HELP NEEDED!!

Hey folks,

So, not everything is good in Grapeland. My asshole transphobic neighbors strike again, and complained about us having ferrets. The management came by and declared that they have to go by August 3rd.

I really don't want to give them up to the shelter, because I have no idea who will end up with them, and will probably try to split them up (which I'd rather they didn't do.) So if anybody within the NY/NJ/PA would like a trio of ferrets (with a huge four story crate, bedding, the works), please PM me and I'll see if I can figure out a way to get them to you. Not looking to sell them, I just want them to have a good home.

So. My son's long distance trans-boyfriend (it's complicated) is going to adopt our ferrets. This is a huge relief for me, since I didn't really want them going out to the shelter and have the three of them be broken up. Our eldest already outlived three of his friends, and I don't think he'd survive if he was separated from the younger two.

Only setback is that they live in Virginia, which is going to be about a four and a half hour drive. Oy.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you found someone to take care of them, but sad they have to leave you.

You have no idea how depressed I am about this. To have lost two other ferrets last month, only to gain two more who are totally awesome, and to lose them again.

I am really glad the ferrets get to stay together, and would very much like to kick your neighbors in their stupid, hateful shins.

It's not just the neighbors, but the management as well. When I went into the office to talk to them about it, they took great pains to make sure that they addressed me as "sir." I'd just gotten off work so I was still dressed in my very feminine business clothes. No way you could mistake me for being a sir.
