Year of Wonder Woman

Day 878: Celerito

Ruler of planet Mercury and totally not a genderbent revision of a previous character, Celerito lived in a society where men and women were equel with the concept of gender inequality being an alien concept. However Celerito hearing how men on Earth treat women as slaves saw this as a great idea and getting his planets men together, they teamed up to enslave their worlds women.


With all Mercurians posessing super speed and flight, this led to the worlds women being put in chains which would keep them from flying, and fitted with collars which by remote could stranger anyone who didn't obey their will.


Celerito now ruler of the world, craved even more power and having his men don space suits, he sent them into space to kidnap women from other worlds in order to take them back to Mercury and enslave them as well.


Wonder Woman hearing word of a group of space faring Amazons going missing went to investigate, only to be captured herself. Fitted with such a collar and put in chains, she was expected to serve Celerito as a slave. Diana upon figuring out exactly what was going on flexed her neck muscles, destroying the collar and bursting free of her chains, she dug a tunnel beneath the earth where the Mercurians could not follow, proceeding to free all of the women and lead them out of the tunnels she dug to wage a rebellion.


In the end Celerito was defeated and the women of Mercury were put in charge, with those captured by Celerito sent on their way.

Day 879: Professor Profundo

Scientist bent on bettering the world, Professor Profundo made a profound development with his creation of a weather control device which he invented to be installed into aircraft in order to ensure safe flights.


The Cheetah however hearing of this, thought it could be put to better use as a tool for petty revenge. So stealing the device, Cheetah annonymously mailed cruise tickets to Etta Candy and the Holliday girls, going on to install the weather control device in a little known light house off goblin point, Cheetah lay in weight for the S.S Argossy to come by so she could create a fearsome storm which would cause the ship to smash into the reef.


The ship which happened to be carrying gold bullion was quickly evacuated and in the confusion the Cheetah lept into the ocean, grabbed the bullion, dragged it to shore, kidnapped the Holliday girls, dragged them to the top of the lighthouse which she chained them to, hid the gold bullion, and lay in wait for Wonder Woman.


Upon Wonder Womans arrival, Cheetah lept out and threatened to make a lightning bolt strike the Holliday girls unless they surrendered to which Diana simply cast her magic lasso into the air and as a bolt of lightning came down, she caught it with her lasso which grounded it safely.


Then Diana leaping up onto the lighhouse freed the girls and cheered on Etta as she ran down to punch out Cheetah for pulling this stunt.

Day 880: Balla
Amazon of Paradise Island, Balla leads one of the Amazon patrols which regularly leave the island in order to protect the peace. Off to check on 'the underwater continent of Neptunia' which is now apparently a hollow landmass containing large swathes of dry landmass and breathable air, Balla was off to check on president Una of Neptunia.

However upon arriving, Balla wound up being captured by Solo who conquered Neptunia with plans to destroy the Amazons and conquer the Earth. Using Balla and the others as bait to lure in Wonder Woman, Solo had an army lying in wait of suicide bombers, robot archers, and even planned to lead a cavalry of flying fish to battle against Wonder Woman.

However despite his efforts, Wonder Woman mannaged to capture the suicide bombers without harming them. Plow her way through the robots. Defeat Solo and his men. And rescue Balla and the other Amazons. However Solo not about to accept defeat, contacted his minions on the planet Neptune to go ahead with bombing Paradise island.

Thus Diana, Balla and the others took to space and fought off Solo's bombers, destroying their weapons and driving them away. And so it was, President Una had Solo imprisoned and made an effort to see him reform.

Day 881: Nurka
Amazon of Paradise island and scientific genius, Nurka is responsible for an upgrade to the vision sphere which allows it to view anything in the universe, not just within a limited Earth reception.

Thus with this technologixal leap rather than just patrolling and listening in for distress calls, Amazons were now capable of discovering disasters as they were happening and dispatching across the cosmos in order to save the day and help people.

Such as when planet Y was on a collision course with a sun which its inhabitants were not even aware of since they lived below ground. Discovering this, Nurka notified Wonder Woman who taking to her invisible jet, went to space to lasso the planet and move it to another solar system where it would have a safe orbit.

Or the time a space wagon train was attacked by space bandits only for Wonder Woman to swoop in and lasso the space bandits and lead their oddly horse-like spacebikes to space jail.

With Nurkas invention the universe was an even safer place.

Day 882: Morgan Tracy
The trouble shooting diplomat for the United Nations, Morgan Tracy is credited for resolving the most dire and dangerous of diplomatic disputes. Considered the champion of the United Nations diplomatic efforts, Morgan is dedicated to bringing about peace with the ultimate goal of uniting the world as a singular body.

Finding out that Diana Prince was capable of speaking every language in the world on top of being an expert martial artist with a military background who was simply serving as a tour guide for the likes of the deaf, mute AND blind association, Morgan realized this was a gross waste of her talents and insisted that Diana begin working for him.

And thus Diana Prince became an operative of Morgan Tracy, her mission being one of peace for she was to help resolve diplomatic disputes and negotiate peace between differing peoples and factions.

In short order, Diana was applauded as being an even greater talent as a diplomat than Morgan Tracy himself. Her skills of reason and efforts at finding common ground and working out differences helped to avoid wars, end disputes, and create lasting peace between nations.

And this was all thanks to Dianas abilities as a diplomat, for it was established that while her magic lasso had the power to command people to do things, the effects of the magic lasso were temporary and would wear off moments after the lasso was removed.

Day 883: Indira Gamal

Prime minister of the country of Pamanasia, Indira desiring peace and to connect her country which had previously been closed off to the outside world, attended a summit of the United Nations to officially recognize Pamanasia as a new member of the organization.


However unbeknownst to Indira, she was the target of that great Batman villain the misogynistic Cavalier who sought to put her under his thumb, allowing him to control a whole nation, his ambitions being to one day take over the world.


So sending a group of women under his sway to the United Nations building, they arrived disguised as terrorists claiming they were 'For Pamanasia!" and wielding guns they began firing wildly, making their way in an effort to kidnap the Prime Minister.


Fortunately, Diana Prince who happened to work at the United Nations was there to witness Indiras arrival and quickly changing into costume, Wonder Woman leaped in the way of the bullets, using her bracelets to deflect them into the ground.


Saving the prime minister and unmasking the 'terrorists' Wonder Woman turned them over to the authorities and was met by television news reporter Clark Kent who happened to also be that obscure superhero known as Superman.


Surprised to discover that Wonder Woman had her powers again, Clark asked her how she got them back and why she didn't tell the other heroes. Diana having developed amnesia about having lost her powers had no clue what he was talking about and discovered that she had quit the Justice League upon losing her powers and that several years had passed since then.


Clark asked Wonder Woman to meet her at the Justice League headquarters and she headed off, though when Superman arrived at the Justice League satellite, he found that Wonder Woman wasn't there even though she left before he did. Looking around, Superman would find Wonder Woman at the ruins of Mount Justice, unaware that they had changed headquarters, for Dianas memory was missing several key bits.


Being brought to the new headquarters, she would find Superman, Batman, and the others begging Wonder Woman to come back to the Justice League since she is by far the mightiest hero without question. Diana however refused, declaring that the Justice League needed to hold itself to a high standard and sighting her concerns over being capable of superheroing with such a huge gap in her memory, Diana declared that they would have to put her through twelve trials in order to prove she had what it takes!


The Justice League agreed, though after she left they secretly decided to just follow her around and count her regular superheroing as their tests, figuring if she could save the day twelve times in a row then it counted.


Thus Superman was picked to go first and flying a few miles above New York, Superman would superstalk Wonder Woman through a combination of x-ray vision and superhearing to know her every move.


Arriving home and discovering a message on her answering machine from Morgan Tracy to call her later, she called to get an assistant who told her he was at the Casbah nightclub and that he wanted her to meet him there.


Diana headed off, unaware that the assistant was really one of Cavaliers agents and that the night club had been owned by him, the criminal having manipulated things so that Morgan would take the prime minister to visit his night club, only to capture them both. For The Cavalier planned to kill Morgan, making it look like he was trying to kill the Prime Minister who would be under his control, with his plan being to also do the same to Diana Prince who would corroborate the story.


Diana heading to the night club glanced up and noticed Superman in the stratosphere looking down with great interest and had a hunch something was up. So changing into Wonder Woman before walking in, she was confronted by the Cavalier who revealed his plans.


Then revealing how he planned to take over a nation, The Cavalier revealed that he had special pheromones which allowed him to control the minds of any who breathed it in. Mocking women declaring they were born to be his slaves, he walked up to Wonder Woman declaring that she was now his.


Wonder Woman though not about to put up with any of that crap punched him in the nose, sending him backwards five feet screaming in surprise to discover Wonder Woman was immune to such things. Declaring that the sexist pig would be taken to jail, Wonder Woman proceeded to free Morgan Tracy and Indira Gamal, unaware that The Cavalier had recovered and intended to kill Wonder Woman for striking him!


Drawing his sword, The Cavalier revealed that it could fire electron bolts which he attempted to use to strike Wonder Woman from behind. However Diana easily dodging these blasts, removed her tiara and threw it, knocking the sword from his hands.


Then the Cavalier tipping his hat, revealed that the feather sticking out of it was a poison dart gun which began firing a barrage of poisonous feathered darts at Wonder Woman which she deflected with her bracelets.


With his other efforts failed, the Cavalier called in the other women he had put under his control with his pheromones and declared that they would tear Wonder Woman apart. So pulling out a snuff box he opened it to reveal a strange powder which he attempted to blow at Wonder Woman only for the heroine to blow it back at him, the chemical agent in the dust causing everyone who smelled it on him to go into a rage and desire his death even at the cost of their own lives.


And so Wonder Woman lasso'd everyone in the room, told them to sleep, and carted the Cavalier off to jail, rescuing Prime Minister Indira Gamal in the process.


And so Superman counted it as Wonder Woman passing 'the first trial of self' and thus Wonder Woman was on her way to rejoining the Justice League.

Day 884: Doctor Hans Krissen
White house advisor and doctor specializing in plague epidemics, Hans Krissen was called in to help deal with a great crisis which was affecting the whole world. A disaster which threatened to end the human race and destroy civilization itself!

The United Nations Crisis bureau on the case, Diana would be briefed on a mysterious situation. For every war and conflict in the world had ceased. Diana rather baffled by this said this was wonderful news, suggesting it was cause to celebrate. However Morgan Tracy referring to the situation as a 'Peace epidemic' cast a much dire view on things as he gave her the whole picture.

Mankind across the world has become incapable of engaging in any form of conflict or situation that sparked competition. The situation beginning two days ago, it was causing mankind to flee at the sight of confrontation. But not just war and violence, for reports were coming in of sports teams incapable of competing against one another. Of martial arts competitions leading to people simply sitting down, unable to bring themselves to strike one another.

These were seemingly small problems but it became greater with the discovery that farmers were fleeing in terror from crop blight and locusts, unable to bring themselves to battle for the sake of their farmland. Sustenance hunters unable to bring themselves to kill, were starving, for when confronted with prey, they were fleeing in terror at the very thought of killing for food.

And so if this crisis was not dealt with it appeared that the human race may very well go extinct. Meeting with Hans Kirrsen, Diana greeted him warmly for the two of them would often work together in organizing medical aid through the United Nations. However as a group of the most brilliant medical minds got together and tried to figure out a cause, it was soon becoming clear that they had no idea whatsoever.

It wasn't another nation, for with the others incapable of fighting, the one responsible would be quick to take advantage and conquer the world. And all research showed that it wasn't biological in nature, for this was affecting people across the globe who never had human contact with the outside world.

For now fearing that some might take advantage of this inexplicable epidemic, the United Nations kept the problem under wraps as they tried to discover a cure to peace itself.

Day 885: Marty Tragg
Career criminal, gangster, and racketeer. Marty Tragg has spent his life going in and out of prison from one misdeed to the next. Focused only on trying to fill his wallet with no thought to the consequences, Marty Tragg is a criminal through and through.

Getting into a car accident and smashing into a lamp post and struck by lightning on the day that the peace epidemic began, Marty stumbled away from it a bit scatter brained but more or less intact. Meeting up with his gang, Marty was shocked to find they were all reluctant to commit crimes, the very idea of violence now abhorrent to them. When Marty raised his voice and stepped forward boasting that they were the greatest criminals out there, the others cowered and Marty proclaimed himself the new leader.

But with the others incapable of committing crimes or engaging in acts of violence, Marty was on his own as he attempted to rob a bank and found security guards running away and bank tellers collecting the money for him. Police hearing the alarm would cower in the police station, unwilling to stop him.

And so Marty Tragg went on to cause a massive crime spree, amazed by how good he was doing and not realizing that it was a little to easy. Convincing himself that he was the greatest criminal that ever lived, he plotted to steal an entire plane and ransom it for millions.

Meanwhile Wonder Woman investigating the peace epidemic, headed to Paradise Island for answers only to find the Amazons running in terror from a rhinotaur. The half rhino half bull rampaging and destroying buildings was soon faced by Wonder Woman who grabbing it by the horns began a tug of war with the beast which had them traveling the length of the island before she tossed the beast into the sea, knowing that rhinotaurs became docile when exposed to salt water.

Meeting with her mother, Diana soon realized that the Amazons were likewise being affected by this mysterious peace epidemic which made all incapable of getting involved in confrontations...Save for seemingly herself.


Mulling over this, Diana was flying back to the mainland when she spotted a plane nose diving. The cause being none other than Marty Tragg who trying to steal a plane pulled a gun on the two pilots who screaming in terror, ran from the cock pit to the back of the plane, sending it into a nose dive with no one flying it.


Wonder Woman lassoing the plane, flew steadily with her own and worked to right the nose. And soon, she got it landed. Catching Marty and sending him to jail, Diana continued her investigation, Martys performance only adding to the mystery.

Day 886: Angie Blake

Activist fresh out of college, Angie Blake seeing how the world was being torn apart in constant wars and feared for the future if such violence continued. So taking up a picket sign, Angie Blake swore that she would do her part to stand up for peace and make her voice heard!


So standing with fellow activists, Angie would day and night protest in front of the United Nations building regardless of rain, sleet, or snow! Arriving more regularly than the people actually employed there, Angie was known by name to every diplomat and official who walked in and out of that place for she would confront each and every one of them, getting in their faces and demanding to know what their doing to end the wars and violence in the world with the power that they have.


Standing outside in the rain protesting in front of the UN building like usual, Angie was marching around with her fellow protesters when she managed to cut her hand on her wooden sign at the same time she was struck by lightning. Angie would wind up in the hospital, unaware that the peace epidemic had struck.


Getting out of the hospital days later, Angie grabbed up a sign prepared to continue protesting, only to find her fellow activists were to nervous to go on. Declaring that the thought of confronting people terrified them and that the whole affair was fearsome to them, the lot of them tried to convince Angie that wars and violence in the world wasn't their problem and that rather than trying to change the world for the better that they should just accept it as it is and move on.


Angie though refused to give up and heading to the UN building on her own, Angie began protesting louder than ever. Envoys and diplomats sighting Angie, turned and ran in terror at the thought of the confrontation, the activist striking fear into the hearts of any who went near the building.


This getting the attention of Wonder Woman, Diana scooped Angie up, declaring that she needed the girls help to save the world. Bailing Marty Stragg out of prison as well, she spoke to them and piecing together events, she soon realized that there was a common thread connecting the three of them.


For at a specific time, all three of them had managed to be injured and struck by lightning, somehow causing them to be immune to whatever was affecting the rest of humanity.


So using the vision sphere, Wonder Woman discovered that a robot arriving from space had landed in the grand canyon shortly before this all started, and taking Angie and Marty along, Wonder Woman headed to confront this menace!

Day 887: Cybernaut

On a distant planet which has long been erased from memory, a scientist, one of the few survivors after a devastating nuclear war which left his world in ruin saw the true folly of war and sought to save other worlds from the tragedy which befell his own.


And thus the Cybernaut was created! This four legged tripod robot was invented with the express purpose of bringing peace to the universe by traveling planet to planet, sending out 'peace waves' signals which would be detected by higher love forms creating a subconscious psychological abhorrence towards war and violence.


However for all of the good intentions put into the Cybernaut, its creator did not anticipate the fact that his invention would prevent any form of confrontation to occur, creating a situation in which whole worlds would be driven to extinction thanks to the Cybernaur and its mission of peace.


And so the Cybernaut traveled world to world, bringing peace until there was no one left and then leaving to journey yet again until coming across another world in need of saving.


Arriving on Earth and sending out its peace waves, the Cybernaut would periodically resend them for strong minds could overcome them given a certain amount of mental will. However, the Cybernaut plan did not account for people being struck by lightning while receiving injuries granting them 'confrontation powers' that make them immune to any efforts to set up psychic barriers.


However the Cybernaut was designed with self defense capabilities, for its creator so desperate to save worlds from themselves programmed his Cybernaut to destroy anyone who would attempt to end the quest for peace.


So when Wonder Woman went to confront the Cybernaut, the robot elongated its legs like some sort of stilt man and stomped upon Wonder Woman with an enlarged foot, burying her to her neck in the ground! A buzz saw coming out of its arm in order to behead Wonder Woman, Marty Tragg and Angie Blake determined to stop the mechanical monstrosity grabbed the magic lasso which had fallen to to the ground beside them and ran circles around the cosmonauts legs with it until the robot fell over, giving Wonder Woman time to dig herself out of the ground and take down the robot.


The Flash who had spent this entire time trapped out of phase with reality due to the peace wave making him incapable of confronting reality had watched the entire thing and popping up he watched as Wonder Woman using her brilliant scientific mind to reprogram the Cybernaut and had it release a counter wave, undoing the peace wave it had projected before.


And thus the Cybernaut was defeated and the Flash proclaimed Wonder Woman passed her second trial.


As for Marty Tragg, his display of heroism showed he had a chance of reforming, which led to Wonder Woman helping him to make up for his criminal misdeeds and turn his life around afterwards.


And Angie Blake returning to her life of activism was declared by Wonder Woman to be a true hero for peace, that declaration remaining with Angie for the rest of her days.

Day 888: Lord Rosewater
British ambassador for the United Nations, Lord Rosewater was a British fellow through and through who had spent the past several months in the states doing what he could to strengthen political ties between Brittain and other nations through the United Nations.

Terribly homesick, Lord Rosewater craved the British experience, tired of the woeful lack of proper Britishness such as afternoon tea and the proper scones. Diana Prince seeing how frought Lord Rosewater was for a chance to be steeped in Britishness once more.

So Wonder Woman took him to 'Hanks Pub' a British resturaunt known for recreating the true British experience in an artful way which was only possible in the hands of a Brooklynite who had mastered the posh english lilt.

So the two of them heading to the restaurant which was 'an authentic recreation of the court of Henry the VIII' to enjoy food from the only restaurant in town that actually served duck.


Unaware that the two of them were being stalked by mild mannered test pilot Hal Jordon who being assigned to take his turn following Wonder Woman around for her next trial, had taken the opportunity to sight see around New York City, a prospect which he was quite looking forward to.


So after first stopping to visit all the popular tourist destinations, picking up an 'I heart New York City' hat, boasting that he was putting the entire trip on his Justice League expense report. So following after Wonder Woman in a cab which he gave a $100 to as a tip, Hal used the power of the Bruce Wayne bank account to get himself a private table at Henrys pub from a spot where he could spy on the pair, making a point to order the most expensive things on the menu and grinning ear to ear all the while.


Unaware that the trip would take a turn for the worse as this seemingly innocent luncheon would cause a nuclear war!!!

Day 889: Hank Tudor

Resturaunt owner and Brookylnite at heart, Hank Tudor suffering from terrible financial woe and on the cusp of bakruptsy decided to turn his small time bar and resturaunt into a British themed eatery. Getting out a loan, Hank paid to have his place retrofitted to resemble an old english pub, hired on a specialist in English cuisine, and began calling himself Henry.


Determined to really sell this whole 'Henry the VIII image, Hank began touring various novelty shops for costumes and gimmicks to sell the idea when he stumbled across 'the star amulet' which was being sold by an old woman who specialized in knick knacks like crystal balls and the like. Told that it would grant the wearers wish if he came in contact with the star amulets twin, Hank bought it simply because it looked like a good prop and began ordering for things like duck in an effort to stock his resturaunt.


However his landlord coming to pay a visit in the middle of his lunch hour had Hank trembling in terror for he was six months due on rent for the place. And unaware that Diana Prince had on her person her magic tiara which happened to be the twin of the star amulet, he wished that his landlord wouldn't stop by.


And so just as the landlord crossed the street he was hit by a car, his injuries so severe that he would spend the next six months in the hospital. By the time he was admitted, Hank had recouped his losses and was able to pay off his rent.


After much trial an error, Hank realized that Diana Prince had the other star amulet somehow and encouraging her to visit again, plotted to use the wish to benefit him. However not thinking small, Hank upon seeing Diana walk in, wished to be king of the world!


Moments later the bank would call and he would be told that he was being randomly given $5000 but would have to come to collect it. Upon arriving though, he would trip, fall into the safe and get locked in to the only safe in the world which was nuke proof.


Then due to his wish, Russia and the USA began sending bombers to drop nukes on one another in order to bring about a nuclear holocaust, creating a situation in which Hank would be the only survivor of the worlds end and its king by default.


With Lord Rosewater being alerted and rushing back to the UN building to scramble in an effort to stop a world ending event, Wonder Woman changed and headed to stop the planes. Hal declaring that he was going to jump in and save the day too tried to use his ring only to find that the magic of the star amulet had somehow drained all of the power from his ring and it would need time to recharge, for the star amulet was somehow siphoning power from the lanterns.


So Hal tries contacting other members of the Justice League because he has zero confidence in Wonder Woman only for Supermans co host Steve Lombard to explain that Clark was out. Flash was on Earth 2, Batman was in space, and Aquaman couldn't be reached on his shell phone.


While Hal frantically scrambled to find heroes to save the day, Wonder Woman first stopped the Russian plane heading for the states and catching up to the American plane just as it arrived at Moscow, Wonder Woman deflected bullets coming from the plane, lasso'd the nuke and carried it up into space where it could bring no harm to anyone, wishing all the while that no one would be hurt.


And thus the day was saved thanks to Wonder Woman, with Hal declaring Diana having passed the trial.

Day 890: Diogenes Diamandopoulos

Wealthy billionaire shipping magnate, Diogenes is a man whose built his successes from a list he made as a child. A list of everything he wanted to do before he died. He graduated magna cum laude at a university. He became a wealthy billionaire. He bought his own airline. And he was on a first name basis with all the worlds leaders who saw him as a friend thanks to the hefty amount of money he would send their way.


However one item from his list all those years ago still remained unfullfilled. 'Setting foot on Paradise Island' something no man was allowed to do. Determined to complete his list, Diogenes was obsessed with making this a reality even though the stories said that doing so would doom the island and its people.



After years of work, Diogenes found the island and leading a team of men he headed there in helicopter...Only for his aircraft to destintigrate and for him to be caught in a net made out of light by the Amazons. After the Amazons discovered his intentions and laughed at his efforts to threaten them by declaring hautily that "Nobody says no to Diogenes Diamandopoulos!" The Amazons fling him away with a gravity array to the open ocean a short distance from a nearby ship which they radio'd to alert about men lost at sea. And then the Amazons moved the island, making Diogenes's efforts fruitless.


But determined not to give up, Diogenes hatched a plan to hire a group of criminals and supply them with a flying saucer. They were hired to steal a statue from a museum and to cover it in a tarp which unbeknownst to them, would coat the statue in nano machines which would allow him to broadcast a holographic image of himself and to track the location of the nano machines anywhere in the world.



So after Wonder Woman caught the criminals who couldn't name who had hired them and returned the statue, Wonder Woman was holographically contacted by Diogenes who boasted that he was going to Paradise Island so that he could set foot there and that he would use an army to fight his way to the shore if he had to!


Wonder Woman worried for the island leaped to her invisible jet and set off, only to notice on her jets radar that she was being followed. Realizing that this was a trick, Diana used her psychic powers to create projections of the Amazons and the island which she placed upon a deserted island. Setting down on it, Diana and the illusionary Amazons confronted an army of tripodal mechas, airtanks, and paratroopers, stopping each and every single one of them before they could reach land.

Meanwhile Diogenes using a submarine touched down on the island at its opposite shore and boasts that he did it, and wondered whether the whole island would sink beneath the waves, which he declared a fitting way to end ones life.

However Wonder Woman having defeated his men caught Diogenes and declared that he was on the wrong island, dispelling the mental illusion. And so the billionaire was hauled back to the states where he ended up in jail, having poured his entire fortune into that army which Wonder Woman so easily defeated.

And all of this was witnessed by Black Canary who driving after Wonder Woman in her motorcycle across town would go on to use the Justice League teleporter to arrive on the real Paradise Island to confront Diogenes, only to find out Wonder Womans plan via the vision sphere. Though she did have the benefit of being declared an honorary Amazon during her visit. After which, she declared that Wonder Woman passed the latest trial.

Day 891: Celestris Damon
High profile personal astrologer for the rich and wealthy, Celestris had gained a reputation for his incredible accuracy and tendency to make predictions that always come true, making his clients millions of dollars. In reality however, Celestris was convinced astrology was utter nonsense and had instead stumbled across an invention which siphons willpower from an unknown source and funnels it into whomever he chooses.

Thus when a businessman would come to him wanting to know if his efforts to propose a merger would go through, Celestris would assure the man it would and then use his machine to give the man the willpower to succeed. Using this so often that he was well regarded, Celestris could be swimming in a small fortune.

That is were it not for the fact that his machine had a tendency to explode in a spectacular fashion on a fairly regular basis which was quite expensive to rebuild from scratch. The cause of which Celestris was certain, came from Wonder Woman for every time his machine exploded she was flying over his building in her invisible jet.

Thinking her mental powers were shorting out his device and not realizing the truth of the matter, Celestris plotted to drive Wonder Woman out of town so that he could continue his scheme in peace. His plan for doing this involved tinkering with his machine so that it would fire 'unwillpower' beams which he would hit Wonder Woman with, causing her to feel incapable of saving the day.

This having the effect of making it so she couldn't throw her magic lasso around corners or operate her invisible jet by the power of thought, Wonder Woman was having a terrible time of it. Fortunately Wonder Woman was able to save the day even without her magic tools.

Especially good for Celestris who managing to be walking along a bridge when it collapsed, wound up being saved by Wonder Woman. The very moment causing Celestris to fly into a rage and ranting at Wonder Woman, he confessed his crimes, to which Wonder Woman rolled her eyes. For listening to his story, Wonder Woman realized that his office was on the floor below her apartment. Without revealing that specific detail, Wonder Woman declared that his machine must be drawing from her own mental willpower and that it was exploding whenever she was focusing her willpower on a specific task since it was receiving a high surge of power on those occasions.


And thus Celestris was sent to jail for endangering lives with his petty desire to make a fortune. And The Red Tornado who happened to somehow be watching the whole thing, declared that Wonder Woman passed her trial.

Day 892: Frdn and Stnm

Women from the dimension of XRO, a dimension of misogeny where women being slaves to men was considered a universal fact of life, with women forbidden from having rights and expected to live out their lives in chains.


Wanting to escape this life of slavery and suffering, Frdn and Stnm discovering that the rulers of their world would freely travel to other dimensions in order to steal from them in order to bolster their own technological advancements.


Upon arriving, the two of them were amazed to discover a world that compared to their own, was a place of gender quality. (Really grading on a curve there) and exploring this world, they soon discovered feminist icons like Minna Golden and Margaret Mathews.


Taking in everything they had to teach like a sponge, the two of them would return to their home dimension bringing with them a message of feminism and gender equality. Uplifting the common woman, the two of them would speak out against the male regime and demand equal rights, fighting against their tyranny.


Tragically Frdn would die in during one of their protests but Stnm lived on, continuing to push ahead, becoming one of the most feared and loathed people in the world by the misogynistic regime who saw their empire crumbling as their slaves began freeing themselves from under their boot.


Emperor Mchsm however was plotting to destroy this rebellion so he may ensure that never again would women be equal to men.

Day 893: Mchsm

Emperor of the dread dimension of XRO where misogyny is law, Mcshm seeing his empire which existed on the backs of enslaved women beginning to fall as they rose up for freedom and independence, saw Earth across the dimensional veils as the true cause of his empires doom.


Knowing that the rebellion was looking to the feminists of Earth for inspiration, Mchsm plotted to crush their morale by traveling to the other dimension, kidnapping the worlds leading feminists, and brainwashing them to speak out in support of the patriarchy, making the rebels idols into their supporters.


Thus under the guise of wandering beauticians, Mchsm's men traveled the world using chemical agents which would cause the victims to teleport to the XRO dimension. They would lie trapped in Mchsm's dungeon as he worked to brainwash them to serving his will.


Bonita Doolin the Irish nationalist vanished during a rally before a thousand people.

Minna Golden appearing on 'Face the press' to speak out about feminism suddenly vanished while on the air.

Margaret Mathews the wife of the attorney general who spoke in support of women being in the military just vanished while on her way home.


Wonder Woman rather concerned, began putting the pieces together and connecting the dots, wound up at a beauty parlor which turned out to be the hide out for the otherwordly criminals. But before she could react, she was hit by the chemicals herself, finding herself imprisoned along with the captive feminists.


However Wonder Woman being Wonder Woman, Diana tore the bars off the prison and led the women through the castle, tossing aside anyone who would try and stop them until she found the teleporter and began sending everyone home.


Mchsm arriving, screamed that Wonder Woman was ruining everything and that women like her were destroying the patriarchy! Diana declared that equality would prevail and destroying the dimensional teleporter on her way out, Wonder Woman would go on to track down Mchsm's men who faced with Wonder Woman would use the chemical agents on themselves to escape back to their native dimension.


As for Mchsm, shortly afterwards the women of XRO would lay seige to his castle, his empire now ruled equelly by men and women. Refusing to live in a world where equality was law, Mchsm activated his castles self destruct, blowing the whole thing to smithereens along with himself.

Day 894: Marjorie Sallinger

Old friend of Dianas, Marjorie runs a resort hotel and ski lodge in the Catskill mountains of New York. Having met Diana back when she worked for army intelligence, Marojorie counted Diana as one of her nearest and dearest friends, the two of them keeping in touch even if the two didn't see eachother as much in recent years.


Unfortunately however, neither of them could have known that Doctor Cyber digging into Diana Princes background, would seek out friends of Diana Prince to kill them in order to hurt her mortal foe. Or that she would take on their identities to use their closeness to Diana to end the Amazons life.


How she did this was thanks to a glass mask she had grafted to her face which allows her to freely change her appearance at a whim. At default looking like a mask of iron, it could freely take on whatever appearance Doctor Cyber so wished, allowing her to take on any appearance she wished to get what she wanted.


Thus killing Marjorie and stealing her identity, Doctor Cyber discovering Wonder Womans current occupation, arranged matters so as to convince the ruler of Khimyo to visit her lodge. The ruling monarch contacting the United Nations, declared she would be interested in discussing the disasrmament of her nations most dangerous weapon so long as the talks included the well known Diana Prince.


And thus Diana accepted, pleasantly surprised to note that it would be at the Sallinger hotel and looking forward to reconnecting with an old friend, unaware that this was all a trap by the dreaded Doctor Cyber.

Day 896: Princess Elaa

Ruler of the himilayan nation of Khimyo, Elaa hailing from a virtually impregnable nation which was virtually impossible to reach by land had in her day been a famous beauty. However the decades taking their tole as they are wont to do, showed her age in her appearance.


As ruler of the nation of Khimyo, she had her scientists develop a special chemical agent which would change the personalities of her enemies like some sort of psychotic pirate. With this weapon, she could threaten any nation to do as she wishes least their population turn against them. Their soldiers turning traitor in an instant.


However Elaa prizing her lost beauty over her nations military might was susceptible to temptation. For receiving a message from a 'Cylvia' Elaa discovered that there was a doctor who was experimenting with creating a special cream which used on the skin would sink below it and effect the muscles, tightening them to permanently erase wrinkles.


Told that this miracle beauty cure could be hers in exchange for her personality altering formula, she was given a series of instructions. Thus, contacting the United Nations she offered to turn over her chemical formula depending on the conclusion of her talks with UN officials. Insisting that the meeting must take place at the Sallinger lodge, Elaa was met by Doctor Cyber herself who demanded the formula. Elaa handing it over, agreed to help Cyber in her efforts to kill Diana Prince if it met being beautiful again.


Not realizing that Doctor Cyber in no way, shape, or form could be trusted for Doctor Cyber replicating the formula used it on Princess Elaa herself, causing the woman to be so enraged by her own appearance that she ripped the skin from her body, killing herself.


And with that, Doctor Cyber now possessed a formula which would allow her to alter the emotions and personality of anyone it came into contact with. Which she intended to use to destroy Diana Prince which has become her ultimate goal in life. Far eclipsing her past dreams of world domination.

Day 896: Gurstav Renault

Doctor specializing in skin and muscle, Gurstav was advancing the field of beauty with his efforts at reversing physical aging by erasing wrinkles and restoring muscles. Delving into this field in the hope of treating those with muscle trauma, Gurstav soon found that there were few interested in financing his work.


Thus, Gurstav began developing beauty treatments which could permanently erase wrinkles by strengthening the muscles beneath the skin and soon money came pouring in which he invested into his work at muscle treatments.


His work gaining the attention of Doctor Cyber, she approached him under her Cylvia alias and wooing him, convinced Gurstav to help her. Claiming her goal was to save the world from Princess Elaa's chemical formula, he agreed, also planning to treat her damaged face.


So playing his part in the whole plot, Gurstav soon discovered that he was dating Doctor Cyber when he walked in on her murdering her two henchmen whose job it was to kill Diana Prince as she arrived, but failed to even spot her as she came in, claiming that she didn't drive in and just appeared as if from the sky.


When he declared that he would have no part in her efforts, Doctor Cyber simply murdered him and dragging his body to the basement, she uploaded his brain into her 'Master Data bank' a super computer of Cybers invention which allows her to among other things, swipe the memories and information from the human brain for her perusal later.


Planning to use his knowledge later to cure her face, Cyber began using the security cameras she had installed to discover how Diana arrived and it was then that she discovered Wonder Woman dropping down from the invisible plane and turning into Diana Prince. Doctor Cyber knew that Diana and Wonder Woman were one and the same.


Realizing this, Cyber gleefully approached Diana in the guise of her old friend and guiding Diana to a guest room, she dropped Diana down into a lightless room which was at the beginning of a death gauntlet containing all manner of traps from robots to saw blades to electrified floors to lasers.


Diana getting through all of this would find the dead bodies of Elaa and Gurstav before being attacked by an army of robots thanks to the Cybernaut control system which Cyber was controlling remotely thanks to the master data bank. While Diana was distracted by this army, she would be hit with the personality altering chemical, turning her into a murderous maniac.


So picking up one of the robots, she tossed it at the computer, rendering the robots innert and unknowingly destroying Gurstavs knowledge of medicine, meaning Cybers efforts to restore her face were now lost forever. Blaming Wonder Woman once again for this, Cyber tried gunning her down only for Wonder Woman to charge at her, just as Cyber planned for she buried Wonder Woman in a vat of instantly hardening silicon gel before having her dropped off a mountain while making her escape.


Wonder Woman naturally freeing herself, fought the urge to kill Doctor Cyber, overcoming the personality altering effects of the chemical agent. But by the time she did, Doctor Cyber had escaped. With four more deaths on her hands.

Day 897: Wade Dazzle

Writer, businessman, voice actor, film producer, and American success story, Wade Dazzle is doubltess most famous for his creation of 'Jerry Mouse and Harriet Hamster' a series of books he wrote which went on to become among the first films which went on to become the beginnings of his massive multi billion dollar empire which is best symbolized by his massive theme park in Florida. 'Dazzleland'


Always wearing a 'Jerry mouse hat' which is a beany with a pair of mouse ears, Wade who is also often called 'the architect of dreams' declared it to be his mission to bring joy to the hearts of children which is why he created Dazzleland to be 'the happiest place on Earth.'


Aside from being a brilliant businessman though, Wade was also secretly a genius inventor and his theme park harbored a secret. For having created a machine which could 'wirelessly copy the brain patterns of anyone on Earth' he used that in tangent with a highly advanced machine which could create decoys which modeled life. 'Print outs' of people which using an X-ray would show to be 100% the original, and had the originals personality and memories, but would without hesitation follow any command from Wade Dazzle.


But how did he power such incredible machines? What did he use to make them work and operate? Why, he used the bio energies of the visitors of his park of course! For Waly Dazzle found that all people display a unique 'bio energy' which was an incredible unknown power. He couldn't understand what its purpose was. His copies didn't contain it. But by taking the bio energy from one person, he could use it to create ten of his duplicates...


So Waly Dazzle began using his park as a lure to draw in people, wirelessly copy their brains onto a duplicate, and getting the target alone, he would drain them of their bio energy, killing them, replacing the victim with a perfect copy who would go on to live his life. With none aware that this duplicate was a sleeper agent who with a single utterance from Waly Dazzle, would activate to do the will of Dazzleland. For no man escapes the happiest place on Earth.


But just as his empire was truly beginning to grow, Waly Dazzle came down with cancer, his beautiful machines incapable of curing it. His death seemingly at hand. However that would not stop Waly Dazzle, whose operations would continue, the man seemingly immortal.


Princesses. Superheroes. Space Wizards. Was anyone safe from Dazzle and its ever pervasive expansion?

Day 898: Jerry-6
A living anthropamorphic mouse modeled after that famous cultural icon and theme park mascot belonging to Wade Dazzle, Jerry-6 was in reality created with Dazzles duplication machine. His mind copied from an unnamed scientist, he was commanded to to refer to Wade as his father and to act the part of Jerry Mouse.

With his scientific know how, Jerry-6 managed the parks maintenance and tracked goings on through its security. Ensuring that the place was in working order and that none would realize what was truly going on. He also invented the theme parks teleporter, which would be used to replace people with their duplicates, and toss the dead bodies into the fake volcano which was filled with acid for disposing of the parks dead.

When Wade Dazzles health took a turn for the worse due to cancer, he hurriedly had invented a 'stasis machine' which would place his body into a chronogenic stasis, and used the life energy from one of his parks visitors to create a duplicate of himself, to run things until a cure could be found.

Thus taking over the role of Wade Dazzle, his duplicate determined to save his 'father' began copying the brains of brilliant doctors and scientists and placing them into the duplicates of various park mascots such as Jerry Mouse and Harriet Hamster. With the express purpose of satisfying people in the park when they were not busy at work trying to find a cure for Wade Dazzles illness.

But the Chronogenic stasis required an incredible amount of power to maintain, forcing the park to increase its consumption of visitors to fourteen people a day to keep Wade Dazzle alive. After some study, Jerry-6 came up with a solution to this which by his calculations would end the parks need to absorb further life force, and pour everything from the duplicate machine to the chronogenic stasis indefinitely.

How would they go about this? By kidnapping Wonder Woman. For her psychic powers being somehow related to the 'biological energy' which they use to power their machines, Wonder Woman served as an unparalleled source of energy.

So to lure her in, they copied her brain waves, onto a duplicate and sent it out into the wild to live her life. And so while Diana was off on a trip out of the country, the duplicate stepped in and for weeks was doing her job as Diana Prince. Was fighting crime, saving people. And for all intents and purposes the two of them were exactly the same. With the copy completely unaware that it was not the original.

So when the original arrived, both of them suspected the other of being a duplicate, leading to a battle between the two of them followed by the duplicate driven by commands it was not consciously aware of to return to Dazzleland, the happiest place on Earth.

Diana persuing, lost her duplicate in the crowds and changed into Diana Prince as she explored the park. With its many rides, full staff of performers 'in life-like suits' various historical and educational exhibits. When she caught sight of her duplicate entering 'flames of the hindenburg' a duplicate of the hindenburg explosion which people would don fireproof clothes before entering so they could see what it was like when it exploded.

Following her copy, her and another man were teleported to the laboratory containing the real Wade Dazzle and was horrified to see the mans life force being drained of its biological energy, leaving behind a withered husk as a duplicate came forward to be teleported back to the ride.

Diana having the whole situation explained to her through villain monologue proceeded to have her life drained from her, a process which was expected to last indefinitly given how much life was in her, only for Wonder Woman to hours later work out a means of escape by spinning in place so fast that the machine absorbing her life force exploded, sending her hurtling into the air.

Beset upon by an army of theme park mascots armed with guns modeled to look like toys, Diana fled to the top of the false 'Vesuvius Volcano' which was used to store the corrosive acid used for disposing of the dead bodies that piled up. Her duplicate charging at her, Diana lept into the air, catching her invisible plane as the Wonder Woman copy smashed through the side of the volcano and washed the park in corrosive acid, seemingly destroying the entire operation and the duplicates along with Wade Dazzle.

And thus Wonder Woman returned to her normal life, thinking it was done as the Dazzle company rebuilding after the destruction, announced Wade Dazzles death and seemingly was just another ordinary company.

Or was it? They would go on to rebuild Dazzleland, even going on to build another theme park in California by the name of 'Dazzleworld' And Jerry-6 who invented the teleporter was not accounted for....

Day 899: Ismene
Amazon of Paradise Island, Ismene serving as one of the islands guards, became secretly part of a splinter faction of Amazons unbeknownst to the rest of the island, who removing their bracelets, gained incredible physical prowess far surpassing the normal Amazon, but also developing a murderous rage and a disinterest in the wellbeing of others.

These Amazons replacing their bracelets with ceramic copies so that other Amazons would not realize what they had done, Ismene would lead her fellow berserker Amazons as they plotted to take power by staging a coup and killing both Diana and Hippolyta.

Swearing her servitude to her mistress Panthea whom she declared to be her true queen, Ismene making an effort to convince the others that she was their leader, slowly and quietly grew their numbers, training in secret on the far side of the island with the intent to end the lives of their queen and princess.


With Pantheas secret efforts to weaken Hippolyta diplomatically and prevent Wonder Woman from returning to the island, their scheme was under way with three dozen Amazons amongst their ranks, all without their bracelets which gave each and every one of them the strength of ten Amazons.


And so Ismene would begin the coup, doing it all in the name of Panthea who she intended to see on the throne. The Amazon who removed her bracelets and made her see the true greatness of unlimited power without limit or restriction. Free from things like ethics, morals, or a concern for others. Free to use ones power for selfish gain.

Day 900: Panthea

Amazon of Paradise Island and astronomer, Panthea ceaselessly would study the stars, dedicating her life to unearthing the secrets, the Amazon was continuously challenged by the invisible barrier around the island which makes it invisible to the outside world. Because of this, even the most advanced telescope the Amazons could devise was limited compared to those of the outside world.


So in secret, Panthea began plotting to create a pinpoint hole in the invisible barrier so she could see through it with her telescope. Crafting a device which would create a beam to pierce the barrier around the sight of her telescope, Panthea activating it...Creating an explosive force so great that it shattered her bracelets!


Without her bracelets, Panthea fell into a berserker rage and destroying her lab utterly, the Amazon began to curse the barrier, convincing herself in that maddened state that Hippolyta by cloistering them from the outside world was causing their science to stagnate and their culture to rot.


Building herself with an irrational rage when Ismene arrived, Panthea removed her bracelets as well and the two of them began plotting to dethrone Hippolyta and conquer the island themselves.


Soon a plan was put in place for Panthea using the Amazonian radar to detect aircraft approaching Paradise Island (which was currently in the Bermuda triangle) detected an American plane flying overhead. So tweaking her earlier invention, she caused the invisible shield hiding the island to become an energy shield that fluctuating a series of spikes, shot up and destroyed the plane utterly.


And then Panthea for good measure sent out a transmission pretending to be the planes pilot, declaring that the Amazons Attacked! America reacting in a panic that the Amazons would attack them began jumping to conclusions, suspecting Wonder Woman of plotting to destroy them all!


Pantheas plan was that this conflict would lead to a war, weakening Hippolytas political position and allow her to take power in the confusion. However she didn't count on Wonder Woman in an effort to defuse the situation turning herself in, thus winding up imprisoned by America.


Hippolyta trusting her daughter knew what she was doing respected Dianas choice and didn't do anything crazy like invade America with deadly bee weapons as an investigation began to discover what caused the plane to go down.


But Wonder Woman wanting to discover the truth for herself fashioned her magic lasso into a duplicate of herself which was indistinguishable from her in every way which would be capable of moving about and functioning as a separate entity while she slipped out of jail to head off in pursuit of the truth.


So following the flight path of the downed plane, Wonder Woman was surprised to discover that it did indeed stop over Paradise Island. Landing and speaking with her mother, they agreed it was quite a mystery and were about to go unearth the truth of the matter with the vision sphere when Ismene led her fellow berserker Amazons in an attempted assasination, planning to kill Hippolyta since the efforts to cause a war utterly failed.


The two of them holding off the berserkers long enough for their fellow Amazons to arrive and help them to restrain their sister Amazons, Diana spied Panthea retreating to her wrecked lab and went to pursue. Unaware that Panthea was luring Diana into a trap, intending to recreate the explosion which caused her bracelets to shatter, with the hopes that it would kill Wonder Woman.


However Diana realizing what was going on, lunged forward, grabbed Panthea and holding the berserk Amazon over her head, Diana ran out of the lab as the entire building exploded.


And thus with Hippolytas permission, Wonder Woman took Panthea back to the states to answer for her crimes in an American court of justice and Diana was cleared of all suspicion since she saved their lives so many times that they kinda owed her one.

Day 901: Edward Sulivan

His real name buried to obscurity, Sulivan is the name of a man appointed by President Ford to lead 'SOS' the 'Spies on Spies' Playing the role of the United States security official for the United Nations who would be officially working to spy on things and alert the Secret Service to any dangerous goings on that would need their attention.


In reality however, Sulivan was the head of a top secret spy organization. But not one meant to spy on criminals or one meant to spy on foriegn powers or innocent citizens. Sulivans 'SOS' was an organization create for the express purpose...Of spying on the various spy organizations, 'shadow puppeteer rulers of America/the world', and others of their ilk.


For it was a known fact that secret spy organizations were more numerous than grocery stores. Every president in the countries history had founded at least one secret spy organization which was meant to report to them and them alone even after they left office. With mysterious government funding that would never be noticed. And that various other branches of the government, private companies, and cults also set up their own spy organizations.


It had become so clustered that it was frankly impossible to tell whether or not a spy organization was working in Americas best interests or if they were in reality some foreign power sent to destroy the country and simply posing as one of the nations many many spy agencies.


So in a desperate effort to curb the excessive organizations, get them under control and get an official tally of how many there are and who they report to, 'Spies on Spies' was created. Sulivan put in charge of doing this, soon came to look down on those spies organizations with disgust, declaring their "Mostly run by grown-up kids mad with power who think they rule the world"


For these spy organizations with no accountability for what they do since it is all off the record, more often than not start taking to using their resources for their own personal gain. With their efforts bent towards trying to strengthen their control of things in an effort to dominate the world.


The most interesting thing about them to Sulivans amusement was that none of these secret organizations seemed to know that the others existed. Operating in a vacuum with no idea that they were faced with competition. And so it was up to Sulivan to keep an eye on the various spies and if any organization stepped out of line, it was up to him to remind them who their supposed to work for and whose paying their bills.


In order to accomplish these goals, Sulivan would of course have his own agents who reported to him in an effort to keep the spies in check. Spies such a Steve Trevor who going by the alias of Steve Howard after coming back to life, approached Sulivan looking for work, thinking Sulivan simply spied on the United Nations, not realizing this was a cover for his real work of spying on spies. And so Steve came to work for Ed Sulivan.

Day 902: Maximus
The self proclaimed 'Emperor of Hollow Mountain' Maximus was secretly the worlds greatest businessman and politican. Possessing half of the worlds money through various dummy accounts through banks he owned with none the wiser that he even existed, Maximus puppeteered the worlds economy to dance to his whims.

However for all of his ability and power, Maximus craved the chance to succeed in fields which he had previously failed. So thinking on it, Maximus was determined to overcome his greatest flaw and become the most liked person in the world. For despite all of his skill in making money and supposed super genius, Maximus was an unlikable pompous ass which nobody could stand to associate with.

But rather than attempt to take ettiqute classes or get a speech coach, Maximus had his mysterious servant Flavius who is never seen, construct a series of automatons who looked identical to him and sent them around the world to be wealthy philanthropists who would try to make him look good.


Fortunately by being cold monotone unfeeling robotic figures, they were ten times more likable than Maximus. But not enough that Maximus could be considered popular and beloved by the people.


So being the logical fellow that he is, Maximus's solution was to have Flavius invent a machine which would steal the charisma from others and put it into himself. Thus his plot was to go after Wonder Woman, the most charismatic individual in the world.


So converting his hollowed out mountain into an elaborate trap, Maximus had Flavius create a machine which disrupts all communications in order to lure in Wonder Woman and steal her charisma. The plan fails however with Wonder Woman breaking free so Maximus with a dejected sigh has the mountain blow up and has Flavius provide him with a bag of miraclo and teleport him away, intending if Wonder Woman survived, to beat her up and try again, only to get socked by Steve Trevor before he could use his Miraclo.


Wonder Woman catching up lassos Maximus and declares shes taking him to jail to the shock of the sputtering Maximus who attempts to call for Flavius to save him using his wrist communicator which was likewise destroyed as he is taking away to jail. And due to his efforts of anonymity with his wealth, it was impossible for him to use his finances and connections to escape.
