Year of Wonder Woman

Day 249: Paddy Gypso
Chief of the...American gypsy tribe, Paddy Gypso is a villainous man who desiring the heart of a gypsy woman by the name of Tama, declared that he would become 'king of the gypsies' allowing him to command any gypsy to do whatever he wants...

His only rival being Dion Boru, a blond haired blue eyed 'gypsy' with a chiseled jaw and very scandenavian features. The two fought for the hand of Tama and in the end, Paddy Gypso murdered Dion Boru by stabbing him in the back.

Discovering this, Tama sent a letter to Wonder Woman asking her for help but was shortly after kidnapped by Paddy Gypso who took her and all the gypsies to the 'gypsy homeland of Ireland'

Wonder Woman would arrive at the fixed address of the gypsy camp to find all of their wagons and belongings left behind, along with the body of Dion Boru. Hurrying him to Paula Von Gunthers lab, she used both the resurrection machine and the purple ray on him to no avail, for he had been dead for to long.

So instead Wonder Woman used the brain auditor, which allowed her to read the memories of another person, and scanned the moments before his death. Through this, she discovered that all of the wolds gypsies would return to 'their homeland of Gilrocks Glen Galghary, Ireland' where all the worlds gypsies would compete in a boxing match to decide who would become king of the gypsies.

By the time Wonder Woman arrived, Paddy Gypso had defeated every other Gypsy in the world in one on one boxing matches with the exception of the dead Dion Boru, and had Tama held captive in a tiger cage with the help of his henchman Georgio.

Wonder Woman would arrive, rescue Tama, and ride upon the backs of the tigers who she had taken a liking to on her way to the boxing ring where she would use the magic lasso to make paddy Gypso confess to his crimes.

And then someone uses 'gypsy magic' to somehow bring Dion Boru back to life so that he can become 'king of the gypsies'

Day 250: Bertram Harsh
A criminologist with a rather cynical view on the human condition, Bertram Harsh grew up in a rather violent household where he would regularly be beaten for not behaving, for not getting good grades, for not doing all of his chores, and for generally being in the way.

He would develop the view that assault and brutality are the key means to creating a model citizen, and insist that you need to break someones spirit so that they will never dare to break the law.

When Suzan Patience approached Govenor Ira about her ideas for criminal reform, this enraged Bertram who declared that it went against his entire ideology. Thus he swore that in order to prove that you need to beat and abuse people to become model citizens just as he had been beaten and abused to be molded into a model citizen, he would commit crimes and frame them on Suzans inmates!

Thus hiring a gang of hitmen, he would get his hands on RX madness gas. Sneaking into the prison at night, he would pump it into the ventilation shafts in order to drive the prisoners to violent madness!
Then ordering his men to gun down anyone who tries to escape, he smugly declares that he can blame the whole thing on the prisoners becoming violent, and thus prove that criminal reform does not work.

What Bertram did not count on however was Wonder Woman! For wanting to help Suzan achieve her efforts, Diana had chosen to spend the night at the prison and help her in efforts of criminal reform. Awakening to the sound of violence, Wonder Woman quickly identified the RX gas in the air.

Having spent the last several months training and developing a resistance to madness related gasses after a previous encounter with something similar, Wonder Woman secured everyone in the prison and walked outside to investigate, only to discover a hail of bullets!

The hitmen expecting this to be an easy job, were shocked when Wonder Woman arrived, deflecting their bullets with ease. Bertram, horrified that Wonder Woman had arrived, ran back to his car and began lighting sticks of dynamite to throw at Wonder Woman!

Thus it became a game of Wonder Woman deflecting bullets from ten different shooters while catching sticks of dynamite and tossing them miles into the air where they could do no harm. Eventually all of the commotion would attract police just as Bertram and his criminals ran out of bullets and dynamite.

But before they could make their escape, Wonder Woman handily lasso'd the lot of them, and much to Bertram Harsh's humiliation, Diana pointed out that he was proof that abuse and harsh behavior only hardened criminals and increased their violent criminal behavior.

And so it was that Governer denounced the violent ways of Bertram Harsh and applauded Suzans methods of criminal reform.

Day 251: Mick Mcduff, Grubber Gaff, and Pik Socket
A wicked trio who had formed a sophisticated smuggling organization which stole arms and munitions from the military to sell on the black market, the three of them were confident that nothing could foil their operation, for they were careful to bribe the right people to fudge the numbers for them.

What they did not count on however was that Army intelligence at regular intervals gives every scrap of paperwork and missive to Diana Prince to sort through due to her inhuman ability to sift through a years worth of records in a single day, and spot inaccuracies and funny figures.

Thus upon finding out about the vanishing munitions, Diana told Phillip Darnell what was going on, and changing into Wonder Woman, went to gnab the criminals behind it all!

The trio behind the whole scheme narrowly escape, but not without losing all of their men and fortunes. On the run and desperate for revenge, they swear revenge against both Wonder Woman who took their smuggling operation apart, and Diana Prince for uncovering it.

So kidnapping Diana Prince, they use her as a hostage to grab Phillip Darnell and Steve Trevor. The kidnappers with the trio in tow, gloat that they will recoup their losses and get their revenge!

However everyone could not help but notice that Diana Prince through the entire thing would not stop smiling...Pik Socket unsettled by this, pointed his gun at Diana Prince but when he fired...Wonder Woman leaped inbetween Diana Prince and the villains, deflecting the bullet!

For in reality, the nefarious trio had kidnapped Robot Diana Prince by mistake!
Wonder Woman with the help of Philip Darnell, Robot Diana Prince, and Steve Trevor quickly apprehended the criminals and with that, the criminal careers of Pik Socket, Grubber Gave, and Mick Mcguff had come to an end.

Day 252: King Brutall
The brutal king of the radium giants. A race of forty foot tall radioactive giant men whose presence can destroy life and whose touch can bring death.

Created by Ares with the purpose of bringing about death and destruction, King Brutall and his men were charged with the duty of destroying Paradise Island and the Amazons!

But unable to reach the island by sky or air thanks to Aphrodites defenses, they devised a plan to tunnel beneath the Earths surface and come up on the island to wreak havoc!

But they did not count on the Limestone Girls and their efforts to guard the isle and its residents from danger! For King Brutall found his men waylaid at every turn by the limestone girls who able to sense the radium giants by the radiation they emanated, would seal caverns and cause cave ins to keep the Radium Giants trapped in the lower levels. Going so far as to create a cavernous ceiling which even the height of the radium giants would be incapable of scaling to reach the surface world!

But King Brutall being a villainous mind, concocted a plan and invented cloaks which would conceal their radioactive forms, erasing their radioactive footprint. Using this, King Brutal sent his men to capture the limestone Girls with the intention of enslaving them to fly his radium giants to the surface world so they could bring destruction and ruin to all life once they erupted forth from the volcano on Paradise Island!

Day 253: Princess Elva

Princess of the Limestone Girls and daughter of Queen Lovelee, Elva is a girl who was born the very same day as Princess Diana of the Amazons.

Gifted with the same beauty and longevity that Aphrodite blesses to Amazon and Limestone girl alike, Princess Elva enjoys flying through the cavernous underground on her shining golden wings for fun.

One day, she happened to see an adventurous young lass her own age falling down from the surface and catching her, Elva discovered a friend in Diana!

The two princesses would become fast friends, telling eachother stories, sharing experiences in their short five year long lives, and getting into the kind of mischief reserved to princesses of such epic legacies.

The pair would go on thrilling adventures and play tricks on the villainous Radium giants who attempted to conquer the Limestone Girls and claim Paradise Island. They would steal radiation proof cloaks and use them to foil King Brutalls evil schemes!

And when they were not doing that, the two would visit one anothers homes, spend the night over, tell spooky stories, and enjoy the local culture. Such as a game of florescent marbles in the Limestone caverns. Or enjoying the great Amazonian invention of ice cream cake.

The close friendship of the two girls led to the two nations making contact with one another and forming a peaceful alliance of love and peace.

Princess Elva is one of Dianas earliest and dearest friends, and the first example of Dianas talents at diplomacy and building bridges between differing peoples.

I really wish they would bring her back into Wonder Womans mythos as a childhood friend of Diana is something that would be very adorable to see explored more.

Day 254: Mary Dean

A doctor at global laboratories, Mary Dean is a philanthropist whose dedicated her career to using science for the betterment of mankind. Her focus on size formulas, Mary Dean became focused on her brilliant plan, to do away with germs.

To do this, Mary invented 'Reduso liquid' a concoction which when used, will shrink things down so they are a thousandth of their original size!

Mary's plan is to use her reduso liquid on germs, and shrink them further to a size where they would be incapable of affecting the human body!

This unorthodox method Mary has devised is her plan to counter diseases before they can start, in the possible event that they somehow develop an immunity to Etta Candys cure to all disease. For at a small enough size, even germs would be ineffective at affecting the human body.

Unfortunately for Mary, her fiance Roy Dirke is set on using her brilliant invention for war. Citing its military potential and declaring that with such a concotion, whole countries could be shrunk and stamped under foot by a single man.

He attempted to convince Mary to sell off her reduso liquid to one of the many war mongers of the world, but Mary would not hear of it. Declaring that her scientific discovery would be used to better the world for she wished to leave the world better off than when she entered it.

But Roy, furious at his fiance's philanthropy and driven by greed, decided to take matters into his own hands. Thus stealing away into Marys lab, he stole the reduso liquid and used it on Mary Dean, shrinking her to a millimeter in height! Intending to then crush her to death, he soon lost sight of her, for Mary had become lost in the dense carpeting of the room where she hid away for safety in the hope of rescue.

Day 255: King Ersatz

King of the kingdom of Schizofrenia, a nation bordering France in the 1500s, King Ersatz was the latest in a long line of people suffering from terrible mental disorders which led to a fair amount of instability.

Seeing Frances barony of Baronia bordering his lands, King Ersatz decided it simply must belong to him and declared it would be easy as him saying so, with France not raising a word of objection. Doing this, King Ersatz was convinced he could simply claim all the wealth of France in the process.

Despite his manic reasoning, his strategy for claiming Baronia was quite sound. Upon the death of the Baron and the title being passed on to the fiance of Baron Dubois's daughter Annette, King Ersatz devised a plan and drawing Count Gaston, brother of the deceased baron to his court, King Ersatz offered him the title of duke within his own nation and the influence it rendered, if Gaston would serve him.

The greedy Gaston agreed and under King Ersatz's instruction, he arranged for Annette to be spirited away, and sent her to Ersatz's dungeons, leaving Philippe, her fiance, all alone. Gaston would then whisper in Philippe's ear, telling him about King Ersatz's gorgeous daughter princess Hyeenia and her 'beautiful' laugh. Working to try and convince Phillippe to marry her instead, so that King Ersatz could have a hold on the Barony and in his mind, claim it for himself.

However Phillippe having given his heart to Annette and her alone, swore to marry no one else and prepared an exhibition, declaring that he would travel all of Europe to find his lost love so they may be reunited!

Hearing this, Gaston alerted King Ersatz who furious at this rejection of his daughter, ordered Gaston to lock Phillippe away!

So using a few of the kings knights, Gaston captured the prince and locked him away in a tower, claiming he had succumbed to madness and needed to be kept under the watchful supervision of a physician until his recovery.

And thus with Phillippe gone, Gaston declared that he was named regent, and began taking the people of Baronia to the point of despair, funneling the money to King Ersatz who declared that no one could stop him now!

Wonder Woman Character of the Day

Day 256: Eviless

Saturnite from planet Saturn, Eviless was a spy in service to Mephisto Saturno during his attempt to conquer Earth, though was also secretly a slaver responsible for kidnapping thousands of Earthlings using channels such as Hypnota, and having them shipped to the planet Saturn.

Eviless through years of training in Saturnite secret service, has developed perfect body control, allowing her to control every single aspect of her bodies functions. This not only makes her a skilled fighter, but it also lead to her developing the mental power to manipulate perception.

She cannot make things invisible, but she psychically send a compulsion to those around her, suggesting they don't look at something. She cannot force others to do her bidding, but so long as someone is not specifically focusing on what she is trying to conceal, they will not notice it.

Eviless is a cold blooded Saturnite who cares for nothing but wealth. Lacking in any form of morallity or social nicety which she views as a frivolous exercise, Eviless sees herself as a businesswoman whose simply trying to make a profit.

Despite crossing paths with Wonder Woman multiple times in the past, Eviless always slipped away. Little did Wonder Woman know that Eviless was a villian who was even more dangerous than Mars himself. The villain who would conquer Paradise Island come closer than anyone to ending the Amazons once and for all.

When Duke Saturno began recruiting people to aid him in the destruction of Earth, Eviless immediately volunteered. Angry at Wonder Woman for foiling her attempts to kidnap Steve Trevor as her pleasure slave, and at the arrest of Hypnota which saw her slave rings collapse, Eviless wanted revenge upon Wonder Woman who repeatedly foiled her schemes in the name of concepts which Eviless found to foreign to even recognize.

Finally captured along with Duke Saturno, Eviless recalled reading about Wonder Womans penchant for attempting to reform her enemies into productive members of society. Well aware that she was the greatest of Saturns criminals, who the Emperor of Saturn would not hesitate to have executed if she was turned over to authorities, Eviless spoke up, pleading with Wonder Woman to send herself and her platoon to Reform Island, declaring their desire to be reformed.

Wonder Woman believing Eviless to be sincere, agreed and restraining the Saturnites, Wonder Woman transported them to Reform Island in her invisible plane. The entire time Eviless plotted, searching for a way to escape or turn the tables. Upon arriving, Eviless saw her chance when Wonder Woman was distracted speaking to Mala. Swiping the magic lasso from Wonder Womans belt, Eviless slipped it into the lining of her outfit without anyone noticing. Wonder Woman then left, swimming off to Paradise Island to greet her mother.

Mala then turned her attention to Eviless and presented a refined Venus girdle. After much experimentation, the Amazons were able to alter the affects of the Venusians girdle, allowing them to place it on dangerous criminals so they could do no harm, with no possibility of violent withdrawals. Using this on the most dangerous of Wonder Womans foes would allow them to interact with others without any risks to the safety of others or themselves until the criminal progressed enough in their reform that such measures were unnecessary.

Eviless seeing the belt, knew that her plans would be dashed were she to put it on. Thus at will, Eviless stopped her own heart, ceased her pulse, commanded her body to lower its temperature by ten degrees, ceased her breathing, and feigned unconsciousness.

Mala checking on Eviless, panicked and left the room for help, leaving Eviless alone with the girdle. Revealing a lock pick hidden in her mouth, Eviless used it to break the lock on the girdle so that she would be able to simply pull it off when she chose. Placing the girdle back where she found it, Eviless returned to where she collapsed just in time as Wonder Woman arrived carrying the refrigerator sized purple ray machine for use on Eviless who suddenly sprang up the moment it was turned on and claimed that she had a medical condition which caused these sudden bouts of her body shutting down.

Skeptical but not thoroughly trained in Saturnite biology, Mala and Diana accepted this and Eviless was soon fitted with the Venus Girdle which would compell its wearer to obey any command. It was then however that Wonder Woman realized her magic lasso was missing!

Searching the room, Wonder Woman and Mala were naturally quite concerned about its disappearance. Eviless used every ounce of her mental power to avoid confessing to the crime due to the venus girdles influence. Only saved by the fact that neither Diana or Mala asked her to do so.

In the end after combing the room, the ocean currents, both Paradise Island, and Reform Island did Diana give up her search. And only because she left for the Island of Evil where she had defeated Duke Saturno, recalling that she last used it to capture him!

With Wonder Woman gone from the island and attention no longer on her, Eviless compelled herself to remove the girdle, freeing her from its influence to do no harm, obey commands, and strive to be helpful to others.

Freed of the venus girdle, Eviless removed the magic lasso from the lining of her uniform and waiting for an opportunity to strike, she lasso'd Mala, putting the great Amazon under her control! Using the magic lasso, Eviless commanded Mala to free her platoon of Saturnites, and remove their venus girdles.

With the Saturnites thus freed, Eviless placed a venus girdle on Mala so she would be forced to obey commands even without the lasso. Thus, she had Mala begin calling in people on the Island one at a time so that Eviless could restrain them with the magic lasso while her Saturnite troops outfitted them with Venus girdles.

Thus, Eviless had taken Reform Island.

However, Eviless knew that for all her success thus far, she was helpless before Wonder Woman. Even with the magic lasso and her platoon of Saturnites, Wonder Woman would effortlessly be able to defeat them and rescue the Amazons of Reform Island.

So Eviless looked to those held by the Amazons. She commanded Mala to name the most evil and heartless of Wonder Womans enemies held on the island. Those who resisted reform and would without a second would sacrifice any hope of reform if it meant accomplishing their villainous goals.

Having them brought to her, Eviless asked the greatest of Wonder Womans enemies if they would deny reform. Would throw away any hope of redemption for the sake of ending Wonder Womans life. And despite the venus girdles which compelled them to seek otherwise, as a one they said yes. Thus, Eviless freed them, and made them an offer.

Join her 'business venture' and help her to enslave the Amazons and kill Wonder Woman, and she would cut them in as partners in her newest enterprise. Already forming plans of selling the enslaved Amazons and their valuable technology to the greatest villains of the universe.

They agreed, and thus Eviless declared the formation of Villainy Inc! The first supervillain group in history. While many villains had henchmen, very few were willing to work with one another and never more than that. However in the face of Wonder Woman, the greatest Superhero the universe has ever known, the greatest of villains were going to gain the attention of supervillains across the globe for showing that in the face of great heroes, evil can triumph if it bands together!

Its members were among the most dangerous of criminals Wonder Woman had ever faced. And not a one of them would hesitate at the chance to destroy her.

Cheetah, the vengeful woman possessed by her own spirit of envy. With the ferocity of a cheetah and the grace of a dancer.

Queen Clea of the Atlantean nation of Venturia. A giant of a woman who rivaled Wonder Woman in strength and skill.

Giganta the ape woman. Whose terrific strength made her more powerful than Wonder Woman herself.

Hypnota the master hypnotist. Whose mental powers allowed her to command anyone he made eye contact with to do his bidding.

Doctor Poison the master chemist of Japan. Whose specialization in behavioral modifying drugs could destroy whole armies.

Zara the master of fire chemistry. A brilliant mind who specializes in using chemistry to do impossible things with the element of fire.

Blue Snowman. The mind behind the unmelting blue snow, thee inventor of the weather machine, and master robotist who can create an army of terrifying robotic helpers to do his bidding.

And Eviless herself. The devious mind whose mental abilities and platoon of Saturnites made this all possible. Armed with the magic lasso, she was a force to be reckoned with.

The eight member organization of Villainy inc was united in its desire to kill Wonder Woman and knew that united they would do what even the god of war could not!

Knowing that Wonder Womans greatest allies were the Amazons, Eviless devised a plan. Using Mala to find out Queen Hippolyta's itenerary and discovering that she would often venture into the forest on her own for some peace and quiet in the mid afternoons, she sent Hypnota, Blue Snowman, and Doctor Poison ahead to get Hyppolya's attention. For Eviless knew that upon seeing three men on Paradise Island, Hippolyta would become distracted and focused on nothing else in her effort to remove them.

While Hippolyta was thus distracted, Eviless snuck up on the Amazonian queen and bound her with the magic lasso, putting Hippolyta under her power! Removing Hippolytas girdle of invincibility and donning it for herself, Eviless now possessed two of the greatest treasures the Amazons held dear. And with Hippolyta as her captive, Eviless intended to end the life of the third.

Wisking Queen Hippolta away back to Reform Island, she arranged for the second part of her plan by having Doctor Poison concoct a powerful knock out gas. Enough to render thousands unconscious. Commanding Queen Hippolyta to contact the Amazons of Paradise Island by mental radio, she had them all come to the auditorium on Reform Island for a special announcement. But once the Amazonians arrived and had settled down, the room was flooded with knock out gas, rendering the Amazons unconscious!

Removing the venus girdles from the remaining prisoners and having her Saturnite platoon guard them to make sure they didn't cause any trouble, Eviless had the Amazons all put under her control. And thus, Eviless had conquered Paradise Island and all of the Amazons.

Save for one.

Commanding Hippolyta to contact Wonder Woman by mental radio to return to the island, Villainy Inc concocted a gauntlet to destroy Wonder Woman.

Flying back to Paradise Island, the mist surrounding the island had been replaced with a storm of blue snow which sent the invisible plane crashing into the ground! Leaping from the plane before its destruction, Wonder Woman combated the storm of blue unmelting snow and the robotic army of the Blue Snowman himself! Breaking through and destroying the weather machine, Wonder Woman was about to breath a sigh of relief and search for Blue Snowman when the villains struck again!

Enveloped in a cloud of Doctor Poisons weakness gas to reduce Wonder Womans strength, Doctor Poison made a retreat as Cheetah and Zara set off a rock slide headed straight for Wonder Woman! But even weakened, Wonder Woman was able to smash the boulders into pebbles, though it was costly for her.


Chasing Cheetah through the empty streets of the Amazonian capital, Wonder Woman feared the worst. Especially as they made their way into the palace of her mother.
The moment she entered, she was beset upon by Queen Clea and Giganta who working together, attempted to tear Wonder Woman limb from limb!

But despite being half frozen and weakened, knowing that her people. Her family were in danger made Wonder Woman draw upon unknown reserves of strength and doing the impossible, she beat back her two strongest foes and staggered deeper into the palace to find her mother.

It was then after facing six of her greatest foes that Hypnota struck. Knowing that fatigue would be setting in, the master of the blue hypnotic vision attempted to overcome Wonder Womans mind and put her in his power. But even after all of that Wonder Woman pushed back and through sheer force of will she overcame Hypnotas attacks and limped into the throne room.

There, she found Eviless wearing the girdle of invincibility, wielding the magic lasso and holding a knife to Hippolytas throat. Threatening to end the life of the Amazonian queen unless Wonder Woman surrendered.

At her full strength Wonder Woman would have been able to overcome this. She could have rescued her mother, reclaimed the girdle of invincibility, and had Eviless bound with the magic lasso. But after facing the combined might of Blue Snowman, Doctor Poison, Zara, Cheetah, Giganta, Queen Clea, and Hypnota, Wonder Woman was unable to stop Eviless. She could not save her mother. Thus...She surrendered.

In the end Hippolyta and Wonder Woman were bound to a steel post with chains of fire which were impossible to shatter. Diana pleaded for her mothers release but Eviless scoffed, declaring that Hippolyta and Wonder Woman were to dangerous to be left alive. Thus at her command, Zara used one of her concoctions to set the steel post aflame. It would burn with a blazing fire that did not burn organic material. But instead it would cause the steel post to grow hotter and hotter until the pair were burned to death by the molten metal.

And all hope seemed lost. The Amazons were captured. The Island conquered. The islands defenses were turned against any of Dianas allies in the outside world, with no way for aid to reach them. The first supervillain team in history, Villany Inc had done what no single villain could ever accomplish. Defeat Wonder Woman. All due to the evil tactical mind of Eviless who turned her certain defeat into her greatest victory.

Day 257: Irene

Talented forger and art thief, Irene was a woman who grew up in poverty and felt nothing but disdain for those with wealth and power. Thus, she learned the art of forgery and becoming a talented burgler, she would break into museums and manors, replacing their master works with skilled forgeries.

But rather than sell them off, Irene would toss them in a fire, wanting to see their destruction so that the treasures of the wealthy would be lost forever

In the end, Irene would be caught by Wonder Woman who brought her to Reform Island in the hopes of rehabilitation.

There she would be outfitted with a Venus Girdle so she could not do harm, but be otherwise allowed free reign to travel the island as she wished, and would be encouraged to engage in activities with Mala and the other correctional Amazons. She would be taught the secrets of Amazonian super strength like all of the others in an effort to empower her, and educated in the Amazonian sciences to develop her mind and learning.

Irene came to see the Amazons not as her captors, but as her counselors. She would form friendships with the Amazons and her fellow prisoners. She would gain confidence in herself and her worth.

When Eviless and Villiany Inc conquered the Amazonian islands and enslaved the Amazons, the venus girdles of Irene and the other prisoners were removed and they were placed in make shift jail cells to keep them from causing trouble.

But the Saturnites and super villains had little cause to fear worry about the petty criminals whom Eviless saw as weak and pathetic for giving in to the Amazons 'brain washing' unlike the assembled members of Villainy Inc who resisted it with every fiber of their being.

But Irene realizing that the Amazons were in peril and that the villains intended to kill Queen Hippolyta and Wonder Woman realized she could not let this stand. She declared that what Eviless had done was wrong and even if she was one woman, she would stand up and do something about it!

Channeling her mental energies into her muscles, Irene grasped the iron bars that held her trapped and tore them from out of the frame. She grabbed the two Saturnite guards watching the hall and encaged them in the twisted roll of metal door and began to free the other prisoners!

She declared that the Amazons gave them a second chance! The Amazons had believed in them and offered them redemption and the chance for better lives! And if they did not stand up now and save the Amazons then they would be turning their back on everything Wonder Woman and the Amazons represented, and let love and peace fall to the hands of greed and vice!

Driven on by Irenes words, the prisoners of Reform Island stormed rose up! Standing against the mind controlled Amazons, the Saturnites, and the combined might of Villainy Inc, they attempted to put an end to their villainy once and for all!

But fiercely outnumbers and facing people who were stronger and more skilled than theirselves, Irenes efforts were being pushed back! But pushing forward through the onslaught, Irene dove under the right swing of Queen Clea, dodged the dangers of Zara and reached the burning pillar of iron which Queen Hippolyta and Wonder Woman were bound to!


Grasping the burning hot lock which held the chains in place, Irene shattered it in her hands and removed the chains which bound the leaders of the Amazons!

With Wonder Woman and Queen Hippolyta together, they dove into the crowd and with Hippolyta leading them, Irene and her fellow reformed criminals began removing the venus girdles from the Amazons, turning them to her side once again!

Meanwhile Wonder Woman took on the remainder of Villainy Inc As Hypnota, Zara, Giganta, and Queen Clea made a run for it in an Amazonian rocket ship when the tables turned, taking a wealth of jewels with them.

Wonder Woman handily defeated the remainder of her rogues gallery and stood against Eviless herself, armed with the magic lasso and the girdle of invincibility. But so focused on Wonder Woman was Eviless, that she did not notice Irene sneaking behind her and removing the girdle, robbing her of the invincibility which she had stolen!

And even with the magic lasso, Eviless was defeated in short order. Thus, the Saturnites and the remainder of Villainy Inc were captured, with the Amazons freed at last.

In the end it was not Wonder Womans strength or intelligence which saved the day. It was Wonder Womans unwavering belief that anyone can find redemption and be reformed. That if given the chance of reform, anyone could become better for it.

Day 258: Mr. Stalus

Jeweler of good repute with a highly successful business, Mr. Stalus is a friend of Wonder Womans whom she made the aquantance of when she approached him to sell some Amazonian jewelery so she could use the proceeds to construct proper hospitals in small communities.

Thanks to this, Mr. Stalus made a name for himself as a jeweler and soon he became the name people went to when it came to appraising the worth of high quality gemstones.

Some months after the defeat of Eviless and the escape of Giganta, Queen Clea, Hypnota, and Zara, the four villains had decided to go their separate ways and splitting the stolen jewels between them, they went their separate ways.

However Queen Clea was impressed by Gigantas strength. For the gorilla woman was mightier than even herself. Knowing about Gigantas motives for hating Wonder Woman, how she had imprinted upon a child whom Wonder Woman 'stole' from her, Queen Clea played on Gigantas weakness and informed her that Wonder Woman had hidden Gigantas daughter on Atlantis, which was now held by Wonder Womans allies.

She convinced the enraged mother to aid her in conquering Atlantis so that Giganta could be once again be reunited with her daughter.

Now with two of the most powerful women in the world working together, they were a force to be reckoned with.

But even with Giganta, Queen Clea was doubtful that she could conquer Atlantis. Thus, she sought to hire surface dwelling mercenaries. Realizing the jewels would make it difficult to barter, she entered a jewelers shoppe to try and barter the gemstones in exchange for American currency.

By chance, she had entered the shoppe of Mr. Stalus. Recognizing them as Amazonian jewels, he made an excuse that he needed to make a call with his bank to make sure he had the $250,000 each gemstone was worth on hand.

In reality however, Mr. Stalus quickly went and contacted Wonder Woman by telephone via their mutual friend Diana Prince whom he saw the more frequently of the two.

Telling Wonder Woman about the situation and describing the woman at his shoppe.

Wonder Woman immediately recognized it to be Queen Clea and hurried over to the jewelers to apprehended Queen Clea but being impatient and hating to be kept waiting, Queen Clea had simply left with the gems still in her possession.

Next, Queen Clea attempted to go directly to a surface dweller she knew to be directly connected to military aspects. Thus going in disguise, she approached Steve Trevor, offering him a bag of jewels in exchange for fifty of Americas submarines and ten thousand of its troops. For Queen Clea while possessing some knowledge of the surface world, was not necessarily familiar with its ways.

Steve having been warned by Wonder Woman about the escaped supervillains, recognized it to be in reality none other than Queen Clea in disguise.

Pulling his gun on her, Steve attempted to fire on Queen Clea but the Atlantean queen simply drew her sword in the blink of an eye and deflected the bullets with her blade.

After a rather one sided scuffle, Steve Trevor was rendered unconscious and dragged away to Queen Cleas secret lair where she intended to pressure Steve into giving her the submarines that she wished for. For she presumed since he was the only soldier she knew, that he must be a high ranking one.

Wonder Woman finding out that Steve had been taken, contacts him telepathically and discovers the location he was being kept at. Storming Queen Cleas hide out, she is taken by surprise by Giganta, and between Gigantas guerilla warfare and Queen Cleas Atlantean training, the two of them were giving Wonder Woman a hard time.

But Steve freeing himself, was able to pull out his gun and aiming, shot the sword from Cleas hand. In reprisal, the Venturian queen threw a knife at Steve, getting him in the arm and distracting Wonder Woman who was quick to tend to his injury.


Queen Clea realizing they were at a disadvantage, made a run for it with Giganta in tow, and attempted to out run Wonder Woman. But being unfamiliar with the surface world, she relied on Giganta to find a place for them to hide.

However, Giganta herself had not spent alot of time traveling the surface world as she spent most of her life in a jungle, in a zoo, and in the distance past.

So recalling a place she had hid in the past, she lead Queen Clea to the Holliday College. Specifically the classroom of Professor Zool.

At that moment, Professor Zool was experimenting with his reconstructed evolution machine. Showing off to his classroom a monkey which upon the machines activation
'devolved' before their eyes into a tree fox, and then a crocodile.

It was then that the two villains arrived with Wonder Woman hot on their heels, and soon, Giganta was wrestling with the Amazonian princess as she entered the room.

Queen Clea not liking these odds and realizing the bystanders to be allies of Wonder Woman, began grabbing people up and tossing them into the de-evolving machine until Professor Zool and the class were all transformed into gorillas!

Using the devolved Holliday girls and captured professor as hostages, Clea and Giganta yet again made their escape, this time heading for the marine shipyards in the hopes of stealing a submarine!

And indeed, between Giganta and Queen Clea, they succeeded!

Heading deep beneath the sea to avoid detection, Queen Clea plotted a means of conquering Atlantis without the army she so desired. Considering even the destruction of the ocean floor, sending the ocean waves in to destroy the great lost continent.

But while Clea plotted and Giganta guarded the prisoners, Wonder Woman had tracked them down and swimming after the submarine, she swims under it, pushes it up above the water, and swims back to mainland, depositing the submarine in the middle of land.

Tearing open the side of the submarine, Wonder Woman took Giganta and Queen Clea by surprise and lasso'd the two of them so they could cause no more trouble, and sent them back to Reform Island to be reformed.

Then it was a simple matter of restoring the Holliday girls to their original form, along with Profesor Zool.

However, the wayward professor was estatic about his time spent as an ape, and declared that it was a monumental experience for his studies. And thus, he began feverishly writing about life as a gorilla from a first hand perspective.

Day 259: Clarice Mystic
A woman with hydrochromia, Clarice was a clerk at army intelligence who had an ordinary life when suddenly a ball of fire exploded in the air before her, 'burning' vocal patterns into the air, instructing Clarice to follow the instructions on her arm.

Looking down at her arms, Clarice screamed as an unburning flame coated her arms, causing a series of instructions to appear across her skin. Terrified of what might happen if she ignored it, Clarice hurried to the location the instructions ordered her to go to, and ran into Zara the priestess of the purple flame.

The chemist claiming to speak in the name of the god of flame, declared that Clarice had been chosen by the flame god to serve.

Meanwhile Hypnota standing back and wearing a robe to disguise himself, used his blue hypnotic rays to commanded Clarice to believe their every word.

Between the two of them they had turned Clarice into another victim of their team up to rebuild Zaras cult of the crimson flame! Giving Clarice the jewels which they had stolen from Paradise Island, they had Clarice try to sell them off. And she just so happened to stop at the jewelers of Mr. Stalus. Recognizing the gemstones, Stalus contacted Wonder Woman who recognizing Clarice, watched her as she worked within army intelligence, and discovered that Clarice was serving as a spy and keeping an ear out for anyone talking about Zara of Hypnota.

Changing into her Wonder Woman outfit, Diana followed after Clarice and saw her talk into the street and stand on a manhole cover. Speaking the password, she descended down an elevator shaft which took her down to Zaras secret lair.

Wonder Woman having heard the password waits until it comes back up and uses the password as well. But she is lowered into a cage of fire and told to speak the second password by the automated security system devised by Zara. With no idea of what it could be, Diana takes a guess and failing, the room is flooded with knockout gas which renders her unconscious.

Wonder Woman is chained in flames by Hypnota, rendering her powerless. Desperate, Diana telepathically calls for Etta who does a raid upon Zaras lair but as the Holliday girls are working to rescue Wonder Woman and capture the villains, a desperate Zara holds a knife to Clarices neck unless they surrender.

The Holliday girls give in, and soon the lot of them are chained as well.

Zara wanting to teach Wonder Woman a lesson, tosses a bound Clarice in with the lot of Holliday girls and puts a sword in Dianas mouth. She declares that she will let the rest of Wonder Womans friends go free, so long as Diana ends the life of one of her compatriots. And if she failed to choose, Zara intended to simply kill them all.

Wonder Woman looking from the sword to her chained companions approached them with a heaving heart and bringing the sword down Wonder Woman split in two....The chains holding Etta Candy and the Holliday girls!

Freed from their shackles, Etta Candy and the others turned the tide of despair and soon had Zara, Hypnota and their followers captured.

Freeing Wonder Woman, Etta embraced her best friend, glad she was okay.

As for Clarice, she would be cleared of her wrong doing in this as she was just a victim, and she would go on to continue her job as a clerk in army intelligence.

Day 260: Fausta Grables
Spy for the nazis during World War 2, Fausta was sent to gather intelligence about Wonder Woman, the greatest threat to the nazis dreams of conquest.

So stealing the press pass of infamous tabloid reporter for the Daily Tab, Rora Blanks, Fausta entered the army intelligence building and began digging up info on Wonder Woman in interviews with the staff claiming it was for a piece.

But when she came to interview Diana Prince, the amazonian princess knew something was fishy. For Wonder Woman reads every newspaper every day and is familiar with Rora Blanks work. She focuses on scandals and romantic angles. Tauntry affairs and secret lovers.

But the woman interviewing her was asking where Wonder Woman lived, how she was contacted, what her weaknesses were, did she have any loved ones who she would hate to see killed.

Before Wonder Woman could stop to question 'Rora Blanks' Fausta took advantage of Steve entering the room to sneak out while Diana was distracted.
Thus would begin Fausta's efforts to spy upon Wonder Womans friends and allies, gathering intelligence and such.

This would culminate in Fausta having her spy ring attempt to end the lives of Wonder Womans closest confidants. A pair of gangsters took Steve by surprise while he was walking home, only to lose handily to the armed military man who shot their guns from their hands and knocked them out cold.

A gang of men stormed the Holliday college dorms with machine guns, underestimating Etta Candy and the Holliday girls who defeated the lot of them without suffering a scratch.

And Diana Prince entered her apartment where Fausta had set a bomb to explode! Fortunately Diana noticed the bomb and using her mattress to shield herself from the explosion, dove out a window and landed in a tree outside her windowsill.

Seeing Faustas efforts foiled, her higher ups declared that she had one last chance to defeat Wonder Woman or she was finished. Knowing her life was at stake, Fausta resorted to an open challenge. Renting out a theater and taking the guise of 'Strongra' Fausta publicly challenged Wonder Woman to a fight.

Wonder Woman would accept, planning to simply wrestle Fausta to submission, only for the spy to turn the tables by stealing Wonder Womans magic lasso and binding her with it!

Wonder Woman who had been growing over confident of her abilities as none of her foes thus far had posed a challenge, was stunned by this and at first seemed to be at Faustas mercy. But leaping twenty feet into the air, she caused Fausta to loose grasp of the lasso and fall, allowing Diana to free herself.

After which, Fausta was taken to Reform Island where she would see rehabilitation and be safe from the threat of death at the hands of the nazis. As for Wonder Woman, she learned a valuable lesson in not underestimating her opponents.

Day 261: Tommy Royden

Young freckled child of thirteen with two younger siblings and a widowed mother, Tommy is a lad born to poverty in a little town off the coast.

One day when heading to the store for food taking with him the entire family fortune of twelve dollars, Tommy stopped at the bakery first for some bread when he discovered a group of nazi soldiers plotting to conquer the town and use it as the beach head for an invasion!

Before Tommy could run for help he was noticed by the shoppe owner Mr. Kipp who was in league with the invaders and soon the poor lad was tied up and stuffed in a storage closet.

Days would pass and the poor boy would seem lost. With a grieving mother and no food nor money, the two children wrote to Wonder Woman to help them!

Wonder Woman having made it publicly known that her good friend Diana Prince would forward any letters meant for the Amazonian princess to her, read its contents and rushed to the town carrying a years worth of food!

Delivering the food to the childrens home, Wonder Woman spoke with the mother to find out how poor Tommy had disappeared and soon set off in search of him!

Following his trail, Wonder Woman entered the bakery and upon being seen, the panicking Mr. Kipp assumed Wonder Woman had discovered their plan!

Naturally Wonder Woman deflected the bullets and quickly captured the fiend and using the magic lasso, found out that he was smuggling soldiers into the country to conquer it, and that the soldiers were hiding out in a certain famous gabled house which they had broken into and claimed for their own.

Knowing this, Wonder Woman rushed to the rescue of Tommy and the true residents of the little house in that little New England town.

Capturing the nazi soldiers and from them finding out about their fleet of submarines, Wonder Woman contacted Steve Trevor to deal with the bound soldiers whom she appointed young Tommy to guard and running eighty miles per hour, Wonder Woman headed for the sea!

Swimming along, Wonder Woman tied her lasso around the fleet of submarines and swimming back to shore, she dragged the lot of them ashore with her lasso, marooning the lot and saving the day.

And thus Tommy Royden was reunited with his family once more and thanks to Wonder Womans charity, they would never go hungry again.

Day 262: Alltrue Blythe

Testing engineer for the navy, Alltrue Blythe was called upon to test Wonder Womans invention of the hydraulic coordinator, a device which using hydraullic power, could cause the ships hull to expand and contract, allowing a vessel to form a protective shell around itself which would render it safe from ice bergs and the wayward torpedoes while out at sea.

However, Alltrue Blythe was also suspected of being a villainous spy sent to sabotage the test and deliver the invention to nazi hands!

With so important a project, army intelligence calls upon its greatest of operatives, Diana Prince to investigate! Diana knowing she needed the best to aid her in this, deputized the Holliday girls led by Etta Candy as temporary secret agents for army intelligence!


Boarding the testing vessel, Diana had her eye on Alltrue Blythe who despite reports that he was suspicious and untrustworthy, could find little proof that there was anything false about him.

Meanwhile, Etta happened to see a woman running off with a military uniform and went to find Diana.

Tracking down the woman, she introduced herself as Bertha Nagle, Alltrue Blythes secretary. And she explained that discovering that he was a nazi, she had snuck aboard the vessel to expose him!

Before Wonder Woman could go and confront Alltrue about this, tragedy struck when a bleeding woman was found stuffed under a bed!

Wonder Woman being a medical specialist, rushed to the womans aide and tended to her wounds.

When the woman was stabalized and regained consciousness, she introduced herself as Luitenant Steele, and declared that she was attacked by her high school friend Berha Nagle!

Suddenly, an explosion rocked the vessel and rushing into the engine room, Wonder Woman found Bertha and Alltrue fighting over the hydraulic coordinator. With the place in flames and the ship in danger!

Etta having taken classes in fighting fires led the Holliday girls to putting out the flames while Wonder Woman lasso'd the pair and retrieved the coordinator before it could be lost. Thanks to Ettas efforts, the fire was put out, though the engine was ruined. Thus, Wonder Woman called for the invisible plane and towed the ship back to shore.

But not before using her magic lasso to get the truth. Despite the suspicion on him, Everything Alltrue said was true and he was simply an engineer testing out Wonder Womans device. Though it seems he did not understand how it worked and had little actual technical knowledge despite his credentials.

As for Bertha Nagle, she had been offered a fortune in exchange for the device by a nazi general and was keen on making it rich regardless of the moral implications involved.

So it was that the ship was towed back to land, the device was placed in safe hands, and Wonder Woman returned to Paradise Island with Bertha Nagle.

Day 263: Princess Hyeenia

Princess of the kingdom of schizofrenia in the distant past, Hyeenia was a young woman with a spoiled personality and a determination to get whatever she wants no matter how insane. Best known for her laugh which resembles a certain spotted animal, Hyeenia lacks any conscience or sense of empathy, valuing her own enjoyment over the lives of others.

She was also madly in love with Phillippe, the newly appointed baron of the French barony of Baronia. Wanting to make him her property, Hyeenia hatched a plan to manipulate her fathers own madness to drive him to desire Baronia for himself.

Manipulating the finances of Schizofrenia with bad investments and frivolous spending, she drove the kingdom near to bankruptcy so that her father would look to a solution. Then pointing out the existence of the dreamy Phillippe and suggesting they could claim the barony for their own if she married him, she stood back as her father took to the idea and manipulated Count Gaston and worked to have Annette imprisoned.

With her 'rival in love' locked away in the dungeons, Annette inventively plotted various means of torture and agonies, with a gruesome glee at torturing Annette slowly to death.

For torture and agonizing deaths are two of Hyeenia's favorite past times. Though with barons daughters being such a rare comodity, Hyeenia usually makes due with servants who happened to be nearby whenever she is in the mood to practice her gruesome hobby.

When Phillippe voiced no interest in Hyeenia despite the loss of Annette and the pressures of Count Gaston, Hyeenia was furious and declared that she would have Annette killed and send Phillippe the remains in order to make him move on and choose her instead!

But before she could inflict these most terrible tortures on Annette Dubois, the young woman was rescued by Wonder Woman who would not allow such terrible things to happen. Driving Hyeenia to a fit of mad laughter as she informed her father who had Whizbam, the prison guard and captain of the schizofrenia military assemble his men to kill Annette before she could return to Baronia. With Count Gaston ordering his own forces to kill Wonder Woman on sight, declaring her an enemy of the nation.

Day 264: Eric Lander
Military arms manufacturer, Eric Lander was the inventor of the 'camouflage bomber' a dirigible outfitted with a special 'silence engine' and 'echo proof hull' which allows for the derigible to travel silently without making a sound.
And the ' Auto chameleon technology' of Erics invention which using recording devices and projection screens, copies the surrounding environment of sky so that it appears invisible.

Eric Lander prided himself as a weapon manufacturer without peer who had the rank of captain in the airforce. Confident that his inventions would serve to protect his country of the United States, Eric Lander just made weapon after weapon, focused only on protecting his nation through force of arms.

However when his Camouflage bomber fell into the hands of the nazi airforce, Eric was wracked with grief to see his inventions being used to murder his comrades and the innocent civilians of his homeland. Feeling responsible, Eric swore to put an end to this and thus, he 'turned traitor' and joined the nazi forces so that he could infiltrate their ranks and sabotage his chameleon bomber, and destroy any of his technology which had fallen into enemy hands.

Assigned to his chameleon bomber since he knew how to maintain it, he was an engineer on it as the enemy forces moved the dirigible into the united states, planning to bomb landmarks and monuments to shatter morale.

Intending to set the dirigible to explode and go up in a blaze along with his problematic creation, Eric Lander did not plan for Wonder Woman storming the dirigible and attempting to apprehend the crew!

Eric Lander wanting to make right what he had done, sent the dirigible to the ground and opened the doors so Steve Trevor and his men could round up the stragglers.
Then turning himself in, Eric confessed to what he had done, declaring that he deserved the death penalty for the deaths his weapons had brought about.

Instead, Wonder Woman declared that Eric needed to live and work to make up for what he had done, for the loss of life does not undo the loss of life. To truly make up for his misdeeds, Eric must live on and work to make the world a better place. And so he did. Eric would set out to invent devices of peace which would better humanity rather than the devices of death which had lead to such ruin.

Day 265: Mimi Shoofly
Holliday girl and member of the colleges rough riding club alongside Etta Candy, Mimi is a professional at horse riding whose mare has been with her for years. Knowing every square mile of wilderness within fifty miles of the Holliday college, Mimi is often roped into trips with Etta Candy whenever shes off to the Bar-L ranch due to her skill with a horse.

She is also very familiar with the back paths and little known ways to sneak her way to Starvard or the military college for a party or a date.

But despite her love of horses and exploration, Mimis true passion is journalism. Getting the big story, discovering the truth, shouting this news out for all to hear, Mimi dreams of becoming a journalist when she graduates, with no intention of faltering in the face of danger.

For being a Holliday girl, Mimi has received training from Wonder Woman herself in the art of self defense, and is the sort to gleefully enter a villains secret lair and make a good story piece out of the experience while defeating the criminal nare do well.

Fearless to a fault and always ready and willing to save the day when Wonder Woman calls for help, Mimi is a young woman with truth and justice in her heart.

Day 266: Baron Philippe
Knight of France and lover of Annette Dubois, Phillippe was appointed the baron of the barony of Baronia by Annettes father who approved of their relationship and wanted the two to wed. Phillippe is popular with the people, having a stellar reputation for his regular efforts to patrol the barony and drive off bandits before his coronation.

But with the mechanization of the kingdom of Schizofrenia and his loves evil uncle standing in their way, Phillippe was soon separate from Annette with his lover locked away in the dungeons of Schizofrenia castle, and Phillippe sealed away by Count Gaston in Morbid tower with declarations of insanity.

For in Baronia, they believe insanity to be a serious problem. Especially in the ruling class as such things can lead to really really stupid ideas. To resolve this, a past ruler devised the notion of creating a lone tower in the middle of the royal forest, and locking anyone suffering from madness in the royal family away in there to keep their madness from spreading to others.

So it was that Phillippe lay in despair, until she looked out the barred window and spotted Annette Dubois, his love, leading an army of women who have sworn to aid her in the name of love!

Count Gaston fearing Phillippe's freedom, ordered his men to do away with the prince and make it seem like an accident. Thus a team of oxen were fastened to ropes and began working to pull the tower down. All beyond the notice of the royal guard whom Gaston convinced were protecting Phillippe from an assassination attempt!

Having a mirror on hand, Phillippe hatches a plan and uses morse code via flashes of light to draw the guards attention and order them to stop fighting Annette!

The battle ends but shortly afterwarrds the tower begins to topple, spelling Phillippes doom! But not about to let such a terrible thing happen, Wonder Woman ran over to the tower and catching it before it fell, pushed it back up on its foundation!

And with that Philippe was freed, Gaston was imprisoned, the two love birds were married, and Schizofrenias mad plans had ended in failure.
All thanks to Wonder Woman who will journey across time and space to help those in need.

Day 267: Countess Mazuma

Spanish woman of means from Mexico, Countess Mazuma is a woman of an old noble family who had it all. Wealth, beauty, and the love of her life, Franco Mendez. Mazuma was a woman content with her life and happy as could be. That is until one day, she was framed for treason against the country of Mexico!

Worse yet, the one accusing her was none other than her fiance Franco Mendez himself who had in his arms a masked golden eyed woman who pressed for Mazuma's arrest.

Evidence that Mazuma had been in league with foreign spies was found in her house and Mazuma was sentenced to a life in prison for the crimes she was convicted.

Five years in prison, Mazuma would escape and take with her a kindly old man who she grew to see as family. Escaping with the elderly man, he told her of his secret diamond mine which he had been imprisoned for until he gave away the location. Mazuma inspired by this, purchased the land under a false name and in secret, began mining for diamonds until she had amassed a fortune.

Mazuma would use her newfound fortune to bribe politicians to her side and soon, Mazuma and her adopted uncle were acquitted of all charges. Setting herself up in a villa on the borders of the United States where her secret diamond mine was located, Mazuma plotted her revenge on Franco Mendez and the mysterious masked woman who had destroyed her life.

Discovering that her former fiance was in fact an international super spy who would do anything for the right price, Countess Mazuma hit upon an absurdly straight forward solution.

And thus Army intelligence received an anonymous tip that Franco Mendez was going to sneak into their headquarters to steal Steve Trevors mental radio. After which, Mazuma hired Franco to go after said radio and once he did, it was a simple matter for Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor to capture the international super spy who had spent years evading authorities by casting blame from himself.


This left the only the mysterious golden eyed woman. Using her connections and resources, Mazuma was helpless to track down the woman who destroyed her life and all she knew of the woman was that she possessed golden eyes.

And so it was that Countess Mazuma began arranging for the kidnapping of every golden eyed woman in the world so she could interrogate them in an effort to catch the one she was after.

Day 268: Casino Gangman

Leader of the Casino gang of gambling rackets and other illicit enterprises, Casino Gangman secretly owns several of the cities restaurants and bars, operating secret casinos in their basements.

Careful to stay one step ahead of the law, Casino kills any member of law enforcement who catches wise to one of his establishments, and does not hesitate to end a life.

So when Steve Trevor and Diana Prince went out to eat at one of his restaurants, Casino began to panic, thinking the pair were there to put him behind bars! So he had their drinks drugged, causing the pair to lose consciousness.

Thus began a surreal and strange dream on Dianas part wherin Wonder Woman was not a superhero, and the one trying to bring about peace in the world was a more stoic Steve Trevor. Armed with a golden bullet proof vest, he would fight crime with an invisible thought controlled helicopter, and lead a gang of Starvard students to combat criminals!

Eventually Diana would awaken from this drug induced dream to find herself tied up in a storage closet, with the gangsters dragging Steve off to be killed in the basement. Breaking free of her bonds, Diana changed into Wonder Woman and swiftly captured the criminals and rescued the swooning Steve who she took home none the worse for wear.

Its worth mentioning that this is the first time Wonder Woman pulls one of those 'Imaginary stories'

Day 269: King Vulture

A malformed man born with a deformed complexion, a hump on his back, and a limp. King Vulture is a brilliant mind who despite speaking with a bit of a lisp, is one of Earths greatest unrecognized geniuses!

However due to his appearance, Vultures brilliance would be overlooked and he would be mocked and treated with disdain. Despite his academic talents, the best King Vulture could hope for was a job as an assistant. Which I presume involves fetching brains and the like.

Finally reaching his breaking point, he snapped and declared that he would prove his brilliance by conquering the world!

Acquiring a secret headquarters atop a mountain accessible only by flight,, King Vulture experimented until he succeeded in inventing the vulture flight suit.

A suit which makes its wearer look like a giant vulture, it is equipped with an atom splitting engine which grants incredible power which allows the suit to travel at incredible speeds, carry seemingly impossible weights, and allow for the suit to be aerodynamic.

The suit also programmed with mechanical claws for grabbing things and carrying them off, King Vulture would use his suit to kidnap people and drag them to his secret lab!

Upon arriving, King Vulture would implant electrodes and radio trancievers into his victims ear canals and by electrifying his victim via these electrodes, King Vulture was able to short circuit a persons brain and allow him to reprogram the human mind, turning his victims into his loyal followers.

Mass manufacturing his vulture suit, King Vulture had an army of vulture followers who at his bidding continued to fill his secret mountain lair which were then turned into King Vultures loyal minions in order to carry out King Vultures goal of conquering first the United States, and then the world!

The Vulture is a foe who is not to be under estimated.

Wonder Woman Character of the Day

Day 270: Elva East

The greatest spy of Army Intelligence, Elva East is a golden eyed woman who lives with her best friend Tina Tomkins. In the name of her country, Elva travels the world in array of disguises and false identities, blanketing her true nature in a web of deception, making it impossible for even her own agency to know who or where she is until Elva has completed her objective.

Be it infiltrating a terrorist organization to destroy it from within, or playing the wealthy debutante to catch an 'untouchable' super criminal, Elva has never been unmasked.

On a mission to capture a criminal who was stealing military secrets and selling them through a middle man in Mexico, Elva seduced Franco Mendez, a mercentile spy for hire who she suspected of being the mastermind of the scheme.

But unbeknownst to Elva, Franco had been wooing Countess Mazuma in an effort to frame her for his crimes to avoid capture. Thus when an anonymous phone call tipped off police to search Countess Mazumas home and discovered the classified documents, Elva changed targets and focused on getting Mazuma imprisoned and the documents retrieved.

Unaware that she was convicting an innocent woman, Elva fell for Francos ploy, allowing the criminal miscreant to get away.

Day 271: Slick Slippery

Fiendish bandit and robber out in Texas, Slick Slippery is somewhat legendary for his ability to slip out from the clutches of law enforcement. Robbing banks, stealing armored trucks full of gold, mugging gold miners, Slick Slippery is a menace whose avoided authority by the skin of his teeth.

One day as he is casing a bank to rob later, he catches sight of Hard Candy talking with his friend the banks owner. The banker begs Hard Candy to keep his millions in the bank where it would be safe but Hard Candy scoffs at this, declaring that banks are easy targets for low down no good bandits such as the villainous Slick Slippery. Instead, he keeps all of his fortune in a vault back home.

Hearing this and knowing Hard Candy to be the wealthiest man in the state, Slick Slippery abandoned his plans to rob a mere bank and immediately raced off to beat Hard Candy home, intending to rob the house.

What Slick had no way of knowing though was that Etta Candy and the Holliday Girls of the Beeta Lamda sorority were spending the weekend on the ranch to enjoy themselves.

Thus coming back home from riding, the girls entered to find a man half under Ettas bed poking around.

Mistaking him for a would be suitor, the other Holliday girls had Slick hog tied despite Ettas protests, and began questioning the criminal about his intentions with Etta Candy!

Slick Slippery seeing his chance, attempted to sweet talk the girls and made himself to be a romantic trying to impress Etta.

Falling for this, Etta insisted the girls leave her and this would be suitor alone, leading to a bit of a kerfuffle which Slick used as an opportunity to slip from his bindings and make off with a sack full of stolen loot upon his stolen horse!

Etta realizing that Slick was toying with her emotions and played her for a full was so angry, that running outside, Etta uprooted a cactus and throwing it the half mile distance Slick had already traveled, she beaned the criminal on the back of the head, and sent him falling to the ground.

Thus when Hard Candy arrived a small time later he found the criminal nare do well cocooned in rope and hanging from the ranch sign awaiting authorities to take him in.

Day 272: Protus Plasm

World famous biologist and chemist, Protus Plasm is an older man who delights in mysogeny and mocking other people. Declaring himself to be the smartest man in the world, he insists that his intelligence gives him the right to talk down to others and treat them like children.

But when he is called in by the United States government to aid in a review of the proper diet for American citizens, the self proclaimed genius is ridiculed for lacking even basic knowledge about dietary health.

Protus unable to handle the mockery that he barrages upon others goes into a fit of rage and wailing all the while, he throws a tantrum, destroying his lab. Following this, Protus Plasm decides he will 'play a joke' on the government for daring to make fun of him, Thus Protus invented 'moron hormone' a drug which when ingested, would cause people to revert to 'adult children' whose emotional and mental state would be reduced to that of a toddler lacking in any emotional maturity.

Poisoning the water supply of Washington D.C, Protus Plasm laughed as the city soon developed into chaos as these 'adult children' began crashing cars into people for fun, and angered by the most meaningless of slights, began to kill one another.

Fortunately the day was saved by Wonder Woman, though the villainous Plasm was able to escape. But in the process his academic career had gone up in flames and what positions he had in the government, educational and academic communities were up in smoke.

Protus was enraged that his actions had consequences that affected him negatively and declared that it was the act of stupid people to jelous to understand his genius!

Thus he began targeting specific individuals. Poisoning governemnt officials with his 'moron hormone' he used a false identity to set up a sanitarium specifically for this 'ailment'

Taking on the name of 'Great Blue Father' he would convince the child minded afflicted by his drug that he was their paternal figure and that they must do what he says because of his supposed intelligence.

So it was that his former secretary Grace, government health official Jimmy Sissox, and others would sneak around and spike water supplies with the 'moron hormone' so that Protus Plasm could take his revenge, and commanded 'his children' to jump off of buildings after doing these deeds, assuring them that he would catch them.

Despite all of Protus Plasms efforts and planning however, they were nothing in the face of Wonder Woman who put an end to his schemes and rescued the poor unfortunates under Protus's sway. Curing them of the drug which diminished their intelligence and reduced them to the same childish lack of emotional maturity which Protus Plasm never grew out of.

Day 273: Dalma

Amazon of Paradise Island, Dalma was the one Amazon on all of Paradise Island who did not consider the island to be a paradise. Unlike her fellow Amazons who enjoyed one another presence and took pleasure in one anothers company, Dalma was the sole Amazon of the island who wanted the company of a man.

Jealous of Wonder Woman for being able to freely come and go from the island as she pleased, and for the Amazonian princess having such a rich romantic relationship with Steve Trevor, Dalma plotted to leave Paradise Island and set off into the world! To ensure that no one would ever recognize her for an Amazon on the mainland, Dalma broke the sacred laws and removed her bracelets of submission, and with it her self control.

Thus, Dalma riled up the Sky Kangas, sending them leaping off into space. And while the other Amazons were distracted trying to corral the lot of them, Dalma leaped into an Amazonian swan plane and flew to the mainland. Mugging a woman to steal her clothing, Dalma found it to be far to thick and to many layers, so she tore up a petticoat and top, turning it into a sarong and a cross strap bikini.

Stopped by a 1940s police officer for public indecency, Dalma laughed at the proclamation, leading to the flatfoot attempting to bean her over the head with a night stick which broke in half against Dalmas skull without the Amazon even noticing. Gaping, the officer got an idea to make a quick buck asked if Dalma was interested in the boxing circuit, declaring that she would have no trouble in the ring beating up her opponents.

Dalma lacking her bracelets, liked the idea of getting to punch people alot and readily agreed, which lead to Dalma becoming a champion boxer and taking down such notable names as Mows Stewess with a single punch. But as she continued to fight more and more, Dalma became more and more brutal. Savage for without ones bracelets, an Amazon turns violent and battle hungry. She would not stop until her opponents had broken bones, putting them closer to death with every match.

Without realizing it, Dalma was beginning to resent her current lot in life as she had yet to make any romantic connections since arriving on the mainland. In her irrational state, Dalma declared a public challenge to Wonder Woman whom she blamed for her situation and so it was that Wonder Woman took on the Amazonian berserker who without her bracelets, was a thousand times stronger than ever before.

After a fierce bout however, Wonder Woman laid Dalma out and had her hog tied for Wonder Woman as the champion of love and peace was not about to let herself be defeated by uncontrolled strength.

Taking Dalma back to Paradise Island to have her bracelets restored, the Amazon was taken before Aphrodite herself who voiced dissapointment in Dalma for using the strength she had learned as an Amazon to cause harm. Thus she charged Dalma with twelve labors to redeem herself in the outside world in order to better it and make up for the damage she had caused.

I cannot help but wonder what became of Dalma for we never saw how her story turned out.
