began to make a run for the window, only to be stopped by Wonder Woman who commanded the gorilla to put Dotsie down in her native language.

Giganta, screaming that she would not surrender her child, attacked Wonder Woman and using her 'maternal might', overpowered Wonder Woman herself and sent the heroine flying!

In the end it took the combined might of Wonder Woman with her magic lasso, Etta and a team of holliday girls to tussle up the great gorilla and rescue Dotsie.

Steve, arriving on the scene, declares Giganta to be a danger to children and demands it be put down and despite Gigantas value to the scientific community, it seemed her days were met. That is until Professor Zool offered an alternative, to use Giganta for his experimental electronic evolutionizer to test its effectiveness.

Everyone agrees to this alternative and using the machine on Giganta, the nine foot tall, eight hundred pound gorilla transformed into an eight hundred pound, nine foot tall woman!

Released from her bindings as everyone assumes she is pacified now that she is in a human form, Giganta immediately lashes out, trying to kill Wonder Woman so she could steal back Dotsie, to be reunited with the young girl she thought to be her child!

Still having the strength she possessed before the transformation, Giganta saw Wonder Woman as a monster and was determined to destroy her no matter what! Only to be thwarted once again. Eventually she would be further evolved through the use of hyperatomic energy, developing a higher intellect and the ability to speak english, but her hatred of Wonder Woman would not die down.

The experience would cause Giganta to develop a mindset and philosophy that the strong bullied the weak, and took a malicious glee in bullying and hurting others, which filled Giganta with joy after having her child taken away from her in what she viewed as bullying.

Giganta is one of Wonder Womans mightiest foes, and with a delight in spreading misery to the point that she even refers to her own acts of brutal strength and violence as evil, she makes for one of Dianas most morally twisted adversaries.

Day 136: Doctor Frood

A psychiatrist at the Greenland sanitarium in Greenland City in Greenland, Doctor Frood is a mental health physician who specializes in the treatment of patients who have been put under the sway of mind control and mental suggestion.

How does he do this? Why, through mind control of course. For studying hypnotism in medical school, Doctor Frood came to the conclusion that to fight mind control, you have to use mind control. And thus, he uses the mental powers he developed to take control of a patients mind and hypnotises them...Into not being hypnotized. essentially exerting his own influence to overthrow the influence of others with the mental arts.

He also strives to find a means of using his mental powers in search of a way to cure insanity itself, convinced that if he could just find a way, it would be possible to reprogram the mind to make someone perfectly functional.

The questionable ethics of this aside, it does make for some interesting possibilities. Id suggest sending him to Arkham asylum to try his luck there....Except that feels like an origin story waiting to happen...

The idea of a doctor existing out there who specializes in helping people suffering from mind control is a fascinating one. As is sticking him in Greenland. (The least supervillainy place in the world as far as I can tell.) I can't help but wonder at a series revolving around Doctor Frood and his efforts at aiding people who have suffered at the hands of Doctor psycho, Hypnota and other fiendish telepaths out there.

Day 137: Queen Eeeras

Queen of the country of Aurania, Eeeras is one of the seven foot tall Atlanteans. Noted for having both a ruthless nature and a desire to protect her people and do well by them, Queen Eeeras is simultaneously a great ally and a terrible foe.

For in the distant past, Atlantis was a grand continent in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. And when a terrible tragedy occurred in the form of two mega volcanoes, the entire continent sank beneath the waves as terrifying amounts of molten lava poured down from these great mountainous volcanoes.

However miraculously, an air bubble formed over the continent of Atlantis as it sank into the water and as the continent sank beneath the waves, the lava cooled, sealing the continent away within a bubble of rock. Thus what was once the Atlantean continent now rested on the ocean floor. All that is save for the tops of the two mega volcanoes, which now peaked above the sea in the form of two identical mountains.

An ecological marvel, the continent of Atlantis thrived. Thanks to a powerful current of air which traveled through one of the volcanoes, and exited out the other, forming a perpetual wind tunnel. This has the curious side effect of making one of the islands constantly expelling powerful gusts of wind, while the other is constantly sucking things into it.

And the Atlanteans were provided light and warmth thanks to curious yellow rocks which now lined the roof of their cavernous continent. Providing a radiation identical to the sun, the plants and animals thrived.

The continent of Atlantis sank below the sea long long ago, in the time of the dinosaurs. So old was their civilization that they were the second such to come into existence, behind only the Amazons.

Thus when the continent sank beneath the seas, the Atlanteans took with them their dinosaurs.

According to Amazon records (and the many Amazons Diana talked to who were around for it) Atlanteans were notoriously arrogant, vain, and overconfident. For all Atlanteans posessed super strength rivaling and sometimes even surpassing the Amazons. Which they reveled in showing off in their brutish battles of physical superiority.

Queen Eeeras rules over one of the many nations on the Atlantean continent. The nation of Aurania. One of the most powerful nations of Atlantis, they are the only ones who hold the secret to pterodactyl riding. Giving them the only true means of aerial combat on the continent.

Oh and Atlanteans can't breath underwater. Because that would be silly.

Day 138: Pierre Fianti
An egotistical, misogynistic, alcoholic, mustache wearing weapons manufacturer. Pierre Fianti is a man whose made his fortune in war as a merchant of death. Gleefully profiting from the violent wars and the deaths of countless millions which he uses to line his pockets and live a life of luxury, with no care or concern for anyone but himself.

When news of the war ending reached his ears, Pierre panicked. Stricken with terror at the thought that his unending resource of money might come to an end! Thus, he began hiring agents to infiltrate worldwide intelligence agencies, with the express purpose of rooting out signs of dissent between the nations and fanning the flames to spark a world war 3, so that he may continue to reap the benefits.

Thus to aid him in his efforts at acquiring more and more money, Pierre put together an team of the worlds war profiteers. Fellow loathsome people who made their fortune on the bodies of the dead. Whose singular goal was to bring the world into endless war.

Discussing a means of bringing this to fruition, one of his agents pointed out a dangerous obstacle in their goals. Diana Prince, whose efforts at bringing nations threatens to unify the world in a state of peaceful co-existence! A concept that horrified the merchant of death whose fortune comes from selling weapons en masse.

Thus, he enlisted his secret agent Nerva to infiltrate army intelligence, and kidnap Diana Prince without anyone knowing. Most especially Wonder Woman who might somehow foil their plans. Shockingly enough however, shortly they kidnapped Diana Prince and locked her away, who should arrive but Wonder Woman to capture the entire organization!
Making their escape, the profiteers go to hide out in a little known building and just happen to come across Paula Von Gunthers secret laboratory!

Looking around for something to destroy Wonder Woman with, they instead discover an 'electro chemical space transformer' which has the effect of breaking down the composite molocules that make up the human body, sending them electronically through space, and reassembling them in a distant location.

Thinking to use this to escape Wonder Woman, they use the machine and sure enough, find themselves on Venus where gemstones and gold are aplenty. With the winged Venusians nurturing their bountiful gardens and orchards which are a part of their paradise fare.

Seeing this land of plenty, Pierre Fianti got the idea of taking it for himself and taking advantage of the fact that the people of venus have no weapons, Pierre with his machine guns and 'atomic grenades' prepared to conquer, plotting to use the resources of Venus to force a war on Earth, making him even richer.

But before Pierre could carry out his plan and murder queen Desira of Venus, Wonder Woman arrived and stopped his wicked schemes! Disarming the villainous war profiteers, it was a simple matted for the butterfly winged Venusians to capture Pierres men in their nets of magnetic gold, leading to them facing Venus justice for their crimes.

And instead of war breaking out, Wonder Woman had the chance to sit down with Queen Desira and ironing out a treaty, Wonder Woman had forged a peace treaty between Venus and the United Nations of Earth! Thoroughly foiling the plans of Pierre Fianti and war profiteers everywhere.

Day 139: Gay Lovemore

Student of the Holliday college and member of the Beeta Lamda sorority, Gay Lovemore (Not to be confused with Gay Frollick) was newly initiated into the sorority and as part of Beeta Lamdas storied hazing ritual, she was blindfolded and escorted into the maze-like boiler rooms beneath the Holliday college blind folded, with her arms tied behind her back, and with the lights shut off from the breaker.

Blindly fumbling around in the dark for hours trying to find her way out, Gay stumbled upon a trap door somewhere in that darkened boiler room and found her way into one of Paula Von Gunthers secret labs!

Looking around with much curiosity, Gay accidently set off Paulas teleporter, transporting the new initiate to the planet venus!

Wandering the gardens of the planet, Gay was in love with the captivating beauty of the planet as she explored its wonders.

For the winged people of Venus were thin of build and lacked alot of muscle, so they relied upon gifts bestowed upon them by Aphrodite to maintain their society. A means of crafting unbreakable metallic cord just like the magic lasso, but with differing properties. And used this to fashion cities like lofts, and walls to enclose parts of the planet.

The Venusians would erect giant stone walls resembling Chinas great wall around their cities and gardens in order to obstruct natural wildlife. And as a whole, they subsisted off of the fruits naturally grown from the orchards they cultivate.

Gay, captivated by the beauty of the planet declared that she never wanted to leave, but was found and reminded by Wonder Woman that she needed to return to continue her education.

Convinced, Gay Lovemore returned to Earth, but would remember Venus fondly. And would eventually return to the planet after graduating as an ambassador of the United Nations to be stationed at the Earth embassy on the planet.

The awesome space adventures of the Golden age need to make a return if for no other reason, than because it would be awesome to see trans planet politics explored in full.

Day 140: Queen Clea

Ruler of the Atlantean country of Venturia, Queen Clea is a tyrant who rules her nation with an iron fist. Craving power and wealth, Clea is an Atlantean and thus blessed with their gargantuan height, and physical strength which makes her Wonder Womans equel in physical power.

Highly skilled with the sword and other mellee weapons, Clea is a warrior first and foremost, with a desire for conquest, and a thirst for gold and slaves.

Not caring about her people so long as she stood on top, Clea would have people killed for her amusment. At dinners she would have people lowered into cauldrons of boiling oil, laughing at their suffering. And every day she would hold a coliseum event where she would put slaves unarmed, to do battle with the flesh eating giant boars of Atlantis. Reveling in their terror.

She could never be satisfied simply ruling a third of the continent of Atlantis however. So she outfitted her armies and commanded them to mow through the other nations and any who resisted would die a horrible death, with the rest being reduced to the status of a mere slave under her boot heel.

Queen Clea was an example of the female distopia. anti-feminist. With a dash of nobility elitism thrown in for a dash of flavor.

Clea was a representation of a warrior queen of a warrior nation who were closed off from the outside world because they hated the outside world, and would sooner kill or enslave outsiders than anything else.

Queen Clea was created to be a counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Ruling with hatred and leading with fear, while Wonder Woman and the Amazons led through love and compassion.

Clea would declare death or submission, while the Amazons would instead seek to mediate a conflict peacefully.

Declaring that equality is unimportant so long as she is the one on top, while Wonder Woman wishes to bring equality to the world for people of all race, gender and sexuality.

She is a warrior queen whose people know only battle, whose answer to defiance is a sword in a gut, unlike Wonder Woman who never uses a sword and would never take a life.

Queen Clea is a villian whose skill, strength and ruthlessness makes her one of Wonder Womans most dangerous foes. One who would gleefully murder dozens of people just to hurt one who dared to stand in her way. One whose only goal is sating her blood thirsty desires.

Day 141: Professor Zool

Professor of evolutionary biology at the Holliday college, Professor Zool is a scientist who posits that ones genetic code contains records of their evolutionary chain going forward and back.

Something Zool is convinced science can freely travel along.

Thus setting out on proving his dream, Professor Zool dedicated his entire career to finding a means of using science and technology to devise a method of evolving animals into the ultimate lifeforms...Humans!

Through his study, he found that of any animal, Apes were the most viable for his research, and continuing his work, he soon invented his amazing 'Electronic Evolutionizer' which 'electrifies nuclear energy' creating 'hyper atomic energy' and fires off a cascade of this mysterious energy, allowing the manipulation of a beings genetic code, sending it forward or backward in its own evolutionary chain.


The abilities of Professor Zool's are so amazing that if it is not focused on a single individual, it could potentially blanket the entire planet in its evolutionary effect. The machine can be programmed to create a 'dead spot' within its nearby vicinity, otherwise those nearby will become caught in the beam as well.

The most unusual side effect of the 'Electronic Evolutionizer' is the nature of genetic memory, and the effects it could potentially have not only on evolution, but on memory and the actions of those it affects.

Satisfied that he had perfected his brilliant invention, Professor Zool approached the college board, requesting an ape to use in his research so that he might test his hypothisis, and prove his theory that Apes evolve into humans, and that his machine can speed up a million year process and make it occur within minutes.

Flatout denied, Professor Zool glumly returned to his classes and would frequently regale his students on the wonders of his machine, mourning the could have beens and the potential breakthroughs it could have on the scientific community.

As luck would have it however, one day oppertunity came knocking and he got his hands on a test subject in the form of Giganta!

Pleased beyond words, Professor Zool giddily used his machine on her and sure enough, the giant ape turned into a giant human! He did it!

However little did he expect that Giganta would grab his Electronic Evolutionizer and chuck it out the window. The impact with the ground broke the machine and caused it to go haywire, de-evolutionizing the world and bringing about the time of dinosaurs and cave people!

After an incredible series of adventures that involved finding and fixing the machine, evolving the world to the bronze age, crafting a vessel to sail to Amazonia, and borrowing their time machine so they can undo everything that had happened after Giganta broke the device, Professor Zools device was for some baffling reason confiscated by Wonder Woman, and using the magic lasso, Professor Zool was commanded not to try it again!

And thus with his theory proven but his scientific discovery silenced, Professor Zool went back to teaching evolution, making due with a scientific paper backed by the Holliday College, proving his theory about the evolution of apes correct.

Day 142: Princess Ptra

Princess of the Atlantean kingdom of Venturia and daughter of Queen Clea, Ptra is her mothers daughter and idolizes her beloved mother, wanting to be just like her. She strives to be just as malicious and cruel as her mother, hoping to gain Clea's attention, despite the fact that her mother often forgets she even exists.

Ptra is the greatest warrior of Venturia. Its champion in fact, for Ptra strives to push herself in order to surpass her mother whose super strength always leaves Ptra lacking.

Taking her mothers dogma of greed and pleasure to heart, Ptra strives to be as merciless and bloodthirsy as possible.

With strength rivaling that of Wonder Woman, Princess Ptra is a force to be reckoned with, as she is also also unmatched with duel scimitars and the javelin which are her weapons of choice.

Ptra for her amusement, enjoys creating iron suits modeled after the people who displeased her, and fitting those poor victims inside, she will wield them into the suit, placing those living statues in the throne room, where the victim will spend an agonizing life seeing what happens, and powerless to do anything. As they are fed periodically to keep them alive as long as possible.

When Wonder Woman overthrew her mother and carried Clea off in an effort to rehabilitate her, a desperate Ptra moved mountains to rescue her mother, doing the near impossible in finding her prison!

Upon arriving and finding it impossible to get her mother away unnoticed, Ptra switched places with her mother and donned a mask to conceal her true identity, allowing Clea to escape, confident that her mother would return to rescue her.

And eventually Clea would return. Though with an army in revenge, having completely forgotten her daughter existed.

Ptra though, emboldened by her mothers appearance, struck out, and handily managed to capture Wonder Woman herself!

Later as Clea feasted in her victory, Ptra stood before the queens ensemble of soldiers and slaves, prepared to strike the killing blow to Wonder Woman, ending her efforts to better the world!

With Wonder Woman helpless, it seemed her fate was sealed were it not for Etta Candy and the Holliday girls who bursting in, rushed to Wonder Womans aid. Ptra was about to run Diana through with a javelin, only to be stopped by Etta Candy herself!

Thus Ptra would go on to be captured and sent to Reform Island with her mother, in the hopes of being rehabilitated.

Even moreso than her mother Queen Clea, I think Ptra is a villain who needs to see a return. She is tragically overshadowed by her mother (and given how little Clea appears, that says sad things.)

And as the princess of the Venturans, Ptra would make for an interesting antagonist for the likes of Wonder Woman.

Day 143: Dorothy Lord

Holliday girl and member of the Beeta Lamda sorority (I can't help but wonder if this college has more than one sorority.)

Dorothy or 'Dot' to her friends, is Eve Browns room mate, and was her first friend in the college, giving her a tour of the campus grounds.

Joining the sorority the same time Eve did, the pair of them are dear friends who are often seen together. With Dorothy vouching for Eve, declaring her reformed.

When accusations by the college dean accuse Eve of robbing the college vaults, it is Dot who steps forward to defend her, to be shortly after backed up by Etta Candy herself.

When she is not paling around with her dear friend Eve, Dorothy is on stage acting in the college theater.

Seemingly a part of the Beeta Lamda hazing ritual includes going on at least one adventure with Etta Candy. Be it going off to aid Wonder Woman in a crisis, or just going on one of Ettas spontaneous jaunts across the world, singing their entrance as they go.

Wonder Woman Character of the Day

Day 144: King Little

Distant relative of Queen Clea, this diminutive Atlantean saw the power vacuum formed by the loss of both Queen Clea and princess Ptra and staged a bloody coup, murdering the remaining members of the Venturian royal family save for Clea and Ptra who were currently on the Amazons Reform Island.

King Little was able to easily bend the people to his side. Not by being a kind person for he was just as cruel as Clea. And not by being especially intelligent or skilled or powerful or charismatic. No, what King Little did was stamp his feet, shake his fists in the air, and declared that Clea and Ptra's villiany was proof that the matriarchy was flawed, and that women in power caused ruin.

The people bought his claims and now under his command, they broke open Queen Cleas stockpile of munitions which she had smuggled into Atlantis, with plans of arming the people to war with the surface world after she had unified Atlantis under her dominion.

And with these guns, they began to mercilessly slaughter their way across the coninent to take it for themselves. But while Clea was careful, intending to enslave the people and turn them into her workforce, King Little was blinded by fear of having his power taken from him and wanted to destroy all he could.


So great was his fear that looking up at the entrance to the surface world, he became convinced that outsiders would doubtless invade so putting aside his attempted conquest, he pulled out a mighty artillery gun and began to bombard the vent to the surface world, overlooking that the extinct volcano he was trying to cave in also served as the air supply for the entire continent which he lived upon.

And he succeeded. Much to the horror of the Atlanteans who began to slowly die of suffocation. Through his stupidity, it seemed the Atlanteans fates were sealed.

That is, were it not for Wonder Woman and the Holliday girls who coming to check in on the old continent, discovered the vent had been blocked off!

Using her colossal strength, Wonder Woman rebuild the volcanic entrance and cleared out the debris, tossing it into the ocean and opening the air flow to the underground kingdom once more!

Heading down to Atlantis and discovering the cause, Wonder Woman quickly captured King Little and with the Holliday girls help, confiscated and destroyed the firearms of the Venturians, taking away the dreadful weapons which nearly destroyed them all.

And with that, Wonder Woman took King Little back to Reform Island, at this point having the complete collection of surviving Venturian royalty.

Of course, not before denouncing King Littles claims and pointing out that under a patriarchy they nearly destroyed themselves with senseless violence, and declared that a matriarchy is totally the way to go. (Though coming from one herself, Diana might be the tiniest bit biased.)

And thus with peace restored to Atlantis once more, Diana headed off, confident that nothing else could ever befall the continent of Atlantis!

An interesting thought occurs to me in hindsight that Atlantis itself could serve as a counterpart to Paradise Island. For while the Amazons of the golden age were singularly united, Atlantis is a mixture of various kingdoms and cultures. (Though we only really see two of them.) And while the Amazons are about love and peace, the Venturians are all about war and violence.

And while the Amazons wish to help the outside world, wanting to better it and make it a paradise like their own island, the Venturians fear the dangers of the outside world and feel nothing but loathing for those of the surface world.

Its interesting to think about, and I can't help but wonder how much of this informed the creation of the Bana Mighdall in later years.

Day 145: Bird and Velma Boswell

Husband and wife, Bird and Velma are wealthy war promoters who sided with Piere Fianti in his goals of causing constant war on Earth and the attempt to conquer Venus.

Having been foiled by Wonder Woman and taken prisoner by the fairies of Venus, the pair have been given 'Venusian rehabilitation'


Unlike the Amazons of Paradise Island who strive to reform wrong doers through therapy, or much of Earth where criminal deeds are punished with incarceration, the Venusians make use of mystical girdles of magnetic gold. The same material Hippolytas magic girdle and Dianas magic lasso is molded from.


The magic girdles of the Venusians instead of granting invulnerability and divine grace. Or compelling someone to obey the holder of the lasso, instead cause the wearer to feel a sense of bliss and satisfaction. Causing them to experience a sense of ultimate happiness, and erasing all feelings of want, greed, or negativity from their minds.

Instead, the magic girdles of the Venusians cause their wearers to feel a deep compulsion to obey and follow the orders of any who command them, making them servile and submissive to the wills of others, as these enchanted girdles make them feel great happiness and pleasure to follow orders.

The magic girdles of magnetic gold operate by drawing in 'soft magentic currents' from the planet, and converting them into 'vitalizing currents' it charges the body and harmonizes the brain, causing the bearer to 'bond with the pulse of Venus'

Once a prisoner is locked away in a girdle of magnetic gold, they are handed the key and informed that they can unlock it whenever they wish. However, none ever do so of their own free will, because the vitalizing currents produced by the magic girdle of magnetic gold are addictive in nature, to the point that prisoners will actually become violent if someone attempts to remove their girdles, robbing them of the pleasure provided by the restraint.

For Venusians, the magic girdles are a rehabilitation measure, as when one of the fairies of Venus begins committing criminal acts, wearing the magic girdle for a mere week will remove any willingness to commit crime and do away with a sense of wrong doing.

However for species other than the Venusians, the girdles have no rehabilitating effects. If anything, they seem to cause a negative effect on outsiders if worn for an extended time.

As displayed by Velma Boswell who upon having her magic girdle removed, immediately attempted to strangle her savior, and attempted to outright destroy the planet Venus which not long ago, she simply intended to help conquer.

The Venusians magic girdles are a powerful tool, though they certainly raise some moral questions for their use.

Day 146: Octavia

Princess of the Atlantean country of Aurania and daughter of queen Eeeras, Octavia is a young woman who felt stifled by the rules and responsibilities of her position, feeling confined to her homeland and wondered just what was out there.

When her kingdom faced invasion, Octavia gleefully took up a sword, intending to fight to her last breath to defend her homeland, only for the Venturians to be laid low without a single drop of blood spilled by Wonder Woman. Seeing this mighty heroine who was half her height effortlessly deal with the most militaristic nation of Atlantis filled Octavia with awe, and she wanted to be just like Wonder Woman.

Thus when given the chance, Octavia stole a pterodactlyl and and fled her homeland, escaping to the outside world which she had dreamed of seeing for so long!

When she arrived (happening to fly to the states) She encountered a band of criminals and seeing they meant to harm her, Octavia gleefully beat them senseless, laughing the whole time because above all else, Octavia enjoyed fighting and violence!

Finding that the outside world her people so feared was full of crime and wrong doing excited Octavia who declaring she would make the world a better place just like Wonder Woman, raised her sword in the air and just went around beating people up!

During one of her bouts, a football coach would catch sight of Octavias impossible strength and on the spot, offered her a spot on his football team. Taking advantage of the fact that Octavia rivaled Wonder Woman in strength and was twice her height, he stuck her dead center and sat back in satisfaction as the giant Atlantean plowed her way through opposing teams.

The sport was enjoyable for Octavia, though she began to crave a real challenge, wanting to fight people who could possibly oppose her.

For deep down, Octavia is someone who answers everything with her fists, who is impulsive and cares not about others, enjoying only the thrill of battle and the glory of violence.

Diana would hear about this warrior princess who gloats about being even mightier than Wonder Woman herself, and seeing the giantess, Diana has a hunch and asks her how the weather was using fluent Atlantean (because of course she is fluent in Atlantean.)

Octavia answers, not even noticing the language, outing herself.

After a quick costume change, Wonder Woman appeared and held up a picture of Queen Clea, to confirm her suspicions, and seeing that image, Octavia grew enraged and drawing her sword (which she kept on hand at all times) she cut the photo in half and began smashing the torn pieces into the ground with her blade!

Wonder Woman, exasperated by such a violent reaction asks Octavia what she is doing outside of Atlantis and when the warrior princess explains that she has come to the outside world to become an epic hero like Wonder Woman, the ambassador of peace shakes her head and informs Octavia that she was mistaken.


That Wonder Woman does not resolve problems with violence. That instead, she uses her intellect and reason to resolve conflict.

Offering Octavia a chance to learn her ways, she invites the Atlantean to join her on Paradise Island for training and Octavia agrees.

Thus the Amazonian princess flew the Atlantean princess to Paradise Island where she would train and learn.

However Octavia was stuborn, and while she had matchless body memory and physical ability, she would grow restless in lessons of the mind.

Thus, Diana decided to focus on teaching Octavia using physical lessons which would have a better chance of sinking in.

Keeping in mind Octavias impulsive nature, Wonder Woman put her through a rigorous training regime that put Octavia through challenges where her strength and combative learning were useless. And made Octavia frustratingly familiar with the celluloid pellets fired by the Amazonian tommy guns.

Soon, Octavia learned that the best offense was in fact a good defense, mastering the Amazonian bracelets. And came to understand that some problems can't in fact be resolved by punching without thinking. That violence is not necessarily the answer.

Wonder Woman introduced Octavia to meditation, and the eastern art of 'Pranayama' helping Octavia so she may learn to control her anger and violent tendencies.

Finally completing her training, Octavia makes the decision to visit her mother, having ran away from home without saying anything and now wiser, felt that she needed to let her mother Queen Eeeras know that she was okay.

Taking along the Holliday girls because they wanted to see the place, the group soon discovered the sealed off volcano and hurriedly worked to save the Atlantean people from this most terrible disaster.

With Atlantis saved, Octavia discovered the plight of the Venturian people and the dangers that could come of a violent people who cannot control their violent tendencies.

Recalling her own experience, Octavia stood before the people of Venturia and made a speech about what she learned from Wonder Woman, and that if the Venturians were willing, she would lead them, and teach them a better way.

Captivated by her regal and composed demeanor, the Venturian people unanimously agreed, declaring Octavia to be their queen, and with that, the princess of Aurlania became Queen Octavia of Venturia. Having learned at last to let go of the warriors path.

Day 147: Killer Dogan

Originally a small time crook, Killer Dogan moved up in the world after being supplied with high quality munitions by the merchant of death Pierre Fianti, so that Dogan might go on a rampage, leading to American police turning around and buying higher quality munitions to combat a more dangerous criminal element.

While Wonder Woman has tangled with crime bosses on more than one occasion, Killer Dogan stands out for the ability to avoid Wonder Womans grasp. He did so by simply not taking charge. For Dogan upon recieving those guns, realized that Fianti was setting him up for a fall, and Dogans answer was to turn around and offer them to a crime boss, offering to work for him.

But before much actual criminal activity could occur, Wonder Woman would swoop in to catch the crime boss in order to prevent violence from occuring and innocents to be harmed.

Dogan making his escape, would slip away with the crime boss's fortunes and neither he nor Fianti would be connected to the crimes.

Finding out what happened, Fianti was impressed with Dogan and soon, Dogan was flat out working for Fianti, acting as a middle man to supply guns to the scum of the criminal underworld, and constantly moving about so that efforts by Wonder Woman and Steve to end the cycle of violence would be in vain.

It wasn't until the guns stopped coming that Dogan himself stopped and finding out that Pierre Fianti was a prisoner on Venus, he put together a gang and journied to the planet to rescue his golden goose!

Upon freeing Fianti and finding out about the rich resources of Venus, Killer Dogan helped Fianti in his efforts to conquer the planet using the munitions he brought along!

Thus they did a raid upon the capital of Venus in an effort to kill their queen and shake the Venusian people.

However they had no way of knowing that Queen Desira of Venus had the means of contacting Wonder Woman and calling to her for help, the fairies of Venus were soon joined by Wonder Woman!

Arriving on the planet, she was just in time to witness the war merchants dropping an atomic bomb upon the Venusian palace, intending to destroy it utterly! Leaping onto the nuke in midair, Wonder Woman took it apart, disarming the warhead, jumping free of it before it fell into a net of magnetic gold Queen Desira had errected over the castle just in case.

With the worst of Fianti's weapons disabled, Wonder Woman went after Fianti and Killer Dogan and at last, she had captured the elusive Killer Dogan, and put an end to the last of Pierre Fiantis villainous legacy.

Day 148: Virginia True

Also known as Ginny, Virginia True is a student from the Holliday College who truly comes from Virginia.

Coming from a wealthy family like several students of the Holliday college, Virginia has a summer home in Rhode Island which she uses for wild college parties which are notorious with colleges students across the area.

Captain of the Holliday swim team, Virginia True is an olympic level swimmer and diver. Who boasts being able to dive a hundred and fifty feet. Something she would often prove as she had a diving board installed alongside the shore of her home over the ocean.

Owning her own yacht, Virginia would often move her parties out into the sea as well. Ultimately a party girl with a love of the water, Virginia shows a surprising amount of knowledge about marine biology and always keeps on hand scuba diving equipment for when the desire to explore the oceans depths catches her fancy.

While Virginia is not a member of the Beeta Lamda sorority, she is a good friend of Ettas, who shares Virginia's love of wild parties and having fun.
