Bombshells
Alright, so I was checking my email when I discovered that Bombshells had already popped up on Comixology when I wasn't looking much to my surprise. And seeing as its only a dollar, I just had to pick it up.

The first issue is great. X3
It opens with ye olde chestnut of a family walking out of the theater from watching Zorro...And are mugged by a no goodnick! Except this time, Batwoman is there and foils an origin story!
Its pretty wonderful. In this, Batwoman is a baseball themed superhero, she has Bette as her sidekick, lives with her lover Maggie, has a pretty kickass backstory, and that ending...WOW!
They went and shelled out the biggest badass in DC comics as a central role in this series!
I cannot recommend this series enough and urge anyone with a dollar to go pick this up immediately.

Re: Bombshells
Is it a weekly or monthly series?

Re: Bombshells
The digital version is weekly, with the physical version on a monthly basis starting mid august.
Re: Bombshells
Well, they took the bat-puns in a different direction then I expected. Looks like I will be throwing a dollar at this!
Also, I love that both the ladies working on it are named Marguerite. I love coincidences like that.

Re: Bombshells
I've been thinking about this for a while, but I picked it up to find out who the badass at the end was. I was imagining Big Barda or Power Girl. Nope, this is more accurate.
