Year of Wonder Woman

Day 1068: General Katz

American army general active during world war 2, Katz was charged with the responsibility of keeping safe efforts in inventing that one weapon which would end the war!


With spies and sabatours constantly up and about trying to steal their secrets and destroy their efforts, General Katz has been forced to constantly move the project from location to location. Sometimes having factories work on parts of it unassiming. Other instances he will truck the entire operation to a random warehouse for a day, make some progress, box it all up that night and have it shipped to a new location and set up the following day.


However with the Red Panzer and Baroness Paula Von Gunther on his trail, General Katz was growing desperate to keep efforts from being foiled. Especially with knowledge that the nazis were working on their own secret weapon, making this a race to see who would be able to finish their respective secret weapon first.


In an effort to foil their plot, General Katz called in Steve Trevor to help provide security but even then their efforts at secrecy were almost foiled by a cabal of spies only for Wonder Woman to foil their efforts!


Rather than thank Wonder Woman however, General Katz berated her, convinced she was somehow in cahoots with the villains as he worked to pack up the operation and move, dismissing Steve Trevor since as far as Katz was concerned, both he and Diana were suspect.

Day 1069: Portia
Amazon of Paradise island, Portia was charged with the inventory and storage of Amazonian relics and artifacts. As well as the care and upkeep of the Amazonian warehouses.

Be it the storage for various parts related to the care and upkeep of the Amazonian jet. The secondary archives where copies of Amazonian knowledge are stored. Medical supplies. Science equipment. It is all in its safe places.

Despite the general use of science by the Amazons, Portia does make use of magic. Specifically in the use of candles. In order to move things from the warehouse to the places that needs them, she will use her mental radio to have the recipient prepare the way for her.

Thus when Wonder Woman wanted to borrow some books from Amazonian storage, she contacted Portia and arranged for a portal to be opened. Thus Wonder Woman set up a star by lining up candles in the form of a circle and then a star on the ground, with Portia doing the same back on Paradise lsland.

Once this was completed, a portal was formed and Portia stepped through to give Diana the book, the two of them chatting for a bit before Portia departed, blowing out the candles on her end to close the portal.

Day 1071: Bombardier

Real name Thomas K Cole, Thomas was a fighter pilot at the beginning of World War 2 who shot down, crashed to his death only for his soul to be retrieved by Ares. Thomas would awaken in a hospital bed in the states, the doctors recalling Thomas Cole was miraculously saved, but unable to recall how that came to be.


In truth, Thomas K Cole became the champion of Ares without his knowledge. A pendant hanging from his neck which was part of a complicated and powerful curse. For Thomas discovered that he was now blessed with incredible powers.


Flight, strength nearly on the same level as Wonder Woman. Concussive energy beams which could be fired from his hands. Thomas realizing he had these powers decided he was going to be a hero of the United States and thus took on the identity of the Bombardier in order to mete out justice!


However the pendant the Bombardier wore around his neck not only granted him powers, it contained a curse. For every victory which the Bombardier would achieve, his enemies would be just as victorious. Thus as he grew more powerful and would create massive victories against the nazi forces, the nazis in turn would have massive successes as well. The point of this curse was to keep the two sides in a perpetual stalemate. To keep the war from ever seeing an end.


Thomas Cole considered to injured for the front lines would somehow or other wind up on congress where his political victories would be countered by his political rivals at every turn.


Initially viewing Wonder Woman as a possible traitor and spy, Bombardier would go on to see the error of his ways as they worked together to hold the line, only for the nazis to flank their forces. He would work with Diana to combat the Red Panzer and the Baroness, stopping the nazis secret weapon the cyclosonitron, only for their own experimental secret weapon to be destroyed as well.


As they were fighting side by side, Diana would catch sight of the necklace by chance and recognizing its curse, Wonder Woman did battle with Bombardier, taking his pendant and destoying it, robbing Bombardier of his powers and destroying Ares wellspring of power.


With that the tide had turned and while Thomas Cole was no longer the Bombardier, he lived once more and continued his work as a congressman to ensure justice.

Day 1072: Suzie Candy

Niece of Etta Candy, Suzie was a devious troublemaker of a child who hearing about the adventures that Etta would go on with Wonder Woman decided to steal her parents money to get a bus ticket, to the nearest train station where she would hitch a ride in a box car. Traveling from Texas to Washington DC so she could become Wonder Womans kid sidekick!


Arriving, Suzie sought out Wonder Woman and declaring herself to be an orphan with a craving for justice, she naturally assumed that like other superheroes that Wonder Woman would be quick to adopt her and thus her life of adventuring could begin!


However instead, Wonder Woman scrutinizing Suzies story, asked for Suzies name and when the panicking child refused to give her last name, Wonder Woman declared that she would contact child services to see if there was a family who could take the young orphan in.


Suzie outraged, began shouting at Wonder Woman that it wasn't fair that her aunt Etta was able to go on adventures with her, giving away her identity. So taking Suzie back to her apartment, Diana phones Etta who was currently out of town for a Holliday college reunion to explain the situation and Etta unable to get back, asked Diana to babtsit Suzie for a few days, saying she would contact Suzies parents and drive her back when she got back.


Diana deciding to go along with it, fetched an Amazonian book on true Greek history with the mythological beasts and gods included, to give to Suzie to keep her occupied, saying that she was going to have Diana Prince take care of her while she was off superheroing.


Suzie however was still determined to become Wonder Womans sidekick and finding this all suspicious, would investigate and stalk Diana Prince until she changed into Wonder Woman! Revealing that she had such information she attempted to blackmail Wonder Woman into letting her become the heroines sidekick or else she would reveal her secret identity to everyone.


Wonder Woman smiled and said that if Suzie wanted to do so she was welcome to try and the small child began to have a tantrum since her clever scheme had failed her. But even then, she had no intention of giving up.....

Day 1073: Torrence Tyler
Investment banker who operated out of Washington DC, Torrence was minding his own business like every other day when suddenly out of nowhere, the city was attacked by Queen Atomia!

The queen declaring that she wanted revenge upon Wonder Woman, had her army of robots grow in size from their subatomic forms and kidnap citizens of Washington DC including Torrence and the likes of Steve Trevor!

Before Wonder Woman could come to the rescue, they were shrunken to microscopic size and enslaved to serve their will! While Wonder Woman worked to battle Queen Atomia and her armies, Torrence and the lot were put to work mining uranium atoms for energy. A task which was slowly killing the lot of them.

However Steve Trevor finding this odd, wondered why the atomic minions of Queen Atomia did not do it themselves since they had robots who were seemingly capable of this same task. Having a hunch, Steve chucked some of the mind energy at one of the robots, causing it to blink from existence.

Leading an escape, Steve and the other captured individuals made a run for it and hid within the atomic universes 'Probability hills' from which an infinite number of potential existences occured simultaneously.

In poor health, Steve, Torrence and the others would make use of guerilla tactics to pick at and sabotage Queen Atomias forces in an effort that would stretch on into weeks as the radiation poisoning began to take its toll.

Day 1074: Tashia

Agent of the Sun Empire, that secret nation hidden within a valley within a mountain in the middle of the Gobi desert. Like all people of the sun empire, Tashia would harness the power of 'the emotional light spectrum' to control the forces of both light and emotion using the power of science.


Queen Atomia discovering the Sun Empires technology and ability to manipulate light and emotions, led an invasion upon the sun empire. Though many perished, the Sun Empire succeeded in driving back Queen Atomias incredible forces.


Though fearful that Atomia was bolstering her forces, the Sun Empire sent Tashia to follow after Queen Atomia, to do what she could to stop Queen Atomia from causing any trouble. Thus taking off in one of the Sun Empires invisible aircraft, Tashia would lie in wait, watching as Queen Atomia attacked Washington DC and began kidnapping people.


Using her technology, the minions of Atomia would hesitate, struck by emotions of nervousness and worry thanks to Tashia efforts using her technology. Buying some time for Wonder Woman to arrive, she remained in hiding as Wonder Woman did battle with Atomia, awed by how the Amazon fought.


But Suzie Candy eager to join in, ran into the battle to be grabbed by Atomia who using her as a hostage, forced Wonder Woman to stand still as Atomia pelted her with radiation.


Appreciating Suzie ensuring Wonder Womans doom, Atomia offered Suzie a place at her side and the girl thinking Atomia was much cooler than Wonder Woman since she had defeated Wonder Woman, immediately agreed.


Tashia forced to act, flew in on her invisible aircraft and fired a blast of cribbling despair at Atomia, giving Tashia precious seconds to grab both Suzie and Wonder Woman, spiriting them away. But not before Atomia blasted her in the back with radiation.


Dying, Tashia flew back to the Sun Empire with Wonder Woman and Suzie in tow, barely making it back before her life expired. Sacrificing herself to rescue Wonder Woman.

Day 1075: Jalla & Toric

Children hailing from the sun empire. The two siblings became orphaned when Queen Atomias attack upon the empire caused great devestation. While the Sun Empire was able to fight off Atomias forces, the attack had greatly shaken their society.


The Sun Empire being ruled by the twin queens of Solara and the former villain Leila, was propserous thanks to the use of the emotional light spectrum technology they had concieved of. And the twins more recent invention of the sun jewel which converted sunlight into prismatic energy to foster abundant plant growth, ensuring strong crops despite the desert climate.


While Solara swore to fight Atomia to the last and see revenge for those who had fallen, Leila thought differently. Seeing the orphaned Jalla and Toric, Leila felt that continuing to fight would only bring more harm to the Sun Empire.


So seeking out Atomia, Leila parlayed with Atomia and negociating, Atomia agreed to leave the Sun Empire in peace so long as Leila turned over Wonder Woman and Queen Solara.


Tashia traveling at the speed of light to crash land in the sun empire with Wonder Woman and Suzie in tow, dying in the process gave Wonder Woman the chance to discover the Sun Empires plight. Thus while Wonder Woman and the two queens talked, Suzie discovered Jalla and Toric, befriending them with a childs ease.


Discovering their tragic story, Suzie had a brief moment of reflection that perhaps she was possibly being a bit self centered but immediately discarded this notion and went on to play with the children as events unfolded.


For Leila springing her trap, used one of the sun empires kaleido blasters upon Solara and Wonder Woman. A device which reflects a targets mind within a thousand reflections, trapping them within a psychic kaleidoscope.


Lowering the shield protecting the sun empire to turn over her prisoners, Queen Atomia attacked! Waging war upon the empire, Atomia sought to destroy it utterly and despite Leila taking up arms and fighting alongside her people, the Sun Empire fell and its people enslaved by Atomia.


The queen of the atomic universe left Leila in chains, boasting that she would leave Leila to rule her empire in peace. An empire bereft of people as Atomia and her forces shrunk to subatomic size, returning to their world of the atom.


Enraged by this turn of events. This betrayal. The loss of her people due to events which she refused to take credit for, Queen Leila of the now ruined Sun Empire swore her revenge! Thus proving the magic of bloodthirst, Leila would rededicate herself to saving her people and making Queen Atomia suffer!

Day 1076: Orthia

Amazon of Paradise Island, Orthia was charged with overseeing the Amazonian radiation treatment facility.


Orthia and the other Amazons were soon taking up arms prepared to defend their home when an invisible aircraft arrived at the island traveling at the speed of light. For Leila one of the twin queens of the Sun Empire aware of the islands location, traveled there to get their aid.


For Leila aware of the secret base of the Sun Empire beyond its borders known as Kanjun house which would be used to arrange the coming and goings of their agents who moved unseen throughout the world, headed their to get an aircraft and headed to Paradise Island.


Explaining the situation, Paula Von Gunther arranged for an Amazonian shrink ray to reduce Leila in size and teleported her to the specific atomic atom which Queen Atomia made into her capital.


Arriving, Leila broke Wonder Woman and Solara out of Atomias prison and freed them of the mental prisons she had errected for them. The three of them working together, they strove to rescue those captured and enslaved by Queen Atomia, returning them to their original size upon the isle of knowledge where Orthia and her fellow Amazons were in waiting to administer first aid and reverse any negative effects that came of undergoing constant radiation poisoning for days on end.


However despite having freed everyone they could find who was enslaved, three were still unaccounted for. The orphans Jalla and Torric. And Ettas neice, Suzie Candy. Storming Queen Atomias castle itself, they discovered Suzie standing proudly at Queen Atomias side. For impressed by how Atomia defeated Wonder Woman, the fickle child declared she had no interest in Wonder Woman and now wanted to be a ruthless ruler like Queen Atomia!


The queen so impressed by Suzies good taste declared that she would make Suzie her heir and thus as a gift to the child, she made the orphaned children Jalla and Torric into her personal servants.


While Wonder Woman attempted to reason with Suzie and get her to come along, an enraged Queen Leila revealing that she brought along a world ending bomb that could turn electromagnetic radiation into an explosive force. Confronting Queen Atomia, the two hurled insults and as Atomia blasted Leila with a deadly blast of radiation, Leila detonated the bomb which would begin to consume the entire atom.


With Wonder Woman grabbing the three children, Solara collected her twin sister and the six of them were returned to the island of knowledge via teleporter where they were treated.


Queen Atomia and her forces had evacuated the atom to settle in other regions of that sub atomic universe, her means of changing size denied to her until she could rebuild her empire anew.


As for Leila and Solara, the twin queens with Leila recovered intended to return to the ruins of their empire. With the Amazons offering their aid in the rebuilding effort, Solara explained that it would be a year before their proud empire was restored and invited Wonder Woman to return for a visit once this effort was done.


As for Suzie, she claimed to have learned her lesson but in secret she was already plotting her future as a supervillain.....

Day 1077: Captain Montez

Captain within the Tropidor military, Montez was a central figure within Tropidors hierarchy as he was one of the few within the military to have lasted as long as he had. With others including superior officers dying in the struggle that was the civil war which has engulfed his Central American nation.


The rebels being backed by the god Tezcatlipoca for they served his interests, Montez was naturally opposed to them and nearly lost his life to their efforts were it not thanks to the efforts of Keith Griggs who on a mission for Philip Darnell, wound up in Tropidor to save the life of Montez.


The two military men quickly forming a rapport, Darnell used this connection to begin a plot to end the war in Tropidor by supplying munitions to Montez and helping him to forment plans to end the war. For the government Montez backed refused to barter with the rebels and would insist on killing them to the man.


But Montez simply wanting an end to the war, was in the position to stage a coup, take power, and use his newfound power to negotiate a cease fire. Darnell supporting this, put everything on the line in order to make this a reality all for the sake of being able to spin this as an example of his success.


So things were proceeding and Montez was preparing his coup. Only for everything to suddenly turn on its head when none other than Tezcatlipoca appeared before Montez. Showing him a vision of the future, Montez was soon curled up on the ground screaming in terror at the doom of the red skies. The end of the world was near.


With this dreadful reality on the horizon, Montez switched sides for Tezcatlipoca had devised a plan to keep this future from coming to pass.....

Day 1078: Lauren Haley

Lieutenant for the United States military and new transfer to Philip Darnells intelligence branch based out of the pentagon, Lauren was appointed to her position so she could serve as a partner to Keith Griggs on missions since Darnell preferred putting his agents in pairs.


With Lauren newly joining the agency. she was hand picked by Darnell for her fluency in Spanish and a knowledge of Tropidor which would help Darnells agenda in the region. Their first mission as a pair was to head to Tropidor and seek out Captain Montez for they had lost contact with him and he seemingly went missing.


With Montez being the key to Darnells plan to depose the Tropidor government and replace it with one who was beholden to the United States, locating him was of the uptmost importance.


So the two of them heading south, they would disguise themselves as reporters 'Linda and Kurt' serving as journalists for national geographic who despite the ongoing civil war, were covering a supposed endangered species which could only be found in the region.


However shortly after seeking out one of Montez's agents, they were attacked by the rebels to be tied up and carted away, for Montez had switched sides.

Day 1079: Nick Jones

Journalist from the United States, Nick Jones journied to Tropidor in search of a good story. Choosing to risk life and limb for the sake of getting a good scoop. Though he was a rookie reporter who got the gig because nobody else from his paper wanted to cover it, Nick had the gumption to see it through and make a name for himself!


Heading to the front lines of the civil war, Nick discovered government soldiers at a villiage which they suspected of being sympathetic to the rebellion, leading to them gunning down the innocents. Catching this on film, Nick nearly made his escape when he was caught by soldiers and when he attempted to interview him, they smashed his camera, broke one of his hands, beat him to a pulp and threatened to shoot him should he tell a soul what he saw.


Naturally after all this Nicks first impulse was...To limp back to his car, drive to the nearest town, duck into a bar and drink his sorrows away. There he ran into Gene Lewis, a fellow reporter who commented on Nick still being green to the gills, but complimented him on his effort, saying that Nick was a real reporter.


When Keith and Lauren ducked into the bar for information, the pair couldn't help but notice the bartender making a call. Gene having lost his car when soldiers gunned it down because he was getting mouthy, challeneged Keith to a game of cards for his car. Losing the game, Keith wished Gene luck as he slipped out to follow the two poorly disguised American soldiers.

Day 1080: Gene Lewis

Jaded journalist with decades in the trade, Gene had wound up in Tropidor in pursuit of the story, collecting bullets and ire along the way. Following after Haley and Griggs as they left the bar, he witnessed them being captured by the rebels who were making use of American munitions.


Being discovered and shot at, Gene high tailed it, with soldiers in pursuit. Being captured as well, him and the others would be dragged to a temple deep in the jungle where the followers of Tazcatlipoca were gathered in a ritual to save the world. Going through a ritual blood sacrifice which led to the deaths of many including the three Americans, the Aztec god used the power of their lives to turn back time itself!


Across the universe time began to rewind and pushing back, time itself reset by one hour. With everything as it had been. Exactly as it had been. Those who were sacrified were the only ones aware of what had transpired as they were once again dragged to the temple, once again sacrificed, and once again the world was reset an hour to the minute from the last reset.


Wonder Woman having been flying over central America when the first reset occured, was reeling for she felt something had happened but could not tell what. Praying to Athena for guidance, she found the abandoned car of Gene Lewis below and was about to investigate when time reset, putting her in the air in her jet once more.


Several more resets would occur as Gene and the others would undergo having their chests ripped open and a knife plunged through their exposed hearts in their final dying moments. But eventually Wonder Woman would discover the temple.


Facing off against the followers of Tezcatlipoca, the confrontation being reset and then arriving before the sacrifices could begin, Wonder Woman freed those imprisoned and with Athena supporting her Wonder Woman encountered Tezcatlipoca.


The god declared Wonder Woman had doomed the world with her actions for only his ritual was holding back what was to come. Declaring that he was wiping his hands of that world, Tezcatlipoca left the universe, sealing himself off in a realm cut off from the multiverse, his followers dying and becoming dried husks in the process.


This would not be the end to things though. For the sky had turned red.

Day 1081: Hiera

Amazon of Paradise Island, Hiera was one of the followers of Antiope, who seeing Hippolyta distraught and unable to move beyond Dianas rejection of her, spent most of her time mourning the lost relationship between herself and her daughter.


With Sofia Constantinas serving to help support Hippolyta, Antiope latched onto this and began convincing other Amazons that Hippolyta was letting Sofia control and manipulate her. That a former criminal was t aking advantage of their addled queen and that Hippolyta was incapable of governing.


With Hiera spreading rumors and convincing people that Antiope would make a far better queen of the Amazons, Antiope herself would play the role of selfless individual who only had the Amazons best interests at heart and wished to help their queen. In reality she was greedy for power however and intended to see Hippolyta humiliated.


Thus convening a council in secret, Antiope convinced everyone that Hippolyta needed to be replaced and Hiera was there to quickly chirp that Hiera should become the new queen. Antiope faked shock at the nomination and despite protests from a few in the council, Antiope graciously accepted, the Amazons now plotting to overthrow Hippolyta under the orders of their new queen Antiope.

Day 1082: Demeter

Goddess of fertility, harvest, agriculture, and nourishment. Demeter became the ruler of the gods through process of elimination after the attacks began. Thus donning the last armor forged by Hephestus, Demeter led the last stand with the last of the gods champions to hold the line and maintain reality itself.


For when the skies turned red, an untold army of shadows were unleashed upon the world and while its mortal heroes would fight a small contingent of them, their true numbers were focused upon the divine planes where they did battle with the gods themselves. For any effort to destroy a universe would certainly be foiled by those of the divine realms if they were not delt with.


And against that army of shadows whose touch sapped the life from even the gods, there was little defense and one by one they fell. Valhalla was in ruins with only Magni and Modi left standing against them. The Aztec gods left the world, intending to build a new one. And Olympus had fallen, with those remaining gathering at Paradise Island, the last remaining bastion.


Arriving just as Antiope had sprung her coup and was preparing to execute Hippolyta and steal her throne, Demeter declared now the hour that the Amazons had been preparing for all their lives was at hand. Removing their curse, she declared that the Earth itself was doomed should they fall.


With the Amazons forgetting their infighting and coming together in a moment of Crisis, Demeter sent Hermes off into the world to find and gather their allies and bring them to the island to face this final threat.


And thus flying straight to Washington DC first and foremost, Hermes arrives before Diana Prince in her guise and office, declaring that Olympus has fallen and that she was needed in this time of greatest need!


Diana though momentarily distraught at being unmasked, declared she would do her duty and Hermes used his powers to change her clothes. But before they could depart, Steve declared that he would stand by Dianas side!


Thus the three of them headed for Paradise Island to face the threat as the army of shadows grew stronger.....

Day 1083: Hades

God of the dead and ruler of the underworld where the dead go after they die, Hades was also the god of wealth and guard dogs. Wielder of a helmet which grants invisiblity to its wearer, Hades was a dog lover who lived within his realm of the undead where he sorted out the dead to where they must go within his realm.


Husband to the goddess Kore who would remain in his realm six months out of the year, Hades felt only love for the goddess of spring.


When the skies turned red and the army of shadows swept across the divine realms to prevent their interference, one of those realms under siege was the underworld itself. Charon was slain by the shadows as they flew across the river. Cerberus fought but was ultimatly slain trying to protect its master.


The heroes of the past united together and fought for death itself but a shadow simply had to pass through them to render them motionless. Sapped of all life and energy. One by one even death was being overcome by these evil entities.


With all seeming lost, Hades removing his helm, gave it to Kore and demanded she leave, declaring that he will hold the shadows off and give her time to escape. With great reluctance Kore fled through the gateway which would take her to Paradise Island. Releasing the monsters which had been sealed within the underworld in that time past. Even those beasts would fight against the shadows and fall one by one.


In the end Hades fell, but arose again as a puppet to the Anti Monitor. Who commanding Hades, restored the dead from his realm and across the world to life, so they might fight to destroy the world.


Then seeking to further sow division, The Anti Monitor used his puppet Hades to contact Ares who declared that this would be the final war and that he would fight alongside Wonder Woman to save it all.


The controlled Hades would convince Ares that this was a minor battle that the heroes would surely win despite the threat they posed. Instead he convinced Ares that now would be the time to take Olympus and destroy all who could oppose him!


Thus the fallen Hades and an army of untold dead marched with Ares who was unknowingly a pawn in the Anti Monitors scheme.

Day 1084: Lysippe
Amazon of Paradise Island who had sided with Antiope during the attempted coup, Lysippe wound up abandoning those plans in the face of the final battle for the world. Like the other Amazons, Lysippe donned armor gifted to the Amazons by Demeter who was making the last stand Paradise Island itself.

As the Amazons readied themselves, Kore arrived with a small band of heroes from the underworld, ready to aid them, for the underworld was lost, meaning even death was o safety from this attack any longer. The shadows were now heading for Paradise Island.

Despite how trained they were, the Amazons were faring little better in the fight against the shadows than the gods had. Their touch bringing death to the Amazons, many fell in battle against the shadows who were immune to the weapons of the gods. Which served to drive the shadows back but could do little more as they would simply reform and come again.

Wonder Woman carried to the island with Steve by the god Hermes joined the battle and soon Diana was focused upon simply protecting her fellow Amazons and lessening casualties. But even then many Amazons fell. Lysippe, Antiope, Hierra. One after another it seemed a losing battle.

As Hippolyta began to despair at the loss of her fellow Amazons, the shadows reformed into a larger entity and were about to strike her down only for Hermes to leap in the path, pulling Hippolyta away and being felled in the process.

Wonder Woman horrified at Hermes falling, retreated to the ruins of the Isle of Learning and retrieving the purple ray, she fired it at full power at Hermes in the hopes of saving him.

The healing power of the purple ray fired across the battlefield worked to keep Hermes stabilized though he remained to weak to continue the battle. But this would turn the battle. For the shadows upon contact with the purple healing ray would scream and disintegrate. For their very nature being the absence of life itself, the purple ray which was a beam of concentrated healing energy was their doom.

With that, Wonder Woman began firing the purple ray in a wide arc around the battlefield, felling shadows left and right. Until they were all defeated, the Amazons succeeding in their final stand!


But all was not over yet for the Amazons who fell in battle arose again to attack their sisters, for the Anti Monitor controlled death itself. But before they could bring about any more deaths and increase their numbers, Kore revealed herself to be the goddess of life and death itself, commanding the fallen Amazons to rest and find peace.


Including Lysippe who had nearly slain Hippolyta before returning to death once more.

Day 1085: Delilah

Former lover of Philip Darnell, Delilah originated from Burma where Philip Darnell met her, the two falling in love during world war 2. However without Delilahs knowledge, Darnell was only seducing her in order to get closer to her father who was supporting Japan during the war. Upon finding evidence of this and getting details of the fathers operation, Darnell killed him, sending soldiers in to arrest everyone and see the company that the man ran closed down and pillaged.


With the American army after her, Delilah was able to slip away thanks to some friends of her father who smuggled her to the Caribbean islands. From there, Delilah would go on to move to central America and spend the next thirty years using what little resources she had to build a financial empire on black market munitions.


But not satisfied with this, Delilah swore that she would destroy Darnells life as revenge for her father so bribing senator Covington and making him one of her agents, Delilah worked to dig up dirt and strove to ruin his career.


So when Darnell began setting his sights on sending munitions and plotting coups in central America, Delilah had him and thus using the many contacts in the form of senators and congressmen who Delilah had in her back pocket, she exposed Darnells actions to the public and had politicians seeking Darnells head for making them look bad.


It was at this point as Darnells agency was closed down, his title taken from him and possible criminal charges pending that Delilah revealed herself and who she was, boasting that she would see Darnell die. Shortly before a large chunk of Washington DC was swallowed in a giant sink hole caused by the crisis, doing away with congress, the senate, the white house, and thousands of people. Rendering Delilahs entire scheme for naught. For at the end of the world, what is one womans revenge?

Day 1086: Kore

Goddess of life and death. Of renewal and departure. Of the circle of life, and curses. Queen of the Underworld, daughter of Demeter. Wife of Hades. Kore wielded the helmet of Hades which granted her invisibility to all, and was the last survivor of the Underworld after it had fallen to the Anti Monitor.


Arriving on Paradise Island and ceasing the rise of the dead Amazons by putting them to rest, Kore declared that even with the bulk of the shadow army destroyed, the dead would soon end the living unless they could take the fight to Olympus and cease this madness!


Thus the Amazons mobilized and aled by Demeter they would journey to Olympus where a controlled Hades backed Ares who boasted that he sealed away the fallen gods so they would look on at what he has accomplished for all of time.


Kore meanwhile declaring that she would father allies, left to get help as the Amazons of Paradise Island stormed Olympus. Taking on an army of every hero and warrior to ever have died, answering to Ares commands thanks to the controlled Hades influence.


The Amazons would do battle with this army of the dead. Demeter taking on Chronus. Hippolyta taking on Hercules. Wonder Woman doing battle with Ares.

But even with these great champions, the Amazons were sorely outnumbered by the sheer numbers amongst the dead.


That is until Kore arrived! Having brought the warriors of Slaughter island led by Nubia and the Amazons of the Amazon rain forest led by Atalanta, the fight had become more even!


While the others struggled to do battle, Kore moved invisible and unseen amongst the combatants, Weaving her way through the battlefield until she found Hades looking on. Revealing herself, Kore reached out to Hades declaring that he was still in there and professing her love for him, Hades broke free of the Anti Monitors control and shared a kiss with Kore, breaking the Anti Monitors controls with the power of love!


The dead put back to rest, the battle now was between Wonder Woman and Ares. But Steve deducing the boast Ares had made to be a hint, discovered a line of statues of the gods and climbing up, shattered one of the fifty foot pieces of marble, freeing Zeus who was restored to life.


Zeus freeing the other gods drove Ares to retreat, and thus with the day saved at last, the event was commemorated with the wedding of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor, attended to be all the gods and Amazons, with Zeus personally marrying the couple.

Day 1087: Iona

Amazon of Paradise Island, after the events of the crisis, the Amazons returned to the island from mount Olympus when a horrifying threat began to assail them. A change which would mean their end, erasing everything they had worked for all those centuries.


For in the merging of universes, reality was changing and history was being rewritten. Some were capable of recalling the events of the crisis. Others would have their histories erased as though they had just been born.


The Amazons were horrified to discover that their written records of Wonder Womans accomplishments were being erased. That their science, their technology was fading into thin air. Iona the first to be affected directly noted with dismay that she was beginning to forget Wonder Woman herself!


Hippolyta noting that even she was beginning to forget her daughter, contacted their patron Aphrodite for aid in this crisis and it was revealed that their histories and natures were being rewritten. Showing them the outside world through the vision sphere, she revealed that it was as though Wonder Woman had never existed.


The island was safe for now thanks to the power of the gods, but this was simply a bubble stalling the inevitable which was slowly seeping in, changing the island and slowly the Amazons themselves.


Aphrodite lamented that soon even the gods would be altered by these events. Their history irrevocably altered.


Hippolyta beseeched Aphrodite for a solution. A means of stopping this from happening to them. Least they forget all about Diana. Doomed presumably to be retconned into being the children of an Atlantean sorcerer or shapeshifting globs of goo.


And thus Aphrodite stating that though Wonder Woman was already lost, she could make them forever immortal and with all the Amazons declaring their desire to escape this cruel fate, Aphtodite took the Amazons and placed them into the sky as constellations. Forever remembering the true history of Wonder Woman despite the retcons that would follow. To gaze forever on until the end of time.

Day 1088: Starlilly

One of the heroic Star Riders! A team of superheroes led by Wonder Woman who protect the world and safeguard the five elemental gemstones which the Star Riders safeguard lest they fall into evil hands, corrupting nature itself!


Starlilly had power over all plant life. Able to create it wholly from nothing and control what was already there. Able to fly on wings fashioned from flower petals, Starlillys charge was the plant crystal. Without which, plant life across the world will begin to die out.


With Starlilly serving as the protector of all that is green, she would do what she could to safeguard it. But she was not alone! For the Star Riders had the greatest of heroes amongst their numbers.


Putting aside Wonder Woman the greatest of all, the champion of air, and naturally Starlilly, the ranks of the Star Riders included


Ice, the ruler of the frozen north who wielded a scepter whcih granted her power over all ice in the world at any moment, and the ability to form it regardless of temperature.


Solara the queen of the sun who was born from its extreme heat. Guardian of the fire crystal, Solara was an enemy of Wonder Womans who became her ally in joining the Star Riders.


Dolphin, child of the ocean. A hero who had power over water and the ability to create bubbles of water which could protect all from harm. Guardian of the water crystal, she was the final member of the Star Riders.


The five heroes operated out of a magic palace which floated in the sky amidst the clouds. Located 'east of the sun and west of the moon' From there, the Star Riders would guard the crystals from being stolen for evil use and turned against the Earth.

Day 1089: Purrsia

Villainous sorceress whose magic revolves around the use of mystical crystals, Purrsia was initially viewed as a powerful magic user whose talent had earned her the interest of the Star Riders who offered to extend to her a place on their team given her talent.


However when Purrsia discovered that she was not being made the leader of the star riders, the sorceress refused in outrage, declaring that unless she was in charge she would never join them! Instead, Purrsia declared that she would steal the elemental crystals that the Star Riders protected, plunge the world into chaos, and force the Star Riders to bow before her as their master!


Declaring herself protector of the Earth and queen of the universe, Purrsia scoffs at things like a 'code of justice' or 'ethics' Instead declaring that the only living creature she cared about aside from herself was her beloved pet panther Panthera.


Stealing two of the gems from the Star Riders protection, Purrsia aquired the ice crystal which she used to hurry the melting of the ice caps. And the plant crystal which she used to cause mass famine by killing off much of the plant life.


Possessing a magic mask, Purrsia had the means to see and sense magic. Knowing where magical items were located and what their properties were was a great boon for Purrsias efforts.


She also collected a wide array of magical gems. Such as the net gem and the slumber gem, harnessing the power of her gems for great evil.

Day 1090: Panthera

Purrsias pet black panther and ignoble steed. Capable of flight, Panthera was Purrsias most trusted companion and the only one she knew would never betray her. However while her panthers magical ability of flight made it incredibly valuable, Pantheras obsession with shiny objects, bright lights, and a 'bull in a china shop' approach to playing around make Panthera a frustrating feline to depend upon for the villainess.


Using Panthera to fly in and her magic sensing mask to avoid security, Purrsia was able to sneak in and using the sleep gem which contains the power of all sleep, she affected the whole castle, bringing the Star Riders down.


With them thus occupied, Purrsia sensing the location of the magic crystal of water thanks to her magic sensing mask, found the stone which controlled the fate of the worlds oceans hidden in Dolphins sock drawer and cackling at now possessing the water crystal, the ice crystal, and the plant crystal, Purrsia began to use the castle to poison the worlds oceans with oil.


However Dolphin having protected herself with a bubble of water she formed around herself with her power to control water and create bubbles of it which can protect oneself, was unaffected by the sleep gem and raced to confront Purrsia just as she was about to make her escape upon Panthera!


But before she could, Dolphin like all of the Star Riders kept on hand at all times a shiny round bell and tossed it, causing it to roll and glitter across the room. Causing Panthera to knock Purrsia off their back and race across the room to play with the round bell, tossing it into the air like a hacky sack with its paws.


And thus, Panthera was defeated with the power of shiny things!

Day 1091: Cloud Dancer

Dolphins pet pegasus which she uses to get about since she doesn't have the power of flight, Dolphin would usually share the ride with Starlilly. With Dolphin controlling the pegasus while Starlilly holds her to keep from falling.


When Purrsia stole the water crystal and fled the castle from which the Star Riders were based, Dolphin had protected herself from the sleep gem Purrsia had used with a bubble of water.


Giving chase upon Cloud Dancer, Dolphin did duel with Purrsia who was flying using a cloud gem, only for Purrsia to create a net with the net gem to materialize upon Dolphin, sending her and her pegasus falling to the ground.


However before they could impact, Wonder Woman arrived upon her own pegasus to catch them and tearing the net apart, rescued Dolphin. However Purrsia succeeded in her escape with the gem in the process.

Day 1092: Drangal (TV)

nazi pilot with the mission to fly from Germany to New York city in order to destroy a secret American bomb factory, Drangal was sent by Von Blasko in the guise of destroying an American naval yard.


Word getting back to the states thanks to their spy network, General Blankenship sent Steve Trevor Americas greatest war hero to intercept the Drangal as he was flying over the Bermuda Triangle on route from Germany.


Drangal would encounter Steve and the two would get into an epic dog fight over the ocean. Their battle ending with Steves plane full of holes and almost certainly doomed when he took his plan into a suicide dive at Drangals, both planes exploding in a spectacular fashion.


Both pilots escaping via parachute, Steve saluted Drangal, impressed by his skill. Only for the nazi pilot to pull out his gun and shoot Steve multiple times. The wounded pilot being hit by a cross current and floating away.


Drangal in his moment of triumph at seemingly killing Steve, would land in the middle of the ocean and be torn apart by patriotic sharks who put an end to Drangals nazi ways as Steve would blow about on the wind, landing in the shallows off Paradise Island to be found by Diana, starting her adventure.
