Year of Wonder Woman

Day 829: Tim Trench
Private detective from St Louis, Tim Trench ran his own little business with the help of his partner. Investigating crimes, spying in people for cash.The usual stuff for a private detective. Carrying around at all times his beloved pistol which he has dubbed Lucy and proclaimed his one and only love, Tim Trench prides himself on being hard boiled and stoic.

However when investigating an organization which was buying out property from a local business which was none to keen about the takeover, Tims partner Archie Miles was gunned down as a warning from Doctor Cyber not to get in her way least he share the same fate.


Driven by revenge, Tim begins investigating Doctor Cyber more than ever. Dodging Cybers hitmen and roughing them up, he would find out that another individual who was standing in her way was none other than Diana Prince.


So using his investigative talents to track her down, Tim Trench arrives on her door step just in time to dodge a hail of bullets from another of Doctor Cybers hitmen. Tim Trench is able to convince Diana to work with him in an effort to capture Doctor Cyber.


Tim would for a brief time serve as one of Dianas long list of love interests. Though his hard boiled nature meant it never got further than a collection of familiar quips and a single kiss.


Thus with his investigative abilities added to I-Chings contacts and insights, and Dianas skills honed from years at army intelligence which have allowed her to attain many contacts in the criminal underworld, they began traveling the world, foiling plot after plot of Doctor Cybers until they met in the country of Bjorland, having finally come face to face with the villain.


Doctor Cyber voicing surprise, as she had come to the country to put her money into one of those notorious Bjorland bank accounts, held up a chest full of gemstones and declaring that Tims partner was worth less to him than a hefty paycheck. So Doctor Cyber attempted to bribe Tim with the money to turn on Diana and I-Ching.


Tim faced by this incredible temptation and a small fortune before him...Pointed his gun at Doctor Cyber, shot her own gun out of her hand, demanded the chest full of gemstones, and then turning his gun on Diana and I-Ching, he declared he was done with all of them and that with this much money he was made for life.


So stealing Doctor Cybers hellicopter and leaving all three of them stranded upon a snow covered mountain, Tim Trench flew off with his ill gotten gains, escaping as Doctor Cybers henchmen would arrive to rescue their boss from Diana. The private detective never to be seen again, for he used his newly aquired fortune to drop off of the map, escaping both Diana Prince and Doctor Cybers wrath.

Day 830: Betty

Minion of Doctor Cyber, Betty runs Doctor Cybers underwater base. From which Doctor Cybers villainous mechanations are coordinated. Only accessible via submarine and hidden beneath a coral reef with the only entrance through an underwater cavern at the end of an underwater canyon, Doctor Cybers base succeeds in being well hidden, which is good for Betty is easily distracted and has a bad habit of losing track of what she is doing that she would be a terrible minion in any of the more frequented of secret bases.


Wonder Woman and I-Ching tracking down the base thanks to the help of the still hypnotised Maree who they had drive one of Doctor Cybers secret submarines to the base for them, arrived in secret plotting to capture Doctor Cyber once and for all.


Arriving at the base, they happened to get there while Doctor Cyber was in. However underestimating Doctor Cybers security, they were soon met by Betty and a group of fellow minions who held the pair at gun point.


Unaware that Doctor Cyber was in the process of turning on the bases self destruct mechanism, Betty and her cohorts were beginning to gloat and monologue about how brilliant and clever Doctor Cyber was and talk about what a great boss she was. Diana then pointing behind them, declared that she might disagree and when the group of them turned to look, Diana proceeds to disarm the lot of them and runs past them to confront Doctor Cyber just as she escaped in her secret submarine exit.


Contacting the underwater base remotly, Doctor Cyber orders her henchmen to hold off Diana until the base exploded. Shockingly enough however, Betty and the others instead quickly took off for the various escape craft and high tailed it, followed by Diana and I-Ching who hitching a ride with Maree, headed back to the surface just before the base blew up.

Day 831: Won-Lo

Friend of I-Chings before he entered the monastery and lost his sight, Won-Lo lived in the Soho district of London where he owned the most successful theater in the city, leading to him living a life of luxury and decadence.


Having also developed a vast information network thanks to his contacts in theater circles, Won-Lo also happened to possess intelligence regarding things of a more criminal nature. Thus if anyone needed to know anything, one would go to him.


On the trail of the diabolical Doctor Cyber, Wonder Woman and I-Ching wound up in London. While Diana went to do her own investigating, I-Ching headed to see Won-Lo for information, the pair of them taking the time to share a cup of tea and talk about the old days of their youth.


However unbeknownst to either of them, Doctor Cyber having discovered the existence of Won-Lo, had his maid Mai Ling killed and replaced with one of her agents, who smuggled a highly powerful explosive in the tea pot.


As the maid approached I-Ching heard the sound of explosive in the tea pot, able to deduce from its sound that it was enough explosives to level the entire building. Warning Won-Lo to run, I-Ching rose to grab for the tea pot, only for Won-Lo to pull I-Ching back and shield him from the blast.


Arrising from the rubble cradling the body of his dead friend, I-Ching could hear the criminal under the rubble cursing Doctor Cyber, declaring that Cyber had told her the explosive would be on a delay, giving her time to escape.


I-Ching suggested that she reveal Doctor Cybers location in order to avenge herself against the criminal and thus she did. So leaving his dead friend, I-Ching went off to put an end to Doctor Cybers madness.

Day 832: Lady Rothwell

Member of the old gentry in jolly old England, Lady Rothwell boasts that she can trace her lineage back a dozen generations to that of the royal family itself. However despite her love of lavish parties and mingling with her fellow members of nobility, Lady Rothwell also happens to be quite broke. Thus when Doctor Cyber offered to fund her little souris, Lady Rothwell was quick to become one of her agents.


Thus in charge of overseeing Doctor Cybers British operations, Lady Rothwell worked to seed Doctor Cybers influence into the nobility. Ensuring that those with even the tiniest bit of influence would either fall under Doctor Cybers sway or pay the ultimate price.


Eventually word would spread about a secret treasure hidden away in London. A fabled collection of jewels which were claimed to have once belonged to the royal family centuries ago, only to be stolen away by a lover in a fit of jealousy. Doctor Cyber wanting this treasure for herself, ordered Lady Rothwell to track it down.


Thus declaring she was throwing a treasure hunt, Lady Rothwell began seeking out the crown jewels under the pretense of a small party game she had organized, her fellow conspirators in on the plot.


Diana hearing tale of this party and suspecting a connection, joined the search and while avoiding all manner of murder attempts, she began uncovering clues starting with discovering a secret underground passage going from a country estate to Buckingham palace. And contained within a secret room with a confession and clue to its hidden location.


Avoiding more murder attempts, Diana would find herself in an alleyway where a famous string of murders took place and found another clue before needing to climb a wall to escape a hail of bullets.


Finally arriving at the Hardwicke Square Fountain, Diana searching the masonry on the inside of the fountain, found a loose brick and pulled it out, discovering the jewels just as Lady Rothwell herself arrived gun in hand, declaring that she would get the jewels no matter what.

Day 833: Reginald Hyde-Whyte

Wealthy British layabout who goes by 'Reggie', Reginald was a professional bankers son which meant he would regularly borrow money from his fathers bank without him knowing and using it to go out and party. A seasoned charmer of women, Reggie upon meeting a woman he has a passing fancy for will insist on buying them a new car, a thousand roses, and a diamond ring. Only to forget about them the following day and move on.


However also being a terrible gambler, Reginald also managed to lost more than half of his fathers money in a series of terrible bets. Fearful that his fathers bank would go under, that his family would be penniless, and that he would be to blame. Reginald begged and pleaded with his debtor to cut him a break. As 'luck' would have it however, his debtor turned out to work for Doctor Cyber who offered to pay off his losses so long as he worked for her, using his charismatic talents to croon and woo anyone she told him to, intending to use Reggie as a spy to get into the inner circle of any who would cross her.


And so after several jobs for Doctor Cyber which he would claim were not really bad things, he would be told by Doctor Cyber to seek out Diana Prince. So arriving in a fancy car and offering to help Diana find her way around the city, Reggie proceeded to get into Dianas good graces. However as he began to do so, he found himself genuinely falling for Diana. The rich layabout developing feelings for Diana just as she was beginning to do the same with him.


However this was not enough to make Reggie hesitate to blab about Dianas actions to Doctor Cyber, for as far as he was concerned, there was nothing wrong with his spying. And so when Doctor Cyber arrived to collect the jewels from Wonder Woman alongside Lady Rothwell and a gun wielding Reggie who tried talking Doctor Cyber into letting Diana live if she just gave up the jewels, Dianas heart broke and she proceeded to punch Reggie out, dodge a hail of bullets, and knock out Lady Rothwell.


Doctor Cyber meanwhile managed to escape as Diana responded sourly to Reggies pleas to forgive him and to not turn him over to the police for his crimes. Cries which fell on deaf ears.

Day 834: Top Hat, Pinto, and Moose Mama
The trio in charge of the infamous street gang known as 'THEM!' which has managed to avoid the notice of law enforcement thanks largely in part to their confusing name. Leading a large gang with such criminal malcontents as Mingo, all of which looked to be infested with fleas and lice in stained smelly clothing that hadn't seen a wash in years.

The three women leading their gang of seedy looking men would regularly harass the local businesses. With THEM! going out of their way to harass, disgust and drive people away from businesses with their very attitude and behavior. Tripping into people shopping and then picking up the fallen groceries, smashing them in their hands which they would proceed to wipe onto customers. Or coming down with illnesses, they would just go around coughing at people who tried to enter an establishment in an effort to drive them away.

Businesses were soon paying THEM! off just to keep them from driving them bankrupt. Well under the thumb of THEM!'s protection racket. Delighting in the act of harassing and abusing others which they did for fun, THEM! was in reality doing all of this as a cover for their frequent robberies. For using that neighborhood to hide out, THEM! were in fact regularly robbing the homes of the rich and wealthy. Using their grimy reputation to throw people off that the lot of them carried large caches of money and jewels under their clothes to avoid detection by the police.


Led by Top Hat, a woman named for her love of top hats, she possessed a trick umbrella with a hidden sword at its tip which was made from a bullet proof fabric that made her a surprisingly fearsome fighter.

Alongside her two lieutenants, Moose Mama a large ghastly woman with a questionable interest in collaring young women and treating them as dogs.

As well as Pinto a small woman who delighted in hurting people and making them feel pain which brought her joy.


The three of them with their gang known as THEM! were a force to be reckoned with who to those who lived in the neighborhood seemed unstoppable, for the police had little interest in dealing with a gang of disreputable who drove people away with their presence in a part of town that wasn't the most reputable to start with.


Unfortunately for THEM! however, they happened to pick the neighborhood which Diana Prince had set up her boutique.....

Day 835: Creepy Caniguh

Professional thief and conman, Creepy is a career pick pocket who is credited for teaching most of the thieves in New York the art of pick pocketeering. Having avoided being caught on numerous occasions, Creepys existence has never been proven by the police whose only lead is the confessions of petty thieves they have caught over the years.


In truth this was because Creepy was a master of disguise who would don a different appearance every time he went out thieving. Be it dressing up as an elderly old lady or a plucky college student, Creepy was a master of deceit.


So serving as a decoy, he would act as a seller of various things be they perfumes or books as he stood on a street corner. Distracting people with his wares, he would have his apprentice of the time work to lift wallets and cut purses. Moving with deftness and care through the crowds to keep from being noticed. Slipping them into a trench coat with dozens of inside pockets for various sizes of purse and wallet, the pick pocket would slip away unseen from the watchful eyes of the people to distracted by Creepys amazing salesmanship to noticed that they have been robbed.


Unfortunately for Creepy when he tried to pull this trick on Diana Prince, he neglected to account for someone with a strong sense of smell detecting his aftershave. When his pick pocket attempted and failed to steal her purse, Creepy pulled a gun on Diana only to be immediately stopped for she had already suspected he wasn't the ninety year old woman he was pretending to be.


And that was how Creepy Cavinguh was finally caught.

Day 836: Eris (Bronze Age)

Goddess of strife and discord. Eris is the daughter of Zeus and Hera. The sister of Ares god of war, Eris stands at his side as an ally in order to further the cause of strife and discord which always run rampant in war.


Ages past, Zeus deciding that the gods were detrimental to humanities growth, used his powers to bring the Greek gods to another dimension where they would live separate from humanity. The gods of the bronze age gaining power from worship and belief were limited in what they could do, but in this new realm thanks to its properties they would always have a vast amount of power, though never enough to travel between dimensions.


Zeus worried that without them around humanity would wind up wiping themselves out due to the sheer stupidity inherent in the human race, appointed the Amazons to watch over mankind. To intervene whenever they were at risk of dooming themselves but to otherwise watch and monitor, to let them make their own choices.


Lead by Hippolyta the daughter of Ares who earned her fathers ire by turning away from the path of war to worship instead the goddesses Aphrodite and Athena for she valued wisdom and love above all else, Hippolyta spent thousands of years on the Earth, saving it from certain doom countless times and looking on as her daughter Diana would go on to do the same.


However due to the Amazons weakening power, they were forced to return to the dimension of the gods to recover. It was then that Ares, Eris, and Ares sons Phobos and Deimos confronted Hippolyta. For she was traveling between dimensions using a secret entrusted to her by Zeus himself. A method which would allow even the gods to finally return to Earth.


The four gods demanded that Hippolyta revealed her secret, so that they could guide humanity once more. Though in truth they intended to rule. Hippolyta knowing that her father, aunt and half siblings simply craved the immense power that came from worship and knowing that the world would fervently begin worshiping them once they knew the Greek gods were real and that worshiping them would guarantee them victory in battle and power over their fellow man.


When Hippolyta refused, Ares declared that tommorow he would bring his armies to invade and conquer the Amazons, so he might take what he wanted. And thus the four gods leading a massive army that was ten times the size of the Amazons nation, breached the isles defenses and soon had the Amazons at their mercy.


At sword point, Hippolyta still refused to reveal the secret so Eris declared she would put a curse on Hippolyta. She would fall into a sleep which could only be ended by Eris herself. And be plagued by endless nightmares that would torment her endlessly. She declared that Hippolyta would be aware of every moment of it, and that the curse would be broken should she declare the secret to dimension travel which they so craved.


And thus Hippolyta was cursed to an eternal slumber. Screaming in dread and terror at horrors that only Eris could have imagined. The deities unaware that Hippolta having given her signet ring and the amulet of dimension travel to Drusilla the Wonder messenger, had her hopes pinned on a powerless Diana to come and save them.

Day 837: Drusilla
Messenger of the Amazons, Drusilla is an Amazon driven with a joy for new sights and a desire to see beyond the islands shores for the sake of discovery. But putting her duty above all else, Drusilla chooses the betterment of the Amazons over sating her curiosity.

So when on the eve of Ares attack when Hippolyta gave Drusilla her signet ring and the amulet of dimension travel to keep Ares from ever laying his hands on it, Drusilla had mixed feelings as she left the island to seek out Diana, for even powerless she was the greatest of them all. From this moment on Drusilla would become the messenger of the Amazons. Who traveled across the dimensions delivering messages to other realms, and establishing talks with kingdoms and nations across the dimensions in the name of the Amazons.

When Diana was met by Drusilla decked out in armor warning of how Ares had taken the island, she was quick to leap to their aid. I-Ching insisted on joining Diana and the three of them set off back to Paradise Island across the dimensional barrier to find it in ruins with many Amazons tending to grievous wounds.


Diana would find Hippolyta being tended to be an unnamed aged Amazon who explained what had transpired, and discover that her mother had been screaming in terror ever since the curse had been put on her.


It was then that Ares, Eris, Phobos and Deimos sensing Dianas returned, appeared before her. Ares declaring that his granddaughter of clay was the key to saving Hippolyta, he demanded that Diana get her mother to reveal the secret of dimension travel least she be forever in a dream of nightmares.


Paralyzed between her vow to protect mankind and her loyalty to her mother, Diana hesitated, torn. However Hippolyta sensing her daughters presence even in that comatose state reached out and grasped Dianas hand. The presence of Diana dispatching any nightmares which even the goddess Eris could concieve of.


Ares swearing angrily, declared that he would lead his armies upon the Amazons tommorow least they surrender the secret and that even though Hippolyta was saved from the nightmares, she would not awaken from her slumber unless the gods willed it.


And so Drusilla had delivered Diana to the Amazons to aid them in their darkest hour.

838: Deimos and Phobos (Bronze Age)
Deimos the Greek god of dread. Phobos the Greek god of terror. Sons of Ares, the two of them are often at his side aiding him in furthering the cause of war for few other things bring about dread and terror to such an extent. Even for those not engaged in it, just hearing of the war and death brings about dread and terror into the hearts of many.

Using their powers, Deimos and Phobos are capable of creating monsters and monstrosities formed of the stuff of nightmares themselves. Embodiments of terror and dread born from the terror and dread of humanities darkest nightmares.

Doing so, the two gods created an armor of terrible power whose very visage would fill people with fear and dread, paralyzing them. And with this army serving the cause of Ares, there were few able to stand in their way.

Ares ordering Deimos and Phobos to lead their army of nightmares upon the Amazons to slay them all save for Hippolyta and Diana, was certain that this would force the Amazons to surrender the secret of dimension travel which he so desperately desired. And indeed, upon seeing the army, the Amazons were frozen in terror, their resolve wavering at the sight of them.

However Diana noticing that I-Ching was unaffected, realized this was simply due to looking at them and ordering the Amazons to raise their shields, led a charge into battle against the invading monsters! A terrible battle was then waged between monster and Amazon but in the end, the Amazons succeeded in driving back this one legion of their full army of nightmarish beasts.

Diana realizing that it was impossible to hold the island, had the Amazons retreat far into the mountains beyond the island, hiding out in the hills of this craggy dimension. Their strategy no longer to hold a line but to move and evade, picking off enemies a few at a time in an effort to wittle down their numbers and avoid a direct confrontation with their full forces.

However with every dread and fear that humanity could imagine at their beck and call, the two gods had an army that far surpassed what the Amazons could muster.

Day 839: Siegfried

Legendary hero of norse myth. Slayer of the dragon Fafnir. Siegfried is the first to boast of his greatness, having been recognized as one of the great heroes whose reputation spans universes and extends far beyond his land of origin.

Being a legendary hero, Siegfried has been granted form of virtual immortality. For like all heroes, he hails from a dimension where he and other Norse legends call home. Just as Charlemagne and his empire exists in its own dimension. Or Camelot which is home to King Arthur and the Knights of the round table.

For whenever there is someone out there in need calling out for a hero to save the day, they shall cross the barrier separating their worlds to go out and make a difference for none may stand in their way.

However after thousands of years of saving people, saving the world, fighting wars to end war, Siegfried and the other heroes began to tire of their duty, deriding their efforts as pointless for nothing came of it no matter how many times they tried.

And thus despite the pleas for help, the heroes simply stopped coming to the aid of those in need. Instead they would relax in leisure, turning a deaf ear to the problems of the world and enjoy living in the moment. The heroes would instead get together and fight for sport. Partying and feasting with reckless abandon.

Diana unaware of all this and needing help to fight back Ares forces gets the idea to travel to the dimensions of various heroes in order to call to them for aid. So starting first with the knights of the round table, Diana and Drusilla wind up in Camelot only to find that all the big heroes were attending a fighting competition to prove which was the strongest.

Diana approached King Arthur and Lancelot, beseeching them for aid in stopping Ares from bringing war to Earth and wiping out the Amazons, only to be met with mockery by the so called heroes who declared that they are tired of hearing people begging them for help, and declared that people should just save themselves.

Hearing their complaints and their woes, Diana made her case that the world needs heroes to rise up for they give humanity the will to stand up for themselves and inspire the heroes of the modern day.

Siegfried outraged by this comes forward drawing his sword, declaring that he had been insulted and that he would strike Diana down for her insolence.

Day 840: Brunhilde

One of the Valkyries of Asgard, Brunhilde leads the Valkyries to search the worlds for fallen heroes and bring them to Valhalla. When she is not doing that however, Brunhilde makes it a habit of following the exploits of Wonder Woman for she is a big fan of Dianas work, declaring her to be the greatest hero she has ever known.


When Diana approached the heroes of legend to ask them for help and Siegfried stepped forth intending to strike Diana down for disturbing their revelry, Brunhilde who was already making her way to lend her aid appeared and grabbing Siegfrieds arm, she tossed the buffoon away.


And thus declaring (very loudly) that unlike the cowardly heroes who turn a blind eye to those in trouble, her and her fellow Valkyries would stand by the Amazons side in order to face the armies of Ares in their time of need. And so Diana and Drusilla returned to the Amazons who were fending off a squadron of Ares monsters, leading a charge of Valkyries which crushed the assaulting force.


Soon Diana discovers that Ares and his men working out the area the Amazons were in had simply surrounded them on all sides, and working out where they were not, closing the space until the Amazons were confined to a small canyon. With Ares now knowing exactly where they were, there was little stopping him from wiping them out utterly.


Despite this, Brunhilde stood with the Amazons and between her and Diana, they successfully fought off wave after wave of enemies. However their force weakened after so many engagements without chance to rest, were soon faced by the full force of Ares army. With Eris, Phobos, and Deimos at his side.


With Ares declaring this would be his final battle with the Amazons he charged head on into battle to be met by Diana who despite the lack of her powers and her tools, took on the four gods single handedly in order to hold them off!


But even with Diana fighting Ares and the other gods to a stand still, the army of nightmares and soldiers loyal to Ares was a hundred times the size of the force of Amazons and Valkyries opposing him and their loss seemed certain.


However hearing the horn of Roland blowing in the distance, everyone friend and foe alike turned to look on into the horizon to see that the assembled heroes whom Diana had met with having developed a change of heart, had arrived in order to prove their merit! King Arthur, Lancelot and the knights of the round table! Charlemagne! El Cid! Even Seigfried for some reason!


With the horde of heroes arriving, Ares forces were suddenly in dire straights. Not helped that Diana was successfully fending off Eris, Deimos, Phobos and Ares in combat! Having knocked the sons of Ares unconscious, Diana pressed on but severely wounded, defeated Eris and then Ares himself before expiring of her wounds.


Ares fallen and his weapon broken, looked on at his devastated army which was now mearly a handful of stragglers on the retreat, declared that he has been defeated. So using his power, Ares restored Diana to life though she was unconscious.


Returning the sleeping Diana to a now conscious Hippolyta, Ares declared that he had been humbled and was proud of his granddaughter who proved herself to be his better. Swearing that one day he would return to Earth and rule through war once again, he also declared that he would never again try to steal the Amazons secret of dimension travel to do it out of deference to Diana.


And so it was the Amazons were saved thanks to Diana, who would take time to recover. During which I-Ching would study with the Amazons to attain their wisdom and knowledge before the two would depart back to Earth in order to continue aiding humanity.

Day 841: James Arnett

Professional writer of mystery novels, James Arnett was driving out to a secluded hunting lodge where a series of grisly murders had taken place years ago in an effort to gain inspiration for his next book. On the way there however he mannaged to be caught in a terrible snowstorm that left him stranded.


As luck would have it though, James would stumble upon the 'Inn of the White Horse' a curious olde timey inn for travelers. Finding refuge inside and booking a night, James sitting in the downstairs area marveled at how the place looked a good four hundred years old. With no elecricity, and chairs set up next to a wood stove, the place looked as though it had been plucked from another point in time.


While he was relaxing, he was joined by other travelers who due to the snowstorm, found themselves trapped and wound up converging on the convenient inn. A pair of men by the names of Joe Collins and Martin Fellman. An unnamed balding man who spent the entire time clutching his briefcase and edging away from everyone nervously. A blind man by the name of I-Ching and that familiar of faces Diana Prince.


The proprietoress and her son Lemuel greeted them all, exclaiming how pleased they were for their arrival and soon everyone was settled by the fire enjoying supper when one of the men listening to the radio, heard a police report of a banker charged with embezzling who was currently on the run with a briefcase full of millions. Going on to describe the briefcase carrying man to the T.


The unnamed individual looking quite nervous announces that he is going to his room and ten minutes later Joe Collins declares that he is heading to bed early. James finding this odd tries to ask Diana and Ching what they think, however the two are focusing instead on the inn they are inside. With Ching declaring that there is something unsettling and foreboding about it while Diana mystified, voices conviction that she has heard of this place somewhere.


This exchange is soon interrupted however as Joe Collins running down the stairs screaming, trips and falls, breaking his neck. His friend Martin pulling a gun, runs up the stairs shouting that 'the money would be his!' And after a series of gunshots, his screams could be heard as well.


The proprietress despairing, voices dismay at the three deaths so far, earning the suspicion of the three remaining guests. And it was then that Diana exclaiming, drew James's attention to one of the mirrors on the tavern wall from which they were reflected...But neither the old lady who ran the inn cast a reflection in it!


Diana putting the pieces together and exclaiming them to James, declared that this inn was named after the white horse of death, and that these were ghosts who would absorb the lives of the living to grow in power! I-Ching adds that he had encountered similar menaces in China, though not with the surprising addition of firearms as Lemuel had grabbed a pair of guns from the two would be criminals before killing them after they murdered the supposed banker who in fact was a married man plotting an affair and wholly unrelated to the banker the men were planning to murder and rob.


I-Ching chanting an incantation, held his silver walking stick aloft and swung it at the ghosts, hitting them both and causing them to become solid. Then Diana kicking them both away and disarming them, grabbed James and made a run for it, with I-Ching grabbing one of the inns lanterns and breaking it on a table, setting the place ablaze.


The smoke from the burning inn would draw the attention of law enforcement, though the three kept quiet about the ghosts since it was to impossible to believe. And thus they went their separate ways, with James Arnett plotting to use the entire encounter for his next novel, and deciding to start getting into paranormal mystery fiction.

Day 842: Fabiola

Princess of the country of Daldonia, Fabiola in the most shocking of shocking twists that has totally never ever not even once ever occurred in the history of Wonder Woman...Happens to shockingly enough look exactly like Diana!


To be married in a matter of days, Fabiola was wistfully wishing she could travel the world, only to be on house arrest due to the numerous attempts on her life, for should she marry, the royal line of succession would shift to another family, leaving her own relatives incapable of claiming the crown for their own.


Diana having decided to take a vacation to Daldonia for the weekend was enjoying herself at a nice little cafe, finding it a bit odd how everyone kept gaping in awe at her presence and how the cafe owner himself insisted on serving her drink and declaring it was on the house.


When all of the sudden a group of men in a van drove up and began pouring out with guns declaring that she would come with them! Naturally, Diana having mastered every form of martial arts in the world effortlessly dispatched them and going back to her beverage, she was soon approached by the royal guard who referring to her as princess, declared it wasn't safe there and ignoring Dianas protests, quickly escorted Diana to the castle.


Soon she was met by General Rupert the uncle of Fabiola who mistaking Diana for Fabiola, began scolding Diana for going out despite the threats to her life and near deaths she had already undergone! Diana trying to explain that they were mistaking her for someone else, but the similarities were so striking that they refused to believe it.


Fabiola hearing that she was presently being scolded by her uncle for going out curtailed her plot to sneak out of the castle for a day on the town and instead met with her uncle, only to discover her doppleganger in Diana! The two quickly hit it off and soon began chatting like old friends as a servant soon brought them tea and they began sitting comfortably down to enjoy themselves while Rupert and his men were still in the room.


Fabiola touching on an idea she got from a book, declared that they could switch places, with Diana playing the part of the princess while she lived the life of a pauper for a few days to give her a chance to unwind~! However before this plan could get off the ground, Rupert who was still there firmly reminded Fabiola that she was getting married tommorow and that it would be impossible for her to do so.


To which a crestfallen Fabiola with a sigh agreed, though she insisted that Diana simply must attend her wedding which Diana was helpless to say no to.

Day 843: Cathy Perkins

Innocent young women and college student who lived with her parents, Cathy accepting herself for what she was but fearing the reactions of her parents should they find out and convinced they would disapprove, Cathy would up running from home and began living on the streets. No longer attending classes for fear that her parents would be able to find her.


Though her parents filed a missing persons report, Cathy remained unfound thanks to her avoidance of hotels or the like. Eventually the poor woman would be found by THEM! who hearing Cathys story, played the part of concerned citizens and offered to let her stay with them. So Cathy found a home with Top Hat, Moose Mama, and Pinto, unaware of the truth until it was to late.


For the first few days everything seemed fine. Then Cathy found her money was gone and asking THEM!, she was told that she didn't need money, as they would provide for her. Thinking this was unusual, Cathy didn't think much of it until after showing one day, she found her clothes and all of her belongings were gone!


Understandably freaked out, Cathy demanded to know what was going on and informed that she was their slave, she was told she didn't need clothes and was instead given a collar and told to do their bidding. Cathy refused, only to be beaten and whipped until she obeyed.


Thus for months, Cathy did the bidding of Moose Mama, Pinto, and Top Hat. Serving their every need, for if she ever refused she would be beaten until she couldn't walk. This would continue until one day, Top Hat and Pinto left the derelict apartment building they were holed up in to rob the Smithson estate.


Moose Mama told to guard Cathy least she try to escape, instead took some unspecified narcotics that left her unconscious, giving Cathy the opportunity to saw off her collar and stealing Moose Mamas clothes, she ran off. Looking for a place to hide out, Cathy discovered an open back window to a certain boutique which was closed because its owner was out of town.


So living there for a week, Cathy was surprised when the owner arrived who happened to be none other than Diana Prince. Seeing the poor woman who looked terrified, Diana held out an open hand and offered to help her. However as Diana was talking, having left her front door open, THEM! arrived! The asshatish trio tossed a collar at Cathy and demanded that she put it on. Cathy numb with horror began to obey, only for Diana to grab the collar and rip it in half, demanding the trio leave.


Top Hat demanded that Diana stay out of their business, proclaiming Cathy to be their property. And Pinto suggested that they try to take Diana as well. And so the trio tried to attack Diana and shockingly enough this ended with the three of them being sent flying out of the store and landing in a heap on the opposite side of the street. Running for their lives, Top Hat and the others screamed that they would get even.


Diana unconcerned with the trio, instead turned her focus to Cathy. Finding out her story, Diana tried to get the young woman to go to the police, but Cathy refused, convinced that somehow THEM! would retaliate against her if she did. So Diana offered her a place to stay, and started by helping Cathy into some new clothes. As the one she currently wore were fifteen sizes to big for her.


The two of them would get along well and grow close. Eating together. Going out on dates. Sleeping together. The two being practically inseparable.


However THEM! still trying to both get back at Diana and enslave Cathy once more would try to send their minions to harass them and the customers of the boutique. Only to find their efforts stymied by Diana at every turn. This would come to a head when while Diana and Cathy were out, THEM! set fire to Dianas boutique, burning it to the ground! The pair would find a place to stay but Cathy heart broken, was convinced that it was her fault that it happened and refused to be a burden to Diana, leading to her running back to THEM!


Diana finding this out rushed to Cathys rescue, only to discover that THEM! expecting Diana, had amassed their entire army of hobos in order to kill Diana. However even with a hundred henchmen at their beck and call they were no match for Diana who soon had them all laid out on the street.


Tophats signature head piece flying off in the process revealed a collection of jewels which had been stolen from the Smithson estate, leading to Top Hat and her goons being arrested. Afterwards, Diana would be contacted by Mr. Smithson who would out of gratitude, arrange for her boutique/apartment to be rebuilt and refurnished in repayment for recovering his stolen valuables.


As for Cathy, Diana would convince her to reach out to her parents and reconciling, they respected Cathys life choices. And thus, Cathy would continue to live with Diana, taking care of the boutique whenever Diana was out of town on her missions.


Cathy would go on to join the womens liberation movement, learn karate, and become a well adjusted forward thinking woman.

Day 844: Tony Petruci
veteran from the Vietnam war, Tony is one of Dianas neibors, living just down the street from her with his elderly mother whom he takes care of. Working as a construction worker, Tony's hobbies include beating up homeless people, drinking heavily, engaging in PTSD, and amateur detective work.

While on the surface serving as a well respected member of the community whose well adjusted and friendly to everyone on the street, in private and to those who know him, Tony is very wound up due to both the war and the tragedy which befell his sister Angela who fell into a coma after someone poisoned the food at a party she attended, leading to three deaths, 22 seriously ill, and for Angela to fall into a comatose vegetable state.

This event with his sister driving Tony over the edge, he began drinking heavily and searching for answers, beating up anyone who might have answers to who was responsible. Soon though, his friends began avoiding him and Tony earned a reputation from those in the know for being bloody obsessed.

Carrying a gun with him at all times in the hopes of finding the person who poisoned his sister, Tony swore to kill the vermin responsible for her condition.

But were one to meet him on the street he would appear to be all smiles and kindness, for the face one shows in public is not necessarily the one they have in private.

Day 845: Patrick Mcquire

Owner of a freight airline, Patrick had been a military pilot during the war who having been shot down, was found and saved by I-Ching and his friends who nursed Patrick back to health. Swearing one day to repay Ching for his life, Patrick jumped at the chance to come to his aid.


So when Dianas contacts discern that Doctor Cyber was going to be in Hong Kong, Ching calls in his favor and soon Patrick is rushing them to China on a cargo plane, overjoyed to be able to help Ching and fascinated by Diana who hes developed a crush for. Catering for the two of them which he insists is the least he could do for everything Ching did for him in the past, Patrick proceeds to regale Diana with the story of how Ching saved him.


Though joining them on the flight was a woman who remaining quiet, had approached Patrick on the runway and offered him a million dollars to get her to Hong Kong, having heard he was heading in that direction.


However as they were reaching optimal altitude, it was revealed that the plane had been infested with mobster ninjas! Declaring they were there to kill the woman who had boarded the plane, these mobster ninjas pulled out ninja tommy guns and began ninja shooting up the plane ninja style!


The pilot of the plane Eddie getting shot in both arms during this, lost control of the plane, causing it to plummet. In the confusion as Patrick rushed to the cockpit, Diana proceeded to beat up the various ninja mobsters however before she could question them, they all bit down on false cyanide teeth, killing themselves least they give up information.


The plane flown to Hong Kong by Patrick while Diana tended to Eddies wounds, they would examining the bodies, discover that the ninja mobsters had tiger eye tattoos on the palms of their hands. A symbol which I-Ching recognized as belonging to members of the Tiger Tong. A powerful criminal organization going back several generations which was one of the biggest criminal outfits in the eastern world.


Patrick declaring that he could not leave Ching, insisting that his debt was not yet paid, and wanting to try and woo Diana, the pilot declared that he was going to join them on their adventures in an effort to combat the vile mechanizations of the evil Doctor Cyber.

Day 846: Runty Sneed

Ex soldier who served in Vietnam with Tony Petruci, Runty came back from the war with a small fortune which he acquired through unsavory means which he used to carve himself a place in the criminal underbelly of the city.


Having been hired to keep Tony from finding out who poisoned his sister, killing three other people and leaving her in a coma, Runty sent his goons to do rounds, intimidating and threatening anyone who might have information that could give Tony a lead. With Runty all smiles towards Tonys friends and playing up how unbalanced and disturbed he was so that people would be less inclined to help him.


However despite all his efforts, Tony was able to get a vital clue that lead him to the true culprit. Which had the true villain accusing Runty of failing his job. Fearing for his life, the crook sent his men to comb the streets and go after anyone looking for information in an effort to shut them up, killing them if necesary. However instead of finding Tony and stopping him, they instead ran afoul of Diana Prince who contacted by Tonys mother to stop him from making a terrible mistake, had gotten onto the trail.


So beating up the goons and finding out that they worked for Runty, Diana went to seek him out, only for the man who hired Runty to gun him down in an effort to tie up loose ends, for he suspected Runty of being the leak that put Tony on his trail.


Diana finding Runty bleeding out onto the street held him, trying to stop the bleeding and asked him who did it, but sadly Runty Sneed died in her arms. Getting an idea though, Diana put her ear to his mouth and made a show of understanding, stating that he had revealed the name of his killer.


Leaving the body and heading down the street to a phone, Diana was about to make a phone call when a car drove buy, the driver shooting wildly at her. Diana dodging, caught the license plate and looking up the address attached, was on the trail of the killer of Runty Sneed!

Day 847: David Mclean
British chief of police in the city of Hong Kong, David Mclean was the very symbol of Britishness and was seemingly all that stood between Hong Kong and socialism the greatest of horrors~! Leading a police force which was better armed than some militaries, David was assured that he was prepared for any crisis that might come his way.

Not that this was in any way true however, for he had not anticipated Hong Kong becoming the focus of a supervillain attack. For Doctor Cyber despite having been foiled in several of her schemes thus far by Diana Prince was prepared to release her true master plan! For having spent years procuring assets, destabilizing governments, building out hideouts and networks of minions to do her bidding were all in preperation for her plot...To take over the world!

Refusing to believe that something like supervillains could be a problem and insisting any problems they could face would come from either Russia or China, David Mclean was skeptical even when Diana, I-Ching, and Patrick Mcquire were explaining it all to him. But refusing to believe it, he sent them off on their way, unaware that Doctor Cyber had invented...Earthquake machines!

Dangerous devices, each one was the size of a small building and buried underground. A single device had enough power to cause a devastating earthquake that could level whole cities. And she had installed six of them in Hong Kong. Intending to use the city as a show of her true power. For having for the past several years been working on this project, she had earthquake machines hidden away in every machine in the world! With them, Doctor Cyber would conquer the world with threat of devastation!


Diana having found out about one of the earthquake machines and not knowing about the others, headed off with I-Ching, leaving Patrick to try and convince David. But Doctor Cyber having left the city to avoid the destruction, had already ordered her minions to activate one of the machines!


Her people fanatically loyal thanks to a hefty amount of brainwashing which she started subjected her minions to after a few of her plans were bungled due to self preservation, were activating the machine well aware that they would die with it.


The destruction was terrible, with buildings falling and people dying by the thousands. Fortunately, Diana was able to stop the machine before it could be fully activated, but with one machine failing, Doctor Cyber simply contacted her other operatives to activate the other machines in the city.


David Mclean finally believing them about a supervillain attack ordered his men to split between helping people and working to find the other machines. All the while engaging in fights instigated by Doctor Cybers death squads for having designed nine wheeled caterpillar vehicles specifically made for traversing impassible terrain, scores of her soldiers were armed with machine guns mowing down survivors to ensure the disaster would have a 100% kill rate to drive home the true danger that Doctor Cyber possessed.


Despite Doctor Cybers best efforts however, Diana was able to save the city, though there were many lost in the process. Her plan foiled, though she needed to stop her more than ever since she could replicate this in any other city in the world if she was not stopped.

Day 848: Eddie Dean
Traitor and professional assassin, Eddie Dean is seemingly a former soldier who enjoys practical jokes and had a reputation for taking things to far. In reality however, Eddie was approached during the Vietnam war and was recruited as a sabbatour to kill anyone on their list and to cause as much disruption as possible.

From setting off blank rounds outside of the encampment of the 54th armored division so they would in a panic began firing upon their own allies. To slipping a dietetic into the food so that enemy forces would be able to sweep in while they were helpless to fight back. Eddie would cause terrible damage which upon getting caught, he would be let off the hook by claiming it was a harmless joke.

Getting back to the states afterwards, Eddie would continue his work. Sabotaging power plants, killing people that his masters wanted taken care of. Sending their way any information that he might have up his sleeve.

Discovering that a group of government officials were attending a party, Eddie mannaged to worm his way inside and using a cocktail of deadly household poisons which he mixed with the food, he made a point of eating a little so he would get sick in order to waylay suspicion from him, in the process killing his targets.

Hiring Runty Sneed to cover his tracks, Eddie would continue his criminal efforts for years until given another assassination order, he used the same trick and the same method, drawing the attention of Tony Petruci who recognizing the similarities, realized it could have only been Eddie for he was the only one at both parties.

Blaming Runty for Tony finding out for the man was tearing apart the city looking for him, Eddie killed Runty out of revenge and a need to cover his tracks, only for it to all be for naught when Tony caught up with him and deduced that Eddie was a spy.

However before Tony could end Eddies life, Diana arrived and stopping Tony, she proceeded to disarm Eddie who was holding a secret gun and carted the fiend off to the police, declaring that Tony couldn't let revenge lead him to taking a life.

Day 849: Lum Fong

Leader of the ninja mob known as Tiger Tong, Lum Fong boasts a vast criminal enterprise spanning much of the continent and beyond. From racketeering to bribery to black market deals, there are few criminal acts Tiger Fong is not a part of.


With every member of Tiger Fong being both a seasoned mobster and a talented ninja, they are a terrible force to be reckoned with that only the most well armed or skilled of individuals could possibly stand against them.


So when Lum Fong was contacted by Doctor Cyber offering him billions of dollars for his plutonium supply and a cut in the proffits, he sent an army of ninjas with briefcases of plutonium, eager to land this deal and get into Doctor Cybers inner circle. However when his men arrived, they were killed on the spot by Doctor Cybers second in command, who happening to board the same plane as Diana Prince, headed to Hong Kong in order to bring about Doctor Cybers scheme.

Followed by Lum Fong and his army of ninja mobsters, they lost her in Hong Kong during the Earthquake but following Diana Prince to an old wooden ship, his army of ninjas filled it to find Doctor Cyber sitting on a throne emblazoned by burning coal chandaliers.


Confronting Doctor Cyber shortly after Diana did the same, Lum declared that Doctor Cyber was to become his slave and that he would force her to create deadly weapons to further his criminal expansion!


Doctor Cyber smugly inquired whether he meant a deadly weapon such as her lightning gun and then raising the weapon as Diana dived to the ground, Doctor Cyber fired it on Lum Fong and his ninjas, killing them all.


With his dying breath, Lum Fong gun drawn aimed at Doctor Cyber and fired, missing and instead hitting one of the braziers over Doctor Cybers head, sending a collection of burning coals raining down upon her face. Screaming in agony, Doctor Cyber swore she would get Diana for this, blaming her for the injury for some reason and pressing a button on the throne, she vanished into a hidden torpedo tube which launched away shortly before the ship exploded.

Day 850: Henry

Boyfriend of Abby, Cathy Perkins best friend at college, Abby was your average teenage boy with an interest in crazy car mods such as replacing the body of his car with two bath tubs that sat on the frame with running water to boot.


The three of them regularly hanging out along with Kathys other friend Millie, they like college students everywhere had a penchant for getting themselves into trouble and doing ubsurd and ridiculous things in an effort to pass the time and have fun.


However unlike other college students who might try something more tame like alchoholism or drugs or murder, Henry stumbled across a book on black magic at a used bookstore and decided to try his hand at dabbling in the occult for a lark.


So the next time the four of them got together, Henry talked the others into going along as he prepared a trigram with candles at every point and then reciting one of the spells in the book just to see what would happen. Not that any of them expected it to actually work, for the lot of them believed magic wasn't real and were just doing this for the fun of it.


And so standing in the trigram, Henry began to cast the spell "Aglon Vaycheon Olyaram Sotar Sabaoth Retragrammation by these names straightaway appear!" Finishing, the college students began to laugh and joke about the spell, only to be caught off guard as Morgana, daughter of Morgan Le Fay appeared, and asked why they had summoned her.


The four of them panicked and Henry looking through the book for a spell to send her away as the sorceress looking around, marveled at how much the Earth had changed since she last visited it. Musing that she wanted to go see the world, she noted Henry trying to cast a spell to banish her so, she turned him into a frog.


Leaving the others to scream at what had happened to Henry and turning the book into a duck, Morgana leaving via the front door went out into the world, leaving the three women plus frog to rush to Wonder Woman so she could save the day.

Day 851: Doctor Cyber

Otherwise known by her self made alias Cylvia Cyber, Doctor Cyber boasted possession of the greatest mind in the world. Having thoroughly destroyed any trace of a previous identity, Doctor Cyber was a woman whose entire history was an utter mystery for she constantly traveled around, called no nation her home, and none alive could claim any knowledge of her before she began her criminal empire.


Boasting a vast reach across the world with secret lairs, countless minions embedded in every level of every country in the world, and a talent for technology and engineering which was unmatched anywhere, Doctor Cyber displayed a genius with science and manipulation that few could rival. Though she would often be undone by her over estimation of her minions blind willingness to throw themselves en masse to their death in her name.


Plotting nothing less than world domination, Doctor Cyber has many ongoing schemes to make it a reality. Countless criminal enterprises to bribe and enslave politicians around the world to support her. Deadly weapons being manufactured from killer robot toys to Earthquake machines. And an array of vehicles and weapons for her minions to bring to bare in her name such as lightning guns, nineteen wheeled centipede caravans, cyber-unicycles with laser lances, and death stilts.


With her vast network of minions and incredible genius it seemed as though nothing could possibly stand in Doctor Cybers way! However this belief was challenged by Diana Prince and/or Wonder Woman who with the help of I-Ching had foiled her at every turn until things came to ahead in Hong Kong when during their battle, an unrelated villain shot at Doctor Cyber, causing a bucket of boiling coals to hit her in the face.


The incident scarring Doctor Cybers face for life, she declared Diana was to blame for this and swore her revenge upon her! Taking to wearing an iron mask, a fetching green cloak, and wearing a technologically advanced mechanical suit, Doctor Cyber would refer to Wonder Woman as "PRINCE!" And frequently shaking her fist, she swore to have her revenge upon Diana for something she was not at all responsible for.


Time and time again she would come up with some madcap scheme in an effort to take over the world and end Wonder Woman, only to in the end seemingly die, and then pop up some time later claiming that the one Diana had previously faced was nothing but an imposter for Diana had never truly beaten her.


And so Doctor Cyber would become a thorn in Wonder Womans side who for the longest time seemed incapable of ever going away.

Day 852: Lin Po
Town leader of the Chinese village of Ashai, Lin Po is an elderly fellow who had been a friend of I-Chings back in the day. Concerning himself solely with the well being of his village and the towns folk, Lin Po was in a panic when the Chinese military arrived and informed him that in three days the village of Ashai would be taken north, with its entire population regardless of age to be sent to working the mines for the good of China.

Faced with the prospect of his people being put in chains to live out the rest of their lives chipping away at cavern walls, Lin Po was desperate to get the villagers to safety. So getting together the people to inform them of what was occurring, they worked together to brain storm a solution and came upon an escape plan in the form of a large paddle wheel boat which had been hidden away a short distance away by some traders who had fled when the new regime came into power.

However even with a means of escape, the people still had their concerns for attempting to do this would lead to the Chinese military hunting them down and putting all of them to death. With no means of defending themselves, it seemed a grisly fate awaited them either way.

As luck would have it however on the day prior to the militaries foretold arrival, I-Ching and Diana Prince hot on Doctor Cybers trail, had disguised themselves and jumped the border into China proper, not about to let Doctor Cyber get away. Stopping in Ashai on the way for I-Ching wanted to check on Lin Po, they discovered the situation and chose to abandon their pursuit of Doctor Cyber in an effort to help those people.

And thus the two of them helped the towns folk to load everything they had and themselves onto the boat and in the dead of night, they began to make their escape downriver towards the ocean.

Come morning though, the military discovering they were gone began canvasing the area and deduced that it was impossible for a village that large to escape on land without leaving a trace so they began searching the nearby river, soon discovering the paddle boat.

What happened next was a terrible battle between Diana and the Chinese military for Diana was not about to let people be used and thrown away as though their lives were worthless. Duking it out with planes and tanks and cars driving along the riverside with machine guns, keeping the people save was a terrible challenge for a depowered Wonder Woman but prevail she did for she made it to the ocean...Only to be encountered by a Chinese battleship!...Which was blasted out of the water by the Hong Kong police for trespassing, with police chief David Mclean riding a police battleship to their rescue.

Declaring that he would ensure the people of Ashai would be treated well, he ensured their protection and helped them to acclimate to the city of Hong Kong.

Day 853: Morgana
Daughter of Morgan Le Fay and sorceress of immense power that dwarfs that of her mother, Morgana who boasts the title of the most powerful witch of all is able to do seemingly anything with her power. Nothing is beyond her magic for she can change reality and the laws that govern it at a whim.

Having made herself immortal she has been around for hundreds of years. Enchanting herself over time to have physical prowess greater than even Wonder Woman and with but a simple spell, mastery of all the worlds fighting tecniques just for the sake of having them.

However Morgana is not a hero or a villain. Instead she considers herself more of a tourist. Traveling across dimensional veils and exploring the cosmos itself, Morgana driven by sheer whimsy simply wishes to look around and have a good time.

Never traveling anywhere without her pet cat Frimfrost, Morgana knowing how much it liked to play, gave it the ability to transform into any animal. The adorable thing enjoying the chance to turn into a large predator and chase people around time to time for fun.

Even for all her power though, Morgana would not be that much of a threat given her sheer disinterest in anything but having a good time and seeing the sights. That is were it not for her being afflicted with manic depression. A mental disorder which can cause severe mood swings, leading to Morgana being happy one moment to furious the next to bawling her eyes out. Because of this, Morgana has a habit of going from helping someone with her powers only to curse the next person she sights due to some minor slight. And with powers as great as hers this was no small matter.

She would be asked by a homeless person for money and with a wave of her hand, cause it to begin raining millions of dollars from the sky to be charitable, causing a small riot and destabilizing the economy.


She would see a woman being depressed over her looks and in order to make her feel better, 'bless' her to have men fight to the death in order to claim her hand.


A barber would declare that she needed a new haircut, and offered her a discount to help her get with the times and taking this as a slight to her appearance, she had the barbers tools come to life and attempt to kill him, leaving the barber screaming and running for his life.


Passing a toy store and seeing the stuffed animals in the window she would think they were real and declaring she would save the animals, she would wave her hand and 'inspire them to make their escape' bringing all the toys to life and causing them to flee the toy store.


When Diana finally found Morgana, she had groups of young men riding their hot rods and jousting with one another while a marching band played in her honor. Not that the young men were under a spell though, she simply suggested it and they took to the idea once she conjured up some lances for them to try it with.


Diana declaring that Morgana must cease her mayhem, Morgana simply laughed and waving her hand, everyone in the area stopped moving, having been frozen in time. Looking to Diana with bemusment, Morgana simply said no, and began musing over what she should turn Diana into when I-Ching arrived and cast a spell which would block Morgana from using her magic, declaring that it was a spell that Morgana devised for herself ages past to keep things from being boring.


Diana challenging Morgana to a duel, declared that Morgan would have to leave afterwards which Morgana accepted, and soon showed that knowing every martial art ever AND having power comparable to Diana at her full strength meant she was really not someone that Diana had any chance of beating.


After in a shocking turn out Morgana actually defeated Diana, the enchantress declared that this was a fascinating excursion and with a toodle loo, she vanished in a puff of smoke.


As for Henry who had been turned into a frog, I-Ching would deduce that the only way to break the spell would be for someone to kiss him and thus with great reluctance his girlfriend Abby kissed the frog, restoring him to normal.
