Year of Wonder Woman

Day 348: Athena (Golden Age)

Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, Athena was a compatriot of Aphrodite, who would aid the goddess of love in her efforts to better the world. Posessing a vast wealth of knowledge and untold years developing the necesary wisdom to use it properly, Athena is all about logic and reason. And thus logically knows that humanity must embrace love and peace least they be destroyed in never ending war and conflict.

Thus when Aphrodite created the Amazons, Athena appeared before them and proceeded to bestow upon them her knowledge and wisdom. Not by waving her hand and making them instantly smart, because such a thing would not be true knowledge for there is no short cuts on the path of knowledge.

Instead, Athena sitting the Amazons down, proceeded to teach them about writing, maths, and the basics of physics and language. She taught the Amazons how to create and maintain a vision sphere, a device which allows for the viewing of Earths history within the past, present, and future.

Once they had a good foundation for knowledge, Athena bid the Amazons to continue learning. Continue studying and strive to find the true meaning of things. She declared that they cannot blindly accept pre-concieved notions as fact, and challenged them to research and draw their own conclusions.

And thus the Amazons took Athenas words of wisdom to heart and began studying the world, its history, and the nature of things. Guided by the pursuit of knowledge taught to them by Athena, and the ethics of love and peace instilled in them by Aphrodite, the Amazons would go on to invent time machines, learn every language in the universe, unlock the secrets of space travel and form relations with other planets.

And all of this would have been impossible had Athena not aided the Amazons in unlocking the true power of knowledge.

Day 349: Kara

Amazonette of Paradise Island, Kara is a wee child who was born from clay fashioned by her mother Alta. Having many children to play with as several Amazons also bore their own children from clay, meaning Kara had many other children to interact with.

When it was discovered that her mother Alta had vanished and that she wound up somewhere on the mainland, Kara was beside herself with worry for her mother.

Finding out that Princess Diana intended to head to the mainland in search of Alta to rescue her, Kara sought out Wonder Woman before she could depart the island and begged Diana to let her join in on the search for her mother. Kara rationalized that Alta fashioned Kara after herself, thus she could be used to help identify her mom.

Despite Karas flawless reasoning, Diana said no, pointing out that it was to dangerous. In response, Kara made use of a weapon from the Amazonette arsenal of special Amazonette techniques. The sad eyed quivering lip "Please~?" But Diana having spent years using that very technique herself against her mother was immune, and began heading for her invisible plane.

Knowing that she HAD to go save her mom, Kara empowered by her love for her mother used one of the most powerful of Amazonette techniques! The Amazonette leg anchor! Leaping at Wonder Woman, Kara sat upon Dianas foot and wrapped her arms and legs around Wonder Womans leg, refusing to let go!

Wonder Woman was helpless to dislodge Kara even with the use of an Amazonian crowbar, and thus she was forced to give in and take the invisible plane to the mainland, with Kara clinging to her leg for the entire flight.

Following traces of the ship to New York, they landed and Wonder Woman went to ask a police officer if there had been any sightings of an Amazon, to witch Kara piped up that she looks just like her.

This police officer happening to have by luck met with Alta, told Wonder Woman that he hailed her a cab just like one passing by, to which Wonder Woman planned to head to the taxi company and ask them for information.

Before she could though, Kara began running through the city, picking up every taxi cab in New York, upending it on one side, shaking out the contents, and asking those who fell out if they had seen her mom. Eventually, Kara found the taxi driver who had driven her mother and was giving Alta directions just as Wonder Woman caught up with the exuberant child.

Knowing she had ended up at the circus, Wonder Woman takes Kara there to see Alta, who was at that moment juggling elephants before a crowd. Suddenly shortly after they arrived, a collection of lions swarmed into the big top tent, and headed straight towards Alta!

Kara seeing that her mom was in danger, used the greatest of Amazonette tecniques! Balling up her hands into tiny fists, Kara let out a shrill scream so loud that it could be heard across the city and began running towards the lions, flapping her arms in the air, shouting at the lions to leave her mom alone!

The lions frightened within an inch of their nine lives by this sight, turned tail and ran off, leaving Kara to run to her mother and give her a big hug.

Seeing her daughter, Altas memories came flooding back and setting down the elephants, Alta hugged brave Kara, apologizing to her little one for worrying her.


And so after Wonder Woman wrangled the tigers and delivering Hercules Herman to the proper authorities for endangering people, Wonder Woman took Alta and Kara back to Paradise Island where the mother and daughter could return to their wonderful lives.

Day 350: Wonder Woman (Golden Age)
Fashioned from clay by Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons and given life by Aphrodite who pulled from Hippolytas heart her wish for a child and her ideals of female empowerment to place within the clay statue, Princess Diana of Paradise Island was born!

Inventor of the Purple ray, it was Diana who saved Steves life with the power of science, and when Aphrodite bids Hippolyta to elect an Amazon to journey to the outside world on a mission to better the world and make it as wonderful as Paradise Island, Diana steps forward despite her mothers objections and competes in the tournament to decide the islands champion and is chosen to stand tall as Aphrodites champion.

Thus Diana left the island and set off into the world to try and better it, end the war as fast as possible with as little loss of life as she could manage, and keep Steve safe for she had grown fond of him.

She would initially take a job in a theater deflecting bullets before a crowd to provide for herself, and be given the stage name of Wonder Woman which would come to be the name the world would know her as in her efforts to better it.

Wonder Woman would run into a woman by the name of Diana Prince and helping her get to South America, the young woman who was princess Dianas splitting image would give Wonder Woman her identification in return, granting Wonder Woman a secret identity.

She would become a nurse, caring for people when she was not working to keep them safe. She would fend off the likes of Doctor Poison and Comtesse Irene until Steve recovered enough to return to active service at Army Intelligence. In an effort to keep him safe and to use the resources within army intelligence to discover trouble more readily, Wonder Woman would get a job there, eventually earning the rank of leuitenant, and being relied upon for her medical knowledge and her skill in cartography.

And from there Wonder Woman began her efforts to better the world through love and peace! Wonder Woman had help from her closest of compatriots. Steve Trevor, the man who has promised his heart to her, and Etta Candy, her dearest friend and closest ally. Wonder Woman had a network of friends and allies spanning the globe and the farthest reaches of the galaxy for Wonder Woman is a smiling and kind soul who always finds time to socialize and befriend others, because that is just the kind of wonderful woman Wonder Woman is.

Raised on an island of women where all Amazons have the means of having children born from clay whenever they may wish, Diana was raised among Amazons of her own age. Such as her friend and lover Mala, and others such as Athleta. A culture where everyone possessed physical abilities greatly surpassing the common man, they engaged in sports which made use of their incredible strength and speed. With ten ton baseballs, and bats as heavy as tanks.

Theirs was a culture of constant joy and celebration, with holidays dedicated to love and to the Greek Pantheon which the Amazons including Wonder Woman devoted themselves. Especially Aphrodite who was their patron goddess.

The source of Wonder Woman and the other Amazons incredible strength and power came from their minds. For knowing that knowledge is power, the Amazons unlocked the means of channeling their mental power through their bodies, making their strength proportional to their brain power and their concentration.
Devoted to the path of science, all Amazons were brilliant minds who studied the secrets of the universe, and used their immortal lifespan to discover and invent, making theirs one of the most technologically advanced societies in the world. Time machines, vision spheres, invisible planes, thought controlled machinery, the Amazons were capable of incredible and amazing things.

They wore bracelets which dampened their power, granting them self control over not only their incredible abilities, but their actions as well. For power uncontrolled can cause ruin and destruction unless one kept themselves in check.

Wonder Woman was a hero who strived to better the world, and made great leaps and bounds in doing so. She resolved the energy crisis and developed a clean source of energy which also benefited the environment and averted global warming. She helped found the joy foundation which out of charity made its aim to make the world a happier place, and invited anyone to come to one of their clinics to experience happiness. Wonder Woman even mediated between the Earth and other worlds, bringing peace and enrolling Earth into the intergalactic community, and helped to establish peace and relations between the Earth and other worlds.

But for all that, Wonder Woman would always find time to help the smallest of children stand tall and bravely face tomorrow. She would help single mothers to care for their families and aid young women setting off into the world to make a difference. Wonder Woman strove to help women succeed, declaring that women are capable of anything, and that there was nothing that she could do that was beyond the means of those women who strove to achieve!

Wonder Woman strove to empower women, encouraging education and supporting those who wished to succeed. Mayors, lawyers, politicians, doctors, teachers, pillars of business and scientists, Wonder Woman would support women trying to achieve success, and did battle with a society which would try and chain women down and rob them of their power.

In a time when pedophiles were looked on with more dignity and appreciation than feminists, Wonder Woman was a champion for the disenfranchised and those treated like the other. The outliers of society. She bore no patience for the intolerance of others, and made her thoughts known without hesitation.

She was blatantly bisexual, as were many of the man and women whom she interacted with day to day, for this was not considered something 'strange' or 'unusual' in her world. It was simply the way things were.

Wonder Woman was a woman who could do anything. She was capable in any sport. Knowledgable in every science. Fluent in every language because she studied every language. She has been an entertainer, a nurse, a clerk, a stock broker, the chief of police, an ambassador, and even the president of the united states. Wonder Woman represents the idea that women are capable of anything and no goal is beyond their reach.

She valued education. For knowledge wasn't only power, it was understanding and Wonder Woman knew that through education, people would believe that violence is not the answer. That discrimination and bigotry are senseless and believed that people would embrace love and peace if they simply understood how important it was.

Wonder Woman surrounded herself with the educated. She frequented the Holliday college and encouraged the efforts of the students to better themselves in an effort to make a difference in the world. She was the friend of many a teacher, and would often visit schools in an effort to encourage children to learn and improve. Wonder Woman even took it upon herself to raise money for the construction of schools and the teaching of educators, all in an effort to help knowledge blossom across the world.

The Wonder Woman of the Golden age was Wonder Woman at her most powerful. For she was stronger than even Hercules. Faster than even Mercury or Hermes. This was Wonder Woman the scientist. The brilliant mind whose intelligence empowered her, and made her capable of great wonders. She possessed a magic lasso which allowed her to command those bound to surrender and confess to their crimes. For Wonder Woman was not about beating people senseless until they surrended. Wonder Woman was about stopping conflict as non violently as possible and trying to convince people to better themselves.

For Wonder Woman more than anyone else, championed the reform of criminals. She believed that criminal behavior to be a symptom of the worlds illness, and sought to cure it through reform of the justice system. Reform of the punitive system. Wonder Woman believed that therapy, not incarceration was the answer to doing away with criminal behavior. She would take criminals to the island neighboring her home of Paradise Island, Reform Island and with the help of her fellow Amazons, seek to reform the criminals whom she captured, and convince them to do good and better not only themselves, but the world at large.

And Wonder Woman succeeded. Baroness Paula Von Gunther. Blakfu. Gundra. Wonder Woman would reach out to her enemies with an open hand and a smile, desiring to help them and through her efforts, they would reform, vow to do better and use the skills which they had once used to worsen the world, to better it instead! She made allies of her enemies and proved time and again that no one was to far gone to reform.

Wonder Woman is a cheerful and jovial soul, always with a smile on her face as she aids children, champions peace, and deflects bullets. She is not an orphan who lost her parents, or an immigrant who lost her world. Wonder Woman is someone who grew up in a paradise, and knows that such a utopia is possible to achieve. And with joy in her heart, she wishes to share it with the world, desiring more than anything else, to make the world as great a paradise as the island she grew upon.

Diana is not a brute who goes in arms swinging, waiting until everyone was knocked unconscious to ask questions. Her greatest weapon was her mind and she would use intellect and cleverness to resolve things. Be it by simply talking people down from their criminal plans, or deducing a scientific solution for the problem. When faced with an impossible scenario of saving one or saving the other, Wonder Woman will use her brilliant mind to deduce a means of saving both.

She is a woman of culture. Engaging in music and dance. Studying and reading every piece of literature and scientific paper she can get her hands upon. theater, film, sports, festivals, Wonder Woman joyfully engages herself in such things for understanding how people thing and what resonates with them is the secret of finding common ground and bridging divides.

This is a Wonder Woman who is aided by her fellow Amazons. Amazons who outfit her with the greatest in scientific achievements they can muster. Amazons who help her to reform the criminals she captures and open their hearts to love and peace. Amazons who are there for Diana to lean on when she is weary, knowing well that Diana would do the same for them if ever there was a need.

Golden age Wonder Woman unlike any other incarnation was the physical embodiment of empowering women. The idea made form of the very concept within her mothers heart. As a living ideal and idea, Wonder Woman was a universal constant. A force of the cosmos which spanned the entirity of time and space. Anywhere, any time a woman wished for the power to better themselves, or to stand tall in the face of adversity, Wonder Woman would be pulled across time and space to be there. For Wonder Woman will never stand by when people are downtrodden.

In the name of love and peace, Wonder Woman came to better the world.

Day 351: Roy Dirke

Doctor at Global laboratories, Roy Dirke was a doctor of physics who joined Global Laboratories not for the wish of bettering the world like his collegues, but so that he could find some way to turn a profit and make a fortune.

Thus when he found out that doctor Mary Dean had developed a shrinking formula which she intended to use upon viruses to shrink them from existence, Roy Dirke knew that he could sell it instead to the wealthiest militaries in the world and make a fortune as armies conquered nation after nation by crushing whole cities underfoot.

When doctor Deans assistant Doctor Hazy Grey noticed she was missing, he contacted Wonder Woman and alerted her to the missing persons case. And thus Wonder Woman went to Global Laboratories to investigate the disappearance of her good friend Mary Dean.

When Wonder Woman arrived, Roy Dirke panicked, presuming that she had already unearthed his villainous plot and thus he ordered his one dozen assistants to fend her off! Naturally like any sensible doctor, Roy Dirke has high standards in his research assistants, and looks for specific qualities to ensure that they have what it takes to help him in his work. In this case, he ensured that every single one of his assistants was a talented knife thrower, which they showed as scalpels flew through the air towards Wonder Woman.

Shockingly enough, scalpels do as little good as bullets and lasers in this instance, and harmlessly bound off of Wonder Womans bracelets. But this gave Roy enough time to pull out a vial of shrinking potion and toss it at Wonder Woman, shrinking her in size to the point that she was the size of a jelly bean!

Did Roy Dirke succeed where others had failed and successfully defeated Wonder Woman?

Day 352: Trixter

Self proclaimed all powerful time traveling wizard from the year 1313, Trixter appeared from thin air in the middle of time square New York, proclaiming his identity and declaring that he wished to offer his infinite magical power to the rulers of the nation.

The people witnessing Trixter began proclaiming him to be the greatest man in the history of the world, and began speaking in awe of his incredible magical power and described the impossible feats which he was capable of.

Diana Prince who happened to be passing by saw the whole scene and could not help but note the spinning glittering disk he held in the air. Deciding to get down to the bottom of this, Diana changed into Wonder Woman, flew to Paradise Island, and used the Amazonian time machine to travel to time square one hour before Trixter arrived.

Getting there, she discovered Trixter in a car with a couple of hoodlums, going over their nefarious scheme. Using a spoke bomb combined with your standard over the counter gravity ray, they would create the illusion of Trixter appearing from thin air when in reality he would be floating down from the sky on the ray of gravity, and proceed to use a hypnosis machine to hypnotise the people into believing him to be an unparalleled great magician, so that he may charm the people and eventually be presented to the president whom he intended to mind control, allowing him to take over the country!

Upon realizing their nefarious scheme, Wonder Woman proceeded to pick up the car, and started to carry them off to jail, when the goons tossed smoke bombs down below the car to distract Wonder Woman!

Leaping from the vehicle, Trixter and the goons aimed the gravity ray at Wonder Woman and turned it on, sending her flying into the air, intending to launch her into space!

However Wonder Woman simply let go of the car and pulling out her magic lasso, proceeded to catch all three of them in its grasp, and she commanded them to put her back on the ground and give themselves up.

And thus so it was that Trixters nefarious scheme came undone thanks to Wonder Woman.

Day 353: Hazy Grey

Doctor at Global Laboratories and assistant to Doctor Mary Dean, Hazy Grey secretly carried a torch for his coworker whom he idolized for her incredible intellect. When she mysteriously vanished, Doctor Grey contacted Wonder Woman for help but frantically worried, went to seek out Steve Trevor when an hour later, Wonder Woman still had not contacted him about finding Doctor Mary Dean!

Thus the two of them entered the laboratory in search of Mary Dean, only to be hit with shrinking formula by Roy Dirke as they came in the door!

Now shrunk in size, the two are lost within the redwood sized fibers of the carpet, in desperate search of Wonder Woman when they discover her riding atop a carpet beetle with Mary Dean riding behind her! Pulling the two on, they make their way to Mary Deans lab so she can attempt to concoct a formula, as Wonder Woman explains Roy Dirkes plan of using the shrinking formula to turn a profit, and kill them all to take the credit!

Upon arriving on the table, Mary Dean begins listing chemical mixtures, which prompted Wonder Woman to pick up giant flasks and beakers, mixing ingredients as directed for Mary Deans novel growth formula.

Meanwhile, Roy Dirke was busily trying to fumigate the laboratory, while his assistants combed the carpeting with magnifying glass for some sign of the shrunken four.

However it wasn't until one of the assistants stood up and saw the beakers moving on their own that Wonder Woman was discovered!

Wonder Woman who was now smaller than a bug dropped the beakers and raising her arms, proceeded to deflect the oncoming throwing knives with nary an effort!

Then pulling out her magic lasso, Wonder Woman threw it, and it proceeded to grow and grow to infinite size until it encircled Roy Dirke and his goons whom were then commanded to assist in the completiton of the growth formula, restoring Wonder Woman, Mary Dean, Hazy Grey, and Steve Trevor to their original sizes.

While Wonder Woman and Steve went off to deal with the criminal fiends, Doctor Grey was moved by the experience and confessed his love to Mary, asking her to go out with him. Mary Dean having secretly carried a crush for him as well, accepted, and the two went on to live happy lives.

Day 354: Marcy Young

Freshman student at the Holliday college, Marcy Young is a new initiate of the Beeta Lamda sorority, and the newest member of the schools drama club. With a love of acting and theater, Marcy has high hopes of getting a big role.

And indeed, when she auditions for the leading role on the colleges next big play for charity, Marcy tries her luck and awes the drama teacher and the other actors with her incredible performance. Declared the greatest talent that the school had ever seen, Marcy was granted the role on the spot, with a bright future in theater ahead of her.

However not everyone was pleased by this. For Tress Atker the self proclaimed worlds greatest actress fumed and raged, declaring the role was stolen from her and that this was all a conspiracy to <b>RUIN</b> her career!

In an effort to get Tress to calm down, Etta Candy offered Tress the role of hazing the freshmen of the Beeta Lamda sorority, hoping that the sadi- initiation would be therapeutic for Tress.

However upon being given this role, Tress began to devise a sinister scheme. And thus on the night before the big play, Tress tricked the young Marcy Young into coming to the abandoned house that sits between Holliday College and Starvard University, declaring that it was part of Marcys initiation ceremony.

Marcy wanting to join the sorority, met Tress there, and obeyed Tress's instruction and let herself be bound and blindfolded. Then Tress shoved Marcy into a closet and locked it, gloating that the part was now hers and that she would become the lead!



Marcy desperate not to miss her big showing, struggled, eventually freeing herself of her bindings. But before she could try to do something about the door, the floor gave way under her, and sent her falling into the middle of a counterfeiting operation set up in the basement of the abandoned house!

Thus poor Marcy young was captured by the criminal nare do wells all thanks to Tress's envy and greed.

355: Captain Umber
Captain of the Murk military, Umber is a Murk from the shadow planet 'Murkton' which due to its light bending atmosphere, is invisible to star gazers despite rotating around the planet Earth. This is partially due to its curiously specific rotation that has the planet Murkton perpetually rotating around the Earth along the side opposite of the sun, putting the planet in a state of perpetual darkness. Because of this, Murks have adapted to see in low light to the point that the sunlight common on Earth would blind them without proper protection.

However the people of Murk were not happy with their fate, and loathed the planet Earth for possessing the sunlight which they wanted for their own world. Thus under his queens command, Umber was sent to Earth to capture humans to aid in creating a planet bomb powerful enough to destroy the Earth!

And thus reports of missing people began to be noticed, and Wonder Woman that hundreds of people across the world have been vanishing. Miners, farmers, circus folk, soldiers. The only uniting factors between these instances was that they were traveling, that they were on busses when the disappearances occurred, and that everyone kidnapped was in professions known for needing impressive physical strength. Determined to investigate this, Darnell ordered Steve and Diana to take a handful of agents and search the location of the latest disappearance involving a platoon of soldiers.

Since they had so many people, they charted a bus to take them to the disappearance, unaware that the driver was Captain Umber himself, wearing a heavy coat, hat, and sunglasses to protect him from the sun. Once army intelligence as strapped in, Umber began driving along, secretly activating a sleeping gas which rendered everyone within the bus into a coma.

Once everyone was unconscious, Umber activated the engines and the rocket ship disguised as a bus flew off into space for planet Murkton. Upon arriving, the humans are drugged with a compliance gas which makes everyone who inhales it subservient for a few hours, with the exception of Wonder Woman who regaining conscious in time, holds her breath.

Playing along until she could find out what was going on, Wonder Woman lets herself be led away, and discovers the hundreds of missing people drugged and enslaved by the Murks of Murkton in the construction of a bomb the size of a cruise ship.

Can Wonder Woman save the Earth from the people of Murkton?

Day 356: Tress Akter

The self proclaimed best actor in the world, Tress Akter is a student at Holliday college. Notorious for her tendency to be over dramatic, Tress has a questionable grip on reality and turning the phrase 'Life is a stage' into her motto in life, Tress treats every waking moment as part of a grand performance, meaning she is perpetually playing a lead role in her own mind.

As one of the senior students at Holliday college with years of experience on stage, Tress had high hopes of becoming a Shakespeareian great actor, lauded by millions. Thus when the legitimatly talented young Marcy upstaged her, this drove the oversramatic Tress <b>MAD</b> And after leaving Marcy Young tied up in an abandoned house, Tress took to the stage and the lead role in a play about a woman who discovers her husband was having an affair, and eventually divorces him and sets out to travel the world.


Stepping onto the stage in all her overly dramatic hammy glory, Tress gnawed at the scenery like a beaver as she played the part with <b>the utmost seriousness</b> Delivering every line with weight and grandoise <b>purpose</b>.

However as Tress continued to play the part, she began to see a tiny figure floating in the air above her shoulder, looking the splitting image of Tress when she was a wee lass. Demanding to know who this strange being was, the tiny figure introduced herself as Tress's inner child and began scolding Tress for her misdeeds. For crushing the dreams of a promising young actress for her selfishness, and making a mockery of the theater with her loathsome act. She denounced Tress, declaring she had abandoned the wish she had harbored since childhood to become a great actress, and demanded that Tress confess to her crimes.

Visibly weighed down with the burden of guilt and shame that consumed her to the point that she was having trouble walking with the incredible burden, Tress began to crack and as the play neared its grand finale, Tress snapped and began wailing to the world. Screaming about the ticking of the clock and the beating heart under the floor boards, she confesses before the audience for her crime of tying up Marcy Young so she could steal the big role, and crying out about the blood on her hands, Tress Akter ran from the theater, declaring that she would redeem herself for these unforgivable crimes!

Bursting into the abandoned house and opening the door to apologize to Marcy as dramatically as possible, Tress discovered the hole in the floor and saw the gang of criminals attempting to crush Marcy in their printing press to silence the witness.

Tress declaring that the only way to absolve herself of these unforgivable crimes would be to sacrifice herself in rescuing Marcy, dove down into the basement level and before the criminals could react, Tress wrapped her arms around their leader, declaring him to be her lover Antonio, and warning him that her former fiance Fredrik had sworn to kill him!

Utterly baffled, the counter fieters stared at Tress, flabbergasted, giving her a chance to free Marcy who promptly ran to the exit while Tress distracted the criminals.

However before Tress could sacrifice herself as she had intended, Etta Candy and several of her fellow Holliday girls had caught up with Tress to get her for what she had done, and by chance stumbled across the gang of crooks, handily mopping the lot of them up to be carried off by the proper authorities.

And thus so it was that Tress had learned her lesson and swore to end her own life should she ever consider betraying the spirit of the theater!

So when the next play came about, Tress applauded Marcy getting the lead role louder than anyone, and settled for a humble role as a supporting character.

And in the process proceeded to upstage Marcy at every turn with her loud scenery chewing in an otherwise quiet and somber play.

Day 357: Queen Pallida

Ruler of the shadow planet Murkton which perpetually orbits the Earth on the side facing away from the sun, Queen Pallida envious of the fertile Earth which prospers under the sun, Pallida swore to bring that same sunlight to her own world so her people may flourish.

The Murks are a race of people whose technological advancements rely upon air and gasses. Pressurized gas to travel between planets. Knock out gas to capture people. Elevators that function on air pressure, the Murks far outpace the Earth in some areas, though they are sorely lacking in others.

To do so, Pallida had numerous Earthlings enslaved in the creation of a bomb capable of destroying the planet. Intending to destroy the Earth and take its place in the cosmos!

However unbeknownst to Pallida, one of the Earthlings she captured was none other than Wonder Woman who revealing herself, freed the prisoners and headed to stop the planet bomb from being completed!

Desperate, Pallida tricked Wonder Woman into entering a chamber filled with 'weakening gas' a vapor which leaves ones muscles as limp as noodles. While Wonder Woman was incapacitated, the Murks quickly finished the planet bomb and began preparing their space craft to tow it to Earth.

Helpless, Wonder Woman telepathically contacted Etta Candy, and soon, the Holliday girl was traveling through space on the invisible jet to Dianas rescue. Breaking Wonder Woman free of the chamber, the two of them hurried back to the Invisible Jet just as the Murks lifted the giant bomb off and towed it towards the Earth intending to destroy it!

Giving chase, they pass through a cloud of dark matter which floated around the planet Murkton. Realizing what was really going on, when Wonder Woman caught up with the Murks rocket ships, Diana lassoed the bomb and toed it back towards the cloud of dark matter while Etta leaped down upon it, and undid the cables the Murks were using to toe the bomb before.

Lassoing Etta back into the jet, Wonder Woman flew the bomb into the cloud of dark matter and detonated it, dispersing the dark matter! The effect on planet Murkton was instantaneous, as without the dark matter, planet Murkton was able to enjoy the sunlight for the first time in its history!

Landing, Wonder Woman explained to Queen Pallida about the dark matter cloud, and asked Queen Pallida to apologize for her wrong doing.

Pallida amazed by this act of kindness in the face of her desperate viciousness, apologized for her actions and thanks Wonder Woman for saving her people.

And thus so it was that Wonder Woman transported the captured humans back to Earth and the Murks went on to enjoy a new golden age, their planet Murkton prospering under the sun light.

Day 358: Una

Graduate of the Holliday college, Una was a student majoring in politics and economics, with grand aspirations on her mind. Desiring to do her part to better the world through political reform, Unas goal was nothing less than becoming president!

However after Wonder Woman captured Great Solo and his lackeys, the continent of Neptunia which now sat smack dab in the middle of the Pacific Ocean was lacking a leader. Unable to discern who amongst the people of Neptunia would be best suited and would not intend to continue Great Solos efforts at world domination, Wonder Woman turned to Etta Candy for advice and the two went to visit Una who was preparing to run for office.

The two offered Una the position of ruler of Neptunia and amazed by the offer, she packed up her preformed political cabinet and traveled with Wonder Woman to Neptunia to meet with its people. As countries entire government was party to Great Solos efforts, there was a terrific power vacuum and no one had stepped in to restore order to this nation of sea men.

Thus Unas first order of business was to get a first hand accounting of Neptunia! With Etta and Wonder Womans help, Una soon had an accurate assessment of the countries resources, ecology, and institutions and soon with the aid of her assistants, Una began radically reforming the government of Neptunia into a democracy, and urging the common people to step forward and get involved in their political affairs, Una began reaching out to other nations, developing ties and cementing Neptunias position as a world power!

Day 359: Carola Harmony
Cousin of Holliday college student Marcia, Carola is a world famous violinist of great fame who is beloved by all for her beautiful music and kind nature. Traveling the world, this touring concert violinist is determined to visit every city, town and villiage in the world and play her music to the world.

Marcia, waiting on Carolas ship the S.S Neptune to arrived, grew concerned when the ship her cousin had chartered never arrived. Thus she contacted Wonder Woman, asking her to investigate.
Thus Wonder Woman set out on her invisible jet and following the travel route, soon discovered the S.S Neptune split in two and sinking into a giant whirlpool!

Carola stood on what remained of the ships deck, playing her violin which calmed the passengers and kept them from panicking even as their fate seemed certain. However Wonder Woman not about to see innocent lives lost, threw out her invisible lasso which extended to infinite size, to catch both halves of the ship and tie them together! Then diving into the ocean, Wonder Woman began towards the shore, the magic lasso over one shoulder as she swam on until she had pulled the ship aground to be evacuated.

The entire time, Carola did not cease the playing of her violin until the last of the passengers had disembarked and only then did she herself step off to thank Wonder Woman for her help. Diana impessed by Carola's dedication to helping others, asked Carola if she could join Carola for the day, and the violinist readily agreed.

And thus over the course of a day, Carola plays a song for a child who had lost her balloon, making their day.
Carola proceeded to play a tune to bring joy to the heart of a despairing canary.
And upon seeing an angry mob lobbing rotten fruit at a trio of particularly bad street musicians, Carola proceeded to calm the crowd through the power of music, and then took the time to give the trio music lessons so that they could perform admirably dittys to the delight of the crowd.

But Carola is not only a brilliant violinist, but she is also a skilled conductor, which she showed when that most common of emergency, a conductor storming away from a charity concert prompted Carola to step forward and lead the orchestra to play 'Handels water music' which thanks to the orchestras talent and Carolas leadership, stunned the crowd who declared it the best music they had ever heard.

Carola is a humble woman who desires nothing more than to bring joy and laughter to the hearts of every man, woman, and child in the world with the power of her music.

Day 360: Uvo

Archlord of the planet Uranus, Uvo is a planetary ruler who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Constructing elaborate to scale reconstructions of major cities from other planets, building atomic bombs, blowing up said major cities with the afore mentioned atomic bombs...

However one day Uvo after constructing replicas of every city on Earth commanded his minions to present him with a collection of atomic bombs to nuke his cities with, for nothing brings him joy more than nuking cities. But that all changed when nervously, Uvos minions stepped forth to inform him that Uranus had used up its entire supply of uranium, a vital ingredient for their atomic bombs.

Enraged, Uvo killed the messenger and after spending some time shouting and raging, Uvo declared that they must invade the Earth and steal their uranium! For thousands of years ago, Uvo had attempted this very thing. Steal their uranium and nuke the world afterwards. Only to be stopped by his efforts of war mongering by Queen Hippolyta and the Amazons.

For despite all of Uvos advanced technology, armies of warriors, and beloved atomic bombs, he was powerless against the sheer unstoppable force that was Queen Hippolyta, or the brilliant minds of the Amazons who through brilliance and ingenuity, sent Uvo back to his planet without a single life lost.

Still wary after his most humiliating defeat, Uvo commanded his greatest general to sneak to Earth on a stealth ship with invisibility camouflage, and sent him to capture the worlds uranium mines so that he could mine them for Uvo.

For the arch lord of Uranus had a wicked plan. Instead of invading like he had before, he would instead send a collection of invisible ships full of atomic bomb, drop them on all the cities and then when humanity was wiped out, he would simply move in and claim the planet for himself!

Thus claiming the mines and capturing the people within, general Kel-X lined the entrances with webs of uranium glazite, a transparent sticky barrier that exerts a bio magnetic force upon those trapped within it so that they are helpless to escape. Thus whenever anyone attempted to investigate those mines, they would be trapped for Kel-X's soldiers to peel off, clap in irons and march off to the prison hold of their invisible vessels as the Uranians mined for uranium.

Back on Uranius, Uvo watched events transpire with his grapho televiser, a device that allowed him to recieve picture and sound of any event in the solar system by harnessing 'cosmic radiation'

Thus when he witnessed Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor heading towards one of the mines after a string of disappearances, Uvo contacted his general and had his men lying in wait. Thus when Wonder Woman and Steve were captured in the net, they rolled it up with them in it and skedaddled back to Uranus with the uranium they had collected least Queen Hippolyta arrive and foil their plans.

Day 361: Petro the Canary

This gay canary known for fluttering about and chirping as happy as can be until tragedy struck when his one true love passed away. Refusing to sing and starving himself so he might be reunited with his beloved, Petro had resigned himself to death...

That is until Carola Harmony arrived and playing a breath taking song which reminded the canary of his one true love, brought joy to Petro's heart and caused him to sing once again, recalling the joy he once felt and thought lost.

Petro's duet with Carola is woefully interrupted when her cousin Marcia arrived, frantic as the conductor for their charity orchestra Heer Maestro had stormed out, outraged that his name didn't take up 80% of the posters and that it didn't have his face as its sole feature.


With Carola running off to resolve the problem, Petro continued chirping his song, joy in his heart once more until an hour later, Wonder Woman ran by, searching frantically. Petro seeing this, flew over to Wonder Woman and asking her what was the matter, discovered that Heer Maestro outraged that he had been replaced by someone and by someone more talented than himself no less! Enraged that the concert would continue on despite his temper tantrum, Heer Maestro took drastic measures! Thus pulling a gun, he robbed the ticket booth and made off with the money from the concert, meaning that the fundraiser for musical scholarships would be all for naught!

Petro recalling how much trouble Carola went to for his sake was not about to see her efforts be for naught and thus the canary declared that he would team up with Wonder Woman to fight crime!

Thus the dynamic duo of superhero and bird themed sidekick searched high and low for Heer Maestro and Petro soon discovered that he was boarding a train out of town. Alerting Wonder Woman, the bird guided her to the train and not one to steal glory, sat back as Wonder Woman lasso'd Heer Maestro and turning him in to the proper authorities, returned the ill gotten gains, ensuring the scholarships would come to be!

Day 362: KEL-X

Leader of the armada of Uranus, commander KEL-X is the leader of Uvo's armies and carries out his atomic will of uranium based bombardment.

Existing only to serve his leaders will, KEL-X is an almost robotic being who will carry out any command without hesitation.

Upon capturing Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor in their magnetic nets, the soldiers of Uranians of Uranus with their uranium in tow headed back to their home planet, only for Wonder Woman and Steve trevor to burst free of their confines in an effort to capture the alien invaders!

However their attempt was short lived as KEL-X drew his KAL-C-M ray, a weapon which upon firing, calcifies a person, turning them to stone.

First firing it upon Steve Trevor, turning him into stone, he then fired it upon Wonder Woman who affected by the ray, turned into stone herself...EXCEPT, the invulnerable materials which her costume is fashioned from were immune to the rays effects! Thus thanks to the tiara, Wonder Womans mind was free and functional Thanks to her costume, her waist could still bend and contort. And thank to her boots, Wonder Woman was still capable of walking around by doing little hops!

Laying low for now and biding her time, Wonder Woman let herself and Steve be carried off to Uranus and mental radio'd her mother to let her know what was going on as Uvo ordered KEL-X to dump herself and Steve into a giant aquarium containing a shark sized rock fish! A fish whose diet consists of rock. A popular punishment in Uvos court is to turn someone to stone and feed them to the rock fish, watching them be nibbled away into an unrecognizable lump of stone.

Once they are dunked into the water, the rock fish swims towards them intent on feeding, when Wonder Woman bends her body forward, and hops at the rock fish, bopping it in the nose with her head! Frightened and confused, the fish was unused to having its prey fight back and swam away, not wanting to go after such a lively rock.

Uvo thinking that Wonder Woman had not been hit by the beam, pulled out his own kal-c-m ray and fired it at Wonder Woman and Steve, reversing the effects, allowing Wonder Woman the chance to leap out of the aquarium to safty!

It was then that Hippolyta arrived with the Amazons aboard their swan rocket ships which were equipped with solar gravitational drives (Which use the gravitational force of the sun itself to harness the cheapest of clean energies.)

The Uranians of Uranus were armed with gyro shoes which allowed them to walk on walls, but despite the vertical advantage, they were no match for the Amazons who captured Uvo and his men without taking a single life. Reclaiming the uranium and scolding Uvo, Hippolyta made him promise not to attempt conquest of other worlds ever again before letting him go and heading back to Earth with Diana and Steve in tow.

And thus so it was that the day was saved, thanks to Hippolyta.

Day 363: Inventa

Notorious mad scientist, Inventa was a brilliant inventor with dark intentions who craved knowledge above all else. However while she had a talented mind for inventing new devices and was recognized by much of the scientific community, Inventa looked on upon other brilliant minds and could only feel envy for the achievements of others. Thus Inventa took to kidnapping rival scientists and tried to force them to reveal their secrets, and would put them through a gauntlet of death traps to force them to reveal their knowledge for threat of their lives.

However Inventas methods would soon be her defeat as she drew the attention of Wonder Woman who tracked down Inventa on her home on the island of Cadmea who had just kidnapped a handful of the worlds greatest minds in order to learn their secrets.

Sending Inventa and her lackeys to Reform Island, Wonder Woman thought the matter was resolved, unaware that Inventa would carve a key from stone to fit in the lock for the violence suppression device Mala had equipped her with.

But rather than trying to escape or even attempt to conquer Paradise Island, Inventa was more curious how the Amazons performed their feats of strength and speed. Inquiring to Mala, Inventa was told that it was all a matter of training which Inventa refused to believe. As a scientist, Inventa refused to believe in things like psychic power and mind over matter and was instead convinced that the Amazons were lying and that there was some sort of machine or device which heightened their abilities.

Deciding that the Amazons must have the secret of their power on Paradise Island, Inventa freed her lackeys from their violence suppressing Venus Girdles and constructing a glider to take them towards Paradise Island. As they neared the island, Inventa deliberately crashed her glider and began crying out for help, drawing the attention of several Amazons whom Inventa rendered unconscious with chloroform which she had devised, and made it to land with hostages in tow.


Keeping the Amazons at arms length, Inventa began searching the island for the machine she was convinced must somehow exist, only to be confronted by Queen Hippolyta who demanded they release the Amazons they held hostage. Offering herself in exchange, Inventa agreed and releasing the captive Amazons, Inventa demanded to know the secret of the Amazons strength.

Hippolyta explained that it was all a matter of training ones mind and mastering the ability to channel ones mental energies into their muscles, however Inventa refused to believe this and holding Hippolyta at gun point, Inventa took one of the Amazons many invisible planes and flew off to her home of Cadmea Island, demanding that if the Amazons wanted to see their queen again, they would contact Wonder Woman and tell her to meet them on Cadmea, for Inventa intended to force Wonder Woman to reveal the secret of Amazonian super strength which Inventa refused to believe was a product of mental training.

And thus so it was that Inventa prepared the four dooms of Cadmea for Wonder Woman to undertake.

Day 364: Grandissimo

Neptunian Leader of Great Solos armies , Grandissimo had been away from Neptunia when the continent was knocked off onto the planet Earth. With Great Solo out of the way, Grandissimo wanted to annihilate the Earth to serve as a symbol of his power and bring the solar system to its knees for fear he would do the same to them, while at the same time proving himself to be superior to Great Solo who had been so easily defeated by Earthlings like Wonder Woman.

Developing a fleet of one man rockets, Grandissimo had them outfitted with planet pulverizers, a bomb unique to Neptune which destroys landmass. On Neptune, planet pulverizers while dangerous do not pose such a great impact. However on Earth, it would mean the planets destruction.

Selecting dozens of his men to serve as suicide bombers, he had them enter the liquid air torpedoes and sent them blasting off towards the Earth! Designed with an anti neptu-matic metal which would push away anything producing a magnetic field (A design choice made so that the torpedoes could avoid collision with small pieces of debris such as space rocks and asteroids) the liquid air torpedoes continued on towards the Earth, seemingly unstoppable!

However Wonder Woman discovering this plight while enjoying a game of kangaroo jousting, had her sky kanga Jumpa leap into space to meet the oncoming fleet of piloted torpedoes!

Seeing a collection of torpedoes encased in water bubbled full of air, Wonder Woman had a strong suspicion that they came from Neptune. So using her magic lasso which lacked a magnetic field, Wonder Woman lasso'd the fleet of missles, pulling them together in a tight ball, and headed for Neptune with the Neptunians in tow, disarming the torpedoes along the way.


Touching down, Wonder Woman freed the pilots and using her magic lasso, discovered who was responsible and his goals. Thus so it was that Wonder Woman tracked down Grandissimo and capturing the fiend, she carted him off to Reform Island where he would hopefully be rehabiliated, his maniacal schemes now at an end.

Day 356: Hercula

Amazon of Paradise Island, this curiously named Amazon is noted for her terrific strength and upper body strength and muscular might. While lacking in speed of movement and dexterity which is common amongst her fellow Amazons, Hercula is noted for being strong enough to duel wield one ton lances the size of red woods.


A feat which she uses to her advantage in games of Kangaroo jousting. A rather straight forward sport that involves using ones lance to unseat their opponent in a duel between multiple riders wherin you are disqualified if you touch the ground.

With kangaroo leaping dozens of feet into the air with every hop and giant lances lunging, it is a sport of great challenge to master, which naturally makes it an enjoyable one for the Amazons of Paradise Island who put alot of effort into developing new and elaborate sports to offer challenge for their incredibly physical abilities, and to create new ways to pass the time with their immortal existence.

Hercula in particular prides herself on her incredible strength and trains rigorously in an effort to be physically stronger than anyone, making her a powerful rival in any sporting match. However due to her almost exclusive focus on physical strength, other Amazons are able to effortlessly run circles around her, and avoid her attempts to unkangaroo them.

Day 366: Torcha

One of the lackeys of Inventa, Torcha was with Inventa when she kidnapped Queen Hippolyta, and held her hostage in order to lure Wonder Woman to the isle of Cadmea in an effort to force Wonder Woman to reveal the secret of her super strength which Inventa refused to believe was simply channeling the power of the mind.

Thus when Wonder Woman arrived, she was forced to face...The four dooms of Cadmea. A series of trials invented by Inventa to test Wonder Womans physical prowess, which in truth were fixed as to make it impossible for Wonder Woman to overcome them.

First was the doom of rolling stones. A Greecian trial in which Wonder Woman is forced to to roll a boulder up a hill. But per Inventas instruction, Torcha implanted a powerful magnet within the boulder, and another at the mountains peak so that they would forever push against one another, making it impossible for Wonder Woman to transport it.

However Wonder Woman quickly deducing the true nature of Inventas trail, tied her lasso around the mountains peak and wrapping the other end around the boulder, she began walking circularly around the mountain until the boulder was tied to the mountaintop, making it impossible for the powerful magnet to push it back down evermore.

Next was the doom of blinding mirrors. Traversing a maze formed from mirrors with flood lights, Wonder Woman needed to find her way out. However Torcha and several other lackeys of Inventa were wearing sunglasses and wielding swords, attempted to cut Wonder Woman down.


However Wonder Woman having lots and lots and lots of experieince deflecting things with her bracelets even when she could not see them, was able to block every blow even if she couldn't tell what was attacking her. Thus Wonder Woman soon escaped the hall of mirrors with little trouble.

Next was the doom of the Labyrinth. An intricate maze designed by Inventa which would put Wonder Woman in complete and total darkness in a multi floored maze with trick doors and terrible twists and turns. Inventa expected Wonder Woman to quickly despair and soon surrender everything she knew.

However Wonder Woman having learned the language of bats, had naturally enough also learned echo location. Thus trapped in total darkness, Wonder Woman began crying out in bat, and using her developed sense of echo location, Wonder Woman found her way out in record time.

Finally, the doom of dragons teeth. Standing at the far end of a mine field with a gun trained on Queen Hippolyta, Inventa declared Wonder Woman doomed, for there was no possible way for Wonder Woman to cross the 'dragons teeth' mine field without blowing herself to smithereens.

However Inventa underestimated Wonder Woman who leaping a hundred feet into the air, effortlessly traversed the mine field without taking a single step upon it and stood in front of Inventa with her hands on her hips and a smile on her face.

Enraged, Inventa turned her gun upon Wonder Woman intending to shoot her down but Hippolta done humoring Inventa, effortlessly broke free of her restraints and grabbed the gun away, scolding Inventa for pointing such a dangerous thing at someone.

Inventa realizing how hopeless her villianous scheme truly was, surrendered and thus Inventa, Torcha and the other minions of the fiendish mastermind returned to Reform Island for rehabilitation.

Day 367: Queen Zol

Ten thousand years ago in a time preceding the nations of Mongolia or China, there existed within the mountains of the gobi desert a small tribe which due to the warring between peoples of the era, remained in hiding to avoid detection. Nestled within a hidden valley which was accessible only through secret caverns leading up the mountain to the valley nestled within the sheer vertical cliffs which surrounded it, they were a people who simply wished to live peacefully, and avoided contact with their more violent neighbors.

Amongst their number was a woman by the name of Zol, the first scientist to exist amongst their people. She was studying light and its properties, believing that it contained a special power. Inventing devices with which to study light in its various colors and spectrums, Zol was obsessed, determined to unlock its secret...Until she succeeded.

For Zol discovered that there was power within simple light. Power which reflected emotion and could be harness to perform amazing feats. Calling this the 'emotional light spectrum' Zol found that different spectrums of light could manipulate a persons emotions, that using her device to channel the power of specific spectrums, she could send people into a blood thirsty rage, or cause them to feel a deep inner peace.

But it was not only power over emotions which Zol had discovered, for she soon found she could use the power of the emotional light spectrum to create solid objects from light such as shields and bridges. And that it could be used to render things invisible, heal the injured, or even create illusionary constructs which behaved however Zol wished.

Using her discovery to better her people, the sun tribe saw dramatic technological upgrade and within a single generation, they were amongst the most advanced societies in the world.


Now proclaimed Queen Zol for her incredible discovery and the wonder she bestowed upon her people, Zol proceeded to create a large scale version of her device which would run perpetually. Powered by the sun, it would take the sunlight and convert it into whichever spectrums of light they needed, and thus their valley was blanketed in a perpetual shield of protection which rendered the entire valley and the cavern entrance invisible.

Despite their secrecy, word of the sun people would spread across the region, for traders from the sun tribe would journey from their valley, trading petty trinkets such as rings which glowed with a healing purple healing light in exchange for food and other supplies. But the traders would always keep secret where their home was hidden, and thus the stories spread about the mysterious 'Sun Empire' A mystery which would remain unsolved well into the present day.

Day 368: Furiosa

The spy queen, the mistress of masquerade, the mercenary for hire, Furiosa is a notoriously talented spy who for the right price will stop at nothing to achieve the desired goal.

Hired to steal the LE-X formula from the united states, a special formula which would allow for the harnessing of lunar energy. Furiosa assembled her entire spy ring and put together a nigh impossible task.


kidnapping a high ranking official and making it seem as though he was killed in the line of duty, Furiosa proceeded to send her most talented spies into the pentagon to steal the formula. However with security as tight as it was, it was impossible to get the formula out without being caught.

Thus when arrangements were made to award the kidnapped officer a congressional medal of honor, the spies inscribed the formula into the back of the medal, which made its way to army intelligence for Wonder Woman to award to the fallen heroes widow.

Thus Furiosa in an effort to get their hands on the medal, infiltrated army intelligence, kidnapped and tied up every official in the building, and had her operatives display their masterful talent for disguise by impersonating every individual who worked in army intelligence.


As for Furiosa herself, she took on the guise of Steve Trevor and when the medal arrived, she swiped it out of the case before handing it to Wonder Woman whom she flirted with before Wonder Woman leaped out the window.

And thus Furiosa had stolen the formula, with none the wiser as to her involvement in the whole matter.

Furiosa like the rest of her spy ring is a talented master of disguise who can disguise herself as anyone with none the wiser as to her true identity.

She also like the rest of her spy ring, is equipped with a special custom made hand gun with a curiously shaped handle, allowing it to be thrown like a boomerang or used as an effective clubbing weapon to make up for the inability to fire bullets with it.

Day 369: Professor Dugg

the digging Professor Dugg is a teacher at the Holliday college, specializing in archeology within the scope of Asias gobi desert. Studying veraciously the ancient cultures across pre history Mongolia and China, Professor Duggs research soon lead him to examining the historic evidence pointing to the existence of the Sun Empire, a civilization lost to the annals of time which Professor Dugg believes had existed twelve thousand years ago.

His evidence suggesting that the Sun Empire was situated smack dab in the mountains of the gobi desert, Professor Dug put together an expedition with the Holliday college professor of anthropology specializing within the Asian area.

But upon reaching the location of where Professor Duggs research indicated the empire should be situated in order to begin his search, Professor Dugg and others within the exhibition began exhibiting unusually imbalanced behavior as people turned suspicious of one another, and violent bouts were growing steadily uncommon.

To make matters worse, supplies were dwindling and communication to the outside world was flaky at best. Twice planes flew to drop off supplies for the exhibition, only to suddenly explode in midair as they were passing the mountains, and at that point, American army intelligence began to suspect there was a secret weapon being developed in the region.

Thus Steve Trevor took over as pilot for the next supply drop off for the exhibition, armed with a spy camera to photograph anything he saw. However as he passed over the mountains, Steve noticed a bright light and swerved the plane, narrowly avoiding a beam of light which took off one of the planes wings!

Coming in hard, Steve was able to land the plane, and retrieve the camera, escaping just before the plane went up in a firey explosion.

Telepathically contacting Wonder Woman for help, Steve made his way towards the camp of Professor Dugg, unaware of the heated emotions which were bubbling over at this point...

Day 370: Johnny West

Son of the military official John West, Johnny was a wee child whose life changed when his father died, presumed dead on a military mission, the details of which the military was covering up until they could get to the bottom of his death.

Enduring mockery and ridicule from fellow children who claimed that Johnnys father had walked off on them, Johnny was with his mother at a military service at Reverse Field to award his father with the post humorous congressional medal of honor.

However at the event when Wonder Woman was to present the medal, she found the medal gone. Young Johnny enraged that proof that his father died a hero was taken from him, blamed Wonder Woman and when she headed back to Army Intelligence to get answers, he followed after, convinced that Wonder Woman stole the medal for herself~

However when Wonder Woman enters army intelligence, she found Furiosas agents in the course of escaping! As Wonder Woman began capturing and tying up the nare do wells, Furiosa ran back to a convinient broom closet, and Wonder Woman was soon confronted by Furiosa disguised as Steve Trevor, holding a bound Steve Trevor with a gun to his head!

Forcing Wonder Woman to surrender, Furiosa took Wonder Woman and Steve with them to their hideout out in the woods which her other agents were busily at work setting up to be crushed under a land slide as per her instruction. Unaware that Johnny West had smuggled himself into the trunk of their vehicle.

When they arrived, Johnny peeked out from his hiding place in the trunk and saw his dad tied to a chair and sitting by the cabins window! Not thinking about the situation, Johnny leaped from the trunk and ran towards the cabin screaming for his dads attention, only to be clubbed from behind by a boomerang gun.

With four people now in Furiosas clutches, she wasted no time tying them up within the cabin, and abandoned it for the cliff face above to see them all crushed to death.

Wonder Woman waiting until Furiosa and her agents were no longer holding Steve at gun point, freed herself with a single tug of her arms, and grabbing John West, Johnny West, and Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman leaped out of the way, carrying the three under her arms as the rock slide came down upon the cabin, crushing it flat!

Getting the three to a safe place, Wonder Woman ran back and lassoing the lot of them, Wonder Woman captured Furiosa and her agents, then proceeded to make her confess as to the identies of her other agents and her motives behind the whole matter.

With the LE-X lunar energy formula recovered and the whole matter dealt with, John West returned home, only to be rewarded the congressional medal for his part in recovering the formula, and a silver star for his efforts, much to the delight of young Johnny West.

Day 371: Professor Hill

Professor of Archeology in the Holliday college specializing in the Asian hemisphere, Professor Hills research focused on the Gobi Desert area and the cultures surrounding it.

Thus when Professor Hill and Professor Dugg met, they found they had quite alot in common, hit it off and discovered they both shared an interest in the mystery of the Sun Empire which evidence suggested must be somewhere within the Gobi desert.

Funding an expedition and hiring a local guide to aid them in their search, the two of them set out, only to soon run into problem after problem, amongst which was a violent and erratic behavior amongst the expedition team, including Professor Hill himself who becoming convinced that Professor Dugg wanted to kill him and claim sole credit for the discovery, began secluding himself away in his tent with the maps and research notes, with a knife on him at all times.

When Steve arrived at their camp, Professor Hill screamed bloody murder, convinced that Steve was there to still his discovery, and came out of the tent running at Steve with a knife!

Steve effortlessly disarming Professor Hill, demanded to know what was going on, only to have other members of the expedition including Professor Dugg, screaming and coming at him!

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman and Etta Candy were flying over the expedition site within the invisible plane but as they were flying over the mountains, a powerful light emitted from below them hit the plane, blinding them! However whatever powerful light energy had hit the invisible jet, it had no effect, for the invisible jets design allows it to absorb any forms of light or heat, rendering it invulnerable to light based attacks.

Examining the mountain range below, they saw nothing but mountains, with no sign of where the attack could have originated from. The two of them continued on until they reached the camp, but upon arriving, everyone present including Steve Trevor began screaming for their heads, and ran at Wonder Woman and Etta Candy attempting to kill them both!

The only exception of those present was the local guide Domina, who happened to be wearing a glowing blue ring.....

Day 372: George Zenko

Retired military man and naturally friend of Steve Trevors, George Zenko was a first generation immigrant who came to the country and settled into a small town down south, getting a job as a short order cook at 'Sams eat bar' a place which serves both alchohol, and food palatable to people who are drunk.

However one day, Steve Trevor received a note from George, asking for help and talking about how he has been harassed over the past few weeks and feared for his life. Concerned, Steve declared he would take a week off but before he could head for a train, he was met by Wonder Woman who carrying him under her arm, leaped up into the air and grabbed the ladder of her invisible plane, flying off to visit George Zenko!

When they arrived at the small town, they discovered Etta Candy and the Holliday girls doing battle with a gang of men in green sweaters and white hoods who declared that people who don't look like them must die, along with those who support them!

Landing, Wonder Woman saw the gang had George Zenko and his employer Sam tied up to a flag pole, attempting to hang them to death! Getting Steves attention as she waded her way through the savage mob, she left it to Steve Trevor to shoot down the nooses while Wonder Woman caught the pair, and moved them away from the scuffle as Etta Candy and the Holliday girl strung up the lot of them.

However a handful of men on horse back seeing this, ran in and throwing lassos around Wonder Woman, began galloping off in four directions, intending to kill Wonder Woman! However instead, Wonder Woman simply stood in place with a smile on her face and when they reached the end of their ropes, the four men cried out as they were unhorsed, having to tight a grip on the rope, followed by Wonder Woman spinning in circles, raveling the four men to her before breaking the ropes, and capturing the four men.

Shortly after the last of them were strung up, the town sheriff arrived and declared that he would take the lot of them to jail, with Wonder Woman none the wiser that the sheriff upon getting a few blocks away from the scene, simply let the lot of them go and warned them to lay low for a bit.

With the fiends seemingly dealt with, Wonder Woman met with Steve who was getting the story from George. He explained that a man by the name of Doctor Frenzi had come into the area last year and had been declaring that all of the woes and problems people have had over the course of their lives was the vault of immigrants and people who were different from them, who ruined their lives by being different. That Doctor Frenzi was driving people into a frenzy claiming that they were stealing jobs from 'honest hard working americans' and that the lot of them needed to be killed for the good of the community'

When Sam refused to fire George, Doctor Frenzi ordered his followers to kill the both of them, which they would have done if Etta and the Holliday girls hadn't happened along on one of their excurions around the world and fended them off long enough for Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor to save the day.

Wonder Woman not about to stand by while bigots preyed on the innocent, declared she would put an end to Doctor Frenzis genocidal schemes.
