Year of Wonder Woman

Day 324: Mr. Dough

A wealthy man of real estate who comes from a long line of wealthy men in real estate, Mister Dough happens to be one of the wealthiest men in the world thanks to his families business philosophy of buying up land en masse and refusing to sell no matter the buyer until they can make back a hundred times the value they paid for it.

For knowing that real estate is a commodity that will always increase, the Dough family sat on miles of seemingly worthless land for generations. That is until the large cities of the United States sought to expand, only to find that the land surrounding those cities was all owned by the Dough family.

Generations since and Mister Dough continues the tradition of buying up large parcels of land, and selling only to the highest of bidder.

Thus when a small group of concerned citizens approached Dough, asking him to part with some of his land for the sake of a childrens playground, he scoffed at the idea, declaring that cities are no place for children. Cities are a place for skyscrapers and the millions people will spend in order to build one.

Later Wonder Woman would get word of this after rescuing a couple of children from being hit by a car as they were playing in the middle of the road. Asking the youngsters why they would do something so dangerous, they explained how there were no parks in the city.

Concerned about this, Wonder Woman found a number of empty lots, though they were guarded, as Mr. Dough saw them as valuable.

Thus after finding out about the owner and his refusal to give the land over to the construction of parks for the poor children within the cities who had not even seen a tree before, Wonder Woman made a point of visiting him, and explained to Mr. Dough that all the money in the world is useless unless it is put to a noble cause. And convinced him that a playground for children to enjoy themselves can have a greater impact upon society than any sky reaching skyscraper.

Mr. Dough moved by these words, went on to convert all of his lots within the cities across the country into parks and playgrounds for the sake of the children, contenting himself with the vast fortune he possessed which would allow him and the next ten generations to live comfortably without working ever again.

Day 325: Mark Quillian

Captain in the American airforce, Mark Qullian was a decorated war hero who had downed thirty eight planes over the course of his career during world war 2.

He also happened to be Steve Trevors best friend in college, the two of them bosom buddies who had enlisted at the same time together to join the military. Though their paths diverged since then as Steve went into army intelligence and espionage while Mark Quillian enrolled into the airforce, the two always stayed in touch, and would always find time to share a drink when the two were back stateside.

So when Marks plane was shot down and he was hurried back to a hospital in America, Steve was at his bedside within minutes. Due in no small part to the fact that Steve was also hospitalized and was being nursed by Diana Prince at the time.

The doctors were helpless to save him and they said he would not have long to live. Desperate, Steve called for the one person in the world whom he knew could save the day. He called Wonder Woman, asking her to save his best friend.

Wonder Woman arriving the moment Diana Prince departed, she rushed to Steves side and he begged her to use the purple ray upon Mark Quillian to save his life just as she has saved his own.

However Wonder Woman explained, Mark Quillian was in such poor condition that he could not be moved without killing him, and the purple ray was such a fragile piece of equipment that it could not be transported.

Seeing Steve distraught, Wonder Woman went to see the doctors, seeing if they might have the resources needed to save Mark Quillian. However, they explained that the vital drugs and medications needed to help ward off death for critical condition patients like Quillian had been stolen by drug racketeers.

But Wonder Woman refusing to give up, swore to save Mark Quillian no matter what!

Thus Wonder Woman ran to the Holliday college, borrowing all manner of technological equipment and racing back to the hospital in less than a minute with a pile of mechanical parts slung over her arm, Wonder Woman set out to empty one of the hospital rooms and got to work!

Hours would pass as the doctors strained to keep Mark Quillian alive as Wonder Woman set out to do the impossible. Working on a feat of medical science unmatched on Earth, Wonder Woman recreated the purple ray! The device was fragile, could not be moved from that hospital and even Wonder Woman had plenty of difficulty replicating her technological feat, but with this, Mark Quillian and many like him would be saved!

Thus the hospital gained its own Purple Ray and its first patient was Mark Quillian who recovered from all of his injuries thanks to Wonder Woman.

Day 326: Celestia

Mole woman of King Blakfu's subterranean kingdom, Celestia is keeper of the flesh magnet. A device which magnetizes organic matter and pulls it in. Used by the mole people to pull animals, people, and even trees down beneath the earth for transportation and subsistence.

After the newlywed King Blakfu cancelled is plans for conquering the surface world for the sake of his people and for his darling wife Calla, Celestia swore she would not surrender, believing that they gave up when the world was just within their grasp!

Thus donning a lead lined suit to protect herself from the bright light which would harm her albino skin, the blind mole woman carried the flesh magnet up to the surface and activated it. Suddenly all organic matter within a hundred miles save that protected by lead was drawn into the magnet like a large ball!

With a collection of mole men gravity weights, Celestia picked through the ball of organic matter looking for people, clapping them in irons and enslaving them to do her bidding. Then she would deactivate her magnet and set her slaves to harvesting the animal life and trees, intending to cart it all down to the subterranean underworld and convince Blakfu to take up conquering the surface world once more. As Celestia believed, the flesh magnet alone would make their conquest effortless!

However before Celestia could make her return to the surface world, her schemes caught the attention of Wonder Woman who upon destroying the machine, freed the people and captured Celestia.

Informing Blakfu of what had transpired, Wonder Woman took Celestia with her to Reform Island where she would learn the error of her ways.

Day 327: Dapper, Fancy, and Francois

Goons working for Cometesse Irene, the head of their drug smuggling racket, the two of them are a pair of criminals who rob hospitals of their medical supplies to turn around and sell on the black market, leaving the poor unfortunates to die without proper medical attention.

The three of them are skilled actors with a preference towards evening wear and smooth talking their employer. When their on the job, Dapper will pose as an injured member of the military. Most often as Colonel Fairfax. and Cometesse Irene posing as his wife, will go back and forth from the hospital to get schedules of the people who work in the hospital, find out where the supplies are stored, and get from him any information they need after he has cased the place.

Afterwards, Fancy and Francois will go in posing as paramedics, load up the medical supplies into a gurny with Dapper in tow and claim to be taking him off to another hospital with their ill gotten gain in tow within an ambulance they had stolen for their jobs.

After that it is simply a matter of getting their loot to their warehouse and selling it off to the highest bidder.

However their little scheme hit a hitch as hearing about how his good friend Colonel Fairfax was in the hospital, Steve Trevor decided to pay him a visit. (Because Steve knows EVERYONE in the military.) And found an entirly different person in his bed! Just as Steve was questioning 'Colonel Fairfax' Cometesse Irene came in and seeing the situation, knocked Steve out with a blow to the back of the head.

Calling up Fancy and Francois, they decided to rush their latest job and soon the whole gang arrived and this time took along Steve Trevor as well, to silence him so he could not identify them.
Diana Prince though noticing Steve being carried out trough the front door, stopped to question Fancy and Francois, only for them to grab her and toss her into the ambulance before driving off, intending to kill her as well!

Diana curious as to what was going on, sat back and let them drive her to their warehouse and upon discovering that they were the ones behind the theft of medical supplies for hospitals across the area, proceeded to capture all three of them, tie them up, stuck them in the back of the ambulance, and without bothering to change out of her Diana Prince alter ego, dropped Dapper, Fancy and Francois off at the police station, giving law enforcment directions to the warehouse full of medical supplies to boot.

After which Diana drove back to the hospital and had Steve in bed before he even recovered from his concussion.

Day 328: Erna Dollar

Steve Trevors first secretary preceding Lila Brown, Erna Dollar was seemingly nothing more than the clerk passing intelligence to and from Steve Trevors desk in Army Intelligence.

In reality however, Erna Dollar was the leader of a corrupt spy ring. Not as part of a large scale plot, they were people within different sectors of the government, branched out into various government offices and military institutions with none the wiser. Passing information down the chain as they discovered it, it would be discreetly sold off to any nations willing to buy American secrets.

Erna Dollar did not care about politics or patriotism. Her goal was to earn a dollar and cared not for the consequences of her actions.

And thanks to her position as the secretary of a man who spends most of his time out in the field, oftentimes in other countries, Erna had all the time in the world to coordinate her spy rings efforts and amass a fortune divided between herself and her various villainous compatriots.

However, Erna Dollar's grandoise scheme was imperiled when Diana Prince arrived as an agent for army intelligence. Serving simultaneously as a luitenant, the chief medical professional for army intelligence, and as their prized master cryptographer, Diana was very perceptive and had an eye for suspicious behavior.

Realizing her plans were imperiled, Erna attempted to from Diana for treason to hide her secrets, only to be caught by Wonder Woman who using the magic lasso, made Erna confess to her crimes and reveal her allies in the spy ring she had put together!

Day 329: Cometesse Irene

Master criminal, Cometesse Irene is a criminal mastermind whose crimes range from drug smuggling to kidnapping. Financing her enterprises through a series of drug smuggling operations, Irenes true objective lies on a grander scale...The creation of a criminal empire.

For Irene lives two very seperate lives. To criminals, she is Cometesse Irene, a woman whose only concern is money and cares not for the well being of those left wanting in hospitals.

To the world at large however, he is Professor Hypno. An accredited and famous professor in the art of hypnotism and mental suggestion.

Traveling to schools such as the Holliday college, he would host lectures open to the public in which he would pull several people from the audience and mind control them to act like a chicken, stand on their heads and so forth. However mixed in with these simple commands, he would subtly integrate subconscious commands for them to later head for his hideout where he would go on to command them to serve him loyally and taking advantage of their current positions, he would have them live normal lives as sleeper agents who with a single command, begin an attempt to take over the country!

Professor Hypno's plan was seemingly fullproof. What he did not count on however was Wonder Woman discovering one of his agents hidden amongst Erna Dollars own organization, and connecting the dots back to Cometesse Irene and the drug smuggling operation as well.

Realizing that Wonder Woman had him cornered, Professor Hypno attempted to to mind control Wonder Woman herself to make her serve him, only for Wonder Woman to reveal that due to her powers stemming from her mental abilities, she possessed powerful resistance to psychic stimulus and the power of suggestion.

Thus with that, Professor Hypno was captured and his scheme was in shambles, thanks to Wonder Woman.

Day 330: Abra

Amazon of paradise island and one of Queen Hippolytas personal guard, Abra is an Amazon who takes it upon herself to patrol the island shores to make sure no one has washed ashore or anything else of the sort.

Like many Amazons, Abra celebrates the Amazonian harvest festival by dressing up in a fruit costume while enjoying a day of celebration with various games and contests. In Abra's case, she favors a grape costume.

Games such as Amazonian bowling, a sport of great endurance in which an amazon will be chained to the center of a bowling lane as a team of Amazonian bowlers with two ton bowling balls throw their balls down the lane and attempt to knock the human bowling ball over.

The game is played in a round robin manner and people get points both for the number of balls they withstand, and for the number of Amazonian bowling pins they knock over.

Abra happens to be a professional Amazonian bowler. Though she rarely withstands a full Amazonian bowling team as a pin, Abra is a good shot who has knocked down more than her share of Amazons in this sport.

Though in the face of Wonder Woman, Abra time and time again fails to defeat the Amazonian princess who remains standing even against the greatest of Amazonian bowlers.

Day 331: 331: Tor Drew

Inspector for the new york police, Tor Drew is a dirty cop who is famed for his 'talented police work' for Tor Drew boasts the greatest success rate of any police officer in the cities history.

How he does this is shockingly enough not through legitimate means. Tor Drew will either seek out people who are on his bad side or if cases are piling up, he will grab someone off of the street.

Dragging them off to an interrogation room and threatening to charge people with assault on a police officer if they do not comply, Tor Drew will force them to remain in an interrogation room with a half dozen flood lights pointed down on them. With second hand smoke being pumped into the room. With a dozen police officers in the room with the suspect, screaming for hours on end to confess with a blank sheet of paper and a pen for the suspect to sign their name on the bottom so that Tor can fill in the rest and close any case he wishes on the spot by picking a poor unfortunate to blame for the deed.

Working his officers in four hour shifts, he will refuse to let suspects see a lawyer or rest or eat, or sleep for days if necessary. Throwing buckets of water upon them if they ever lose consciousness and continuously harassing the suspect until they confess to whatever crime Tor Drew wishes.

Inspector Tor Drew enraged by Wonder Womans efforts to uplift women, wanted to put her in her place and put an end to her efforts. So arresting Wonder Woman, Inspector Tor Drew attempted to use the same dirty tactics upon Wonder Woman to make her talk! But Wonder Woman possessing an iron will, withstood these dirty tactics. However without breaking American law and becoming an enemy of law enforcement, Diana was seemingly helpless to free herself from this predicament!

Fortunately, Wonder Woman was able to telepathically contact Steve Trevor who used the power of political clout and jurisdiction one-up-manship to not only free Wonder Woman, but to begin an investigation into Tor Drew's records, and uncover the true nature of his 'glorious' record as a police inspector.

Day 332: Tom Helfin

Boyfriend of Kit Carlin, Tom Helfin was a man who hearing the call of enlistment, decided that he would join the army. Blind to his girlfriends protests, he broke up with her and told her to find someone else, concerned that if he died, she would pine for him.

Years overseas, he rose through the ranks becoming a sergant in the army and returned to find that Kit had moved on, and was dating radio singer Eric Tones. Flying into a rage and declaring Kit to be his girlfriend, he attacked Eric Tones, and attempted to strangle him in public.


Seeing this as she was passing by, Wonder Woman broke up the argument and she picked up Tom who was kicking and screaming, only to have Eric trying to attack Tom while he was restrained! Carrying both men at arms length, Wonder Woman walked over to a nearby lake, dunked them in to cool them down, and then set them both down and insisted they stop acting like immature children.

When both men start insisting that Kit belonged to the, Wonder Woman informed the two men that Kit was a human being. Not a trophy for the two men to fight over. She made it clear that it was Kits decision to make which of the two men she had an interest in, and demanded the two mule headed fools respect her wishes whatever she may choose.

Sending the two men on their way,Wonder Woman went to visit Kit Carlin and give the young woman her contact information, insisting that Kit contact her should either man give her trouble.

However later that night, Wonder Woman is called by Kit who hesterical, tells Wonder Woman that Eric Tones had been killed, and that Tom Helfin was sighted, standing over the body by the band leader of Eric Tones radio program.

Now on the run, Tom Helfin was laying low, and refusing to come forward.

Wonder Woman knowing that Tom Helfin needed to come forward and tell his side of the story, contacted Steve Trevor and asked him if he knew where Tom Helfin was.

Steve Trevor having an encyclopedic knowledge of every military officer of every rank whom he knows on a first name basis, said that Tom and his unit regularly hang out at 'Scuttlebutt bar'

Meeting Wonder Woman and showing her where it was, Steve walked in and greeted everybody. Naturally Steve was good friends with ever military man there, and spotting Tom at the end of the bar, Steve and Wonder Woman talk to Tom who was drowning himself in alchohol.

With Wonder Woman using the magic lasso to make him tell the truth, Tom declared that he wanted to confront Eric Tones and marching into the radio station, he had gotten into an argument and slugged Eric Tones before storming out of the building, only to find out later that he had died.

Convinced that he punched Eric so hard that he had killed the singer, Toms first impulse was to drown himself in alchohol and bemoan what he had done.

However, Eric Tones had died of a bullet to the back and getting Tom to swear he did not do it, Steve took Eric to the police station to avoid him being seen as on the run.

And Wonder Woman decided to get to the bottom of this mystery and discover what was really going on.

Day 333: Judge Friendly

A judge who handles criminal cases, Judge Friendly is a stern and cold hearted man on the bench, laying out the law and bearing no patience for tom foolery. However when not dealing with criminal matters, Judge is one of the friendlist men you might ever meet.

A friend of Wonder Womans, Judge Friendly often invites Wonder Woman to join him, for want of her advice and reason to help in dealing with his more difficult cases.

Be it working out a fitting punishment for wrong doers that will help them learn their lesson, or discerning the messy details of a marital dispute that got out of hand.

And Wonder Woman naturally enough, is always happy to help and do what she can to lend a helping hand and do what she can to try reforming the justice system in an effort to make it a force for good.

That said however, Judge Friendly forbids Wonder Woman from using the magic lasso within his court room. For knowing that the magic lasso compels people to obey any command instead of specifically telling the truth, Judge Friendly deems its usage in legal cases to be up for debate. Thus the lasso remains unused.

Even despite the magic lasso however, Wonder Woman is an amazing boon in the court room, and one of judge Judge Friendly's dearest allies in the name of justice.

Day 334: Kiah Stone

A dirty defense attorney, Kiah Stone is a man who has made a fortune in the court rooms. Not by taking high profile cases, but by accepting bribes and sleeping through a case.

For Kiah among certain less reputable circles has made himself known as a dirty lawyer who will throw a case for the right price. Have an enemy you want to see imprisoned? Need to get someone arrested to cover up your own crimes? Trying to close a case and need the defendant declared guilty so he cannot claim his confession was fraudulent?

Kiah Stone is the man to call! He will show up, pretending to be a lawyer appointed by the state to represent a person, convince them that it is a no win case, and get them to plead guilty for a reduced sentence.

Just as he attempted to do with Tom Helfin after being bribed $25,000 by Flora Musica to see him imprisoned before anyone began asking the wrong questions about the murder of Eric Tones. And with Musica serving as a witness claiming to have seen Tom murder Eric, it would seem an open and shut case.

And so it was that Tom was about to plead guilty in court, having given up on his innocence when Wonder Woman arrived with Kit Carlin in tow who shouted at the foolish Sergent to not give up.

Kiah Stone, flummoxed by this, attempted to convince Tom to quickly agree to the bargain, only for Wonder Woman to offer her services as Toms new lawyer as she passed the bar exam on the way over with Kit Carlin after hearing about Toms intention to plead guilty.

And with that, Kiah Stone was off the case. But having the money already in hand, the lawyer decided to take a vacation and left town in a hurry to settle down in a tiny out of the way cabin far off in the wilderness where he assumed no one would find him.

Unfortunately, the killer was not very pleased with this and soon enough, Kiah found himself face to face with Maurice Musica, the true murderer of Eric Tones in an effort to take over his radio program. Not pleased with Kiah Stones betrayal, he held Kiah at gun point and forced him to drink a poison which would leave no traces in his body, and create the illusion that the dirty lawyer died of a heart attack.

Now he just needed to deal with Tom Helfin…

Day 335: Glamora
Singer at the Aloha club, Glamora was the star of the club and a woman who took pride in her voice which she trained constantly. Taking it upon herself to train the other talents of the club to sing, Glamora draws in a big crowd.

However, problems began to arise for her as one after another, an unusual pattern began to develop. For Glamora during her songs, would end every night by kissing a member of the audience. However in the past few weeks, eight of the men she had kissed were
found dead within a matter of days.

When one of the men developing a secret bomb meant to end world war 2 by the name of Danton was discovered dead, this drew the attention of army intelligence who were sent to investigate Glamora. Bringing her in for questioning, Glamora passed a lie detector test after explaining that she had nothing to do with the murders and had no idea what happened to those murdered men.

With poison found in their systems, Philip Darnell was convinced she must be using some sort of poisoned lipstick to kill her targets, and sent Diana Prince and Steve Trevor to investigate the Aloha Club.

When Steve enters however, he is immediately recognized by Greedi Kruder, owner of the Aloha Club. Visiting Glamora his lead singer, he orders her to kiss Steve Trevor at the end of her show, as he was picking out specific people in the crowds for her to focus upon.

Glamora rather suspicious and nervous after being questioned by the military, refuses to do so, declaring that she had no intention of kissing anyone at her shows ever again, for fear that another death may be linked to her.

Greedi enraged, ordered Glamora's understudy to take care of her and the singer suddenly found a rag covered in choloroform over her face, and was rendered unconcious, to be carted off to the secret sub basement beneath the Aloha club...

Day 336: Flora Musica
Wife of Maurice Musica, the murderer of Eric Tones, Flora served as a witness against Tom Helfin, accusing him of the vile deed at her husbands request.

Wonder Woman upon finding out that Toms lawyer had been paid by Flora, the witness who claimed Tom had shot the singer, asked Steve to invite her to the Emerald Arena in order to prove her involvement.

The Emerald Arena is a night club that draws in crowds with its 'Crime and Punishment floor show' an act in which the owner of the club offers people a hundred dollars if they can beat his lie detector test. In reality however, what he actually has is a simple buzzer that goes off with the press of a button, allowing him to swindle people with his show.

Diana well aware of this, snuck into the Emerald Arena and connected a real lie detector to the chair and monitoring the results from a supply closet, Diana fed Steve questions based on Flora Musicas answers.

Thus after the club owner had a plant pretend to win the lie detector test, Wonder Woman activated the real lie detector test and left it to Steve who convinced the owner to let him use it on Flora with a small bribe to help move things along.

And thus Flora who had been convinced to attend the club with Steve went to try out the lie detector, having been promised a dance with Steve Trevor if she could pass it.

And the questions began.

Have you done anything without your husbands knowledge?

Did you lie about anything important recently?

Has your husband done something wrong?

Did you witness a murder?

And through the use of the lie detector, the truth came out! Flora was agast and denied it all, and vanished into the restroom, unaware of the troubles that would befall her...

Day 337: Nadine, Eve, and Claire

Lackies of Greedi Kruder, the trio on the surface are simply a make up artist and a pair of waitresses who work at the Aloha Club.

In reality however, the three of them are the lynch pin to Kruders villainous scheme!

Nadine serving as a make up artist, will treat Glamora and when necessary, other singers with a salve on their lips, followed by a poisonous lipstick which contains a drug which will make people lose consciousness in a matter of minutes.

Thus after using the singers as unwitting pawns to drug specific people in the audience, Eve and Claire will lie in wait, keeping an eye on their target until he falls over unconscious. Then pretending to simply be doing their job, they go to their target and acting as if their simply escorting a drunk to the back to lie down, they carry the drugged man into the subbasement hidden beneath the cellar where they are locked away in a cell for Kruders true plan.

But with Glamora suspicious and refusing to follow through, they were forced to take drastic measures in an order to keep Steve Trevor from finding out their plans. Thus Nadine applied the poisoned lipstick to Claires lips and the waitress proceeded to run up to Steve and leaping at him, delivered a kiss meant to render him unconscious!

With Steve slumping over in her arms, Eve helped her to drag Steve away to the sub basement, just like the others.

However, there was a teeny tiny insignificant flaw in their plan that they did not quite anticipate. For Steve Trevor did not enter the Aloha Club alone in his investigation. Indeed, he was being escorted by Diana Prince who seeing the two waitresses carry off Steve, simply followed along in order to solve this little mystery.

Day 338: Maurice Musica

Leader of a grand orchestra which plays on the radio, Maurice would serve as little more than background music for the singers the station would get for its program, much to the adulation of adoring audiences.

Maurice loathed singers like Eric Tones whom he felt took all the glory and fame when Maurice 'did all the work' Complaining to the station manage and demanding his own time slot, he was denied, and was told he could have a spot if there was an emergency and they had no one to fill in.

Thus a plot began to develop in the mind of Musica who decided that to gain the fame and glory he so desired someone would have to die!

Thus he began to follow singer Eric Tones for weeks on end until he saw Eric getting into a fight with Tom Helfin. Seeing this as an opportunity, Maurice called his wife and having her serve as a witness to Tom murdering Eric, Maurice called Eric Tones and told him that Kit Carlin was waiting for him at the studio. And when Eric arrived, Maurice shot him from behind, killing him.

And so Maurice framed Tom, arranged for his wife to hire the dirty lawyer, killed the lawyer when he refused to cooperate, and proceeded to have the time of his life as he was now leading in the time slot left by Eric Tones. Complications aside, Maurice was convinced he had succeeded and that his plan had worked!

However a few days later, a guitar player came into the studio by the name of Billy Ballad, having been contacted to take over the gap in programming left by Eric Tones.

Maurice Musica screamed that he deserved that time slot, that he had earned it, but the manager was adamant, and Maurice Musicas scheme was for naught.

And later that evening he received a call from Nadine, a hired hand at the Emerald Arena who had been hired to play along on the false lie detector test. After her boss stiffed her on the bill, Nadine fumed and seeing Flora's confession on the lie detector, Nadine hatched a plan to make a scene at the Emerald Arena to get back at her boss. Thus she contacted Maurice Musica and told him about Flora Musicas confession about her husbands involvement, expecting him to run in raging and screaming.

Maurice was furious and seeing himself behind bars if he failed to silence both Tom Helfin and his own wife, the mad composer took drastic measures.

Poisoning a bottle of wine and having it sent to Tom Helfin in prison addressed to Kit Carlin, Maurice drove to the Emerald Arena and lay in wait for his wife outside the club.

Seeing her, He grabbed Flora and stuffed her into his trunk and began speeding off, planning to drive out of town, kill his wife, and bury her where no one would ever find the body!

Fortunately before Maurice could even pass the block, Wonder Woman arrived to save the day! Having given chase after Flora to question her in detail, she saw the poor woman being stuffed in the trunk and rushed to her rescue! Picking up the vehicle, Wonder Woman ran down the street with it to the police station and setting it down, she pulled out Maurice Musica and presented him to law enforcement before tearing off the trunk door and revealing Flora Musica who tearfully confessed to her husbands doings and her own role in his fiendish plot.

Day 339: Professor Karma

Holliday college professor in the field of dream psychology, Professor Karma is the inventor of the Astroscope, a device not dissimilar to a stobe lamp, with the means of pulling the astral form of an unconscious individual from their bodies and sending that astral form to the astral plane WITH SCIENCE!

The Astral plane being a realm where thought, concept, dream and idea are tangible and real, it is a place where ideas are born and imaginations foster new worlds. A place of infinite scale but no distance to speak of. Traveling through the astral plane can send you across the universe with a few steps, or into the dreams of another living soul. And from the astral plane is born all of reality and the concepts that are contained within it from physics to life itself.

Professor Karma knowing this, invented the Astroscope to explore the Astral plane though with a smaller goal in mind. He wished to understand what effects the human subconcious has upon the formation of the astral plane, and in turn what effects the astral plane has upon humanity itself.

What he found was whole worlds populated by billions of people who through all manner of tests, were living breathing humans (among other things) who were indecernable from himself in every way. He found realms where physics did not work as they ought to, and concepts which simply did not exist in reality as he knew it.

He also found that using the Astroscope it was possible to walk into the worlds of other peoples dreams, and through this, he was able to make a study of their dreams and make determinations about their psychological make up based on the results he found.

While his exploration of the astral plane only left him with more questions, it was a great boon to his study of dreams and the human subconcious.

Day 340: Greedi Kruder

Owner of the Aloha club, Greedi Kruder is a criminal nare do well who hatched upon a villainous scheme. Using his club as a front, he would lure in people of wealth and import and drugging them, he would drag them down into his basement where using drugs that would make those individuals more willing to divulge information and act compliant, he would force people to reveal secrets and financial information, allowing him to rob them blind.

Then Greedi would have them take a deadly poison and having his bouncers dress up as policemen, they would drag the dead body off into a paddy wagon Greedi had stolen, and drive the body off to some random location to dump, passing unnoticed as no one would suspect law enforcement of involving themselves in a murder.

Having left Glamora caged in one of the jail cells that Greedi had installed into the sub-basement, he proceeded to have Steve thoroughly drugged, intending to find out what army intelligence knew about his operation.

However before Greedi could begin his questioning, who should arrive but Wonder Woman! She demanded that Greedi let Steve go and come quietly, to which Greedi demanded Wonder Woman surrender least he shoot Steve dead!

Glamora knowing Greedi was serious, threw her shoe at the light switch, turning off the lights and in the darkness, Wonder Woman grabbed Greedi and bound him and his goons up with the magic lasso!

And with that, Glamora and Steve were saved, Greedis criminal operation came to an end, and the day was saved!

Day 341: Calla

An every day ordinary American human, Calla was a mild mannered telephone operator until the day she was pulled underground by king Blakfu of the mole people. Forced to serve under the blind albino people with retractable digging claws, Calla would work underground fields and tend to the injured, as many of the most basic skills became to difficult for the mole people to handle due to evolutionary mishaps which made it difficult for them to even survive as a species.

Instead of pondering a means of escape, Calla was instead focused on discovering a means to help the mole people on a larger scale. She developed functional electrical lighting that would help plant life flourish underground. She devised a means of more efficient irrigation using plumbing. And she strove to do what she could to genuinely help the mole people survive.

Calla's efforts did not go unnoticed, as King Blakfu, ruler of the mole people was captivated by Calla's brilliance and her genuine concern for the well being of his people which he treasured above all else. However as a king, he felt that he did not have the right to act on his feelings, and had no choice but to continue with his plans for world domination for the good of his people.

However when Wonder Woman arrived to rescue lost women who had been dragged underground, she discovered the plight of the mole people and devised a solution of her own! Knowing that the mole people had lost alot of their dependence due to blindness which had struck all of the mole people alongside their pale skin which burned in the sub light, white hair, and other albino symptoms, Wonder Woman made use of her medical training and performed an operation on King Blakfu, restoring his eyesight.

The first thing Blakfu laid eyes upon in his life was the face of Calla and on the spot, Blakfu pleaded with her to stand by his side, and aid him in ruling the mole people with compassion and devotion to the well being of the people.

Calla agreed and after Wonder Woman restored the eyesight of all mole people and training their doctors in how to do the operation themselves, Calla bid goodbye to the other humans who had been pulled down into the mole kingdom, happily choosing to spend her days by his side as queen of the mole people.

342: Kit Carlin

Talented artist who was in the advert business, Kit Carlin was an adventurous youth with a love of sports, Kit would always best the boys in any game, including her childhood friend Tom Helfin who in later years would become her boyfriend.

When Tom left for the war, he broke up with her without explaining why, and Kit instead of mooning after him, moved on and began dating Eric Tones, a singer whom she met during a commission for the radio station Eric worked at, developing advert posters for his show.

The two of them really hitting it off, Eric supported her work and soon enough she was doing posters advertising war bonds while his career was taking off with a record deal

Then Tom returned and outraged to see Kit had moved on with her life after he dumped her, he tried to force himself into her life.

Eric would end up dead, and Tom framed for his murder, and Kit was left unsure what to do as her childhood friend and ex boyfriend was being framed for a crime he didn't commit. She would get Wonder Woman to help and while she dealt with the case, Kit went to confront her former love and find out why he had his cranium up his posterior when he dumped her in the first place.

To this, Tom explained that he had seen so many women pining after their lovers after they died in the war that they never moved on, and he didn't want that to happen to Kit. Admitting he was in the wrong to act the way he did and still expect them to be in a relationship, he apologized and asked her if they could start all over.

Kit accepted, but made it clear to Tom that he had no right to break off their relationship on a whim because he worried about how she would react to things, and the two would go on to reconcile.

Day 343: Rowena Britton

Time traveling daughter of Queen Boudica who came to the present with Wonder Woman after she helped Boudica drive off the romans from the island, Rowena spent time on Paradise Island with the Amazons, content as could be. But she could not help but be curious for how the modern world differed from her own time period.

Thus with Wonder Womans help, Rowena flew to the mainland on the invisible jet and meeting a school teacher whom Wonder Woman was acquainted with, Rowena was soon enrolled into Sound Branch high school.

There, Rowena socialized with others, took to history with much interest, particularly in regards to the section on her mother who upon driving off the Romans, proceeded to form the mighty celtic nation which stands to this day. Making friends and taking to this modern world, Rowena eventually fell for a fellow student by the name of Biffton Jones, and the two of them would go on to graduate and go to college.

Rowena would go on to major in history and declared that she wished to become a school teacher, and share the joy of learning with others.

It cannot be mentioned enough how in Wonder Womans golden age, how greatly education and learning was stressed upon as a major driving force for Wonder Woman and her supporting cast. That Wonder Womans efforts to better the world were as much about educating people to know better as through learning would people discover that peace is logically the only real answer.

Day 344: Hercules (Golden Age)

Son of Zeus, Greek legend, man blessed with incredible strength. Within the Wonder Woman mythos, Hercules is an integral figure who despite rarely actually interacting with Wonder Woman herself, has left a mark upon her history which echoes across every version of her story.

In the golden age, Hercules was a hero among men and the leader of powerful armies. Approached by Mars, he was convinced to conquer the Amazonian nation of Amazonia for its wealth and riches.

Thus leading his armies, he waged war upon the Amazons who retreated into their capital city of Themiscyra. There Hercules focused his forces but stepping forth from behind those walls alone was Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons. Wielding the enchanted girdle bestowed upon her by Aphrodite which made her invulnerable and guaranteed success for her and her people.

Hercules convinced of his superiority attacked Hippolyta, only for the queen of the Amazons to block the strike of his sword, knock it from his hands, and effortlessly overpowered him as she twisted his arm behind his back and demanded he surrender.

Hercules frightened by her power, admitted defeat but concocting a plan, he begged for her forgiveness and declared that he had fallen for her due to her incredible strength, professing that he loved anyone who could best him in battle. Declaring that he wished to adopt the Amazonian ways of love and peace, he asked to join her.

Hippolyta touched, accepted his offer and Hercules went to his army, claiming he was sending them away when in reality he was ordering them to go into hiding just outside of the borders of Amazonia.

For months, Hercules would wait on Hippolyta hand and food. Cooking her meals, serenading her with song, doing everything he could to prove he had reformed.

One day when Hipppolyta was by herself, Aphrodite the goddess of love visited the queen of the Amazons and warned Hippolyta that Hercules bore no love for her, and that his heart was filled with deceit. Hippolyta however refused to belive Aphrodite, having fallen in love with Hercules and one day, when Hercules asked Hippolyta to remove her enchanted girdle, she accepted and took it off.

Smiling, Hercules then proceeded to reach towards her and...Grabbed the girdle! The son of Zeus then proceeded to run for the border, screaming 'ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!' and on his orders, the armies he had assembled came out from hiding and waged war upon the Amazons. With their leader Hercules now wearing the enchanted girdle, they were unstopable.


Tearing through the nation of Amazonia, they razed villages and captured the citizens. Soon, the capital city of Themisyra was lit aflame and its people in chains to become slaves for Hercules army, just as Mars had hoped.

Hippolyta cursing herself for her foolishness, prayed to Aphrodite, pleading to her for help. And thus Aphrodite arrived, waggling a finger and declaring that she had told Hippolyta so, and scolded the queen of the Amazons for not listening to her. (And presumably scolding her for not calling enough, and asking if she was eating right)

Hippolyta beseeched Aphrodite to rescue them, to break them free of their chains so that herself and her people could escape Hercules and his men.

Aphrodite declared that she would give the Amazons the power to break free of their own chains this one time, but swore that evermore should an Amazon allow a man to chain her, they would be robbed of their strength just as Hippolyta had when she gave Hercules her power.

Thus with that, the Amazons felt a momentary burst of strength as Aphrodite guided them to channel their mental energy into their muscles, allowing them to break their chains, though not the bracelets which had been used to bind them. Bursting from their prison, the Amazons fought their way free from Hercules armies, heading for the docks which survived the burning.


But seeing the attempted flight, Hercules arrived and stood between them and their escape. Hippolyta stepping forward, challenged Hercules and thus began a terrific battle of wills as Hippolyta was far stronger than Hercules, but he posessed the girdle which made him unstopable. But thanks to her incredible skill and training, Hippolyta was able to remove the girdle from Hercules and with that, she picked him up and sent him hurtling into the distance towards the ocean.

And thus with the Amazons escaping to Paradise Island at Aphrodites will, Hercules would swim back to shore and finding the treasures they had amassed gone with the Amazons themselves, swore all of his army to never speak of that day, not wanting it to be revealed that he had lost twice to Queen Hippolyta and that in the end he had nothing to show for it.

And he would go on to have his better known history, and meet an untimely end of poisoning by his third wife.

Day 345: Alta

Amazon of Paradise Island and mother to wee Amazonette Kara whom she made from clay, Alta is an Amazon with a love of diving and swimming, enjoying the thrill of leaping into the ocean and paddling through the waves.

One day when Alta was about to leap from a hundred foot cliff to the ocean below she spied a ship a mere hundred miles from Paradise Islands coast. Curious about this as ships rarely ventured so close, Alta dived into the ocean and swam over to the cruise ship. Seeing her in the ocean, people on board the ship pointed at her, exclaiming that someone had fallen overboard and began scrambling for life preservers.

Alta laughing at how excitable the people on board were, began swimming laps around the ship in bemusement, waving at the people above as she showed off, doing a back stroke as she covered dozens of laps in under a minute.

However so distracted was Alta that she did not look where she was going and managed to ram her head into the ships rotor, causing a nasty bump and knocking her unconscious.

Rescued by sailors on the ship, Alta was carried on board but when they tried to question her, Alta revealed that the blow to the head gave her...Amnesia!

With nobody knowing she was an Amazon of Paradise Island including herself, she was treated as a jane doe and the ship intended to take her to their destination where she could be presented to the proper authorities who might identify her.

Thus the ship sailed, eventually arriving in New York City. Seeing the large city, Alta was awed by the tall buildings, but more so by the Statue of Liberty which she assumed must be the statue of the cities patron goddess.

Seeing Alta filled with wonder, the ships doctor Guy Nester falls for her and hatches a plot. As they arrived, he would take her himself but rather than escort her to the proper authorities, he plotted to take her to a church and make her marry him, taking advantage of her amnesiac confusion to make her his!

Approaching her, Guy put his arm on her shoulder and attempted to hit on her. However Alta was so repulsed by this that she leaped into the ocean and swam as fast as she could to escape the creep!

Arriving ashore, Alta looked around. Lost and confused, she began to explore this strange city, trying to figure out who she was...

Day 346: Chic Novelle

Younger sister of mayor Rita Novelle, Chic was a young girl fresh out of school with moxie and a desire to make a difference! Aiding her sisters campaign by getting the word out and heading efforts to spread word to the people, Chic narrowly avoided being killed by the criminal fiends attempting to doom her sisters campaign.

Carrying a torch for Seldom Wright, journalist for the fearless men magazine, Chic stood by him despite his backwards views. When it was discovered that the villain leading the gang was none other than Crymynyl Leeder, leader of the gang and owner of the Fearless Men magazine, Seldom became disillusioned and quit his job which soon fell apart after losing its star journalist and entire editorial staff.

Chic however was not about to give up! Inspired by Wonder Woman and how she saved Rita from the villainous criminal leader Crymynyl Leeder, Chic decided to invest her savings into starting 'Courageous Women Magazine' A magazine which would cover the brave women of the world past and present, and chronicle their awesome badassery.

Seldom Wright hearing of Chics efforts and likewise impressed by Wonder Womans efforts, asks Chic for a job and working together, the two of them began one of the most famous magazines in the world!

Day 347: Hercules Herman
Strongman of the New York circus, Herman or Hercules Herman as he goes by on stage, is a man who is so strong that he boasts the ability to pick up a fully grown horse and lift it over his head!

Alta wandering aimlessly through the city is spotted by a police officer who questions her state of dress. Seeing Alta was bewildered, the police officer hailed her a cab and paid in advance, asking the cabbie to take her home.

But Alta suffering from amnesia, had no idea where that was and thus the cabbie simply dropped her off on the opposite side of town. Looking around in an effort to jog her memory, Alta caught sight of a poster advertising Hercules Hermans strongman act in the circus. Alta still unable to remember her past, had a nagging feeling that the name 'Hercules' had some significance to her past and thus she headed to the circus to ask if anyone there knew her.

But while Alta was talking with the circus master, tragedy struck when a clowns unicycle exploded, sending them flying onto the ground before a running elephant!
Alta seeing the poor unfortunate, ran over and picked up the elephant to keep it from harming anyone, gaining quite a bit of attention for her effort.

Awed by this feat of string that made Hercules Herman look like a chump, the circus master convinced Alta to join the circus, promising to help her find out her identity in the meantime. Alta accepted and thus she went on to replace Herman as the circus strongman, leaving him without a job.

Later that day the circus opened and Alta was front and center, juggling a quartet of elephants before an awed audience! Herman, having remained in the circus despite being fired was furious and determined to kill Alta out of revenge!

Thus while everyone was focused on Alta, Herman snuck over to the animal pens, dragged the tiger cage to the big top tent, and opened the cage, sending the circus tigers running into the attraction, straight at Alta who had her hands full juggling elephants who she could not set down without hurting!
