Year of Wonder Woman

Day 706: Vincent Brian
World renowned artist whose work is considered priceless beyond compare. Known for seeing beyond the surface, he could capture the true essence and personality that was hidden from the world.

Contracted by the government to do a poster for a bond drive, Diana Prince was ordered to pose for the poster as she was a high ranking member of army intelligence. Thus Diana went to his studio as he drew her for a poster which would be valuable beyond compare since he drew it and as Vincent starred at Diana trying to capture her true essence onto canvas he realized it and began drawing.

Time would pass and upon finishing it, a curious Diana went to look and was shocked to discover that he had drawn none other than Wonder Woman! For Vincent declared, he could see into the hearts of all to know their true selves and behind those eyeglasses was someone who carried themselves with complete assurance and poise. She had the heart of Wonder Woman!

Declaring that this would make him millions and that he would be world famous, Vincent announced that he would run to the papers and sell his information for a quick buck, making the painting in his arms were a large fortune!

Diana attempted to reason with him, convincing him that it was impossible for her to be Wonder Woman but Vincent was 100% convinced for his was a talent for seeing into the souls of his models and he knew her to be Wonder Woman beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Diana followed after him trying to convince the artist that he was wrong and when they arrived at the newspaper office they found the editor chatting with none other than Wonder Woman!

Shocked by this, Vincent looked between what was in reality Robot Wonder Woman being secretly controlled by Diana and Diana Prince herself, and realized that it was impossible for them to be the same person when they were standing right next to eachother.

Thus Vincent went on to submit his poster design which was well received because Wonder Woman.

Day 707: Duke Bale

Evil tyrant and ruler of the planet Moonworld, Duke Bale was a villainous fiend who conquering Moonworld, went on to rule with an iron fist, taking anything of value belonging to the people and leaving them to meek out a meager living under his iron boot.

However though Duke Bale held absolute control of the planet with his fearsome armies and the people have long given up even the thought of resisting him, he was still nervous due to the great prophesy. For existing on Moonworld was a fabled blade known as the Moonsword. A legendary weapon that was ever prophesized to save the world in its time of need. Only the chosen hero may draw it and only when the world was in a great enough need to warrant it.

Duke Bale aware that he was little more than a petty tyrant, feared the Moonsword for not only was its fabled powers steeped in legend, but it would prove to those who serve him that they were the bad guys, leading to his entire military crumbling with soldiers knowing that the wielder of the Moonsword always saves the day, would effortlessly strike them all down.

Thus concocting a plot to ensure that the prophecy would never come to pass, Duke Bale first attempted to hammer the sword from its pedestal. Then he attempted to destroy the sword with the most powerful of hammers and anvils. When both of those efforts failed, he dug around the pedestal until he had a giant block of earth. Then getting his most powerful sorcerer, he had the enchanter send the pedestal and the moon sword hurtling into space like a comet, confident that with it cast off into the stars, it would be impossible for a hero to find it.

But as these prophesies tend to do, things took a turn when the comet flying through space crashed upon the planet Earth. Scientists studying it attempted to use jackammers. Explosives. Even hitching a chain to a jet, but nothing could dislodge the sword from the stone.

Wonder Woman hearing of this, sought out the curious discovery and seeing the sword, she naturally pulled it out of the stone. The moment she did, glowing letters appeared on the blade. 'Whomever pulls this sword from the stone, please save the Moon people of Moonworld'

Wonder Woman not one to deny a request from a magic sword took to her invisible plane with the Moonsword in hand and flew off into space, landing on Moonworld. Upon arriving, Wonder Woman was greeted by the people of Moonworld who stared at Wonder Woman with awe, declaring that she had arrived to save them and rule their world.

Wonder Woman however declared that they needn't rely on someone else to do their rescuing for them and encouraged them to stand up for themselves and to rule themselves through love and peace. But seeing they were terrified of Duke Bale and to frightened to stand against him, Diana decided to do this much for them and went to confront the wicked duke.

Upon seeing a hero wielding the Moonsword, the soldiers under Duke Bales command turned and fled, declaring themselves done with Duke Bale for they knew they would be doomed should they face the wielder of the Moonsword. And thus just like that, Duke Bales entire army was gone, leaving only the Duke himself.

Upon seeing Wonder Woman, Duke Bale protested, declaring the sword must be a fake, for he had sent the Moonsword off into space. And thus he challenged Wonder Woman to use the swords three great powers.

And thus using the Moonsword, Wonder Woman cut her name into a pool of water, the cut remaining despite the laws of physics.

Finding an air current she holding the sword in the air, began to float on the wind, spinning like a tornado.

And being presented with a stone pillar, Wonder Woman sliced through it with no effort for the sword could cut through stone.

With that, it was proven to be the true Moonsword beyond the shadow of a doubt and Duke Bale immediently surrendered, knowing he was doomed regardless. And thus Wonder Woman convinced the people of Moonworld to form a democratic government and placed the sword into their worlds throne where it would remain until Moonworld needed the Moonsword once more.

Day 708: Invisible Plane

The semi transparent airplane which Wonder Woman uses to travel across the world in mere moments, traverse the length of the universe in a matter of minutes with its ability to travel through space, and fly even into the heart of a sun. For the special nature of the invisible Planes design makes it immune to all forms of heat and energy, making it likewise impervious to lasers and radiation. The Invisible Plane is also gifted with a special computer brain that allows it to think for itself, and to receive telepathic commands from Wonder Woman. Possessing a ladder, a grappling hook, even tractor beams powerful enough to move a white dwarf star. The invisible plane had incredible abilities.

Wonder Woman hearing how the Capital Museum had been suffering from low attendance decided to do what she could to help them and finding that they were doing an exhibit on various famous vehicles throughout history. Such as the worlds first submarine. The first automobile. The first jet. The oldest known prairie schooner, and the oldest known prairie schooner.

Thus Wonder Woman offered her invisible plane to the museum and attendance jumped to the point that a line went around the block of people waiting to get in. Now after the people had left for the first day be it due to some previously unknown telepathy shared between vehicles or some mysterious Egyptian tablet they had lying about, the various vehicles at the exhibit began talking to one another, curious about the popular newcomer in the invisible plane and appearing skeptical that it belong among them.

Hearing demands for the invisible plane to explain why it belonged amongst them, the Invisible Plane explained that it was Wonder Womans sidekick dedicated to helping her save the day! And began to regale them with tales of its various adventures. Such as the time it traveled with Wonder Woman to destroy an iceburg that threatened to split an ocean liner in two. Or the time it evacuated an island full of people from an errupting volcano or the time it rescued a group of people falling off a bridge with its extendable net while Wonder Woman stopped a band of criminals.

The other vehicles were skeptical of the stories the Invisible Plane was describing to them and said as much, but then came Snatcher, leader of the Snatcher gang who hearing about the invisible plane being on display, decided to steal the plane to go do crimes!

However when they attempted to do so, the invisible plane alerted Wonder Woman with its telepathic alarm, and then flew off to jail, dropping off the attempted hijackers to the long arm of the law before flying back to the exhibit once more.

Day 708: Suzie Violet

A child living in the poor destitute part of town on River Street, where times are tough and people must scrimp and save to get by. With her birthday approaching and her parents to busy working to keep a roof over their heads, Suzie did what any child in need would do and wrote a letter to Wonder Woman asking if she would come.

To the shock of pretty much no one, when Wonder Woman got that letter she declared that she would make it a party like no other! Flying to the street, Wonder Woman got every child in the neiborhood to attend as she brought with her a four tier cake and a grand feast to the delight of all.

Wonder Woman would then proceed to perform incredible stunt after incredible stunt. Seeing how cloudy the day was, Wonder Woman cast her magic lasso into the sky and catching the clouds, she pulled them down to the ground so the children could play on them under the bright sun.

Seeing how their homes were in disrepair, Wonder Woman in a manner of minutes ran off, returned with a large pile of lumber over one shoulder and chopping boards in half and punching in nails, Wonder Woman repaired their homes so they looked as good as new!

Then seeing how dead the grass was and how lacking in plants their street was, Wonder Woman collected seeds and planting them, caused fields of flowers to bloom along the street and in every yard.

Wonder Woman would then proceed to perform amazing acrobatic stunts using her incredible dexterity, leaping through her own lasso until the party was over, leading to her flying away in her invisible plane.

Day 710: Rakko

Criminal master of magnetism, Rakko like all criminals sought to defeat Wonder Woman so he could commit as many crimes as he wanted. How would he do this? Through magnetism! Specifically, Rakko worked out a method that allowed him to make anything non-organic magnetic. And he would use this to defeat Wonder Woman.

So using a giant generator to power his magnetizing ray, Rakko began by making Wonder Womans boots magnetic, intending to stop her in her tracks while he sent his men to rob a bank! Wonder Woman stuck in place spied the robbers and simply threw her magic lasso three blocks away and around a corner, and caught them, dragging them to her for the police to apprehend.

Furious, Rakko then magnetized the magic lasso and had his men go after Wonder Woman to end her life! However Wonder Woman using her magic braclets not only deflected their bullets but deflected the bullets right back to knock the firearms from the criminals hands for the police to aprehend and place in the rapidly filling paddy wagon.

Having nearly run out of men, Rakko then magnetizes Wonder Womans braclets to the Earth, stopping her in place as he goes to confront her, declaring she was doomed as long as his generator was running! Hearing this, Wonder Woman began to laugh at a supersonic frequency that caused the generator to explode and the criminals to fall to the ground in pain, putting an end to Rakkos scheme as him and tthe last of his men were carted off to jail.

Day 711: Billy Cloud and Elizabeth Cloud

Married circus motorcycle acrobats known as the Flying Clouds, Billy and Elizabeth were talented performers who did things on motorcycles that few would even dare to attempt. Be it driving across a tightrope to diving through rings of fire to driving on the sides of a giant bowl that spun around the circus tent. No stunt was to daring for the Flying Clouds!

However tragedy would strike when while attempting to do a motorcycle leap from one trapieze platform to the other, Billy Cloud mannaged to fall and crash, coming out of the accident terribly injured and needing months to recuuperate. Left shaken and afraid of even attempting stunts, Billy became a circus rodeo clown while Elizabeth attempted to carry on their motorcycle stunt show on her own. However the stunts being designed for two people,were simply not the same.

One day Wonder Woman visiting the cirus saw Billy the Rodeo Clown struggling to wrangle a bull which had escaped and refused to go back in its pen. Seeing how disheartened Billy was, Wonder Woman let him borrow the magic lasso and trying it out, Billy was able to catch the bull and command it back into its pen.

Proceeding to do a series of lasso tricks with the lasso to the amusment of the crouds, the retired motoorcycle stuntman was filled with inspiration and begged Wonder Woman to let him use it one more time for a special show.

With Wonder Woman agreeing, Billy went to the circus master to convince him, then went to Elizabeth to plot it out and practice with her. And then later that day, the Flying Clouds entered the big top on motorcycles which had their rubber tires removed and revealed the magic lasso which had been arranged around the big tent. Doing corkscrews into the air, loop de loops, and twirls in the air.

The Flying Clouds depending on how indestructible the magic lasso was, then proceeded to drive at high speeds along the thin rope of the magic lasso, performing death defying stunts one after another to the awe of the crowds!

And once it was done, Billy having overcome his fear, declared that he would go on to find new and creative stunts to attempt!

Day 712: Professor Manton

Inventor of a thousand inventions, Professor Manton was a scientist dedicated to his work and obsessed with it and nothing else. Frustrated by the distractions that came of other people and civilization in general, Professor left, declaring he would advance science to new heights on his own without meddlesome people to distract him!

Ten years would pass with no word from Manton, with many assuming him either dead or sitting on some brilliant invention which would change mankind. He wouldn't be found until one day, Steve Trevor was flying over a previously unmapped part of the ocean and discovered an island. Before he could chart it from above however, he found himself attacked by a giant bird three times the size of his plane! Radioing in that he was making an emergency landing, Steve crashed offshore of the island and swam to escape giant fish that were fifty times his size that attempted to devour him!

Upon arriving on the shore, Steve avoiding the dangerous giant animals came upon a giant robot which spying Steve, grabbed him up and placed him inside of a giant cage which also happened to contain none other than Professor Manton!

Steve asking what Manton was doing there was surprised to discover that in order to escape civilization, Professor Manton headed for the one area most devoid of humankind that he could find, and soon found himself focused on nothing but survival. Needing to keep himself alive, Professor Manton built a giant robot programmed to protect humans. However the robot seeing everything as a threat, deduced that the best way to keep Professor Manton safe would be to put him in a cage which he could not escape, provide him food, and keep him away from sharp objects or tools to aid in his escape. Thus in that cage Professor Manton remained.

However not about to let Steve vanish without a trace, Wonder Woman decided to investigate! Flying to the island and diving into the sea to avoid the giant bird and then drilling underground to avoid the giant fish, Wonder Woman arrived at the island to discover the situation!

Knowing the robot would chase them down, Wonder Woman grabbed the cage and took off in her plane, flying low to the ocean. The robot following, it had almost grabbed the cage containing Steve and the professor when the giant fish leaped up into the air, catching the robot in its mouth! As it did so, the giant bird spying it caught the fish and flew back to its nest, allowing Wonder Woman to make her escape.

And thus Professor Manton realized his foolishness in trying to avoid civilization and went back to the hustle and bustle of the cities and the safety of civilization once more.

Day 713: Jovian Wonder Woman

The hero of the planet Jupiter, Jovian Wonder Woman was a jovian giant who bore an uncanny resemblance to Wonder Woman. Though lacking a magic lasso, she possessed bullet proof bracelets and was larger and supposedly even stronger than Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman flying through space in her invisible plane one day winds up being attacked by Jovian hummingbirds that flew up from Jupiters atmosphere to attack the invisible plane, mistaking it for a fly.

Caught by a hummingbird and carried down, Wonder Woman was saved by her Jovian counterpart who spying the miniature Wonder Woman plucked her from the birds mouth. Grateful, Wonder Woman thanked the Jovian promising to one day return the favor to which the Wonder Woman of Jupiter scoffed, appearing skeptical that someone so small could possibly help her.

However later while Wonder Woman was busily repairing the invisible plane, the planet would be invaded by Jovian space bandits who lived on a massive asteroid! Capturing the Jovian Wonder Woman and the worlds leaders, they boldly declared they had conquered the planet for themselves!

Wonder Woman however not about to let this stand, got an idea and climbing into the ear of the bandit leader while he was feasting. She whispered that she was part of Jupiters invisible army and that they had come to capture the space bandits!

Panicking, the bandit leader ordered his men to kill the invisible intruders leading to much sword swinging at the empty air. As the bandits began to grow skeptical about the existence of an invisible army, Wonder Woman leaped onto the table and picking up a custard pie the size of a stadium, she threw it into the bandit kings face and with a booming voice she declared that the bandits were helpless against them!

Panicking, the bandits fled Jupiter to return to their asteroid and Wonder Woman broke her Jovian counterpart from the dungeons, to the awe of the Jovian Jupiter who thanked Wonder Woman for saving them.

Day 714: Jesse Brown
Elementry student and stuborn youth, Jesse Brown was given the school assignment of taking a photo album and filling it with photographs of a topic that interested him. While John Dodge photographed various athletes and Susan Shaft photographed automobiles, Jesse Brown had an empty album.

The teacher disappointed asked Jesse why and he explained that he was determined to photograph Wonder Woman but it was very hard to get a photo of her since she was constantly running around. Given one more day to complete his assignment or fail the lesson, the day continued until class ended and Jesse left the school only to be found by Wonder Woman who was informed by one of the school children of Jesse Browns problem!

Offering to let the lad take a picture of her right then and there, he insisted that it needed to be pictures of Wonder Woman saving people. So Wonder Woman took Jesse with her on her adventures and seeing a building on fire Wonder Woman climbed up the building and began pulling people out and lowering them to the ground with her lasso. Jesse unfortunatly though, couldn't get a photo of Wonder Woman through all the smoke.

Then a man fell into an open manhole into the sewers so Wonder Woman leaped down to rescue him which Jesse couldn't photograph either since Wonder Woman was out of his line of vision.

Finally Wonder Woman called her invisible plane, had him climb inside, and let him take pictures from the sky with the plane following her as he photographed her foiling a robbery with an amphibious boat. Rescuing a ship which ran aground. And saving a mountain climber who had fallen.

By the end, Jesse Brown had a full album of Wonder Womans exploits and got an A+ for his project.

Day 715: Bird-man

Hero of the bird people and consort of their ruler Queen Taru, Bird-man like all his people were humanoid in appearance but man and woman alike wore knee length skirts, leather bikinis, feathered helmets and wings made of streamers which allowed them to fly.

Living within giant bird houses on Birdfolk Island, an isle noted for the massive mountain at its center which was perpetually covered by a fierce electrical storm which would kill any who attempted to pass through it.

Living in peace and subsisting on fish and bird seed, things seemed quiet and content on the island...Until a sudden unprovoked attack from above! Rocks began rolling down the mountain, crushing their villiage and destroying their homes! And then in a confusion, a metal net lowered down from the massive cloud that had always hung above their heads and began scooping up the bird people, pulling them into the clouds above until all were captured save for Bird-man!

Enraged and swearing to rescue his people, Bird-man attempted to fly into the thunder storm in pursuit of the lost queen, but found himself forced to dodge bolts of lightning. In his efforts to avoid the lightning, Bird-man wound up miles out at sea and exhausted, he began to plummet into the water below, into a school of hungry sharks.

Wonder Woman spying this from many miles away swam to Bird-mans rescue and spinning her lasso over her head like a helicopter, she began flying into the air and caught Bird-man who wailed that he deserved to die for failing to save his people. Wonder Woman not having any patience for such talk however carried the crestfallen member of the bird people by the scruff of the neck back to his island, declaring that they would rescue the bird people together!

And so began the team up of Wonder Woman and Bird-man

Day 716: Reena
Amazonian astronomer of Paraside Island, Reena studies the celestial bodies, taking advantage of her longevity to chart the stars path in their fullness. One day discovering a missile headed towards Earth of mysterious origin, Reena calculated its trajectory and the rotation of the Earth, discerning that in seven days it would arrive on the planet Earth and crash a short distance from the shore of Paradise Island.

Alerting Wonder Woman, Diana would make a note of it and keep in touch with Reena daily, waiting off the shore of the island on the very hour it was calculated to arrive soo that when it crashed into the ocean, she could swim down to investigate.

Within the rocket was an invitation for Wonder Woman to the Interplanetary Olympics, which would take place across every other planet in the solar system and was to begin that very day, the rockets arrival calculated to corespond with the olympics themselves.

Wonder Woman not one to refuse a challenge took to her invisible plane and flew off first to Mercury to engage in a foot race! There she would meet the Wonder Woman of Mercury and race upon a planet which was incredibly hot on one side of the planet and incredibly cold on the other half.

Wonder Woman struggling to outpace her Mercurian counterpart because her shoes kept sticking to the ground, fashioned her magic lasso into a wheel and began running atop the magic lasso like a giant wheel, winning the race because thats apparently within the rules.

Then Wonder Woman would travel to Venus for a swimming contest and meet the Wonder Woman of Venus who was faster than Wonder Woman in the water. Thanks to the loose set of rules involving these olympics, Wonder Woman proceeded to dig a trench in the middle of the swimming pull, moving at super speeds to create a pathway for herself, her digging efforts allowing her to outpace her Venusian counterpart.

The final leg of the olympics would take place on Jupiter where Wonder Woman would compete with her Jovian counterpart in a weight lifting competition which was difficult because with Wonder Womans height, the judges couldn't tell she was lifting anything off of the ground. Thus Wonder Woman turning her magic lasso into a set of stairs, scaled them with her weight, winning every game in the olympics.

Day 718: Queen Taru

Ruler of the bird people, a race of humans who can fly and live in bird houses upon Bird people island, Queen Taru along with most of her people were tragically captured one day by a fearsome being which lived atop the storm covered mountain at the center of their isle.

That fiendish villain? Why it was none other than the great eagle. Centuries old bird and possibly the oldest Eagle in the world, it was five times the size of a plane and lived off of the bounty provided by the 'Storm tree' a massive tree which was miles high, its branches blooming storms which would break off, floating out into the world.

Able to see through the storm with its keen eyes, the eagle spied Queen Taru and her people with envy and launching an attack, it captured them in a net with a long extendable pole and then proceeded to lock each of the bird people away in cages attached to the branches of the storm tree.

When all seemed lost for Queen Taru and her people however who should arrive but Wonder Woman! For having spun her magic lasso fast enough to both create a force field that repels lightning and propel her into the air like a helicopter by spinning it fast enough, Wonder Woman pierced the unnending storm to confront the Eagle on his home turf atop the mountain!

The great eagle seeing this attacks Wonder Woman who attempts to lasso the beast but the eagle instead catches the magic lasso and then dives for the kill! Wonder Woman dodged, hanging onto the magic lasso as the Eagles momentum carried it down into the storm where upon it proceeded to be struck by powerful lightning, killing it!

With that, Wonder Woman climbed back up the mountain and freeing Queen Taru and the bird people, she made her magic lasso take the form of a gondola to safley ferry the bird people down to the ground below and safely through the storm.

Queen Taru out of gratitude for Wonder Womans deed then proceeded to gift her with the Eagle crest on her costume, establishing how Wonder Woman came to have the eagle crest in the silver age continuity

Day 719: Mr. Scragg
One of the millionaires from the millionaires club, Mr. Scragg is a rich do nothing whose passtime is complaining about Wonder Woman and how much he disliked Wonder Woman.

Getting into yet another argument with his long time rival Mr. Merriweather who happens to be a huge Wonder Woman fan, the two of them decided to settle their differences by betting one million dollars each to determine whether or not Wonder Woman could tuly do anything. With Merriweather declaring he would donate the money to charity and Mr. Scragg gloating that he would just pocket it.

The two settle their bet and decide to challenge Wonder Woman to do a stint of babysitting for the next 24 hours! Upon discovering that the money would go to charity if she won, Diana naturally declared that she was up to the task.

Thus given a folder containing three children in need of babysitting Wonder Woman read the first one and was surprised to discover it was a beached whale that had washed ashore early that very day.

Hurrying to its aid, Wonder Woman found the whale was thrashing about wildly, making it impossible to provide aid. Thus Wonder Woman defly avoiding the whales struggles, she discovered a Narwhal tooth piercing its tail and removed it, treating the poor thing.

Taking the whale off to sea and helping it to recover, Wonder Woman proceeded to care for the dear until she could find its mama, reuniting their family once again.

And thus Wonder Woman completed the first of her trials much to Scraggs frustration.

Day 720: Jimmy King

Young lad with a love of knights and chivalry, Jimmy dreamed of being like King Arthur and rescuing people and doing knightly things~ Thus carrying around a pot lid and a cardboard sword he would run around in pursuit of imaginary monsters to the mockery of his peers.

Wonder Woman taking pity on the child conspired an idea and crafting a sword and placing it inside of a meteor, she tossed it into Jimmys back yard, much to the awe of the children of the neighborhood who all tried to pull it out, leading to a small procession of strong men and the like to also try their luck to no avail.

Jimmy taking his turn moved to draw the sword, not noticing that the invisible lasso had burrowed through the bottom of the meteorite and was holding the sword to keep people from removing it. Wonder Woman removed the lasso, allowing Jimmy to draw the sword much to the awe of the other children.

Thus Jimmy proclaiming himself a great hero swore to run around and do good~ And as luck would have it a woman was walking across the street when an out of control car was driving right toward her! Swearing he would save her, he ran into the street intending to push her out of the way! Wonder Woman needing to save them both, cast her magic lasso which was coiled like a spring and upon reaching the two, bounced them out of the vehicles path, making it seem like Jimmy had saved her.

Shortly afterward, a criminal on the run from the law cut through that little neighborhood in an effort to escape the police. Jimmy getting it into his head that he could save the day ran after the criminal who shot at Jimmy, the bullet breaking the sword in half. As Jimmy ran at the man, declaring he wouldn't stop even without a sword, Wonder Woman moving at superspeed, ran ahead of Jimmy, deflecting bullets then moving before she could be seen, doing this until Jimmy reached the criminal and then knocked the villain over with none the wiser for the police to apprehend.

And thus Jimmy was seen as a hero.

Day 721: Mr. Merriweather

Wealthy philanthropist and fan of Wonder Woman, Mr. Merriweather frequented the millionaires club where he made a wager with fellow millionaire Mr. Scragg wherin they both bet a million dollars to prove whether or not Wonder Woman could do anything.

Their contest being a challenge of epic babysitting proportions, Wonder Womans second challenge had her caring for a baby elephant which somehow found itself trapped atop mount everest which the two millionaires somehow got wind of.

Wonder Woman flying to the Elephant in her invisible plane, wove her magic lasso into a sling to airlift the elephant from the mountain, carrying it back to its native home of Africa where Wonder Woman proceeded to reunite it with its mother.

Her final challenge the most difficult however, Wonder Woman had the task of babysitting...A baby T-Rex which was frozen in a block of ice in Antarctica Carefully thawing it out and bringing it back to life, Wonder Woman was faced with a carnivorous T-Rex which wanted to eat her whole!

However Wonder Woman seeing this simply leaped upon the T-Rex's back and proceeded to ride it like a rampaging bull to calm it down. The T-Rex flailing and running trying to knock Wonder Woman off managed to fall into the Arctic Ocean where it threatened to drown! Wonder Woman grabbing the T-Rex, carried it above the water and proceeded to swim to South America.

The T-Rex grateful for Wonder Woman rescuing it became obedient, and Wonder Woman proceeded to teach it right from wrong, not to eat humans, and to live with love and kindness.

Raising the T-Rex to adulthood, Wonder Woman left it to thrive in South America where it thrived. And thus, Mr. Merriweather won his bet with Mr. Scragg, leading to two million dollars going to charity thanks to Wonder Woman.

Day 722: Bungo

Owner of the circus of Wonder, Bungo was in reality a criminal fiend who would devise means of drawing lots of attention to his circus while his gang of trained fiends would loot the cities they travel to, taking advantage of everyone busily attending the circus.

Thus heading into town and intending to also distract Wonder Woman so she could not catch his thieves, Bungo went and hunted down six women who happend to look identical to Wonder Woman and happened to be capable of incredible feats!

One of them was capable of doing a hand stand on a roller skate and skating across a high wire without a net.

The second of them could ride a bicycle, leap with that bicylce upon another bicylce, repeating that trick five times and ride around the big top on a stack of bicycles.

The third one could using her feet hold up two with her feet which a pair of tigers woulld jump upon, and get the two tigers to compete in a barrel based log roll!

The fourth of them could hold her breath underwater for half an hour and while doing so, could thread a needle and proceed to sew together a hankerchief with 'Wonde Woman' emblazoned across it.

The fifth was super strong and could punch holes through solid steel with one finger.

And the last of their number was capable of running up vertical glass walls that stretched forty feet.

Bungo boasted that one of them was the real Wonder Woman, challenging people to guess which one and Diana annoyed by this, insisted on attending the circus herself to dispute this claim.

Bungo counted on this and when Wonder Woman walked on stage to dispute his claim, Bungo was ready and challenged Wonder Woman to walk the tight rope which Wonder Woman could easily accomplish.

Diana agreed and walking the tight rope, she couldn't help but noticed that Bungo had electrified it, as part of a scheme to trap her. Pretending injury, Wonder Woman fell into the net below and waited as Bungo had the circus clowns carry her own and attempted to shoot her, giving Wonder Woman the proof she needed to deflect the bullets and capture the lot of them, taking them to jail.

Day 723: Jane Smith
Actress of some renown, Jane Smith was hand picked to take on the role of Wonder Woman in a movie which boasted it would require the actress to do all of her own stunts even if it cost her her own life. With the movie boasting that half of its revenue would go to charity, Jane Smith with grim determination was insistent on charging through these dangerous stunts irregardless.

However what Jane Smith did not know was that this was all part of an insidious plot by J.B, the producer. Who knowing Wonder Womans love of helping charities and her conviction to helping those in need accomplish neigh impossible tasks, staged the entire film Jane Smith was doing as part of an elaborate effort to record Wonder Woman herself sneakily aiding Jane Smith in her stunts, turning the focus of the film into a tell all reveal of Wonder Womans actions.

And thus the movie began with false cameras set up to record Jane Smith, with Wonder Woman invited as a guest to watch the film being recorded, and a watchtower set up with hyper lense cameras which allowed them to focus on Wonder Womans every move.

And thus the movie would proceed with Wonder Woman secretly helping Jane to survive death defying feats such as leaping from a car falling from a ravine and surviving unharmed. Riding a lion through a burning building. And deflecting live bullets being fired upon her from a group of men with tommy guns.

The final stunt had Jane Smith confronting a giant robot however due to an accident on set, the robot fell into the watchtower! Wonder Woman quickly moved to rescue the fillm crew inside of the watchtower, but the film was lost, with J.B bemoaning that he no longer had a film!

However Wonder Woman revealing that she had worked out the producers ploy from tthe beginning, pulled a micro camera from her tiara, and explained that she was recording Jane Smiths film herself, leading to Jane making it big as Wonder Woman.

Day 724: Professor Negdra

Member of the Alphas, one of the two races which lived on the star of Alpha Negdra, Professor Negra along with his people fled the sun when the other species of the planet, the Phengs in an effort to attempt a mass genocide of the Alpha race, destroyed the sun, turning it into a frozen lump of metal in space, killing themselves in the process.

Returning to the dead sun to collect his research from the remains of his lab, Negdra ran afoul of the sun destroyer, a deadly massive robot which burrowing to the center of the sun, had been eating its metal mass to grow in size so it might proceed to destroy the universe with its ability to create supernovas.

Wonder Woman traveling through space happened to notice bright light coming from the dead star and went to investigate, running afoul of the robot and escaping into the fortified laboratory of professor Negdra who explained to her what was going on.

Thus Wonder Woman confronted the robot which attempted to destroy Wonder Woman with a super nova explosion which Wonder Woman deflected with her bracelets, the blast hitting the robot and destroying it along with the remains of the sun.

Fortunatly, Professor Negdra escaped during the battle, and in gratitude for this rescue, he awarded Wonder Woman with a great artifact of his people, the 'necklace of freedom' however since the Alphas were so much shorter than Wonder Woman, the necklace barely fit around her head, thus she chose to instead wear it as a tiara.

And thus thats how Wonder Woman of the silver age got her tiara.

Day 725: Time Master

Also going by the alias 'Ty M. Master, Time Master is an entity which exists in a 'time dimension' in which all time exists simultaneously, meaning he exists in the mortal realm whenever he chooses down to the millisecond.

Identified for his purple robe, the Time Master is a powerful entity whose mastery over time is seemingly unmatched. An ability which he uses like some sort of trapper to alter time to his whim, entrapping people within his temporal schemes.

Noting how Wonder Woman was seemingly invincible and how she would throughout all of time protect the Earth from anything which would endanger it, concocted a scheme which would trap Wonder Woman outside of time forever, removing her from history.

And so, assuming the alias of Ty M. Master, the Time Master caused a fun house to appear in Frolic Park, with the declaration that if Wonder Woman attended as its first customer, all future proceeds would go to charity~

Thus it becoming a date for Steve and Wonder Woman, the pair of them headed for the fun house, the pair coordinating with their silver age communication rings which they both wore to keep in contact with one another.

However upon entering the fun house the exit they entered from vanished, and they were surrounded by an uncountable number of mirrored doors. The Time Master revealing himself, gloated that Wonder Woman was trapped there forever.


Wonder Woman attempted to grab him, however the Time Master faded out of existence when she tried, gloating that what seemed like a mere moment for her to leap for him was an eternity as he perceived time. Declaring that he was behind one of the closed doors, he challenged Wonder Woman and Steve to find him, warning that they would run afoul of his time traps for every wrong door they opened.

Thus with no other option, Steve and Diana began opening doors, which took them to moments removed from time which the Time Master had placed in his pocket dimension, each one meant to end Wonder Woman.

A pterodactl attack in the time of the dinosaurs which Wonder Woman overcame by lassoing a comet which allowed them to evade the flying reptiles.

A whirlpool in the middle of the ocean during the era of pirates which Wonder Woman overcame by simply swimming herself and Steve from its clutches.

A distant future in which the Earth was being destroyed by a flying saucer which Wonder Woman defeated by throwing her lasso around the saucer and then up into the stormy sky, electrocuting it with thunderbolts.

The pair of them began second guessing themselves, hesitant to try another door for they had no idea which ones they already used or which one the Time Trapper could be behind. It was then that Wonder Woman realized the truth.

Vibrating her body at super speeds, Wonder Woman began moving THROUGH the mirrored doors without opening them, going through one after another until she discovered the Time Master who cursed Wonder Woman for seeing the truth behind his trick.

Wonder Woman explaining to a confused Steve that the Time Master specified that he was behind 'one of the closed doors' thus he was no longer behind a door when it was opened. So the only way to find him was to enter a door without opening it.

And so the Time Master declared Wonder Woman victorious and returned her to her own time, the fun house collapsing around Steve and Wonder Woman, forcing them to flee.

But that was not the end for this all powerful temporal entity with a penchant for trapping people. Far from it in fact.

Day 726: Rega
Amazon of Paradise Island and Heralder, Rega is charged with the important responsibility...Of watching Wonder Womans adventures through the vision sphere and commiting them to paper using the medium of comic books which are then distributed to children around the world!

The Amazons were having a great celebration for they were on the verge of the one hundredth issue of Wonder Woman! The whole island was celebrating with a massive parade, a festival, and a time capsule prepared which would contain the first one hundred issues of Wonder Woman to be preserved for generations to come!

However the one hundredth issue was held back by the most dire of situations! For...Nothing of note had happened for the past month to make a one hundreth issue out of. Oh Wonder Woman stopped a few robbers and saved a man lost at sea, but nothing that would be note worthy enough for a one hundredth issue.

Diana conscious of the need for a great event to herald this noteworthy occasion was distraught for there was nothing she could do and she could hardly wish for a disaster to take place for the sake of something as measly as a comic book.

But suddenly such a great disaster did indeed take place! For a massive earthquake hit the world, forcing Wonder Woman to leap to action, saving people in need. The resulting Earthquake going on to cause a massive tidal wave which threatened to wipe out Paradise Island!

Wonder Woman flying to Paradise Island, picked up the island and raced it above the crashing waves, saving the Amazons in the one hundreth issue of Wonder Woman.

Day 727: Wonder Woman of Dimension X

A Wonder Woman from another universe known as Dimension X, Wonder Woman X hailed from a world based on fairy tales where she ruled a magical kingdom from a massive castle which housed the citizens of her entire kingdom.

A woman of magic unlike the Diana we know who was a woman of science, Wonder Woman X was a practitioner of the mystical arts who relied upon an invisible carpet to fly upon and the power of magic to do things such as crossing dimensional barriers.

Discovering the existence of the other universe, Wonder Woman X out of desire to face someone who would prove a challenge to her, arrived on Paradise Island on the day Diana was continuing the yearly practice of defending the title of Wonder Woman from those who would seek to claim it, aware that Diana would do her best to keep her status as Wonder Woman.

Thus the two women of wonder competed in a trio of events to show their worth. The first being to show ones feats of balance by doing a performance of acrbatics while doing a hand stand upon an errupting geyser. A contest Wonder Woman X came out victorious to the shock of all, for never had a challenger defeated Diana in even one contest before.

The second contest had them racing across a five mile track of burning candles without snuffing out the flames. A contest in which Diana came out the victor.

For the final challenge, Wonder Woman X transported the both of them to her magic wooded western kingdom for a challenge of 'skill and wonder' when it came under attack once again by the giants of the north. A persistent foe of this earths Wonder Woman which would regularly travel south in an effort to slay the populace and conquer the world as their own. A menace which forced this Earths Wonder Woman to construct a castle so massive that it could house a kingdom, so she might keep the populace safe as she regularly drove them back north.

Diana declaring she would help, worked with her counterpart who lacking a magic lasso, resorted to simply picking up trees and lobbing them at tthe invaders, proceeded to gather up the giants in her lasso, haul them north, ran to the border between the land of giants and the land of humans, and proceeded to construct a massive wall which would seperate the north from the south so that they might never assault the humans ever again.

Wonder Woman X awed by this, declared Diana the winner of the contest and thanking Diana, declared her the true Wonder Woman before sending her back to her home dimension.

Day 728: Gadget Maker

Supervillain with a mastery of gadgetry, the Gadget Master uses his mad science to creat things such as killer robots and shrink rays, disguising them as innocent items one would commonly carry around like some sort of spy.

A box which shrinks its contents to the size of a coin regardless of its original size. A time machine disguised as a grandfather clock. A tiger statue that can come to life and devour intruders. A laser disguised as a monocle. The Gadget Maker is a fiend whose talent for disguised gadgetry is unmatched.

Offered a large sum of money to put an end to Wonder Woman, the Gadget Maker invented a trio of giant solar powered toys modeled after animals and placing them inside a jewelery box, he had it delivered anonymously to Wonder Womans best friend Diana Prince, requesting that she give it to Wonder Woman.

Diana curious, opened the box to see a toy horse the size of a coin and picked it up, only for it to immediently grow in size to the height of a lifelike horse, pull Diana upon it with a magnetic ray, and smashing through the wall, began galloping down the street as a timer began clocking down, with the horse headed for the town square.

Wonder Woman calling her invisible plane, lasso'd it as it flew by and took to the air with the horse and disabling the magnetic ray, she carried the horse off into space and threw it moments before it blew up.

Returning to collect the box and examine it, Wonder Woman was horrified to discover Steve had found the box and picked up another toy inside of it, causing a giant vulture twice the size of her plane to emerge from it.

Wonder Woman lasso'd it and pulled it out of the building before it could cause any damage and then proceeded to grab Steve and the box, carrying them off as she took flight in her invisible plane, noting that the bird was following her.

Luring it to a volcano and taking advantage of her plane being capable of withstanding such heats, she dived into the volcano with the giant solar powered vulture following after, and came back out as the toy melted from the intense heat.

Wonder Woman then noting the third and final toy inside the box was a shark, pulled it out of the box and tossed it into the volcano even as it began enlarging to something nearly the size of the volcano itself, only to be destroyed by the volcano errupting.

Wonder Woman then getting an idea decided to climb into the box to investigate so sticking a foot in she found herself shrinking in size until she was mearly the size of a coin. The box snapping shut then flew into the air and headed straight for the Gadget Maker, to confirm Wonder Woman had perished for the toys were programmed to return to the box upon completing their mission.

Curious which of his toys succeeded in their task, the Gadget Maker opened the box only to find himself lasso'd by Wonder Woman, his criminal ways brought to an end.

Day 729: Tara

Amazonian photographer of Paradise Island, Tara is dedicated towards photographing important moments in Amazonian history, those moments immortalized in the Amazonian Institute which serves as a museum of sorts for the Amazons history.

Using a time machine to record such moments as the Amazons arrival on Paradise Island and the Amazons very creation, Tara was so dedicated to recording these moments of Amazonian history that she would freely come and go from the island to do so.

Declaring Diana and her adventures as Wonder Woman themselves to be an important moment in Amazonian history, Tara would travel to and from Paradise Island with Wonder Woman to photograph her adventures since in the Silver Age there was no law against it.

Thus Tara would join Wonder Woman as she attended the New Moon festival on Pearl Island or the Aurora Borealis viewing at the North Pole, doing her uptmost to record Wonder Womans actions and using her incredible speed, strength, and dexterity to keep up with Wonder Woman and capture these amazing feats on film.

Yet even with all the abilities possessed by an Amazon, Tara still struggled in her duty for Wonder Womans adventures would often put her in situations such as being in the middle of a blizzard or with a tidal wave crashing down upon her which would make it impossible to film her feats.

Yet despite that, Tara carried on in her mission.

Day 730: Cave Boy

One of the primitive humans of Planet Dinosaur, Cave Boy was a common example of the local people who humanoid in appearance, live upon a planet where Dinosaurs continued to thrive. Thus with such dominant predators in existence, humanity never had the chance to get a foothold as the dominant species of the planet and advance beyond their primitive society of olde.

The dinosaurs continuing to evolve over the millennia would become capable of surviving in any environment. Thus pterodactyls and other flying examples of the species would take off into space and riding the solar winds, would raid other worlds for food and fly back to their home planet to feed their young.

This would go on for years until the pterodactl would make their way to Earth and attempt to consume an entire city for that very purpose. However beaten back by Wonder Woman, the dinosaurs fled back to their home planet with Wonder Woman in pursuit in her invisible jet.

Investigating the planet and discovering the cave people fleeing from a tyranosaurus rex, Wonder Woman carved a flute out of a tree and declaring Dinosaurs to be the distant ancestors of snakes, began to use the techniques of a snake charmer to lure all the dinosaurs of the planet to one of the continents and proceeded to construct an elaborate cage, enclosing the entire continent so that the dinosaurs would not be capable of wandering into space and would give the humans of dinosaur planet a chance to assert themselves.

Then noting Cave Boy possessed unique qualities for leadership and innovation, performed an Amazonian mind meld in which she used her telepathic powers to instill in Cave Boy all of her knowledge. The lad suddenly capable of perfect english, thanked Wonder Woman and declared that he would usher an age of peace and understanding and help his fellow man to stand tall.

Day 731: Orana (Silver Age)

Amazon of Paradise Island and rival of Wonder Womans who believed Hippolyta was biased towards her daughter Diana in the contest to become Wonder Woman. An event heralding the fourth retelling and first full on reboot of Wonder Womans origin. A dark time brought about to appease those who decried Wonder Woman as a threat to the patriarchy and would destroy all of civilization as we know it.

This origin establishes the Amazons to be house wifes in ancient Greece whose husbands all went to war and died, including the human male husband of Hippolyta who was Wonder Womans totally male guy parent because Wonder Woman not being made with the help of a guy was considered offensive.

The silver age origin would go on to establish that Athena and Aphrodite popped up to bless the baby with knowledge and beauty equal to their own. With Mercury popping up just because he was curious what the others were doing. Dropping his hat, Mercury moved to pick it up, only for Wonder Woman as a newborn to move faster than Mercury and catch his hat, handing it to him. Awed, Mercury gave Wonder Woman speed equel to his own making her more than twice as fast as Mercury.

Hercules who has no other association with the Amazons in the Silver age pops up because he was curious what the others were doing and spying the baby Diana he peers down at the baby, curious what the fuss was all about, only for the newborn Diana to grab Hercules by the beard and toss him out the window.

Storming back inside, Hercules declared that even he couldn't have done such a thing at that age and gave Diana strength equel to his own, making her more than twice as strong as Hercules.

With all the menfolk dead, the Amazons bemoaned that it was impossible for them to survive and thus they must sail to a new land to escape the war which was approaching their city. So the Amazons prepared their belongings, intending to build a ship, only for the young Diana to construct a Greecian galleon within seconds. Complete with a fresh coat of paint, sails, and rigging.

Thus the Amazons sailed away in search of an island paradise but along the way they encountered a dreadful whirlpool that threatened to swallow the ship whole, thus the tiny Diana leaped out of the ship with a rope and pulled the vessell away from the whirlpool.

Then the ship encountered a burning ocean so the child Diana spying a distant ice laden mountain peak swam to the isle hosting it, rolled up a giant snowball and threw it at the ocean, putting out the flames.

Finally they encountered a mist that rendered all who breathed it in unconcious so the Amazons all fell asleep save for the child Diana who through willpower alone sailed the ship until they reached Paradise Island. There, Aphrodite declared that they sailed through the mists of eternal youth, making them immortal.

Years would pass and the Amazons being all brilliant scientists and philosophers would instill in Diana all worldly knowledge including how to speak all languages by studying how to speak them. And time would pass until one day the unspecified gods bid the Amazons to send a champion out into the world to aid it. The blond haired silver age Hippolyta was gleeful to send Diana out into the world and declared that Diana would compete as well, much to the contention of Orana who declared herself more talented than Diana, and accused Hippolyta of favoritism.


In order to avoid this, Diana suggested they all wear masks, and the contest began in earnest.

First the Amazons were split into two teams in a tug of war to pull a derigible over their line. With all the Amazons posessing super strength this became a fierce contest which was one by the team wich Diana and Orana were on, disqualifying the other Amazons.

The second contest called for log riding down a waterfall, with anyone falling off of their to be disqualified. A contest only a dozen Amazons succeeded in.

The third contest was bullets and arrows, with arrows being fired upon Amazons with an Amazon failing to deflect them with her bracelets being disqualified until only two contestants remained.

The final contest was Diana vs Orana in a staff fighting competition on a tight rope above a crocodile pit. A contest which Diana won and proceeded to dive into the pit to rescue Orana, making her the winner.

The Amazons congratulated Diana, and were about to prepare a means for her to get to the mainland when Steve Trevor arrived as one is wont to do by crashing towards the island. With men forbidden to set foot on the island, Diana revealed her ability to glide upon wind currents which she used to go up into the air, catching Steve as he was coming down and carrying him off to the mainland before he had a chance to even see the island in question.

And thus Diana became Wonder Woman and this iteration of Orana would remain upon the isle.
